We have had the admission from Iran their military did indeed accidentally shoot down the Ukrainian airliner.

I am wondering when the U.S. government will admit it accidentally shot down TWA 800 on July 17, 1996 at about 8:30 PM. That Boeing 747 crash killed 230 people.

The FBI interviewed hundreds of eyewitnesses and concluded they did not see what they all claimed to have seen…a missile rising from the sea to intercept the airliner.

Why did the FBI quickly seize control of the investigation when the National Transportation Safety Board is the agency charged with airline crash investigations?

Why did the CIA create an animation of the lie told by the government which defied the laws of physics? What do these professional liars have to do with domestic air crashes?

Why were two National Guard helicopter pilots ordered not to speak after they initially reported seeing a missile rising as they flew in the area that evening?

Why did the U.S. Navy vessels in the area immediately DEPART after the crash rather than assist other agencies in the crash aftermath?

Was the U.S. Navy secretly testing a submarine-launched missile trying to see if such an intercept could differentiate between friend and foe?

Was this test approved by the Bill Clinton White House team? (He was running for re-election).

  4. I called these Senators today telling them to vote for dismissal:

McConnell 202-224-2523 (mailbox is full; will try again)
Collins 202-224-2523 Told her the Portland Dems are not going to vote for her anyway; it’s going to be another clown show like the Kavanough hearings..
Romney 202-224-5251 Hard to to be civil…but I was
Murkowsky 202-224-6665 I told her I was asking McConnell to remove her from the Energy Committee if she did not vote for dismissal
Tillis (my senator)…he signed onto Hawley’s dismissal resolution..

Collins, Romney, Murkowsky are all Closeted Democrats. You might as well have called Schumer. But good for you giving it a try. They are there to give the illusion of “bipartisanship” whenever the Democrats want to pass a Democrat agenda that requires “bipartisanship”. Notice “bipartisanship” NEVER goes the other way — it is NEVER a two way street. Romney is there to take McCain’s place as the “well loved” Republican maverick. The thing is neither of them has ever been a Republican. We can’t do anything about these decepticons so long as Trump is in office (for them to OPENLY admit who they really are would harm their party (Democrat) and pull off the mask of bipartisanship). But when Trump is out of office, then we do what has to be done. Cull the Republican party (if it even exists in 2028) of ALL RINOs even if it means temporarily losing the Senate.

I’ve posted this several times before. Mitch has his eyes set on a “legacy” of judicial appointments. I believe he would rather have 4 more years to build that “legacy” rather than allowed PT to be removed from office. That said, I also believe that Mitch is/has been using the impeachment as political weight to use against PT. When the impeachment is over and PT is re-elected, I hope he burns it all to the ground.

However in this instance, my two cents worth is that PDJT wants this trial, and I know that an “ accused” should never take the stand. That said.

What would the T.V. ratings be for PDJTs under oath testimony.

Tens of millions of Americans, and hundreds of millions of folks in every corner of the globe would be glued to their sets.

Going scorched earth sounds all well and good, and it may be long overdue, but we the people don’t have a vote in the Senate. This is the perfect establishment platform to stick it to Trump while maintaining a pretense of highminded non-partisanship.

      • Really, the only thing that they want to establish is that Secs. 1.9.3 and 1.10.1 are not, in fact, enforceable parts of the US Constitution. Bills of Attainder can be written, and are acceptable to the Senate. Both the President and Justices will become toadies who serve at the pleasure of Congress, knowing that if they do anything unpopular they will be removed from office for “offenses” produced solely by the House. It doesn’t matter whether the accused would, in fact, face “indictment, trial, conviction and punishment” in any Court. You have no legal rights … we don’t like you, therefore we throw you out. Just because we found out that we could.

As our Founders clearly foresaw, there will be no end to the mischief, and tyranny, that this produces. The concept of “checks and balances” is gone. And, once it is gone, it will never come back.

Seems there is a bit of a struggle in the Senate behind the scene on the impeachment show. I am not in favor of a long trial due to how many more times the Dems will get to lie in front of the cameras. But the real issue is how much this will be costing we the people in tax dollars on top of what the House just wasted to begin this whole sham. Of course, then add in wasted man hours and days that the Senate will be consumed with this. All for a complete political scam. There is not one benefit to the country from any of this garbage.

If Bill Clinton got no trial, PT should get the same decision as he really hasn’t committed any crimes that would qualify for impeachment. We all know that. Difference is the Dems stuck together re Clinton and the repubs will not do it. They want this complete charade to continue because amongst the repubs are the RINO Senators who dislike PT immensely for their own personal reasons. I just don’t trust any of them, not the msm, and especially not CJ Roberts.

PT is innocent and should be able to quickly put this all behind him before being re-elected. Whether he gets a fair trial or not remains to be seen.

What have I been screaming about for the last 4 weeks? Nancy leveraging the Senate, McConnell letting her, and by extension, the Legislative Branch is leveraging the Executive Branch. McConnell should not have allowed Nancy to hold onto the articles. The fact he did tells you everything. He used the Mamet principle in regards to whether or not the Senate has the power to try without the House sending them over. “I dont think so.” he said. TIME magazine says that Nancy go the idea from “Dean” on CNN one day. Well HE got the idea from Larry Tribe in JUNE. Everything thats been happening is laid out in Tribe’s articles.

McConnell JUST said that “51 Senators will decide on the witnesses.”

Blount just said that “We dont have 51 Senators to dismiss.”

So the same 51+ Senators who think that this COUP should proceed will be deciding on the witness list.

Great, yeah, sounds good. Im so confident Trump will get a fair trial in the Senate. I will hold my breath until I hear Hunter Biden on the witness stand.

      Mark Meadows knows whats up….

“Republican Senators will be taken to the cleaners if they think this is going to be a fair process. It wasn’t fair in the House. It won’t be fair in the Senate.” – Mark Meadows

The only problem is there is a handful of Republican Senators that WANT to be taken to the cleaners AND will vote to be taken to the cleaners along with the Dem Senators who of course will and BOOM you have a nationally broadcast impeachment trial in the senate of the President that

And Hunter Biden and Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden will be NOWHERE NEAR THE WITNESS STAND.

Fair trial refers to a judicial proceeding. The upcoming trial is political. No use of the word ‘fair’ for a Senate impeachment trial in the Constitution. There better not be a fair trial in the Senate, it should be a one-sided pasting of the articles of impeachment and the House leaders who rammed it through.

      • Jim in TN says:

It is also not a jury trial. Despite all the nonsense spewed about Senators being jurors. The constitution explicitly exempts impeachment from the right to trial by jury.

Since I plainly see them doing absolutely nothing except campaigning, I know that both of them would likewise do absolutely nothing in the White House. Lots of people who are campaigning like to pretend that the President has the power to do what they’re promising the public. But, (s)he does not. Power is vested in the Congress … where they are right now.

You’re obviously correct, the D Senators seeking the nomination could introduce legislation to implement their evil little plans. Of course we’re pretty darn sure it wouldn’t fly, not even get off the ground in the Senate. Even the Dems not running for President don’t want to try it and will make sure the crazy ideas never make it out of committee.

However Presidents can also send legislation to Congress for consideration. Such bills can be politely ignored, simply assigned to committee and never seeing the light of day.

Presidential candidates talk like they can put their psychotic plans into effect just because they want it. They know better but gotta impress the “base” with what they want to hear. Candidates seldom say it’s a long road from proposal to actual law.

So once again we see empty, unachievable promises which are pandering to some talking-head talking-point or another. You’re supposed to elect this person based on the promise, and to assume that this person has both the willingness and the authority to do it. After the inauguration, nothing happens.

We have seen this nonsense before. With every President until Donald Trump. Who was the very first one to only promise what he could do, and to immediately do (and, continue to do …) what he promised.

If Warren & Sanders actually wanted any of these things that they’re promising to occur, they would be using their present powers to try to make it happen. Not making toothless promises about what they’ll do when they don’t have these powers anymore.

It’s called “getting out front of the story”. Yep. You guessed it. Those wily RUSSIANS did it again. Biden is a victim. Anything you read or hear about his transgressions with Hunter in the Ukraine never happened. It was RUSSIAN disinformation to hurt Biden and help Trump. You have to admit that these people have no shame and with the help of the media will continue to pull each other out of the fire with one crazy story after another. They never give up or give in.

The Democrats have a problem. If the Russians really hacked Burisma’s servers and found evidence against the Bidens, the Dems needs to pick one to designate as fake news, the hacking or the evidence. Why hack if there’s nothing to find?

      Liked by 1 person

      • “The Russians” don’t need to “hack servers” in order to find evidence against the Bidens. The Ukranian government is doing it already. Plus, Biden provided the evidence himself: when he boasted of forcing the prosecutor to be fired, he broke American law and implicated the President while doing so.

But the corruption was so bad and so blatant that everyone in the room just laughed along with him . . .

    – fits in one screen shot.
    – brief!
    – digestible & focused.

Forty or 50 items is too much for 99% of people to follow.

BTW, this looks to be a great thread by Pasquale “Pat” Scopelliti, Gen Flynn volunteer, I just don’t have time right now to read them. Top 10 List by Barbara Flynn.

It was during the interviews with Mueller’s camp that images of child pornography were discovered on his phone.

He still faces charges in federal court for conspiring to funnel $3.5 million in illegal campaign contributions to presidential candidates through political committees.”

“Franken then asked O’Donnell if defending Trump means “you have to lie.” O’Donnell said “absolutely you do” because that’s the only way to “defend a liar.” He continued to bash CNN, saying that the network “has people on the payroll who they pay to tell their lies” to the audience.

“How else do you defend a liar — a pathological liar who lies about everything? You have to lie.” O’Donnell said. “So CNN has people on the payroll who they pay to tell their lies to the CNN audience in the middle of a CNN hour for some number of minutes.”

“And so Trump knows that if you watch CNN, ‘at least you’ll hear someone lying in my favor.’”

Author J.D. Gordon was a Senior National Security & Foreign Policy Advisor to Republican Presidential Candidates Donald Trump, Mike Huckabee and Herman Cain.

“If last year’s release of the 448-page Mueller Report on Russian interference in the 2016 election wasn’t big enough of a civil liberties violation against President Trump and dozens of associates for all its character assassination in search of crimes, the monthly sequels of witness interview summaries are even worse.

Now on its third edition, stemming from a CNN and BuzzFeed Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the Justice Department, even a cursory review of the documents released this month show falsehoods and defamation. The interviews are he-said, she-said allegations presented without evidence or rebuttal.”

“The key takeaway: If just one person got it so wrong, what about the other 500 Mueller witnesses including those with more axes to grind or worse memories? How many people are they defaming, and how severely? Unless DoJ and the courts fix this travesty, we’ll see more “death by a thousand cuts” against President Trump and his team, past and present.

Attorney General Barr should immediately seek to halt further releases of Mueller testimonies and end this massive violation of civil liberties.

It’s un-American and needs to be stopped.”

  42. Bogeyfree says:

    The drifting is starting……………..

First the Senate Republicans said they must dismiss this sham of an impeachment.

Now they are saying they must listen to their members who want to hear from witnesses

Next it will we will here from witnesses except, Biden, Hunter, Shifty, Pelosi, the ICIG, and possibly the WB

And in the end we will get 20 RINO’s who felt compelled to vote for Impeachment

And thus the DOJ will NEVER EVER have to expose a thing to the American people of the two coups upon a sitting President of the United States.

      • All you need to eliminate a President is two Bills of Attainder back-to-back.

Once you’ve established that Sec. 1.9.3 will not be enforced, the President and the Supreme Court serve at the pleasure of Congress, which can remove either of them from office for no crime at all. “We just don’t like you. You vetoed a bill we wanted. You declared something to be unconstitutional and we didn’t want you to. We don’t think we can defeat you in the next election.”

Soon thereafter it will get worse. An early English King used attainder to have 2,500 of his enemies executed. Since attainder is not conducted through the Courts, the Courts cannot overturn them. If Congress wants you to die, it can simply pass a Bill of Attainder that carries the penalty of death. And nothing in the actual Constitution of the United States actually prohibits Bills of Attainder because the Congress simply decided for itself … House and then Senate … that it didn’t. And no one stepped forward to prevent it.

As Queen Amadala (George Lucas) quipped in a Star Wars movie: “That’s how liberty dies … to thunderous applause.”
