Like the pussy hats? I was not at all impressed. I think a volume of millions of letters or even postcards to the politicians would be more effective and lots less expensive if it is meant to alert the politicians we are watching! Organize a date…..create a form letter….ask each Trump supporter to mail one to every Democrat in office on the given date. Could even post the names in printer friendly format, Then ask the post office for the volume posted.

    • I would like to know the precise details surrounding the identity of the last person to allegedly speak to Trayvon Martin.

At the time of the trial, phone records appeared to show that Rachel Jeantel was the only person he talked to during his walk from the convenience store back to Brandy’s apartment. BUT, those phone records (number and timing of calls) PROVED Rachel perjured herself. The number of hang-ups and disconnects did not align with her retelling of their conversations, and would have made it impossible for her to have overheard GZ as she claimed.

Rachel was an imposter put on the stand because her real half sister, Martin’s real girlfriend/hooker, would not lie for the prosecution. Martin’s parents and the prosecutors all knew. SD covered this extensively.

        • Rachel certainly was a fraud, but there was never any positive proof that she was constructed to replace a real person. Just a lot of conjecture. The “DeeDee” character was constructed by BDLR and Crump to keep Rachel out of reach from George’s defense team, and from any reporters who might remain objective enough to challenge her lies. That’s why I want to see the specific claims made in George’s suit.

Just seeing Rachel walk into the courtroom was enough to convince me that SHE was never a serious love-interest of Trayvon Martin. (Heck, she wouldn’t even qualify as his “B Girl)

Which left the question about the TRUE NATURE of their “friendship”

At the time, it was suggested that she was his legally licensed chauffeur, and perhaps a part of his circle of Dopers. Supplier? Customer? Distributor? Was Trayvon TRACY’s employee, and his friends part of a distribution network? Dunno.

          BUT

I never heard that there was (possibly) a totally different person on the phone with TM the night he attempted to murder GZ, only that Rachel lied about just about everything

But…if they do impeach, they will invite that very investigation to happen in full public view

The very day President Trump learned of their script for this latest coup attempt, he warned the democrats not to go down that road, but they wouldn’t listen now, would they?

      • Those tweets echo exactly what I said just yesterday:

As leader of the executive branch AND America’s TOP authority in foreign affairs, a POTUS is DUTY-BOUND to press for investigations of wrongdoing by American officials, past and present, ESPECIALLY when graft, kickbacks, or influence -peddling is suspected, and the cooperation of foreign governments may be required.

What better way to GET that cooperation from a corrupted government, than to leverage aid that Congress had already approved? AND, though Congress has the “Power of the Purse” it is the Administrative Branch that actually releases the cash, and the Separation of Powers means that the POTUS is NOT like an errand boy sent to the corner store by Congress.

He actually DOES have the authority to say ” Whoa! Wait a minute! I know this expenditure is approved and authorized, but is it still prudent, or appropriate? Can we get more ‘Bang for our Buck’ if we ask for foreign cooperation to investigate possible corruption of the previous administration? ”

Just because Joe Biden HAPPENS to be a political rival, he does not have a “Get Out of Jail Free” card.

But, these revelations show WHY Dem Leaders want to redirect attention to RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA, fill the media with Impeachment News, and refuse to let voters make the final decision on election day 2020.

They CAN’T RISK more exposure of the corrupt system of foreign aid kickbacks.

Sure, Hunter didn’t do this in a vacuum, but there’s little more than circumstantial evidence to support the claim that Joe conspired WITH him prior to his taking that job. Better to just IMPLY it, and then cite specifics of how the Bidens and their cronies profited during and after the fact.

AND, if Rudy Giuliani ‘s morning tweets are any indication, there’s a LOT MORE $$$ involved than just the $83k/month salary Hunter received for his no-show job, and OTHER KEY PEOPLE (like our butt-hurt former Ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch) involved.

Stop itemizing and refuting their charges. Stop talking about the “perfect phone call.” Stop playing the defensive game.

Start attacking their core ideology, mission, intention. Start de-legitimizing them as historical liars and anti-American haters.

“I mean, going back and forth on the phone call is kind of futile. It’s a futile exercise, because it’s not gonna change the way the media and the Democrats are reporting it or talking about it.”

What “failed way of the past”? We’ve never even understood the Left much less fought them effectively. Look at the evidence. They’ve devoured our culture and politics, all the while boxing us into skirmishes over details as they march onward conquering swathes of ground. The only value in itemizing the issues is to expand the argument into an attack on their larger premises and objectives, their very identity. It is what they do to us constantly (“racists,” “white supremacists”, “-phobes”, etc.). Itemizing the issues turns us into caviling, defensive, whiners. Think bigger. That’s what Rush is saying.

Remember the Kavanaugh hearings? The wild unsubstantiated accusations? The histrionics? The comparison of Kavanaugh to Mr. H and worse? It changed maybe one vote. It’s Blues versus Greens now (chariot race factions from Roman Times). My side your side. The charges don’t matter, the law doesn’t matter. It’s raw power politics. You’re out and we’ll squish you mercilessly because if you’re in you’ll squish us mercilessly. That’s the Left’s playbook now. The Right isn’t using that playbook, yet. The UNiparty (hiding behind democrats at the moment) is always on the offensive. The RepubliCON half of the UNiparty, meanwhile, puts up a studiously weak defense. It is all *posturing,* and their talking points are scripted daily. Even the occasional bluster is built in (or permitted) for effect.

I know exactly how to cut through all this bull. Stop responding to their well-rehearsed, “4am talking points,” in which two sides of the same Uniparty pretend to face-off with each other. That is all theater.

Instead, hit each and every pundit, doesn’t matter who claims to be MAGA, hit them ALL with facts and assertions they don’t see coming. Close your ears and pop the clutch: Hit them between the eyes all day long, with every salient point that has studiously been avoided. Ignore the laser pointers and goTHERE.

Do NOT let them, ANY of them, EVER shape the daily narrative. Stay off script, improv, talk over them and nail these bastards to the wall. What if someone told you in the year 2000 that in 2019:

    1. The USA would be in its third year of a soft coup d’etat run by a crime ring that has had a stranglehold on the federal government for years, including embezzlement, pay-for-play, and probably much worse (illicit arms sales).

    2. The press would refuse to report on it but rather assist the coup by lying for it, causing half or more of Americans to be unaware of it.

    3. Donald Trump would be POTUS and would be leading the war against the crime ring.

It is very difficult to wrap one’s mind around the time we are living in. It is literally unbelievable. Historians will write about it for hundreds of years if the coup is defeated. There literally will still be doctoral dissertations written on it in the 22nd Century. If the coup succeeds, however, then perhaps historians will not. They will never know about it. The facts will be submerged.

I was looking to see who the judge was, who was involved in the case where Carter Page helped FBI spy on the Russians in New York. I was wondering if he may have subsequently been assigned to FISA court. He wasn’t (Judge Maas) involved with the FISA court. In fact, he retired in November 2016, just before the election.
I was reminded that Preet Bharara was US Attorney SDNY on this spy case.
I was surprised John Carlin was involved in this case as an FBI Counter Intelligence agent.
This case was plead out in March 2016. Carlin had to know Carter Page due to Page’s involvement as an undercover informant. Later, he moves to National Security Division. And we know what becomes of Carlin after that.
Probably old news, but it’s funny how the same names keep popping up.

There are indeed many of the same names/people that just keep resurfacing over and over again in examining our ‘run-away-government’ actions.

After I read about the arrests, I don’t know how many posts I wrote, then deleted. It’s not just anger at the shooter and his network (no such thing as a lone wolf jihadist…there’s always a network) or at their violent, deceptive conquest ideology they hide behind a thin religious veil. Islam is what it is. I expect jihad from them. It’s the highest of all Islam’s obligations. Sunni, Shia or one of their shared 72 sub-sects. Doesn’t matter. They all use the same 3 handbooks. Their differences and infighting are irrelevant to their shared prime directive to establish a world caliphate by the sword. That is always the motive, no matter what crime or insult the jihadist claims as justification (under shariah) to murder.

It’s the cold fury I have for our lying, arrogant, soft leather shod and designer slingback wearing elected and appointed officials who are responsible for knowing the truth, the full truth, about Islam and for doing their job to speak it and to keep it out of this country and for their intellectually lazy, by any means necessary, domestic activist parrots found in every aspect of our society. If they know the truth, they’re corrupt, treasonous accessories to murder and to making war on the U.S. Jihad is Islam’s never-ending holy war.

If these people don’t know the truth, they’re too stupid to be in any public office, classroom, courtroom, newsroom, boardroom, pulpit, grocery store, barn or outhouse. Their voluntary ignorance is a danger to us all, including to themselves. They’ve so clinically deranged they’ve simply elected to pretend they’re exempt from the consequences of their totalitarian Great Global Grab Folly.

I should probably delete this post too, but the “feelings” of none of the above matter. The families of the murdered, the wounded, you, all the people serving and employed there and all other victims of Islam’s mass psychosis and the demented infidels who aid and abet it, are the only ones who do.

The swamp has been trying to destroy the American spirit since Ronald Reagan. Remember the swamp used to giggle and refer to him as an amiable dunce (Clark Clifford). George Will supported Howard Baker called Reagan senile. George HW Bush called his financial plan Voodoo Economics aka Trickle Down. Directly led to an expanding economy for twenty years. Simpson-Mazzoli, the first amnesty in 1986 was a bad mistake. Reagan regretted it until the day he died. As we all know the promised security of the border did not happen, though it was fully funded at the time. Swamp rats lie

1988 we were sold at least 4 more years of Reagan and instead got “Read my lips no new taxes — NWO — *NAFTA — Thousand Points of light, dedicated swamp rat George HW Bush. Who then led the USA into the Middle East, “this aggression will not stand” where we’ve had American armies entrenched and giving their lives and wounded for thirty years. Spending $$Trillions$$ of dollars for what? The ME was a basket case then it’s a basket case today.

*NAFTA was passed in 94 by Clinton-Gingrich on a “bipartisan” vote. When the swamp goes bipartisan We The People get screwed.

1992 Ross Perot. Mr. Perot coined the phrase “that giant sucking sound” as he learned about the details of NAFTA he stepped forward to sound the alarm. He was exactly right about NAFTA it decimated American manufacturing. Killed off small towns throughout America. I know I owned a manufacturing facility at the time it took 6-7 years to kill us off 9-11 was the coup de grâce. The uniparty cranked up and destroyed this good man. Mr. Perot still garnered around 19% of the vote. This allowed Slick Willie to slide into the presidency with a mere plurality.

1994 The Contract with America. Newt Gingrich brilliantly led to a flipping of the house from democrat to Republican, after 40 years of democrat rule. This was a good counterbalance to Slick Willie who moderated his political stances so he could ostensibly govern. Sadly this gave us NAFTA. The NWO had finally delivered the mortal wound to American Manufacturing. Then this same duo gave us impeachment of Slick Willie for perjury and obstruction of justice. Of course it failed in the Senate, the cabal liked Slick Willie he was good for swamp business.

Note: Senator Phil Graham, Bob Rubin and Slick Willie garnered bipartisan support and ended Glass-Steagall leading to the explosion of derivative trading 30 to 1 that led directly to the crash of 2008. But don’t worry the swamp landed on it’s feet. To big to fail.

2000 and the contentious election of George W. Bush. He seemed like a decent man but he was immersed in the swamp ooze up to his chin. He was devout NWO globalist to his core, just like Dad. When 9-11 happened he dealt with things pretty well at first, but then comes nation building and Iraq, I believe the latter a clean up mission of unfinished business of his Dad in Gulf War I. We’ve been stuck in this sticky wicket for 20 years and still going on. By the way our Great President Trump publicly opposed GWI & II. In 2004 we had the opportunity to fix the border, he refused calling the invaders “Gods children” not caring a whit about American children. Then comes the crash of 2008 as the election was in full tilt. W gave us Quantitative Easing 1-2-3-4 on into Barry’s administration. Wonderful catch phrases like “we have to abandon capitalism to save it — too big to fail, etc” Once again the country suffered but the swamp landed on it’s feet.

*Let us not forget the idiot John McCain suspending his campaign to run back to the swamp and protect the right people. The only bright spot was Sarah Palin, a remarkable woman who the swamp hated and destroyed, as she was not one of the “right” people.

Now comes the mistake of 08. The ascension of Bathhouse Barry that any “corpse” man from the 57th state riding on the Inter-continental rail-road speaking Austrian can tell you was an unaccomplished Ne’er-do-well who had a nice crease in his pants. He was the one they have been waiting for. The dagger in the heart of the USA the country he despises. Finally the swamp had their murder weapon.

2010 The Tea Party. This was epic. This was a show of America’s strength. We crushed the swamp in the largest transference of power in a 100 years. It was massive, it was grassroots, it reached into to every state down to dogcatcher, But it was deemed as an existential threat to the swamp and had to be quelled at all cost. The swamp literally freaked out. This is not good for swamp business, the American people be damned. We were called racist by every assembled panel on the MSM. We were called islamophobic, homophobic, anti-American, hateful, and on and on, non-stop.Until 2012. Paul Ryan made certain that none of the Freedom Caucus had any power, Mitch McConnell began his purges and in 2012 they ran Romney for the kill shot. Both sides attacked the Tea Party except Sarah Palin who was a national figure at this point. Romney 2012 squandered the Tea Party and was a speed bump and is totally controlled by the swamp. He was more than happy to lose to Barry. Good for swamp business.

But not President Donald J Trump he has no fear that I’ve seen. He took on the Bushes and 18 swamp candidates, the Obama’s, the Clinton’s, the MSM, every uniparty political consultant and still won decisively. You know the swamp cheated. They allowed illegals to vote in the blue hives, voting machine manipulation, voter suppression by calling anyone a racist that votes for this great man, engaging the CIA, NSA, FBI, DOJ, I_RS the RNC, the DNC, most incumbent politicians both sides of the aisle against him/us and on and on, but he/we still won.

When he took office the coup continued unabated, but with a sloppy urgency that has exposed the swamp for what it is, self-serving weasels who only care about what’s in their pocket. We are now treading on very dangerous ground.

With the newest swamp maneuver the Faux-Impeachment. Thinking, God fearing, flag waving, Constitution loving, productive America, is watching and taking note. The US consumer is in the strongest position they could be in and it’s leading to an economic expansion. Investment has no choice but to flow into the US. The consumer is benefitting from higher wages and employment, low taxes, low inflation and low interest rates.

These combinations are unprecedented, because high employment is usually coupled with higher interest rates, but since the trade war has forced our major trading partners in EU, China, and Japan to drastically cut their rates, it has allowed the US dollar to remain strong (another positive for consumers) and thus given room for the Fed to stay rate increases and even cut interest rates in a growing economy because the other major economies have gone to negative rates. We may never see a more advantageous consumer and investment climate again. Expect continued growth going into next year.

The only thing that we can very clearly see about this President is that he has done nothing wrong, and that his enemies blindly pursue him at the exclusion of everything else. They hold secret testimonies where they’re told what they want to hear, only to watch them get shot down by direct cross-examinations such as “Raise your hands if you are personally aware of anything that the President did which might be a crime.” You are being asked to approve a bill of attainder, expressly prohibited by our Constitution. You are being asked to enable the political ambitions of thoroughly corrupt people, all of whom have very bloody hands and all of whom have had bloody hands for decades. If you vote “aye,” your political future will be destroyed, and theirs will not.

    • But there is more. A President can’t be impeached merely because an academic thinks that he might have “abused his power,” and a Congress which palpably hates him chooses to agree. The Founders of our country were perfectly aware that, if Congress were afforded the Judicial powers to find that someone had broken one of their laws, the situation would quickly degrade into … precisely what we see here. Namely, a “Bill of Attainder,” where the Congress seeks on its own authority to be judge, jury, and executioner, all without benefit of trial or due process.

Instead of this “maladministration,” the Founders required real crimes. They said that the accused would still face “indictment, trial, conviction and punishment.” Absolutely none of which exists here. This President faces no indictment, pending nor contemplated. He is, in the eyes of the law, an apparently innocent man. He is also a co-equal Branch of Government, which does not serve at the pleasure of the Congress, nor of the Courts.

Pelosi & Company, with the ultimate goal of seizing the White House for herself, intends to pass a Bill of Attainder, prohibited by sec. 1.9.3, without actually calling it by this name. She wants to throw out the President for “high crimes” proclaimed by the Congress itself … according to their own favorite [Lawfare …] interpretations of what, in fact, the law does not actually say.

The authors of our Constitution foresaw everything that is being attempted here.

  42. Hey Everyone! A little switch in gears, as I came across something last night when helping my daughter with her homework. Perhaps many of you may have heard about this story, but I never had, and it REALLY struck a nerve. It’s called Harrison Bergeron and is an amazing take on where society is heading in its struggle for “equality.” It’s a short story of a dystopian society of 2081. If you have never heard of it before, I HIGHLY suggest you take 5 minutes to read it. The most shocking part of it all is that it was first published in 1961. I wonder if any liberal today has ever read it. Here is the first paragraph and a link to the rest. It is a quick read, but says SO MUCH.

“THE YEAR WAS 2081, and everybody was finally equal. They weren’t only equal
before God and the law. They were equal every which way. Nobody was smarter
than anybody else. Nobody was better looking than anybody else. Nobody was
stronger or quicker than anybody else. All this equality was due to the
211th, 212th, and 213 th Amendments to the Constitution, and to the unceasing
vigilance of agents of the United States Handicapper General.

      • I must agree that the writing was not too great, but the concept, especially for 1961, was quite insightful for his time. While the imagery was a bit over the top and ridiculous in nature, it is a perfect analogy of where this whole concept of “equality” will ultimately lead our society. We must strip the more successful people and aid the less successful in order to make us all the same. Rich people should give their money to poor people. Competition must be outlawed, Privilege must be stripped, be it white, male, hetero, Christian, CIS or whatever else they come up with.

The story just illustrates in graphic detail what it is that the left is striving for and how everyone needs to take a step back and think – is this really where we want to go? Today, they are trying to erase gender.

I love this site! Where else can you go to get useful, mostly polite, and intelligent commentary? I don’t know what I would do without the CTH. Because I’m among like-minded individuals I feel safe stating that I think we can and should up our game and go beyond merely seeking emotional support here and on other sites.
We are in the fix we are in largely because our side lost the House in 2018. I’m not here to throw stones or assess blame; plenty of that has already been done. The question is how do we get out of this predicament?
This AM I was watching F&F and they were focusing on a remarkable young candidate for House District PA 17 in western PA. Sean Parnell is running against the phony “moderate” Connor Lamb. Sean is a highly decorated retired infantry captain who saw some of the most savage fighting of the Afghan war and whose unit inflicted some of the most lopsided defeats on the enemy in American military history. He is a small business owner, author, father, frequent guest on FOX and a PhD candidate in clinical psychology from Duquesne University. His values are solidly aligned with the patriotic and hard working voters of his district. HE CAN WIN! What’s more there are another 30 Congressional Districts held by Democrats that were won in 2016 by Donald Trump and there are potential Sean Parnells out in these districts as well. If you really want to reverse things, give to these candidates. THEY TOO CAN WIN. They need donations. They do not need huge donations (although that would be nice), but they need many and frequent donations. If there were ever a time to step it up it is NOW. A net gain of 20 seats in November can turn things around. LETS DO IT!

So much for the Senate trial serving as a Caine Mutiny court martial of the Left. That was always a joke. Marquis of Queensbury, once again. And that’s at best.

It isn’t up to Lindsey or anyone else in a”trial” to put on a defense. The house sends their “prosecutors” and PDJT gets to put on a defense for as long as he wants. PDJT can call anyone he wants to impeach their credibility or bolster his defense. John Roberts can’t stop it, neither can mcturtle, or PDJT will declare the entire trial a kangaroo court that denies him the same rights any afforded someone charged with jaywalking in any US court.

Lindsey Graham is a Dirty Swamp Monkey with his slimy mitts stained with Ukrainian and international $$$$. Lindsey will be hard pressed to support anything resembling a vigorous and open process.

The GOP is as deep in the swamp as the dems. They will do all that they can to oppose the President without being seen to openly oppose him.

Spot on, LP1! Your first sentence is such an obvious truth it is a shame that it needs such constant reminder–but it indeed does!

Your second sentence is even more important when you realize the importance is in the second part—“without being seen to openly oppose him”! This is the difference between a statesman representing his country and constituents and a politician.

Wonder what the ratio of statesman to politician is today in America(or anywhere for that matter)? 1:500? Less? More? Wonder what the percentage has been historically(to put it in perspective)? About the same? Less? More?

Regardless of my ‘wonderings’ and wanderings, I believe the important task is to shine light and take action on the “without being seen’ factor of governance.

Dang, I’ve been on a wee bit ranting today, eh!?! (grin)

I DETEST Heraldo R. I think he is a jerk, a blowhard and a rapist. I usually change the channel when he’s on F & F, but today I was busy so I had to listen. He hit ONE POINT that is very important.

He said Primary voting will be starting soon.

A lightbulb went off in my head. What if Nitwit Nancy and the DIMs don’t want any real Ukraine or other opposing and TRUE facts to come out before people start voting in the Primaries?

IF they drag this into 2020, maybe that is what they are aiming for. Getting people to the primary polls before the truth comes out in a Senate hearing.

WTH is wrong with that woman? Is she a meth-head? Not kidding… Supposedly they have a tendency of doing similar things like she’s always doing with her mouth. Her eyes look weird too.

That, or she is displaying signs of serious anxiety– indicated by consistent nervous-tics.
