A poll was taken last night in the MB Super Dome–not a measly TV network sampling of 500-1000 people, but an impressive sampling of tens of thousands. Poll results were overwhelming! At least 90% “Strongly Approve” rating for President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.

Last night the American people got to sit at the news desk in front of a microphone and say what they think of our President and his job performance. What a difference it makes when the truth is told and real people get to have their say.

Congrats LSU, congrats to our First Couple, and let’s go Team America–all the way to our political national championship, to win Four More Years!

sign me up on the super sap list…we LOVED it here in Louisiana….we could not have had a better moment to set this epic game tonight…And here’s the thing…the President showed up to show his respect for this event. He didn’t big foot it…didn’t make this about him…You have to really admire this…to be subtle….and then step aside…that shows class and intelligence. And we really really really love that old fashioned good nature here in DA BAYOU…!

I loved it too, especially USA USA USA.

However, it seemed to me that First Lady Melania was not herself. She seemed awkward Also, stood a distance away from PT, perhaps for security reasons. Awkward or not, she is one beautiful and classy lady.

The Barry Soetoro was interviewed at the MLB All-Star game and said he attended baseball games at “Cominskey Field” many times when he lived in Chicago.

I can’t recall the interviewer–might have been Bob Costas–let his error pass, didn’t tell “sports lover” Soetoro that it seemed odd he wouldn’t know, as a baseball fan AND a long-time Chicago resident–that the name of the famed site of the White Sox, who had just recently won a World Series, was COMISKEY PARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The media didn’t touch that, just as they didn’t touch this Harvard Law grad’s mispronunciation of Navy “corpsman” as “corpse-man”. Really? Supposedly a “reader”?

For years, Donald Trump’s personal lawyer was Roy Cohn. The same Roy Cohn has previously served as Senator Joe McCarthy’s lead attorney in the famous hearings.

There is a FBI vault file on Roy Cohn. Reading through it, my impression was that he was pursued legally for several years and even indicted on charges for which he was eventually acquitted.

perspective: last time LSU produced a heisman trophy player…Billy Cannon, 1959….

they retired Billy Cannon’s number. I think they will do the same for Joe Burrow jersey too. (just praying he can stay out of the counterfeiting

other perspective: 60 TD passes in a single season…he owns the record now. and…5,549 season total…..not a record, but right up there with the greatest that ever played the college game. Brennan Colt, the former record holder for most pass TD in a season…was put it into perspective this: Brennan set his record in 14 games; Burrow is playing his 15th on Monday night. But Brennan also threw 559 passes in 2006 when he set the record. Burrow’s 58th TD of the 2019-20 season came on his 508th pass.

we call that efficiency with a capitol TIGERS!

    • Bruce Fauth says:

But considering the level of competition Burrow played against being (IMHO) miles above Brennan’s, it makes Burrow’s accomplishments even more impressive

      • zekness says:

        no doubt about it…

when you play SEC teams at this level, particularly this season gamers….it’s impossible to ignore the spectacular weight of the significance of these numbers.

He’ll go down as one of the best every in college ball.

We love us some great ball….I think we will be talking about this year and this LSU team for decades as one of the finest teams to every step out on the field.

Orgeron noted the president’s support for LSU during a post-game interview, explaining, “I’m so proud of the state of Louisiana — we’ve had support from the governor, from the president, from everybody that follows LSU.”…“I was very honored to get a call from President Trump,” Orgeron said in late December. “He was very pleasant to talk to. Very complimentary of our football team, our coaching staff. Complimentary of the way the state of Louisiana has rallied around us. Was complimentary of the way we played all year and wished us good luck in the game.”
