I think Sandy Smith hasn’t dropped out yet, but look for it. She seemed postured to be a vote-splitter against Tucker (i.e., support Tillis). But President Trump’s early endorsement for Flip-flop Thom scuttled Tucker’s chances. Hopefully we’ll get a reliable senator when Burr crawls out from beneath his rock and retires after 2022 election.

    • Tucker is a never Trumper. Tillis does always vote Republican….a reliable vote but sometimes does dumb stuff because he thinks we want him to work with Dems in a nonpartisan way. I called his office a while back and told him that I did not want him working with the Dems,,,why would I or anyone who supports the President.

We’ll leave a bunch of good folks by the roadside if everyone that didn’t support then candidate Trump is forever castigated. Like Tucker, I didn’t vote for candidate Trump in the primaries. While I worship no man, I’m enthusiastically supporting our POTUS now. Op-ed Tillis spent millions tarring Tucker’s reputation…and it apparently worked.

Bloomberg News announced last week that it wouldn’t investigate its namesake owner, Michael Bloomberg, while he runs for president, or any other Democratic presidential candidate for that matter, but would continue to investigate President Trump.”

Gifts that keep on giving…..government pensions

More than 40 former UConn professors and administrators are among the top-100 retirees, along with a dozen from the health center, all of whom make more than $150,000 a year, according to state records. About 15 of the top-paid retirees worked at the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services in what is the tip of the state’s retirement pyramid.

At the top of the list is Dr. Jack Blechner of West Hartford, a former UConn Health Center physician and professor who will make $337,266 in retirement income this year. Not far behind is John Veiga of Coventry, a former UConn business professor who is on track to make $334,828 this year.

2016 Daily Caller article: Valerie Jarrett is paid an annual pension of $35,660 for the eight years she served as chairman of the Chicago Transit Authority, according to a Chicago Sun Times investigation. Jarrett was appointed to chairman of the agency — a part-time position — in 1995 by then-mayor Richard Daley, whose brother, William Daley, served as Obama’s chief of staff. Jarrett served as the former mayor’s deputy chief of staff and was appointed to numerous other positions during his term. Jarrett left CTA in 2003 and opted to dip into her pension at the earliest available opportunity. According to the Sun Times, retired city officials are allowed to begin receiving payments when they turn 50. As of last summer [2015], Jarrett has collected $306,080 in pension payments in total. That hefty sum is 27 times the amount — $11,132 — that Jarrett contributed to her pension plan through deductions from her CTA paychecks, according to the Sun Times. Because of lucrative pension arrangements like the one provided to Jarrett, Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel, also a former Obama chief of staff, has been forced to raise property taxes to the highest levels in the city’s history to help fix a massive budget shortfall. According to a Bloomberg Business article published last year, Chicago has $20 billion in pension debt — or $7,000 per city resident. https://dailycaller.com/2016/02/17/valerie-jarrett-still-receives-a-36k-annual-pension-for-part-time-chicago-transit-authority-role/

She’s still drawing her pension checks.

Looks like the Gov. of Georgia went ahead and picked another Rino for the Isaakson Senate seat instead of Collins as PT wanted. Gov. has the right to do whatever he wants in this case, but he just proved he is not a true conservative republican nor a friend to our Pres. May the Gov. reap what he sows in spades.

This Loeffler woman is a pro PP advocate who gave lots of money to Romney and Ryan’s campaigns in 2012. Should tell everyone who she will be lining up with on the big votes like impeachment and approval of a SC justice should one come up this year. No experience whatsoever for this kind of position but she has lots of money. Disgusting and so predictable.

I hope the voters in Georgia raise the roof protesting this appointment and get her to back out. Wishful thinking I know, but would be such a great thing to have happen. Gov. Kemp was pulled over the line for his winning the Governorship by PT campaigning and endorsing him. This is how he repays the Pres. for his help, sells out to the anti-Trumpers. Karma will not be kind to him next election.

When Jesus noticed how the guests picked the places of honor at the table, he told them this parable: “When someone invites you to a wedding feast, do not take the place of honor, for a person more distinguished than you may have been invited. If so, the host who invited both of you will come and say to you, ‘Give this person your seat.’ Then, humiliated, you will have to take the least important place. But when you are invited, take the lowest place, so that when your host comes, he will say to you, ‘Friend, move up to a better place.’ Then you will be honored in the presence of all the other guests. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

None of us puts much value on polling at this time in the next presidential election if at all, but last week after Rasmussen had black support for PDJT at 34% and Emerson had black support at 34.5%, NPR-Marist poll didn’t break the black demographic. Used the non- white demo which included blacks.

Watch to see if this becomes the new polling method of the media pollsters. If it does the pollsters are hiding black support for PDJT. Can’t have blacks finding out that others have left the plantation.

Leaked Report: AG Bill Barr Refutes IG Horowitz’s Conclusion that FBI had Rationale to Spy on Trump Campaign
by Jim Hoft December 2, 2019

The Washington Post published another alleged leak on Monday one week prior to the release of the Inspector General report on the Obama administration’s spying on the Trump campaign in 2016.

Deep State operatives, Democrats and their far left media are working feverishly to diffuse the effect of the momentous report before its release.

According to the Washington Post Barr does not agree with IG that the Obama deep state had justification to spy on the Trump campaign and Trump Transition Team in 2016.
Barr may include a formal letter in the report or may publicly state his concern.

It certainly should be a grave concern to every American that the DOJ and FBI can spy on their political opponents during a campaign. If that is the future for America we are no better than a banana republic.

There will be millions of Americans who will not agree with an IG report that allows the coup perpetrators to walk free.

    The Washington Post reported:

Attorney General William Barr has told associates he disagrees with the Justice Department’s inspector general on one of the key findings in an upcoming report – that the FBI had enough information in July 2016 to justify launching an investigation into members of the Trump campaign, according to people familiar with the matter.

The Justice Department’s inspector general, Michael Horowitz, is due to release his long-awaited findings in a week, but behind the scenes at the Justice Department, disagreement has surfaced about one of Horowitz’s central conclusions on the origins of the Russia investigation. The discord could be the prelude to a major fissure within federal law enforcement on the controversial question of investigating a presidential campaign.

Barr has not been swayed by Horowitz’s rationale for concluding that the FBI had sufficient basis to open an investigation on July 31, 2016, these people said.

Barr’s public defenses of President Donald Trump, including his assertion that intelligence agents spied on the Trump campaign, have led Democrats to accuse him of acting like the president’s personal attorney and eroding the independence of the Justice Department. But Trump and his Republican Barr’s public defenses of President Donald Trump, including his assertion that intelligence agents spied on the Trump campaign, have led Democrats to accuse him of acting like the president’s personal attorney and eroding the independence of the Justice Department. But Trump and his Republican allies have cheered Barr’s skepticism of the Russia investigation.

This makes sense. Horowitz is digging in to defend the institutions.

But it looks like Barr is not buying it.

What we are going to find, I think, is that the prose in the IG Report will be damning….but the IG will refuse to declare that the facts indicate premeditated bias.

But Barr is going to take those facts….combine them with Durham’s efforts….and, I believe, will indict the rotten apples.
