Senator Burr: “Senate Impeachment Trial Will Last 6 to 8 weeks”…

It looks like the House impeachment is now a foregone conclusion.  To wit the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) Chairman Richard Burr has announced the schedule outline for the upcoming Senate Impeachment Trial.

The trial of President Trump will run from 12:30pm to 6:30pm Monday through Saturday and will last approximately six to eight weeks:

Generally it appears the SSCI is positioning for a conclusion of a guilty verdict where President Trump will be removed from office and President Mike Pence will select Nikki Haley as his vice-presidential candidate for 2020. [Hence the book and MAGA narrative]

Senate Chairman Richard Burr’s forward-lean into the impeachment process takes us back to something previously outlined when it seemed like this was the preferred direction for the professional political class.

…A branch of the United States government (Legislative) is attempting a coup against the leader of another branch of government (Executive); by using the Senate Intelligence Committee and designated corrupt agents within the executive branch cabinet.

In the first part of our research into the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) we outlined how the committee was engaged in the 2017 effort –with specific evidence of communication– to support Robert Mueller and the ‘soft coup‘ team. [See Here] When you understand what the group was doing in early 2017, you understand why the FBI had to use DOJ official Bruce Ohr as a go-between to contact with Chris Steele.

The problem for Attorney General Bill Barr is not only investigating what we don’t know, but rather navigating through what ‘We The People’ are already aware of…. A branch of the United States government (Legislative) is attempting a coup against the leader of another branch of government (Executive); by using the Senate Intelligence Committee and designated corrupt agents within the executive branch cabinet.

This 2017 and 2018 time period covers Robert Mueller as Special Counsel, Jeff Sessions as AG, Rod Rosenstein as Deputy, Chris Wray as FBI Director, David Bowditch as Deputy and Dana Boente as FBI legal counsel.  I’ll lay out the evidence, you can then determine who was powerful enough to have made these decisions.

As a result of a FOIA release in Mid December 2018, Judicial Watch revealed how the State Department was feeding “classified information” to multiple U.S. Senators on the Senate Intelligence Committee by the Obama administration immediately prior to President Donald Trump’s inauguration:

The documents reveal that among those receiving the classified documents were Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA), Sen. Ben Cardin (D-MD), and Sen. Robert Corker (R-TN).

Judicial Watch obtained the documents through a June 2018 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed against the State Department after it failed to respond to a February 2018 request seeking records of the Obama State Department’s last-minute efforts to share classified information about Russia election interference issues with Democratic Senator Ben Cardin (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:18-cv-01381)).

The documents reveal the Obama State Department urgently gathering classified Russia investigation information and disseminating it to members of Congress within hours of Donald Trump taking office.  (read more)

The impeachment program was a plan, an insurance policy of sorts; a coordinated effort between corrupt politicians in the Senate and hold-over allies in the executive; however, because she didn’t want to participate in this – Senator Dianne Feinstein abdicated her vice-chair position to Senator Mark Warner.  [Background Here]

This is the pre-cursor to utilizing Robert Mueller.  A plan that was developed soon after the 2016 election.  The appointment of a special counsel was always the way they were going to hand-off and continue the investigation into Trump; but they needed a reason for it.

The continued exploitation of the Steele Dossier was critical; thus they needed Chris Steele to be solid.  And the continued manipulation of the media was also critical; thus they needed Fusion-GPS to continue.  [Dan Jones paid both]

While Mark Warner was communicating with Adam Waldman and Dan Jones as a conduit to Chris Steele, the FBI/DOJ team was communicating through Bruce Ohr to Chris Steele (and by extension to Nellie Ohr and Fusion GPS).

Part of Warner’s role was to weaponize the Legislative branch to advance the ‘Muh Russia conspiracy’, a fundamental necessity if a special counsel was going to have justification.

The SSCI, and the security protocols within it, were structurally part of the plan; hence the rapid information from Obama’s State Dept. to the SSCI and Senate participants in the last moments prior to departing.

♦ On March 17th, 2017, the Senate Intelligence Committee took custody of the FISA application used against Carter Page.   We know the FISA court delivered the read and return Top-Secret Classified application due to the clerk stamp of March 17, 2017.

(Page FISA Application, Link)

The FISA application (original and first renewal) was delivered to Senate Security Director James Wolfe.  Senator Mark Warner entered the basement SCIF shortly after 4:00pm on March 17, 2017, the day it was delivered (texts between Warner and Waldman):

Now, when SSCI Security Officer James Wolfe was indicted (unsealed June ’18), we could see the importance of the March 17th date again:

(Wolfe Indictment Link)

We can tell from the description within the indictment FBI investigators are describing the FISA application.  Additionally Wolfe exchanged 82 text messages with his reporter/girlfriend Ali Watkins.  The FISA application is 83 pages with one blank page.

The logical conclusion was that Wolfe text Ali Watkins 82 pictures of the application.

FBI Investigators applied for, and received a search warrant for the phone records of journalist Ali Watkins.  Ms. Watkins was notified in February 2018, three months after Wolfe was questioned by FBI investigators in December 2017.

However, despite the overwhelming (public) circumstantial evidence that Wolfe leaked the FISA application, he was never charged with leaking classified information.  Wolfe was only charged with lying three times to federal authorities, and he pled down to one count of lying to the FBI.

CTH made the case in mid 2018 that someone at the DOJ had influenced a decision not to charge Wolfe with the leaking of the FISA application; despite the FBI and DOJ having direct evidence of Wolfe leaking classified information.

The logical reason for the DOJ not to charge Wolfe with the FISA leak was because that charge could ensnare a Senator on the powerful committee, likely Mark Warner.

Remember, the SSCI has intelligence oversight of the DOJ, DOJ-NSD, FBI and all associated counterintelligence operations. Additionally, when the FBI was investigating Wolfe for leaking classified documents, according to their court filings they had to inform the committee of the risk Wolfe represented.  Who did they have to inform?.. Chairman Burr and Vice-Chair Warner.

D’oh. Think about it.  A gang-of-eight member (Warner), who happened -as a consequence of the jaw dropping implications- to be one of only two SSCI members who was warned by the FBI that Wolfe was compromised…. and he’s the co-conspirator.  The ramifications cannot be overstated.  Such a criminal charge would be a hot mess.

Thus, the perfect alignment of interests for a dropped charge and DC cover-up.

Then, in an act of serendipity, James Wolfe himself bolstered that suspicion when he threatened to subpoena members of the SSCI as part of his defense. [See Here]

[…] Attorneys for James A. Wolfe sent letters to all 15 senators on the committee, notifying them that their testimony may be sought as part of Mr. Wolfe’s defense, according to two people familiar with the matter.

[…] Mr. Wolfe’s defense lawyers are considering calling the senators as part of the proceedings for a variety of reasons, including as potential character witnesses and to rebut some of the allegations made by the government in the criminal complaint, these people say.  (link)

Immediately after threatening to subpoena the SSCI (July 27, 2018), the DOJ cut a deal with Wolfe and dropped the charges down to a single charge of lying to investigators.  However, someone doing the investigative legwork wasn’t happy with that decision.

Our overwhelming CTH circumstantial evidence that Wolfe leaked the FISA application went from a strong suspicion, to damn certain (after the plea deal) when the DOJ included a sentencing motion in mid-December 2018.

On December 15th, 2018 the DOJ filed a response to the Wolfe defense teams’ own sentencing memo (full pdf), and within the DOJ response they included an exhibit (#13) written by the FBI [redacted] special agent in charge, which specifically says: “because of the known disclosure of classified information, the FISA application”… Thereby admitting, albeit post-plea agreement, that Wolfe did indeed leak the damn FISA:

(link to document)

Right there, in that FBI Special Agent description is the bombshell admission that James Wolfe leaked the Carter Page FISA application to his concubine Ali Watkins at Buzzfeed.

We know the special agent who wrote exhibit #13 in the December filing was Special Agent Brian Dugan, Asst. Special Agent in Charge, Washington Field Office.  The same investigator who originally signed the affidavit in the original indictment.

So with hindsight there was absolutely no doubt that James Wolfe leaked the 83-page Carter Page FISA application on March 17, 2017.  Period.  It’s all documented with circumstantial and direct evidence; including the admissions from the FBI agent in charge.

So, why was James Wolfe allowed to plea to a single count of lying to investigators?

Back to where this started….

A branch of the United States government (Legislative) is attempting a coup against the leader of another branch of government (Executive); by using planted and designated corrupt agents within the cabinet…

Now do you see why I say: the problem for Attorney General Bill Barr is not investigating what we don’t know, but rather navigating through what ‘We The People’ are already aware of….

Then again, if Barr waits a little longer it will all be a moot point.

Sundance, how can the “ramifications” “of a FISA leak that could ensnare a Senator on a powerful committee (likely Mark Warner)” be either more “overstated” or more of a “hot mess” than the ramifications of taking out a duly elected president??

If there are folks within the DOJ and FBI willing to do the latter, how are there not also folks willing to do the former??

It has just occurred to me that these traitors in the House and Senate NEED to feel they have the power to remove President Trump. If they felt they had no chance at impeachment their last resort would be assassination.

There’s no way they can allow him to win a second term next year. If this President prevails they’re all going down and they know it.

So in order to protect himself from the worst they can possibly muster -assassination- the President lets this scenario play itself out. But he is *not* out of ammo.

In fact he has them all dead to rights. President Trump would not subject himself and his family to Deep State unless he had a foolproof plan. He just can’t be that unprepared. Those who think they’ve outsmarted him are in for a very rude awakening.

I wonder whether Barr, Durham, and Horowitz are trying to decide between these:

      B. Sit on the report and investigation long enough for the Congress to remove Trump.

Barr is thinking to himself, “Uh, yeah, how exactly am I going to do A? How is A going to go over? Cuff Obama, Brennan, Hillary and fifty other people? That’s not going to happen.” So, he selects B.

Well look, this was always headed to the Senate. Everything in the media is for show. A kangaroo court. A show trial.

The answer is, as always, aggressive grassroots communications directed at the GOP Senators to stand their ground. And if they lose their minds and take out Trump, we end them. No Republican who votes to remove survives the next election. We wipe them out. And we pray there’s no violence, but honestly I don’t see how they contain this. It’s a coup d’etat, and you either fight for your country, or, like in Turkey, you wait for the Rulers to show up and execute the opposition.

But, let’s let history be our guide. Romney-esque squish Sen Gardner (R-CO) signed on as a co-sponsor of Graham’s amendment following a wave of pressure from Repubs in Colorado. Those guys LOVE their Senate seats. If he votes to remove, he is voting to lose his seat by 30 points. If we’re gonna have a dictatorship, I’m gonna vote Gardner out of office, and get it over with.

    Total destruction.

The GOP does not want that. They don’t mind losing Senate control, but they do mind losing 30 seats.

This is a nightmare. What do We, the People, do? Please don’t tell me this can wait until the election and just to vote. This cannot stand. Where the hell is Barr and Durham? Why are they pretending to be doing something? They have let us come aware of what we know, if only to rub it in our faces when they try to convict our President on trumped up charges, no pun intended. I had thought these were the Dems and some of the GOP trying to save their butts on being exposed on their corruption in Ukraine, and not really planned that far in advance. I had thought this was a good opportunity to take with this whistle blower, all waiting to pounce for anything that can be twisted into a slip-up by our President. In that case, they must have had a hard time to find something “wrong” until now. Again, this cannot stand because it is totally bogus to begin with and what do we do to help support our President? I thought a huge march on DC would be good, the weather is getting cold, though. But we can’t let this play out and just post comments until election next year, it would be too late.

    • I am not sure what we do Kaco.

We are all plowing new ground here.

Everything about Donald Trump and his Presidency is new ground.

The way he ran is campaign, the way he runs his administration.

So right now I am not at all sure what we, the Deplorables do, and where we go from here.

But I am not ready yet to give up and say that Trump is out and Pence and Haley are in.

We are writing the game plan almost as we go.

Or it appears to be so.

Everyone needs to take a breath and stay calm.

We all knew there would be a time when we might need to act and it appears that that time is coming close.

Exactly how and what each of of does next is important.

Rain an everlasting hellfire down on your elected Senators in the form of emails and phone calls is one idea.

      And meant it.

Really let these traitors know that we meant every word.

Call all of the offices of the 32 house members who’s districts voted in favor of trump, but went Dem in 2018.

Hold these 32 Dems’ feet to the fire. IT IS POSSIBLE that they vote against impeachment. The only thing the Dems DO NOT want to do is lose their power and House Majority. Make sure these 32 Democrats know that if they vote for impeachment, they will lose their seats come 2020 and they will never be in office again.

This fight in the house is not over, do not fall into the trap of thinking that the house vote is already over. We need to fight the entire time, all out. The details and facts are in our favor, and that means something.

The Truth is our sword and shield.

Also, take a listen to the War Room Impeachment podcast, it’s on every day, every single day, this week twice a day. With Stephen Miller, Steve Bannon, and Raheem Kassam. Today they had on Mark Meadows. Amazing guests daily. Spread the facts and truth.

I’ve said it before … you can’t trust the Senate. It isn’t “ours”. At all. It’s part and parcel of the Deep State. I said all this had to be stopped at the House. I wasn’t kidding. Everyone thought the Senate would hold or stop it all. I’d love to be wrong, but I don’t think I am. The Senate will mimic the House in all the shenanigans to provide cover to impeach.

And if you think the gov’t agents would just stand down if the people rose up … you haven’t been paying close attention. Back in Obama’s regime, when the gov’t shut down, armed Park Rangers escorted visitors out of the park out West under threat of the gun and wouldn’t let them stop for even a bathroom break. It’s the blue wall on steroids. Agents will follow orders. Most gov’t agencies now have armed agents. Plus a stockpile of weapons and ammo.

The other thing I think that has been planned … think about it … If you’re going to do all this to impeach Trump … do you think they’ll stop there? Nope. There’s a plan to remove Pence, too. Count on it. Deep State wants back in power. At all costs. This is a full up, all out coup. Their backs are against the wall with prison their only other option. Don’t underestimate how far they’ll go. They don’t think about the fallout, only the path to power.

I personally don’t think they’re all that bright, but they have two major thing going for them. A heck of a lot of Deep State gov’t workers in DC and the MSM. This farce with Schiff is hilarious in its ineptness and is only going forward because of those two things. Reminds me of Inspector Clouseau.

There was no chance of this getting stopped in the House. They decided years ago that they were going to do this, and to hell with the costs. They will make up any violation of law they need to, fabricate testimony, coach witnesses, and just flat-out lie. Their base will love it, and they will vote to impeach Trump. It doesn’t matter what the GOP House does or says. The decision has been made.

      That’s why Ryan threw the 2018 mid-terms.

        This is very interesting.

Yet, I just don’t see this President dragging the nation through this spectacle when there are no people from within the agencies willing to stand up and speak up against this coup. Our President would know that people will turn on him in an instant if they thought he was willing to play their hearts in this manner. I would like to think that is so about him.

        I originally thought that Bolton was behind the whistle-leaker because he is and has always been a neo-con and didn’t like the President’s fresh approach with this new leader of the Ukraine which caused him to be fired;

but as the information unfolds it reeks more of just a really bad screenplay devised by Schift and Pelosi, being overrun by her AOC+3 (and maybe a little bit of dementia) gave Schift free reign to start this process in order to make sure no one like Trump rises again in the future so changed my mind instead to think Bolton is simply out for revenge for being so publicly fired, and he was fired so hoping he can regain some street cred by going along with this coup.

With all that said, am sure there is definitely psy-ops at play, hoping to despirit the hundreds of thousands who turn up to the rallies and silently go about their lives, voting for MAGA.

This is an interesting link A2, and will re-read it, and will listen to the full video in hopes of picking up some ways to identify psychological operations as we proceed through this nightmare.

        Thank you for the link.

  40. MDNA I says:

Kudos to The Federalist’s David Marcus for an excellent post on the 5 Reasons A Senate Trial Would Be A Nightmare for Democrats. As a former Secretary of the US Senate who is pretty familiar with Senate procedure, I’d like to add a sixth: Blocking a “unanimous consent request” or “motion to proceed” to a Senate trial.

The danger for Democrats is less the trial but having one Senator object to proceeding to a trial. That would trigger at least 30 hours of debate (equally divided between Democrats and Republicans, and only after a cloture motion is filed to end debate). And whether it garners the necessary 60 votes or not, the debate would probably continue for at least another 30 hours.

You said it all, Dutchman, McConnell and his henchmen are absolute domestic enemies of the Constitution, and corrupt to the core swamp snakes……no doubt.

For me, the tell will be if President Trump has to release all of this to the public himself, in his own defense, because Barr is what you believe him to be, and Fred is granted a Presidential Pardon.

But, if Barr is what I believe him to be, then it’s all going to work out. If the IG report is so “damning,” and IF Durham has been conducting a Grand Jury for “quite some time,” and for both Barr and Durham to be globetrotting, gathering evidence (blackberries), interviewing so many known players, hell, a dozen books outlining the COUP have been written and are bestsellers!

The respectable and reliable John Solomon, Sara Carter, Joe DiGenova and Victoria Toensing, Fred Fleitz, and many others ALL believe Barr will ultimately do the right thing…….I will freely admit that Bill Barr may very well wish to all that is holy he had not accepted the job, and ultimately he wants more than anything to “preserve the institutions” as much as possible, BUT, what about the “institution” of the Presidency of the United States, and the Constitution of the United States?

Whatever his honest, provable failings may or may not be, Bill Barr is no fool. He could not possibly NOT realize what will happen if these treasonous bastards are allowed to remove our president from office in a COUP. I am hesitant to say it out loud, what would happen IF, but I think we all fully recognize the very real mortal danger that many influential elected leaders would find themselves.

Mitch McConnell and the rest of the COUP PLOTTING TRAITORS are literally daring Attorney General Barr and Special Prosecutor Durham to “do the right thing” and defend the Constitution and President Trump.

Don’t get me wrong….hell, I’m ready for ANYTHING……but, at the end of the day, I’m betting on the Constitution to win out.

But by the same token, I also do not understand why POTUS isn’t sounding the alarm. Pride?

I am convinced that the Senate WILL remove POTUS unless we, the People, stop them. Once the Senate votes to convict it does not appear they have any choice but to remove POTUS from office.

If we are going to “have it out”, I hope it is before he is removed from office, not after. The moment he’s gone the swamp refills, and measures taken to prevent anyone from ever threatening it again. I stand ready to do what is asked of us, either by POTUS or by others with appropriate organization and plans.
