she has it in her heart. With liberals you have to go slow. They have become so attached to CC and for some reason, they think it is working and turning out brilliant kids. It is not. It is turning out lazy kids.
At present we have factories where the children go and learn to be snow flakes, not do their homework and the teachers are fearful. We have no rules. Just like parenting, if you are not the boss, then they are. As long as the US govt runs the show, basically, no one is in charge.
Home schooling is going to be the way of the future. Who wants to send their child to a factory of no rules. Both of my daughters are young 30s with tiny toddlers. They know the struggle I went through with them. Both of my daughters were extremely bright and courteous so at public school, they were the official “desk mate monitors”
          No thanks.
We were very fortunate to procure a Mac computer when they were 4 and 6 and worked together at home. They still went to school, but even in Maryland (for a very short time, got out of there fast) and back to Northern Virginia, Loudoun County, The public schools can offer just so much with all of the drama going on. Lots of kids with big problems.
We have some of the very best schools in the country.
Parents have a big problem accepting and obeying rules that are placed on their children.
It all starts at home…. and looking back, I think I would have done a fine job home schooling my girls, but that was then. My youngest daughter is planning to home school her three kiddos

Dr. Ben Carson asked for the Education portfolio and would have done a great job imo. He’s doing great where he is, but education is SO fundamental, and a big picture, spiritually minded, historically aware person such as he is direly needed to reform and transform education. Dr. Carson’ s mother early drilled into his head the value of education and he went on to prove it in every way.

The entire transition period was confusing imo; the dinner with Romney, what was that about?

End government school. If you home school or choose a good private school, there’s no Common Core. That being said government school wasn’t doing a good job before Common Core – SAT scores have been falling for decades despite the test being dumbed-down and points being added to up the scores.

Common Core also would have to be eliminated on a state basis and as long as CA and TX have it all the public school textbooks will be Common Core.

Don’t have links handy, but IQ scores are lower too. That relates to a number of things such as drugs and fluoride being used in our water supplies which most of Europe and elsewhere have banned. Some scary research on it.

Our kids deserve better health and better education, both of which are not being promoted at the top tier of priorities for the govt. Ben Carson would have been excellent as Secretary of Education and hopefully would have reformed it enough to dismantle it. Let the states and localities deal with public education using local tax dollars and much more parental involvement. Ahh such a mess will take along time to correct especially if no one is paying attention to it. Our kids will fall farther behind in the rankings of the world on what they are learning, how they are learning and how they will go forward into adulthood being capable, intelligent, knowledgeable citizens who can run this country productively and create new businesses. Home schooling may indeed produce the most qualified students of the future in America.

Absolutly WSB. I have been fighting at local city council levels for many years now after reading Agenda 21. This is how red states are turned blue.

US towns and cities are a primary strategy of globalists. “Think Global Act Local” is the phrase and UN Agenda-2030/Local-21, direct federal funds to cities and towns to implement it.

States are bypassed and the 10th Amendment effectively nullified by implementing Federal/local agendas directly where policies and voter blocks can be built.

Urbanization is used to turn semi-urban and suburban regions deep blue. You will find the amount of money staggering. County government soon fall as the sheer majority of blue city voters control those Boards as well.

Yes ICLEI was formed in US because of Constitutional issues with Local-21 that the globalists did not want to take on. The federal funding for urbanization is now so systemic that even ICLEI has served out its original purpose.

Regional governance councils are now pervasive in America, consolidating policies and funding to the globalist agendas. In most areas they have rendered State policy moot. Rural towns and counties have no chance in its face.

“China good” crept in via media and Holywood propaganda because the globalists needed to supplant America with a slave labor based manufacturing nation and a privileged professional class.. Our strong middle class thriving on free markets and Constitutional protections are the greatest obstacle to global governance.

China’s growth came at the exfiltration of middle class wealth, manufacturing and intellectual property. Can’t do that if Americans still see China as it is – a brutal communist regime.

China good started with Nixon, because Mao was as much an enemy of the Soviet Union as Nixon was. Probably a necessary geopolitical decision at the time. Then Deng came to power and allowed capitalists to sell them the rope they could use to hang themselves. It wasn’t so bad under Deng and his immediate successors. The last couple were completely committed to economic growth through theft. Trump is reversing that. Xi isn’t helping himself by becoming President for Life and trying to institute Big Brother throughout the country. If Hong Kong turns bloody watch for MSM to blame Trump for forcing Xi to crack down by being hardball on trade.

Sometime in the next 10 Days, the much anticipated “IG” Report from Michael Horowitz will be made available to the public. As I type, in the dark, sinister forces align and gird themselves for a rare battle in the sun against you, the American people. Much of the treason and sedition that took place over the last 3 years, is being suppressed as powerful, frightening, tectonic shifts take place that will determine, from this point on, where we are, as a Republic.

The “Impeachment” excrescence on our collective ass, is an incessant itch. This Potemkin like pretense lubed by the media’s ongoing, unctuous rationalizations forgiving self appointed plenipotentiaries for deviating from civilian command in lieu of Deep State Crypto-Fascists who really run the Federal Government is a temporary distraction that will give way, perhaps, to, “Propaganda Of The Deed”. Our government has betrayed us. These mortal sins, committed in darkness, in the dead of night, are unrightable wrongs that must be punished.

From – Gil Gutknecht “Town Hall”

“This is a coup. The objectives and tactics have been clear from the start. The recently released tweets from the “Whistleblower” confirmed what we already believed, “The coup has started” he wrote prophetically.

The co-conspirators deserve much worse than to be sent packing in the next election. Long prison sentences are the only sure deterrent to prevent this from ever happening again. They almost succeeded.”

Crimes committed during the Obama Administration, were obvious, but, like the Holodomor Denial, the 4th Estate remained silent. The Obama butt sniffing, Progressive, press pack dogs elevated sycophancy to the level of Christian Virtue while obfuscating and participating in Deep State, premeditated, malfeasance. Since 2010, the Obama White House, “Unmasked”, “Illegally Surveilled” and spied on journalists, private citizens and opposition campaigns in order to assist the Fascists in the Deep State in their quest for absolute power.

The ascension of Trump, into the Oval Office shocked the “Triumvirate” of the Deep State, the DNC and the 4th Estate, all players on the same team, into the ex nihilo creation of the “Russian Collusion” Hoax. The, from the start, obviously biased, partisan, meretricious “Mueller Report”, always, Beria like, in search of a crime, failed to produce any criminality,as does this latest tendentious narrative, parroted by the repetitive, quotidian, Adam Schiff. Schiff’s abject, shameless avowal of obvious lies, innuendo are now at a Kavanaugh level. He should bring out a punch bowl for refreshments next week during the DNC “Show Trial”.

Held so far, in abeyance, on the right, is righteous Rage At The Machine.

I could go on and on. Again, there is no doubt he and Ivanka are more liberal than POTUS, but it is absolutely wrong to question his loyalty to his FIL. I think they’re more liberal because they’re New Yorkers, he Jewish and they’re younger. All of those would make them more liberal, not to mention their previous social circles. Then again, POTUS himself used to be more liberal. I imagine this entire experience has been quite the eye opener for the entire family. That is exactly why he chose Pence–for the evangelical vote, to fill that gap. No doubt this decision helped his huge electoral college victory. But now that the same evangelicals have seen what the evildoers are doing to our President, and the lengths they will go to to oust him, they do not care how born again anybody is, they just want a non-compromising, fighter.

Now I agree that there is reason to raise an eyebrow Pence’s way due to things that emanated from his staff, but let’s stop and think for a minute. With the exception of his initial COS, every other problem in his office was an appointee he had no choice in, an appointee assigned by the swamp for the swamp.

Why do we think the deep state wouldn’t want to cause a rift or cast suspicion at POTUS’s VP? Seems to be working pretty well.

I think at this point Pence is more in the trust, but verify category.

Also, put aside fantasies about replacing him on the ticket, that would be a mistake. Pence is reassuring to Evangelicals, moderates and establishment types. IF and that’s a big IF, there proves to be a problem it is much more easily dealt with after the election.

My mom’s family had been there 200 years. Before Hitler invaded there was a “bloody Sunday”, when communist Poles decided to murder German farmers to take over their property. The peccadillos of today’s Army generals are, nevertheless, low hanging fruit. More ominous, Army political partisanship is bleeding into the ranks. The poster child for this kind of venality is Lieutenant Colonel, Alexander Vindman, on loan to the NSC. Yes, that’s the National Security Council at the White House. Seems Vindman is an egoist/linguist who is both indiscrete and treacherous.

Vindman didn’t like, or misconstrued, something President Trump said to the Ukrainian president. Subsequently, Alex went off the DOD reservation to assist the press and Congress with the impeachment follies.

Apparently, a commissioned US Army officer cannot be trusted to assist the Commander-in-Chief and respect the confidentiality of the Oval Office. If Vindman had violated command confidentiality in a combat zone, he might have been court martialed – or fragged.
Silence from Pentagon and Army brass about the Vindman treachery says all that needs to be said about contemporary military standards on the E-Ring.

And so it goes with Beltway bias. Now, DOD joins the Intelligence Community, the Justice Department, and State Department as a source of foot soldiers in the slow-motion coup.
    Call it the sedition coalition.

Say what you will about Donald Trump: this President has exposed the reality of the Washington swamp, the partisan deep state, and a bigoted Beltway establishment that may now be too corrupt for words.
Of all the Washington perfidy revealed since 2016, Military partisanship might be the most troubling pathology to emerge since Lincoln had to fire McClellan.

The Department of Defense Joins the Coup Cabal
      By G. Murphy Donovan
We like to think of military officers as political eunuchs, but that fairy tale is a smug myth. No American government institutions, including the military services, thrive or survive in Washington without vigorous internal and external political engagement.

Outspoken flag officers have several things in common. Soldiers with integrity, vision, and conscience honor the wall between political and partisan, the ethic that allows for a distinction between policy differences, honorable service, and sedition. That ethic has been eroded by the post-Vietnam era class of flag officer. Consider a sampling of contemporary military officers whose behavior today is a toxic echo of George McClellan’s ugly Civil War sedition, something other than “duty, honor, and country.”

The author is a former USAF Intelligence officer, serving under General James Clapper at USAF Intelligence. Colonel Donovan has served at the Defense Intelligence Agency, the National Security Agency and the Central intelligence Agency.

The 2008 crash was not caused by a sell-off; the sell-off was an effect . The underlying damage that had been done to the financial system by the subprime mortgage/ affordable housing shenanigans is what caused the crash.

Americans need to see this Lieutenant Colonel Vindman testify this week. We all need to see there are senior U.S. military officers who are supporting an overthrow of this President. Vindman is not alone. He is an O-5 and there are no doubt a lot more of them, up to 0-10, who are loyal only to Leftist leadership. We have too many flag officers in this country who look down their noses at the concept of elected civilian leadership which is a bedrock of our constitution. Obama made sure those officers loyal to his world view were promoted. He got rid of hundreds of U.S. Army majors who were true and loyal warriors. We all need to beware there are plenty of rogue officers in our military leadership.

    https://spectator.org/impeachment-by-focus-group/

FTA “Anyone following the increasingly desperate Democratic impeachment effort will by now be aware that they have exchanged the term “quid pro quo” for “bribery” and “extortion.” They rebranded President Trump’s alleged offenses, according to a Washington Post report, after the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee conducted a number of focus groups to test their messaging. The use of a marketing tool for something so serious confirms that, for the Democrats, impeachment is just another election strategy they hope will get traction if they dumb down the narrative. This betrays breathtaking contempt for the nation’s institutions as well as the voters….This claim may play well in focus groups but it has no real application in the context of the Democratic impeachment inquiry. First, the Treaty on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters obligates Ukraine to provide the U.S. assistance with the investigation and prosecution of corruption. Consequently, even if President Trump demanded that President Zelensky investigate Burisma Energy and Hunter Biden, it would amount to nothing more sinister than a request that Ukraine honor that treaty. …As to the Democratic definition of “extortion,” it has no meaning in foreign relations. All nations use economic pressure to affect the behavior of other countries. The proper word for this sort of pressure is “sanctions.”

Excellent article! “Impeachment by Focus Group” this is absurd! It’s silly enough to me when Democrat Presidents use focus groups to determine where to spend their vacation. But using them to help find a “high crime or misdemeanor” that the focus groups believe is impeachable even though not committed by President Trump is treasonous and just more evidence of a coordinated coup attempt by Democrats, msm, IC and deep state Federal bureaucrats with assistance from Lawfare!

Quid pro quo was all so very lawyerly. Politicians take bribes all the time. We call them donations. They even offer to do stuff for us when asking for bribes. And they are always offering to help each other out with their bribe money, if in return, you would just vote the right way.

Since all that bribery above is legal, prosecutors had to apply tests to prove bribery. A little something for a little something in return. Or in Latin, quid pro quo. (My spell check tried to trick me into squid pro quo.)

Quid pro quo has always been about accusations of bribery. They are just too incompetent to know that.

But it tested well, so they changed their attack.

When are we gonna learn that this entire thing was a set up from the start? We know McMaster staffed the NSC to get Trump. We know the NSC requested Trump talk about corruption. And we know the NSC was the source of the quid pro quo accusation using that same talk about corruption. We know the accusation went to Congress before going to the IG, and was written by lawyers, probably Schifty’s staff, hired from Lawfare. We know the IC AG changed procedures, barely in advance, to accept the accusations. We know this AG submitted them to Congress despite having been told by the OLC in the DOJ that they were unfounded. And we know that Congress Democrats keep lying about them while at the same time preventing any real defense.

In short, the entire coup is being laid out before us. But the country doesn’t know because the MSM are just Democrat propagandists.

It is important to note that the aforesaid ratified treaty cuts both ways: both nations accept obligations to assist the other. Furthermore, both nations have now elected Presidents who specifically ran on a “drain the swamp” platform. Ukraine re-opened old investigations and started new ones. The Bidens are self-confessed, arrogant criminals who now find themselves back in the cross-hairs in both countries. This time, without a POTUS to “give them six hours.”

Pelosi, Schiff, Nadler, Schumer, Biden, Obama, and more. Is there a reason why they’ve all suddenly gone ape-shit? There damned well sure is! 👮

Mr. President and Republican Congress. You have proof of intimidation and a shakedown of Ukraine with the letters by three Democrat members of the Gov sent to their Gov. I have seen them on the web. It seems to me they are keeping their promise to hold up funding to Ukraine and their request to purchase new arms ON PURPOSE. THIS IS BLACKMAIL.

Do not take the bait Mr. President.

IMO the Speaker and Schiff have other motives for this impeachment of the President. It is probably due to their alledged alliances/involvement with arms dealers in the Ukraine. President Trump is sending major arms to Ukraine and it has stymied the corrupt arms dealing and probably costing Pelosi and Schiff a major loss of income in the form of kickbacks. There was a reason former President Obama would send only pillows. As I said, just my opinion.

Stand up and fight them Republicans. You have the information and weapons at your finger tips. Use them and restore the rule of law and the Constitution. IT IS YOUR DUTY.
