Senate Republicans will call witnesses? Trump has no say in the matter?

“Senate Democrats issued stark warnings on Wednesday that Republicans would severely damage the institution of Congress if they acquiesced to a push from Trump allies to haul former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter for testimony about their actions in Ukraine.

A top Biden ally, Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE), told The Daily Beast that calling the 2020 presidential contender—who served for 35 years in the Senate—and his son for testimony “would be literally rolling a grenade down the aisle of the Senate” that would have “lasting consequences” on the upper chamber’s ability to work together.

“Look, Joe Biden is well known, widely respected, and frankly beloved by many in the Senate on both sides of the aisle,” said Coons. “The impeachment process is already disruptive enough. I think we should be approaching it with seriousness, not by entertaining conspiracy theories that are utterly unfounded. And I think it would be a very unfortunate move.”

The impeachment is against President Trump not Senate Republicans. Trump handles his own defense and calls his own witnesses not the Senate Republicans.

It’s the Senate who will put Trump on trial

The Senators are the Jury in this trial (if ever happens). When was the last time anyone heard of a Jury that’s calls in witnesses? This is not a Grand Jury, it would be an Impeachment Trial. The Democrats have no say in who the Defence might choose to call.

And Hunter Biden definitely needs to be called in to testify and answer question under oath! Creepy Uncle Joe, too – NO ONE is above the law, or we have no law!

The Republican Senators best be getting their intel, questions, and act together for this “circus” to come.

There is an interesting similarity to Biden that many are overlooking. Recall the democrats put out the call to remove VP Chaney for his relationship with Haliburton and Haliburton receiving contracts for US Army Logistics Infrastructure and Logistics support.

Not defending Chaney but al least his guys were qualified to do the work.

When the aid and infrastructure spigot, was fully turned on, all was forgiven (even by Senator Biden). Heck the democrats even forgave Bush for his “war crimes”.

Enter Obama and Uni-Party, and the spigot becomes a raging torrent of money spread from the Ukraine, to Afghanistan and to the Arabian Peninsula. All was good.

Then into this pit of inequity the Bad Orange Man strode, and now there is turmoil in the land. The devils minions are now crying please make the Bad Orange Man go away.

One of my Chinese friends who is libertarian (yes I understand what that means) and did not vote in 2016 has said the only reason she is going to vote in 2020 is because she believes that POTUS has been treated unfairly by the MSM and she wants to send an unmistakeable message of support. She is actively working her community to drum up support for POTUS in 2020. 100% of my Indian friends/acquaintances did not vote for POTUS. Over 50% of my Korean friends/acquaintances voted for POTUS. One Korean friend, who self identifies as a single-issue voter, said she voted for POTUS only because he was more pro life than his opponent. I’m sure what all this all means except that Asian voters are about as monolithic as a voting block as African Americans (which means neither really is!)

Most of my Chinese friends definitely lean toward the traditional Democrat party (not the ultra leftist version that the party has been trending toward in recent years) because they believe, albeit mistakenly, that the Democrat party is for the little guy. IMHO, the extreme left tilt of the Democrat party is a big turnoff for many of them and I think, much like the other hyphenated Americans that the Democrat party has relied upon and taken for granted in past election cycles will not reliably vote for an ultra leftist Democrat candidate. Many of my Chinese friends lived and grew up under communism as children and young adults and came to the US as students and stayed (immigrated legally) and raised families. However, they vote very differently than say the Cubans and former Soviet block country citizens (primarily Czechs) that I know who vote (without exception) for the most conservative candidate on the ballot in every election. This has always been puzzling to me.

November 9, 2019 10:00 AM by Hugh Fitzgerald

Among the Trump Administration’s most praiseworthy decisions was to end American funding for UNRWA, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) that was established in 1949 by the U.N., in its Resolution 302 (IV), to “carry out in collaboration with local governments the direct relief and works programs” to help in the rehabilitation of Palestinian Arab refugees, and to “consult with the interested Near Eastern Governments concerning measures to be taken by them preparatory to the time when international assistance for relief and works projects is no longer.” It was always intended to be a short-term measure, helping those refugees until they could be integrated into the Arab societies they now lived in.

I hope it stays in the news so more and more people become aware of the known convicted pedophile and all the powerful visitors to his “island “.

Hopefully there will be some justice for the brave women who were willing to testify against him. They were used and abused for years as children by Epstein and his friends.

The meme keeps Epstein’s canceled-by-death trial in the news and offers his accusers some protection. Can you imagine all they have gone through, and then now having it all being swept back under the rug??

In my opinion, this is an ominous sign for all those who “have been in control,” of our society. Of course, this is an excellent meme, that is very effective. It is simple, humorous, and contains a kernel of truth. But more importantly, it shows that the populace are waking up. They are no longer accepting the lies that they are being fed by the media, government, FBI, Department of Justice, Medical and other so-called “experts.” It is too late, and there are too many who have become awake, for them to institute their typical response, created by the CIA after the Kennedy Warren Report, “Conspiracy theorist.” Hopefully within days, the multiple lies concerning the Russian hoax and Ukraine will help establish and expand this attitude within the population. What will come next?:
“Stephen Paddock was not the lone shooter in Las Vegas.”
        “9/11 was staged.”
        “Fill-in the blank …” Etc.

    Thirty years ago tonight,

We as Berlin Brigade soldiers had done our jobs to the fullest and held back many divisions of elite Russian and East German troops who had for many years, trained for the day they would eventually take West Berlin by force. But that day never came.

I am a proud member of the Berlin Brigade, the last outpost of freedom behind the Iron Curtain and am still proud of the fact I served amongst the bravest and best soldiers in occupied Russian territory while knowing full well what our mission was should they try to take West Berlin by force.

We were to give it our best and fight like demons, giving our lives only as a last resort until reinforcements could arrive from 110 miles away or even further. We were surrounded by 54 divisions of Soviet Armor. Soviet Hind D attack Helicopters, T-80 tanks and MIG fighter jets were common sights at Doughboy city. Soviets would interfere with our communications frequently during training.

We were only three infantry battalions strong with a smattering of support battalions and special ops, along with the French and English who had their sectors to secure and not a day went by that we didn’t think about how small a force we would be against astronomical odds but they would’ve played hell trying to take it from us because we trained for that very occurrence and we trained HARD.

We were in effect a modern day ALAMO

We trained hard, constantly and the physical fitness was grueling. We had to be strong and sharp.

    Our mission was
A show of strength and to deter Communist aggression. To keep West Berlin free.

We trained throughout the city. Doughboy City , A MOUT training area designed for us to be experts at in city fighting.

And the Grunewald, the forests of Berlin to face assaults in the woods.

Thank you to all of my brothers who stood beside me and those that were there before me.

And the party after the wall fell was unexpected and phenomenal

You are the very reason Germany has its freedom.
