Gird your loins, this going to a day of “you tell your truth and we’ll tell ours.” The IG report has no teeth in a practical matter. But it does have a chance of helping save the savable.

If a percentage of the mentally stunted left begin to understand that the very thing that they’ve screamed about for 50+ years, an out of control, militaristic, police state, etc is exactly what the democrats and the uni party have become.

Liberal projection. For the hard left, 15-20% of the population, a police state is exactly what they wanted. They envy the East German Stasi, KGB, Mao’s and Stalin’s purges. The ruthlessness of Pol-Pot and Che and the loud mouth of a Hugo Chavez who fearlessly led Venezuela back into the third world.

All of the MSM will be in Protect Mode without exception. They will spin how innocuous what these brave “public servants” did to thwart the evil Orange Man. I recommend not watching. The IG Horowitz will make recommendations and draw absurd conclusion of “intent.” He’s a life long swamp rat and relishes his job as a deep state whitewasher and will act accordingly.

KAG! …be cool, hang tough and be prepared.

Totally agree. Conservatives degrading conservative voices only assist the enemy in “divide and conquer”. The complainers do more harm than good. A strong conservative can discern the weakness of conservative voices, but a weak conservative can’t and might fall away.

What makes them the best? That they give voice to your emotions? OK, there is a place for that.

However, Hannity steps on his guest’s visits, he never pursues truth just looks for anything to confirm his own theories, which are often just nonsense. NOBODY on this planet needs to hear the word bleachbit again.

It is ludicrous to leave morons in key places when we need bright minds in those spots. Hannity has a MAGA heart but a MINI brain.

I am amazed so often that people think that sharing our values is ENOUGH to be considered an expert or competent. While it is ESSENTIAL it isnt good enough. We need smart people as well.

Next thing that will be the rage is to get everyone to send $$$ to George P.’s campaign for Congress committee just because DeepState went after him.

We need BRIGHT minds and PATRIOT hearts leading and speaking for us. Not egomaniacs who are fixated on ratings and views rather than winning this battle we are in.

Quarterly polling by the Republican firm Firehouse Strategies, with Optimus, had President Trump struggling in the mega-battlegrounds of Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin — but in the newest edition, he beats every Democrat.

The big picture: Trump won by an average of six percentage points in hypothetical match-ups against all current Democratic candidates, including Joe Biden, who was performing well in head-to-head contests against Trump in polling conducted earlier in the year.

The poll found that a majority of likely 2020 voters surveyed do not support impeaching and removing Trump from office.

    1) I have the greatest array of snacks for reading the IG report. I have bite-sized Tostitos with co-jack mix shredded cheese to melt on top. Also Ruffles and french onion dip. Ginger cookies. Various cereals. Yah baby.

    2) I’m wondering if Biden became a candidate in order to prevent his Ukraine-related corruption from coming to light. Check out the timeline:

Feb 2019 Zelensky is polling well and is a real threat to Poroshenko

late Feb 2019 Media reports Biden is “very close” to deciding if he’ll run for President

(IMO Biden is feeling threatened at this point, his pal Poroshenko might lose and the Bidens’ corruption might be revealed by Zelensky)

Mar 31 2019 Ukraine holds election, Zelensky and Porshenko are top two but neither does well enough to be declared the winner so they advance to a runoff

(IMO Biden is absolutely sweating at this point! He needs an insurance policy, stat!)

Apr 21 2019 Zelensky wins the runoff election and becomes President

Apr 21 2019 Trump has first phone call with Zelensky congratulating him on his win

Apr 25 2019 Biden announces his candidacy

(IMO the traitors develop a plan. They can scrutinize Trump’s future communications with Zelensky and any mention of the Bidens, explicit or implicit, can be twisted as evidence of an attempt by Trump to seek Ukraine help to take out his 2020 election competition.)

Jul 25 2019 Trump has second phone call with Zelensky and mentions the Bidens

(There we go. The traitors hustle to fill in details in their already-created complaint letter to be submitted by their already-chosen fake whistleblower stooge.)

So it was a slow morning in the Jiffy Lube today and the manager comes in to the waiting room and asks me if he can change the channel on the TV. He flipped around and landed on the impeachment hearings, and quickly glanced over at me, so I said, “Don’t put that nonsense on!” and so he flipped some more landing on a sitcom. Almost under his breath, he says to me, “You a Trump fan?” I inhaled sharply, lifted my chin, looked him right in the eye, and said, “I am.” And then I waited. I mean they had my car. Who knew where this guy stood? But I knew I was safe when he smiled broadly, and said, “Trump 2020 man! He’s the best!”

He went on to tell me that only 3 guys in the shop are Trump fans. Several of the others are convinced Trump’s racist, even though, despite his requests for proof, they can’t point to anything specific I really enjoyed our conversation and found it informative. I had surmised over the summer (from my TDS relatives) that abuse of power was going to be the charge that the NPR-loving elites were going to be screaming. And sure enough, with that groundwork having been laid, that is what the mainstream media is trying to convince America of during these impeachment hearings. Today I heard from the Jiffy Lube guy that there’s a fear among the workers in his shop (who are predominantly Black) that Donald Trump wants to take away food stamps and other welfare. I suspect the groundwork is being laid now by the preachers and social workers. I am willing to bet money that food stamp fear is the tack the libs will use to try to keep the working poor on the Dem plantation.

  24. Ultimately, “the swamp” will never be drained in the press. It must be drained in the court of law. To the entirety of Washington, DC, this sort of corruption is “nothing unusual.” Just par for the course. Just what you’re entitled to do by virtue of being elected to office or appointed to a high government position. In the end, they must face criminal charges. Nothing less will suffice.

That’s a good thing that we should not overlook.

We have to help drain the swamp by stopping electing or re-electing bad people. Trump can’t do everything by himself, and when we gave away the House majority to the Dems we hurt him. We have to fix our voting. Vote in a block, straight GOP in November 2020.

    • As Sen. Graham (and, everybody else) perfectly well knows, what the House is attempting is called a “Bill of Attainder,” and it is expressly prohibited in our Constitution … twice!

Our Founders explicitly rejected “maladministration” as a cause for impeachment, and specifically demanded “high crimes.” That is to say, real ones. The text of the clause makes it immediately apparent that the accused will(!) face “indictment, trial, conviction and punishment,” for actual crimes, at the hands of the actual courts. Congress does not have the judicial power to declare that someone has broken one of the laws that they make. This separation of power was done on purpose.

  32. Excellent recent article describing the issue of attainder:

    Fraudulent Impeachment is Unlawful Attainder
    https://www.thepostemail.com/2019/12/04/fraudulent-impeachment-is-unconstitutional-attainder-law-professor-victor-williams-submits-testimony-challenging-anti-trump-academics-at-house-judiciary-hearing/

While “fake” and “sham” and “bogus” are accurate-enough adjectives for the ongoing House punishing ordeal directed against Trump, the descriptor “fraudulent” has both legal truth and constitutional consequences. Legal fraud is defined as “an intentional perversion of truth in order to induce another to surrender a legal right.” President Trump has not committed “bribery” nor any other “high crime” or “misdemeanor.” The so-called impeachment inquiry has no legal justification.
It is for the sake of all future presidents that the House’s fraudulent impeachment must be exposed as an unconstitutional attainder.

Anti-Trump professors and DC swamp greybeards are wrong to assert that House impeachment is immune from constitutional inspection. The fraudulent ordeal being lodged against Trump begs for a de facto (“by practice”) attainder analysis. In Federalist Paper 65, Alexander Hamilton warned that impeachment should never be corrupted to be a test of “the comparative strength of parties.” Doing far worse, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her rouges’ gallery of biased committee chairs violate the Constitution’s attainder ban.

  36. A second excellent article on Attainder:

    Impeachment based on Improper Motives
    https://reason.com/2019/12/08/impeachment-based-on-improper-motives/

impeachment for an “abuse of power” based solely on “corrupt” intent gives Presidents no notice, whatsoever, of what is expected of them. There is a nearly infinite range of conduct that can fall within this category. The House report explains, “[t]here are at least as many ways to abuse power as there are powers vested in the President.” Virtually anything the President does can give rise to impeachment if a majority of Congress thinks he had an improper intent. […] I see little difference between “maladministration” and the allegations here: President Trump engaged in an “abuse of power” based on a “corrupt” intent, where there is no clearly identified offense. Such a capacious standard fails to accord with any notions of fairness for the accused, and risks transforming impeachment into an inescapable feature of our political order.

    President Trump is right.

How many times must we have to read about stuff like this…: 2,419 American soldiers killed in Afghanistan…20,000 wounded.

“We were devoid of a fundamental understanding of Afghanistan — we didn’t know what we were doing,” said Douglas Lute, a retired three-star Army general who helped the White House oversee the war in Afghanistan in both the Bush and Obama administrations.

“What are we trying to do here? We didn’t have the foggiest notion of what we were undertaking,” he told government interviewers in 2015.

“Afghanistan is where empires go to die”

Over an 80-year period, the British fought three wars in Afghanistan, occupying or controlling the country in between, and lost tens of thousands of dead along the way. Finally, exhausted by the First World War, Britain gave up in 1919 and granted Afghanistan independence.

The Soviets invaded in 1979 to try to quell a brewing civil war and prop up its allies in the Afghan government, and they limped out in 1989. The Soviets suffered some 15,000 dead and many more injured.

This is an important twitter thread, in sequence, of the interviews of OANN, Giuliani and the various Ukranian officials. I believe there will be more to come, and a huge hat-tip to Shannon twitter.

My jaw dropped while watching each subsequent clip because I recognized the format of the scheme (from having successfully survived past experiences) but this is so huge, on such an international scale, that was being run out of Ukraine to derail candidate, then President, Trump that I am starting to believe that (a) all of Mayor Giuliani’s experiences as prosecutor and mayor was in order to prepare him for this day and (b) same with President Trump, all his life experiences in business and media were to prepare him for this day.

I’m gobsmacked at the size of this evil about to be uncovered, am no longer concerned about being worried by the side-shows of the impeachment, media bias, FISA reports, Durham investigations, anything, because from experience, once the Light of Truth hits, there is no hiding under the bushel basket. The Light of Christ works like that. President Trump’s “we got them all” is ringing in my heart.

Anyway, that’s how watching this twitter thread affected this branch of the Treehouse:

“So, you see, we have two narratives at war in America:

    the Resistance story aimed at shoving Mr. Trump out of the White House by any means necessary, including a siege engine of untruth based on bad faith;

and Mr. Trump’s story that he has been unfairly and unjustly subject to seditious mutiny by several federal agencies, dedicated to crippling his executive function at least and levering him out of office at most.

The two stories can be reconciled in courts of law and the court of public opinion. There’s polling evidence that the Resistance is losing in the latter, as it over-estimated the public’s appetite for official dishonesty. The courts of law await further down the road. ”
