This is a good battle cry and I agree we need to get out the vote big time!

But this does not negate the need to take solemn measures to prevent voter fraud at any level.

Ye old; “If you can figure out how to cheat an inch, you can probably figure out how to cheat a mile” axiom might come into play. How would we truly know in today’s all out political scrimmage?

          • Paprika- we have to be prepared on ALL fronts! NY is now giving DRIVERS LICENSES to illegals, along with a dozen other states.
It is now easier for the invaders to get a license than it is for a native New Yorker to get the enhanced license.
And their licenses are also voter registration.
How convenient. Hoping and praying that our President Trump’s team is on this big time.

Well they surely will try, just as they did in 2016 and every other election for at least a decade or two.
However they have there greatest success in counties that they control and would vote D anyway.
Now it elections were decided by popular vote, well that would be a whole different thing.
Which is precisely why democrats want that to happen.

I always believed the election was stolen from ME, all the other Walker voters and Scott Walker himself. Walker was winning until a whole boatload of votes turned up in, I believe, Milwaukee county. Evers stole this election and democrats stole the House of Representatives by voter fraud especially in California.

Walker ran a very lackluster campaign, my husband commented that he didn’t think Walker wanted to win.

The Supreme Court victory margin showed that the GOP didn’t get out the vote for the governor race.

Take all the fraud out of 2 counties (Milwaukee and Dane counties) and dems would never win a Wisconsin election again.

These people either filed address changes with the post office or registered vehicles at a different address.
But that doesn’t automatically remove them. The letters were to sent to check. By not responding or having the letter returned undeliverable the voters are to be removed from the rolls. (If you respond, they follow your direction.)
And for some reason, the agency decided not to follow the law to remove them in a timely fashion, so the judge ordered them to follow the law. (They were going to wait until 2021.)
And nothing stops people from registering anew.

I posed a question (in substance) on the earlier thread “Supreme Court Will Take Up Trump Financial Records and Tax Cases – Consolidated All Cases and Granted Writ…”

It probably better belongs here. I would definitely appreciate any info / light SD(s) and Treepers can render. TIA

My question is: Does anyone have any insight into the case that appears immediately above this one on the SCOTUS docket, USAID, et al v. Alliance for Open Society Int’l, et al. 19-177?

That looks like it truthfully could be “US State Dept Dark Money Piggybank v. George Soros, et al”. If so, discovery could be a huge stinkin’ deal.

    • cboldt says:

No discovery by the time it reaches SCOTUS
      Might be a spin-off of …
Decision below this one is at 911 F.3d 104. Question presented is at

Respondents are United States-based organizations that receive federal funds to fight HIV/AIDS abroad. In Agency for International Development v. Alliance for Open Society International, Inc., 570 U.S. 205 (2013), this Court held that the First Amendment bars enforcement of Congress’s directive that respondents “have a policy explicitly opposing prostitution and sex trafficking” as a condition of accepting those funds. 22 U.S.C. 7631(f). The question presented is whether the First Amendment further bars enforcement of that directive with respect to legally distinct foreign entities operating overseas that are affiliated with respondents.

    • ristvan says:

Sherry, had to look it up. This is an extension of a case of same name decided by SCOTUS in 2013. It involves a 2003 act of congress providing third world HIV funding to US based charitable organizations. The Executive placed a funding ‘policy provision’ that the recipient organizations expressly have charter provisions against prostitution and sex trafficking (obviously HIV related). The organizations sued to remove the ‘policy provision’ (says something negative about them). SCOTUS held that the USAID policy provision violated their first amendment speech rights. Sounds nuts, but was 6-2. Have not read it.

This case is merely an extension. The Executive (USAID under Obama) decided that the 2013 ruling does NOT apply to their legally separate foreign affiliates who eventually spend the USAID HIV money. The same organizations sued again, (hence same case name) and lost. They have taken it to SCOTUS where cert was granted (IMO properly). The issue is narrow—whether the US Bill of Rights applies to foreign affiliates of US organizations whose only US nexus is USAID money originally given their US ‘parent’. Put differently, can US policy strings be attached to USAID spending overseas?

Great timely catch!! For slow readers, my summary:

“The essence of a coup, which some might refer to as covert action, is the hidden hand. One does not announce that a foreign power is overthrowing the government and installing a new government. One pulls strings as if from behind a curtain, making events that are all part of a carefully orchestrated plan appear disconnected, spontaneous and serendipitous.

As I read through the recently released IG report for the second time, as someone with a great deal of experience in military and intelligence matters, I see that hand everywhere.

Per the IG report, a single report is delivered to the FBI in the summer of 2016. It concerns a meeting between a cooperative contact of a foreign intelligence service and a junior level employee of the Trump campaign, George Papadopoulos.

This one report from a foreign intelligence service goes directly to the top of the FBI. The Director himself, James Comey is briefed. A full investigation is launched. Multiple confidential human sources are tasked. Wiretaps are ordered. A task force is organized. Crossfire Hurricane is born.”

BE ADVISED: OANN (One America News Network) is airing all of Chanel Rion’s (with Giuliani) 3 part series in which Ukranians detail DNC collusion with Ukraine in the 2016 presidential election and their efforts to make it known to U.S.DoState. The Morgan bank records documenting Hunter Biden transactions are also covered in the series – the entries are clearly shown. Not to be missed. I’ve yet to see anything on this as comprehensive as this OANN series. Find your channel/s here: It’s to be aired again tonight (Saturday) and also twice tomorrow (Sunday). Yuriy Lutsenko on Yovonovitch cut is here, but the series reveals much more.

Rudy probably had two or three “mainstream” outlets to go through… and of those, OAN probably has the biggest reach. CNN, MSNBC, Dems, et al. will denounce this as “Debunked Conspiracy Theories from a Trump Propaganda Network”… which, ironically, only legitimizes the reporting. Because They will go after OAN and its owner and its staff by name, not try to dispute the information itself.

Two things from The Bright Side:
1.) OAN has The President’s ears and eyes
2.) Given #1, and in the context of the very public legal onslaught against The President, it would be a real shame if all of this Giuliani/OAN stuff were to get even more exposure via Senate trial — Giuliani will see to it

If #2 happens, it will have the “Hunter Biden Effect” on Impeachment and the Dems as a whole. As in: “well, that didn’t exactly go as planned!”.

At the end of the day: anyone and everyone is free to dispute the documentary and testimonial evidence. We’ll see who steps up to the plate. (he said sarcastically)

      Two reasons, in my opinion.
First, there are daily flights on the majors to every major western city.

PC, impossible to say. Depends on what sort of criminal cases Durham is working up.
We know there are individual Nunes referrals (Comey on false attestation 18USC1018) and Nunes conspiracy referrals (18USC242 against Carter Page) that cast a broad net. McCabe was referred for perjury before being fired. We know Barr and Durham think the EC predicate was bogus, hence criminal.

But we don’t know the underlying evidence. My view is that it is better to hammer the perps in courts of law rather than in courts of public opinion, especially given fake news biases.

No declass on Sundance’ list will derail the House impeachment vote, nor could it ever have, because is based on Ukraine call July 25 and that transcript was released.

Sundance does not think there will be notable prosecutions. Ristvan offers that, while being a slow process, prosecutions will occur. We all form conclusions from the same pool of evidence. The problem is that all civility is lost once somebody takes it upon themselves to shout that their opinion is right or somebody else’s opinion is wrong, or both.

Hopefully I haven’t triggered somebody for saying this much.

    Okay, so thinking legally here…

It seems like Comey, McCabe, Mueller, Stzrok, Page, Clinesmith, Rosenstein, and ALL the rest have not only broken numerous criminal laws, but Mueller’s team defrauded US taxpayers out of tens of millions of dollars.

Can’t citizens sue Mueller now for defrauding US taxpayers? In the discovery phase, we’d like to see every single communication between Mueller’s entire team related to any portion of their investigation, Donald Trump, or anyone on his campaign. If Mueller knew, and he did early on, that this was a sham, and continued to investigate, he intentionally stole US taxpayer money.

In fact, ALL of the bad players would be liable.

Even if for some reason Durham doesn’t come through, US citizens should have a means of attaching some hefty and personally bankrupting costs to their crimes.

IMO, there is a trap being set. But it’s not exactly the one McKinnon is laying out in his piece. Still, glad he wrote this because (with impeachment done in the House) it’s time to stop taking the Senate trial for granted.

The game was afoot as soon as Dems started criticizing Mitch for saying he was going to coordinate with the White House on the trial. Now their astroturf efforts are going to go to shaping the set up of the trial.

All of us want POTUS fully exonerated in the Ukraine Hoax. However, I am now leaning towards wanting a short trial with no witnesses rather than having people like Hunter Biden called to testify.

The longer the trial goes on, the more the media can take soundbytes from it to harm POTUS’ standing. And there is a chance that the Dems could call witnesses they were not able to get in the House, people like Mulvaney, Rudy and so forth.

Even if POTUS is utterly exonerated at the end of the trial, the media will focus on the “new” information given by Mulvaney, Rudy, etc to hurt POTUS. And so a trap had been set and achieved, which is to further weaken POTUS for the election.

The larger trap now is clear, as set up by Dems and the media — either Mitch does a “fair” (Dem rules) trial, or else POTUS isn’t really exonerated. And doing a “fair” trial leads POTUS into the true trap.

It is my belief that the Dems will gladly sacrifice BIden to hurt POTUS for 2020. That’s why Bloomberg and Patrick entered the race, as Biden falters. Biden is down to a single-digit lead in South Carolina now, which was going to be his firewall. He’s falling apart.

If Biden has to get torched in a Senate trial so that POTUS is made weaker for 2020, all good for the Dems. The plan is to dirty POTUS up enough, and then bring in some “pristine, untouched” entity to run as the “anti-corrupt Trump.” Hence Bloomberg and Patrick.

It sounds like Rudy has a bunch of things he’s waiting to drop on Ukraine, and likely Biden. Get the trial over ASAP and then take it from there, in my opinion. Don’t allow the media or the Dems to alter the parameters of the trial. Mitch should handle it just as the Dems handled the impeachment process in the House. No bending.

      • MakeAmericaGreat says:

Just to be clear — I don’t think there is any chance POTUS is getting removed (as McKinnon seems to think may be the “trap” here). I think the real danger is the amount of damage that can be done to POTUS for 2020 in an extended, Dems-call-witnesses trial.

Just as Liz Warren forfeited her credibility by shoplifting the Native American affirmative action, cluelessly trying to hang on by proving her 1024th part DNA, while denying she ever benefitted, before finally realizing she really needed to apologize, but was genuinely shocked when African American women were hostile, the repeated screams of “racist, misogynist, White Supremists, etc.,” will backfire bigly among the people who really know those traits and see what President Trump is doing every day for the working class of all stripes.

    Twas the Night …

Twas the night of impeachment, and all through the House
The members were stirring .. starting to verbally joust.
The podium was polished, gavel ready to pound,
In dems’ hopes that their scheming would soon bring Trump down.

Pelosi in her pantsuit and Nadler in his tent
Squad in rapt attention at this long-awaited event.
As the Speaker stepped up and pounded the gavel
Joy overtook her … her “somber act” did unravel.

While visions of glory danced in her head,
Schiff and Nadler beside her, the Articles she read.
With a face shining bright and a heart filled with glee,
She began the final vote for this contrived victory.

Only dems voted “Aye,” most too fearful to stray,
Republicans stood united and all voted “Nay.”
The majority carried, but their victory rang hollow …
A totally partisan vote would be too hard to swallow.

Then back at the door, there arose such a racket,
As Melania entered, in her “I Don’t Care” jacket.
Right behind her was Trump, sporting a bright red tie,
And they flew down the aisle in the blink of an eye ..

Bearing gifts for the dems, with beautiful red bows ..
They were lumps of coal … wrapped in the latest polls!!
Trump had surged in those polls, with the dems losing big
‘Cause Folks saw the injustice … that the outcome was rigged.

On Pelosi, On Nadler, On Schiff and On Others
Lay the blame for dems’ failure to accept voters’ druthers.
Then quick as a wink, the Trumps headed out,
Their smiles beaming bright among Republicans’ shouts.

And they heard Trump exclaim as he sped out the door,
“The People of this country are deserving of more!!
This is the best gift of all, and this act they’ll remember
When we win in a landslide, thanks to YOU, next November!!!”
