Hearing Highlights – Jordan, Stefanik and Ratcliffe Deconstruct Impeachment Narrative…

Day One of the Pelosi, Schiff and Lawfare effort to publicly construct support for the impeachment of President Trump ends.  Within the questioning of State Department officials George Kent and Bill Taylor the value of adding Jim Jordan to the hearings became clear.

Jim Jordan, Elise Stefanik and John Ratcliffe methodically deconstructed the false premise advanced by the impeachment crew.  It became clear that both Kent and Taylor held no specific and direct knowledge of the substance behind the claims made by the democrats leading the effort.  Here’s a few highlights starting with Jim Jordan:

Jordan pressed Taylor on how he came to have a “clear understanding” that the U.S. aid to Ukraine was dependent on opening an investigation into Trump’s political rivals. Jordan said there was no “linkage” and Ambassador Taylor said he came to his “clear conclusion” based on what other people said about what other people heard about conversations with other people.

Next up John Ratcliffe: Rep. Ratcliffe reviewed multiple public statements made by Ukrainian President Zelensky that he was not pressured by the U.S. and had no knowledge of military aid being withheld from Ukraine.

.

Then Elise Stefanik brings it home by outlining Burisma: Rep. Stefanik focused on both officials’ statements on the corruption in Ukraine and Burisma:

How flat wrong you are about the “boob tube”. I was able to watch CNN, NBC, CBS, and ABC side by side in the gym. All 3 live streamed the hearing, from the hearing room with very little if any split screen screeching from the spinning heads.

        Liked by 1 person

    • thedoc00 says:

That may be true for the Network spinning head shows but the inquiry was live streamed. That is why those talking boycott are not thinking clearly because those live streams are not interrupted, except for commercials a few times the spinning heads appeared on split screen to give commentary that did not match the testimony and exchanges.

Then there is social media streams.

It is all live play optics at this point. Yes, the licensed broadcast media with very few exceptions will edited the heck out of today’s testimony. But allot live stream made it out today over allot of different channels. This fact is the reason for the shot over the bow of anybody attempting to support the President in the senate, with a short circuiting vote.

I expected this is exactly what was going to happen–Schiff’s staged lackeys were going to lacerated by our interrogators. Even the ones you wouldn’t expect to be effective were exceptional. Schiff’s creepy eyes were almost bulging out of the sockets having to sit there and know that millions of American’s were seeing his sham pulverized into bits. Not even Swalwell could get Taylor to say what he wanted him to say. Today was an unmitigated disaster for the walking bacteria running their Gestapo operation.

This was supposed to be the BEST witnesses lol. It’s only going to get worse and this doesn’t even include the witnesses that REPUBLICANS are going to be bringing in that will add to this devastation they did today to show uniformed Americans the truth FIRST-HAND.

Now add this to what is coming with the Horowitz Hurricane and the weekly news that will be coming out about Durham and his grand jury that will produce the long-waited indictments of the same very scum the democrats have been trying to protect, and this impeachment crock-o-rama will come to a slow but certain death. There are so many reasons it would be INSANE for them to try to push it to the senate after everything that is going to hit them.

The Three Stooges could stop this impeachment farce with the mountain of lunacy Pelsosi will have to defend to moronically go forward. And Curly could even be the lead prosecutor.

The answer of why is this House Marxists turd show happening is real simple. Back in 2016 POTUS campaigned on a foreign policy that would make the “third rate” bureaucrats in the State Department basically irrelevant AND obsolete. In retrospect, that was obvious TO THEM (and not to us) from the get go.

So, POTUS’s crime is just that: foreign policy restructuring. And they don’t like it one bit!

Taylor’s testimony reminds me of the “whisper” (or rumor) game we’d play in grade school.

The first person in the line or circle whispers a word or phrase into the ear of the person sitting or standing to their right.

Players whisper the phrase to their neighbors until it reaches the last player in line.

The Conclusion. The last player says the word or phrase out loud so everyone can hear how much it has changed from the first whisper at the beginning of the circle or line.

    The Object of the Game:

    – helps clearly show how small misconceptions can end up making a huge difference.

    – can help young children or those learning English develop their active listening skills

    – is used for classroom counseling lessons to help children understand the impact of gossip and rumors

how to deal with adam Schiff?…

clearly this is an abuse of power…and as a matter of law, in any courtroom you and I would ever face, this is prosecutorial misconduct.

my question is simple: what stops the minority house from lodging an ethic violation…and also filing a complaint in the record..not simply a “objection” to the ridiculous soviet style jury rules, but actually that he cannot be allowed to be part of ANY aspect of this investigation/inquiry/impeachment..nor of the rule making or witness lists..nor of placing limits to questions about his own contact with the source of the complaint allegats?

why hasn’t POTUS files a complaint against Schiff?

I understand the implications that this matter is a political vehicle unto its own..and that is what bothers me. It really does matter that process be above board…

I think of it this way:

a witness to a crime goes to the home of a local judge and tells all….that judge would never be permitted to conduct any aspect of any case or related cases involving any persons within the complaint.

why is this permitted in such a gross mangled subversion of simple due process by a member of congress.

I am thinking this matter needs to go before the supreme court and now.
this isn’t merely an equal but separate co-equal branch of government and power….at the very root of this entire matter, is that adam schiff has single-handedly acted such that there is no meaning or respect to standard due process that anyone, you or me, would always be allowed and that right and protections guarded.

I think supreme court needs to interpret the law here…

maybe I’m wrong..I’m no authority…but this sure sounds like a separate and unequal application and abuse of standard process.

for example..why has congress allowed adam schiff to block question related directly to his and his staffs contacts with this leaker/blower? How can that be blocked?

yes, this is irregular…it would never be permitted in a court of law.

bear in mind, POTUS has been accused of committing a crime!!!

adam schiff has state that clearly this key fact.

this process if broken…it has coup written all over it.

disbarment, lettter of censure, toss out all witness s statements with schiff at the helm and dismiss the case..then try adam schiff for prosecutorial misconduct.

    why?

action must be taken now, if “we” have any hope to make a clear example of the consequences to “elected officials” who abuse power.

adam schiff must pay a penalty …

    how to get this started?

    by whom?

can voters collectively sign a petition to DOJ? the president? to congress itself?

can we count on the minority to step up and act to crush this lawlessness?

these the pressing concerns I have..

I try to explain to my young daughter that none of this is right and normal…she asks me “why isn’t it being called a crime?

I am frustrated to tell her the truth: the laws and the standards of justice that apply to you and me, do not apply to powerful members of congress.

it doesn’t inspire confidence I tell you.

At least Amb. Taylor clearly saw the humor of the situation when it was pointed out by Congressman Jordan. Good job Congressman Jordan!!!

Stefanik is taking heat for helping to expose Schiff, and standing up to it. I think I’m becoming a fan!

Can someone explain why my comments aren’t posting? I rarely make a post but it’s always worked up until now. I’ve been at the Treehouse since the Trayvon/Scheme Team days…

Just my guess but the Democrats know that the impeachment is dead once in the Senate. However, the democrats could be using this impeachment only as a way to prevent POTUS from appointing another Supreme Court justice if Justice Ginsburg dies or becomes incapacitated within the next year. The argument would be that he shouldn’t be allowed to appoint a Justice with impeachment hanging over him and the election less than a year away.
