UPDATE: Louisiana Governors Race – Election Results – Open Discussion Thread – Democrat Incumbent John Bel Edwards Wins Reelection…

Tonight is the last governors race of the year. Democrat Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards is facing off against a Republican challenger Eddie Rispone, a Baton Rouge businessman who emerged as the winner in last month’s nonpartisan primary.

President Trump is very popular in Louisiana and has supported Mr. Rispone in his challenge.  It is expected to be a very close race, and the media is hoping for an opportunity to frame President Trump’s reelection outcome with a loss for Mr. Rispone.

If John Bel Edwards wins, the media will joyfully proclaim the victory as overwhelming evidence of President Trump’s weakness.  If Eddie Rispone wins the media will play it down and say it means nothing.

UPDATE:  Incumbent Governor John Bell Edwards Wins by 40,000 votes.

Louisiana Secretary of State – Election Results Here

It was Democrat votes from within Orleans Parish that overwhelmingly voted for Governor John Bel Edwards (almost 90%) and eliminated any possibility for Eddie Rispone.  Orleans voted +100,000 for JBE (see graph below):

Well it is very close. Also the big problem is the big democrat vote center of New Orleans has not reported anything yet. Dem’s may be calculating how many ballots to stuff. Ridiculous every other parish has reported Early vote for a while now.

Same thing happens here in Washington State EVERY SINGLE ELECTION!! The whole state reports and then, suddenly, good ol’ King County comes in with just enough votes to flip the whole rest of the state. It would be almost funny except that it happens every single time and they always seem to have just enough “late-minute” absentee ballots and no one in the local media seems to have the slightest bit of curiosity about WHERE all those magical ballots originated!

IMHO, overcoming vote fraud would do more than ANY other single issue to turn this country around. The number of ballots illegally cast is probably close to 20% of the election totals. Republicans win when the Democrats can’t cheat!

Washington recently instituted “same day voting” so all of the homeless people can register with the address of the shelter and still get their ballots counted. (That wasn’t the official reason given but it’s my take on the whole debacle! Nothing like having my vote cancelled by someone who doesn’t even live here and signed up in exchange for a 2 oz bottle of Jim Beam!)

He didn’t have any controversy like Bevin. The problem with this election is the democrat is relatively well liked in the state as he is more moderate than the natinoal dems. JBE is more likable than Beshear was and also not as anti gun and pro abortion like Beshear. It is believable that it is a close race. Still Orleans parish not reporting sets off voter fraud alarms.

Polling locations are manned by volunteers. The rural parishes mostly were the early reporters. Orleans Parish is said to have approx 400 boxes. The check-in process once you get back to the elections administration office can get crowded and the line can back up. The election judges may have been waiting to check in rather than slow to pack up and go to the office.

The RNC: are these people genuinely incompetent, or deliberately feigning incompetence? They send out a lot of email messages and regular mail – always begging for money. But at least in PA, the RNC, in their frequent flier correspondence, NEVER asks people to sign up to work at the polling places.

I took matters into my own hands before the 2018 election, contacted the county election bureau, went to training for one morning, became certified, and have now worked as a polling official at my own precinct twice. The Dims motivate people to participate in the mechanics of elections. The Rs don’t even mention it. Why? Particularly in view of the increased level of fraud throughout the entire country, WHY?.

While on polling place duty I watch and listen closely for voter / machine anomalies. On our current equipment one of my own votes flipped from R to D in 2016. I caught the “anomaly” during the ballot review function, before punching in “VOTE”, and was able to correct the “error”. I know that I did NOT choose the D candidate in that race. The machine flipped my vote – but I caught it. How many people are on red alert to watch the details and catch at least one type of fraud as it occurs?

My example is one of the simple ones. The ballot harvesting and ineligible voter participation is destroying our entire election mechanism. We cannot maintain our Right to determine the outcome of our elections under these circumstances.

WHERE THE HELL IS THE RNC AND WHY ARE THEY PARALYZED, RONNA? THIS IS AS MUCH A CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS AS THE ORGANIZED ATTEMPT TO TAKE OUT OUR POTUS.

Time to light up the phone lines to the RNC and ask WHY the RNC, in their frequent flier/email correspondence, NEVER ask people to sign up to work at the polling places?

We need to bring this point up EVERY time they ask for $$$!

Then tell them you only plan to donate to PDJT and directly to the candidates themselves.

          Here’s a real scary one:
Ron Weiser, who was said to have raised over 40 MILLION in MI for the 2018 mid terms is now the REGIONAL CHAIR of SEVEN STATES for 2020.

We had candidates BEGGING FOR MONEY (there was NO $ for tv ads, ballot proposals, signs, etc), and WE LOST THE WHOLE TICKET AND 3 BALLOT PROPOSALS!

NOBODY could get any $$$!!! Where did the 40 MILLION go Ron??

The candidate for Governor, Bill Schuette, was AWFUL, but WE LOST THE WHOLE DOWN TICKET TOO???

RONNA AND RON BOTH NEED TO GO!!!

IMHO, the RNC is complicit in the fraud because they raise so much more money when they are the minority party promising to “fix” everything if only they can get into office…which of course they NEVER do when they are in the majority!

That’s why it’s called the Uniparty! Both sides playing their assigned roles in the fleecing of the American citizen! It’s the Harlem Globetrotters of politics, except in this case, it’s not a game and there is nothing funny about it!

Rispone spent 12 mil of his own money but every commercial i saw was President Trump asking for us to vote for him and Edwards bashing Rispone’s buisness record and Rispone never had an answer to those commercials. I don’t think they’re even trying to be discrete here. The 105th state house seat where the 2 republicans one by 20+% in the primary in october (https://ballotpedia.org/Chris_Leopold) is now narrowly one by a rat. https://voterportal.sos.la.gov/Graphical. I think the rats got there way. They wanted to keep the democrat governor in and then make it so that the republicans do not have a super majority in the statehouse so that the democrats can get another congressional seat when redistricting. Hopefully the RINO’s get smart and repeal the provision requiring super majority to override governor vetos and congressional map like they thankfully have in KY. IDK how judges work in LA bu they should not confirm whoever Edwards sends as well as they will always vote on the side of Edwards on Matters like this. Or else we might get another Nancy Pelosi Democrat representing Louisiana making our path to reclaiming the house harder. If we get 217 seats in 2022 due to this nonsense again hopefully people learn better once they see Adam Schifty as Intelligence chair again. NC courts already gave the rats another 2 seats last week I believe. They had been gerrymandering republicans for a 100+ years during the KKK era now once the voters gave the republican legislature control for the first time. Eric Holder and his band of thugs go to the courts and stop it.
