The existing home sales number released this morning is a fantastic number. Everywhere but the northeast sales were up appx 5% year over year… and the median price increased appx 5%. That is a booming market.

What they do is compare September sales to August sales so we get appx a 2% decline… which is misleading because August is always a stronger number due to families wanting to move before school starts.

Then they compare it to predicted numbers and it is disappointing. Varney is such an idiot. He rightly decries the negative reporting on Mcdonalds because they didn’t meet expectations yet had a same store sales increase of appx 5%… yet in the same breath he moans about the disappointing home sales with the same increase in sales. Not blaming Varney he’s just ignorant… but more fake news.

Yes, I have noticed that for years! Let’s make a prediction based on fantasy about how well a company or whatever must do, and then report the result as negative news when e.g. Company X’s $100,000,000 in profits is a 5% gain, but your prediction said it should have been 10%! And so the company has failed and the economy is hurting.

Not unlike telling the winner of a foot race that his win is actually a disappointment, because he won by 25 feet instead of the 50 feet that you were expecting! 😉

Am so glad I donated to Hawley’s campaign at the last election, even though I do not live in Missouri. Did that with nine other candidates across the country who either did not go on to win or were big disappointments, so my batting average is about 10%. Pathetic, but will still do it again next year!

What’s worse, getting arrested and being hidden from view to live out the rest of her days? Or because of her unquenchable thirst for power and attention, thrusting herself into public for everyone to watch her rot and become the butt of every political joke from now until the return of Jesus? Klobuchar, Yovanovitch discuss Ukraine solidarity

“I will get to the serious part,” she said, Skyping with the US Ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch, who was spending her Sunday evening with a Minneapolis panel gathered at noon-thirty. The point of the day: An update and encouragement about what needs to be done in and for Ukraine, under threat by the Russians, and trying to eliminate internal corruption.

The task will be to educate our own citizenry,” Klobuchar said.

She’s pushing for an independent commission to look into what happened in the election related cyber attacks that “17 US intelligence agencies know is real” so that we know the truth, and countries like Germany and France, whose elections are coming up, may learn from our experiences.

I haven’t posted any comments in the past couple of days, but have read the comments on all the topics. It appears a large group of my fellow Treepers are concerned that our President, despite his best efforts, will be herded out of office before 2024. Like them, I think everyone should be outraged by the tactics being used by the House Dems in their efforts to oust our VSGPDJT.

Which is why I am putting this here: THIS IS FAILING.

    Clues:

Look at the polls, which Dems have tried to influence so they can justify their self-licking ice cream cone….THEY AREN’T GETTING THERE, where they need to be to pull the trigger.

House Dems now shielding transcripts. Why would they hinder themselves thusly, hmmmmmm?

Sydney Powell’s gonna lay an egg today.

    Trump/Hannity: Trump invoked Barr. HUUUUUUGE.

These words making their way into the lexicon: Crowdstrike. Mifsud. Blackberrys. HAKLUYT. Clapper/Brennan/DEEP STATE (avoided like the plague til now)

Graham unable to firm up and maintain narrative.

Circular firing squad cleaning their weapons.

Obama smooching his Soros-luv-thang…and applying the lotion. Sorry for the mental image…get over it.

ULTIMATE TRUMPOMETER: EVERY ONE OF THOSE MANIACS AT A TRUMP RALLY HAS AT LEAST ONE PITCHFORK….VOTERS SO WOKE THEY ARE PERPETUALLY INSOMNIAC. Fear of the constituancy is a real entity. This is not lost on those Senate morons who otherwise may be flirting with the sedition whores…

The Congressional Ruling Class will probably cut their losses, flip their colleages out into the path of the Trump Train, and live to subvert another day. The Government Institution Imbeds will duck, dodge, and remain to wait out his term.

Finally, the man who is bold enough to TELL HIS ENEMY WHAT HE IS GOING TO DO BEFORE HE GETS VOTED INTO OFFICE, GO ON TO ACTUALLY DO IT, AND PUT THE WORD “LYNCHING” INTO A TEXT TO PRIME THE OUTRAGE PUMP ALREADY WORKING IN OVERTIME, ISN’T SCARED TO FOLLOW THROUGH AND EXPECT RESULTS.

Our President is in it to win it, so we should quit expecting him to lose.

Like many others, I am really worried about the Senate Republicans. I am really worried that they will vote for impeachment. The IG and Barr/Durham reports really need to come out. The impeachment is all about getting the President out before the crimes are made public.

I don’t trust the Senate Republicans and I don’t trust Pence. Pence hasn’t come out against impeachment. If he thinks they can push out the President and anyone will vote for him, he’s nuts. The President’s supporters will not support a Republican party that helped to remove him.

They will vote for it. Count on it. Bet your house on it. We’re entering the dimension of Greek tragedy at this point — of the Fates. The GOP can no more escape theirs than the Democrats can theirs. Only Donald Trump can arrest this terrible, inexorable momentum, the destiny of corruption.

      • jrapdx says:

Of course you don’t trust the Senate Republicans. Why would you? Very few in Congress have proved themselves trustworthy, party notwithstanding.

But for several reasons Republicans (with maybe a couple of exceptions) in the Senate won’t vote for removing the President from office. A big factor is avoiding the intense wrath, near open rebellion, of the voters.

Also it’s no coincidence PT has been boosting the election of Republicans. Look at NC and LA in recent weeks. PT’s campaigning for Republican candidates is pure gold. Why kill the goose laying golden eggs?

And think about the record amounts of money PT’s efforts have raised for the RNC and his own campaign. Believe me they need the funds to compete in close contests around the country. PT has the option to share his funds with other Republican candidates, so he controls where tens of millions potentially go. You can bet there’s a “quid pro quo” for getting a chunk of that dough.

So I think it’s a really good bet the Senate would fall in line. Anyway it probably won’t get that far, the House “inquiry” is only for effect, and getting goofier by the day.

And I dont mean we would Vote them out of office.

Literally, remove them, by picking them up and or dragging them out, by their hair. WE will bring in OUR own ARMED SECURITY. They need to KNOW this.

WE know this is all a charade. They need to KNOW WE KNOW. They need to KNOW what WE are WILLING AND ABLE to do about it.

Just 1% of Trump voters equals 650,000 Patriots. 1 measly percent. With AR-15s, willing to save the Republic.

I think 1% is a conservative estimate of those willing to do whats necessary.

The senate Republicans, if they have any common sense at all, should be very worried about those that support PDJT.

It will get really ugly if the Senate actually holds an impeachment vote. Any Republican that votes for impeachment can be assumed to be guilty of crimes against the people, otherwise, why would they vote against PDJT. The impeachment effort is solely to hide the criminality of the deep state, the MSM and the politicians.

    1. If the house impeaches will the Senate trial be able to be televised?
    2. Can the President in his defense at trial declassify everything? Might everything that has been covered up by the FBI/CIA/DOJ etc come out during this process?

The thought of EVERYTHING coming out to the public at a trial in the Senate has me wondering if PDT can turn this negative into a positive.

“Stand on the line, Lindsey! John McCain is dead. You cannot save him or his reputation from his dishonorable, even criminal past. Senate Judiciary Chair? Hold the hearings you promised. Call the damn witnesses. As Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, every single member of the U.S. electorate is your constituent. You owe us good government. Do your job!”

Steven Munchin, Ben Carson testify on affordable housing on Fox 10/22/19 with Director Calabria

Wow! Great job by very intelligent men looking to the future. Beyond the typical corruption of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac, the burst in the economy has presented some problems for new employees in areas where manufacturing is seeing a revival. Carson, Munchin and Calabria stand their ground against a hostile House, as if ANY of these representative have solved a problem in their entries careers…and still haven’t offered a budget, approved trade agreements, etc., etc., etc..

A Do-Nuthin’ House has no business raking these people over the coals. Perhaps LEARNING something? THAT would be a good idea. Our reps would still award Frank Raines a huge bonus for screwing up his baliwick. Oh, and Jamie Gorelick and Rham Emanuel, too. Talk about pay-to-play…

Affordable housing means nothing if those involved don’t have access to jobs, early education through vocational training, food and gardens, social and medical services, policing and fire stations, transportation, religious counseling and other such services to help them excel at that their daily lives. ONe can put “affordable” housing in the wilds, but it people can’t get jobs and services to satisfy their basis needs, forget the housing.

I saw this in Chicago’s Cabrini Green and Robert Taylor Homes, highrise ghettos that became more and more isolated as the mom & pop retail, previously the heart of their communities, were driven out of business by crime and…crime.

Using Chicago as an example but this also applies to many other cities, in its early days a grid was established in working-class neighborhoods where every 8 square-blocks or so there was a bar, a church, a school, specialty food markets (butcher, baker, green grocer), as well as mostly three-flats — some over the retail mentioned previously, some stand alone. As needed, other services developed to serve the community and its surrounds Employment was largely local and the community also supported the culture of its residents.

Ben Carson, especially, is attempting to bring back the pride in community by emphasizing these “enterprise zones” that create a core stability in communities and the investment of FHA loans to those trying to make a lifelong commitment. By working with Steven Munchin to design a program that rewards the residents vs. the bureaucratic caretakers (Frank Raines Jamie Gorelick and Rham Emanuel took six-figure bonuses for doing what?).

HUD and the FHA are such money pits of corruption (see Catherine Austin-Fitts and many others), It’s amazing that Sec’y Carson has battled his way through the bureaucracy in such a short time to recognize and develop inter-agency plans to simplify what appears to be the goal: put more people in stable and affordable housing in supportive communities at the least cost to taxpayers. OR does our government use these agencies for other purposes?

Yep, yep, yep. Cancelling out pesky opposition votes by sheer
numbers, concentrations of units. For starters. Wholesale rewarding
of tax breaks for donors ( read through some of the state agencies
criterias for “sponsoring” affordable housing, and smell the rampant
        graft).

Corrupt local school boards load up buses and take kids across
town so that affluent areas can qualify for title 1 status.

And, they are the bondits, absolute, non pariel, nothing can
compare perpetual wet dream. Most all of this is bond financed.
And, you would be shocked at some of the fraudulent appraisals
that get run across when these places get refied and subsidized.
Sometimes 3 times the prior purchase price.

These are just some off the top of my head examples. Immersed
myself in all things HUD decades ago. I’m still scrubbing all the
        filth off.

YTG, yes, but I am not shocked as I have seen much of what you address. I have “done”; i.e “fought” HUD, schools, appraisal corruption, special taxing areas, child trafficking (my original battle), etc. and share your feeling every night: the filth just accumulates. Frankly, I’m not young, but am continually amazed at how much pure evil exists. One never get accustom to it.

The patterns are amazingly simple for all of this.

The “wealth” (the big boys) is in the poverty.
(Everyone else’s, measurable by government standards).

Once you take any area that’s essentially built out,
and do a before/ after study ( free meals % in schools
WAS the gold standard), then you can see what’s afoot.

Just for jollies. Look up ( use something besides GOOGLE)
“Successful opposition to affordable housing”. It can not be
found. Anywhere. This predates all the search burying efforts
from decades before Google, facebook, etc.

Oh yes, the Legacy families and their ken have ” with YUGE investments with “Do Not Disturb “signs on them. One also could see that today when Munchin and Carson testified before the House Housing Committee. The obvious characters want the FHA/HUD programs left in place, no matter how much data prove them disasters.

Great stuff, but I expect nothing to come of it as always. This is an example of the easy roadmap to rapid discrediting of the “justification” for the CI investigation of Trump and company and the Mueller investigation, a roadmap which is not being used which, to me, simply indicates that the “investigations” are just part of a slow walked farce. Add this to the Rand Paul interview on Tucker Carlson’s show last night where it was asked, with no answer, why Graham is doing NOTHING of what he has promised to do.

Of course, we here all know WHY Graham does nothing, but the only MSM network that supposedly supports Trump doesn’t know the situation well enough to publicly expose the why, at least from what I’ve seen there.

    Question for Ristvan,

Since we have heard Durham has found something of significance and if it is about Ukraine and possible money laundering with Americans……

Can AG Barr announce he is opening an investigation in a money laundering operation between Ukrainians and Americans with possible links to back to Congress.

And would this type of announcement halt the impeachment process BS in its tracks?

I just emailed my senator, Lindsey Graham. I noticed on the email form that there was no listed category for my concern. Nothing for “President Trump”, “Democrat Lawlessness,” “The Coup Attempt,” or even “Politics.” I had to choose “Ethics,” the only thing remotely close to the subject. That should tell you something right there.
