Commentary on the Psalms from “The Voice” version of the Bible….

The psalms provide us with a way to think about and pray through the various threats we face. Our enemies today may not be the same as in biblical times, but they are no less real. Consider the threats on the horizon. Some may be national. Others may be more personal. Still they come to surround us and destroy us if they could only get the chance. The reality is there are times when our enemies appear to have the upper hand and our cause is lost. But wait and listen to the psalms! All is not lost because, ultimately, God is our light and salvation. The darkness will lift, and our Savior will come. He will settle all scores, and we will live in the beauty of His presence.

God reminded me of the story of how He gave the town Jericho to the Israelites by having them march around the city with praise… Then He showed me that surrounding Washington DC is the Capitol Beltway. Every single day thousands of His people drive around this beltway and other beltways!

If believers would spend their commuter time intentionally praising Him and asking for the principalities, powers and strongholds strangling America to be brought down; He would do it in due time.

If all those who are called by His name would simply crank up their worship music and praise Him for destroying the demonic stronghold constructed to destroy our freedom… He will do it for us. Praise with Purpose during your drive time and watch God move upon our land!

        Transcript:

        – Good morning. Foreman Mike, WeBuildTheWall Construction.
        – We got our D6’s moving.
        – What we’re doing, we pan across from the Rio Grande, we have a 150 foot easement that’s been purchased by Tommy Fisher of Fisher Industries. It’s 3.5 miles long.

        – We’re doing the initial clearing at present time. We are also getting our initial GIS if you pan over.
We’re getting our initial GIS of 120 ft.
We’re leaving ourselves 30 ft. off the farming property for our cleanup along the bank.
        – This is our initial cut

        – If you come around behind me you can see the compactors. We’re aerating right now our first cut on aeration of the farmland. We’re going to let it dry out.
        – Then our graders are going to be coming in. We’re going to start cutting the banks for the highway.
We’ve got approximately 2,800 ft. in 3 days. We’ve got another 2 miles cleared initially going to the west.

        – Things are going well. It’s a cool, crisp 50 degrees. Everything’s running well. Spirits are high.
        – We’ve got great support from our local people we have coming in to help. And we’ve got a huge outpouring of support.
        – Thank you donors. And remember, we need those donations. Keep them cranked up. And if you can’t donate, share, share, share. America’s woken up.
        – There’s the cartels. Let’s take them to ****.

        Transcript:

        – Foreman Mike, WeBuildTheWall Construction.
        – We’re waiting on the fuelers for our afternoon fuel up.
        – Project’s going very well. We’ve got about a mile and a half cleared back 120 feet. We’re saving the last 30 ft. for collection. It’s aerating very well.

        – We’ve got a couple of problems. All over the internet we’ve got the butterfly lady who’s up the stream. Doesn’t want the wall. Fought the wall on her property. She won.
        – What you people have to know is that you have dead bodies on her property, right near her property.
        – Yesterday they had what’s called a splasher. That’s where they steal vehicles, the cartel, and then get chased by the border patrol and drive into the Rio Grande where we can’t touch them.
        – You patriots are putting a stop to that. We’re building 3.5 miles of wall.
-The people of Texas are rising up cause WeBuildTheWall and Fisher Industries are going forward with this build. We’re not going to stop. We need help from the people of Texas, all along the border. We’re here building. You gotta help out.

        – We’ve got rogue priests running around. Anti-Trump. Anti-wall. Anti-border.
        – There are women and children on both sides of this border you people are defending along with the Border Patrol and our friends at Department of Homeland Security. You keep up the good work.
        – Don’t listen to these freaks. There’s something really wrong with them. Their moral compass is broken when they don’t want safety on both sides of the border.
        – When the wall’s up on the border they’re not going to come across. They’re not going to get stabbed and killed 7 times like the guy in the bushes a mile from here that we can’t show. Okay?
        – They’re not going to have all the rape houses. They’re not going to have all this. You’re stopping everything.
        – Magnificent job! Go to WeBuildTheWall.us. Donate today. If you can’t donate, share, share, share.

Q: What is this? Please explain?
Q: Apparently the border wall is going up on their property in Texas. They claim they have never been notified by our government. I just looked it up online.
A: No it’s going up 1 mile from them and we triggered them LMAO
A: The best part is after @realDonaldTrump sees how effective this wall system is he’ll build it on the @NatButterflies property with our help
A: Is a chunk of land on border bought by extreme left wing nut jobs to protest wall so they said the land is a butterfly sanctuary and even named it themselves the “national butterfly center” it’s a 501c3 non profit and is illegally engaging in politics.

New tweet about excellent CNN article I posted on yesterday’s Presidential Thread.

The private border wall group is building again, this time in Texas – 11/15/19
      https://www.cnn.com/2019/11/15/politics/fisher-industries-border-wall/index.html

Q: an entity who claims to be “for the butterflies,” uses the “resist” hashtag. that alone tells me all i need to know about their b.s. claims. build that wall!
A: Yup they will lose their 501c3 status for electioneering and being political. It’s already been filed
A: You need to ask why a butterfly non profit is attacking a senate candidate who is currently running a can campaign. That’s all you need to know. HIGHLY ILLEGAL
      – Brian Kolfage (Nov 16, 2019)

Q: They cut through your wall with $100 power tools
Q: What he MEANT TO SAY was “It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know this freestanding monument to stupidity will fall in the river when we have our next hurricane.” Lolololol
A: Guess time will tell who’s more educated on Construction, the moron butterfly lady or the man with a degree in architecture. Stay in your lane with butterflies you know nothing about design and construction
      – Brian Kolfage (Nov 16, 2019)

Q: Uhmmm, your 3 mi “wall” won’t connect to any other border wall or barrier, so you’re building a freestanding monument to stupidity that won’t stop anyone or anything. And it will fall into the river when we have our next hurricane.
A: It’s a shame you don’t care about the dead bodies on your property or the women & children being sex trafficked right in your backyard. At least we are working to stop it, you are enabling and are COMPLICIT!

          • Also to consider, some of today’s leaders in the Roman Catholic and various and assorted Protestant churches and seminaries sought and received the religious training deferment during the Vietnam war era. While some were no doubt following their true vocation or perhaps were true conscientious objectors, the result was that many religious institutions subsequently replaced their historical allegiance to the “just war “ concept with pacifism. If you don’t stand (and I’ll add fight) for something you will fall for anything…..protecting butterflies over the defenseless (e.g., trafficked children)? May G-d help us.

      The Vets Are Coming!

The ‘Word’ in veteran’s circles is, if the dems don’t drop this coup attempt an army of vets will march on DC with the following demands:

      1. All elected/appointed/contracted members/associates of the Federal Government in which evidence is presented that proves they are violating/violated their oath/contract by participating in a coup attempt in which they are/were communicating/acting on what they know/knew/should have known was false information, will be forced to resign or face charges.
      2. The management/staffs of all political parties in which evidence is presented that proves they are/were participating in a coup attempt in which they are/were communicating/acting on what they know/knew/should have known was false information will be forced to publically acknowledge the same or face legal action initiated by the veterans.

Jesse routinely challenges all the anti-MAGA propaganda. He has progressed from “Watters World” man-on-the-street interviews that exposed the frightening level of millenials’ ignorance of American history and civics, to the Center Chair on the daily broadcast of The Five.

The center chair originally belonged to Eric Bolling, founder of that broadcast, and one of the earliest strong public supporters of presidential Candidate Donald J. Trump. Makes me wonder in retrospect…when, exactly, did the winds of change start to blow through the FOXNews Control Center? FAUX rolled over Eric Bolling and ditched him faster than anything I have ever seen under similar circumstances.

The Five broadcast is no longer a staple in this home, but we do catch Jesse at least once a week. We’re fans of Greg Gutfeld as well. We wish the Bollings comfort and peace.

But, sadly it was a hit! The show was a Seinfield and its popularity is a real insight into TV watching US residents so bored &/or so brained numbed/dumbed down/IDLE that they watch a show about nothing and in which the people are self centered and often mean to others

I had a revelation along those lines, awhile back. Not just Seinfeld, but Friends, Cheers,..a whole host of hit T.V. shows fit your description perfectly! Self centered, self absorbed main charachters. Truthfully, would ANY of us want ANY of those charachters, as a real life BFF?
Similarly, look at 50’s tv families, vs 80’s. The Father went from the wise, judicious patriarch, (Father knows best, My Three Sons, etc.) to a coarse, idiot doofus (Simpsons, Married with Children). He hates his job, his family, his life, and feels trapped by his family.
And Mothers, similarly faired poorly under the change. Bubble headed ditzes, …and the children? Smart mouthed wise cracking what my Dear old Dad would call ‘little sh*ts’.

But, TV and movies don’t have ANY effect on viewers, either their views or perspectives or values cause,…
        Its JUST ‘entertainment’!

        Boob toob, indeed!

One slightly newer show, 80’s, worth a look back is Family Ties.

Political commentary was actually humorous and light-hearted in that show. Fun was pretty evenly poked at both sides. The iconic conservative character played by Michael J. Fox was no stick figure – he mentioned Milton Friedman and made good points – and was treated with affection as were all the family members. There was no hate, no demonization, just good comedy writing.

I’ve streamed and watched the entire series and probably will again some time when the mood strikes. It’s a great headache reducer from today’s sad histrionics.

True freedom can only occur by free thought, free speech, and free choice. The Democrat Marxist Party is now a fascist party erasing free speech, demonizing anyone who thinks for themselves, and censoring opposing views. Ask Kanye.

I am not a black person but I believe some black people feel President Donald Trump is slandered, targeted, and constantly abused. It brings to mind how blacks were targeted by the Klan and white Democrats who believed blacks were lazy and shiftless. Government policy under Democrats replaced the Father in a family with the Government, conditioning benefits on so called fatherless families.

Again and again the vote is delayed for Democrats to muster up the tally they need in the heavily blue big city districts in the State. It is quite obvious as you watch elections on the television for anyone to figure that out. Take a look at these big city counties closely. In Wayne county (Detroit) 2018 midterms, there was heavy voter fraud that was reported on. Counties votes are surpassing registered voters.

Voter fraud has been and keeps occurring on a massive scale in these areas without any repercussions. RNC is freak$ng worthless. But then what do you expect with a Romney in charge? Another puzzling personnel decision.

When is anyone going to hold the RNC accountable for rooting out the fraud?

        • The voter fraud myth about losing the House in 2018 has been disproven over and over. There were an excessive number of GOP retirees, reducing the advantage of incumbencies. In a number of districts, the GOP didn’t even run candidates. And the total voter turnout was 49% of eligible, meaning that EVERY candidate who won was elected by a minority of voters. The unavoidable, totally documented fact is that more Republican voters sat the election out last time. That’s not fraud. More like short-sighted, bone laziness.

To win, you have to mount good candidates, in every contest. It comes down to quality. And you have to get out the vote. Armchair quarterbacks are irrelevant, no matter how many comments they share on the Internet.

When any district gets even 1 percentage point of total votes over the actual percentage of registered voters, why isn’t that an instant automatic recount, full-tilt fraud investigation, stop the presses and get it solved, situation?

It is so clearly and definably wrong and unjust for that ever to happen. What would a fix to that take? 50 individual state laws? Ballot initiatives? Federal law if it happens in a federal election?

I did some reading. This is what she said in Glamour magazine:

I was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2005. Then in 2007, when I was only 41 years old, just after my first mammogram came back clean, I was doing a routine self-exam and found a lump. It turned out to be breast cancer. I also discovered that, like many other Ashkenazi Jewish women, I carry the BRCA2 gene mutation. […]
After discussing it with my doctors and my husband, I chose to have a double mastectomy and have my ovaries removed. I also chose to keep my battle private for 15 months. My children were very young. My twins were eight and my youngest daughter was four. I didn’t want my children to know until I finished treatment, had a clean bill of health, and could assure them I was cancer-free.

I suspect she kept it a secret because she didn’t want VOTERS to know, because they might not have re-elected her in 2008. She had the surgeries in December 2007 but didn’t let anyone know about it until after she had been re-elected. I personally think it should be criminal for a political candidate to fail to disclose to voters any serious illness requiring surgery, chemo, and/or radiation treatments.

Then the week prior to Gowdy’s questioning of Hillary, there were new reports in the press about American military ready to be wheels-up for a rescue mission, waiting for the order that never came. New press coverage on that aspect.

    • I think that’s why the impeachment argument narrative switched to “bribery” lately. It’s already defined in the Constitution, along with treason. The “high crimes and misdemeanors” was intentionally left ambiguous. There are debates about that in the Federalist papers.

The result of the debates before the ratification of the Constitution was to agree to make the bottom line worst violations personal enrichment schemes/demands (bribery), and trying to actively take down the established government (treason). The rest would be left to future generations and the Amendment procedure to define, which makes them inevitably subject to whatever current politics prevails.

As posted several times before, ‘High Crimes and Misdemeanors’ was specifically chosen to replace ‘maladministration’ because each the three words carried at the time a specific meaning in British impeachment equivalent law. All documented in the Constitutional Convention minute and in Federalist #65.
—High meant a higher standard for public officials than commoners. This translates into a lower standard of proof for conviction.
        —Crimes meant just that. Felonies.
—Misdemeanors did not mean criminal misdemeanors. It meant seriously bad noncriminal behavior. This is proven by the first impeachment conviction in 1804, a NH federal judge who appeared drunk on the bench.
