Speaker Pelosi Justifies Effort: Investigating Political Corruption is Grounds for Impeachment…

Nancy Pelosi released a “fact sheet” outlining her justification for the impeachment process.  Within the justification Speaker Pelosi/Lawfare intentionally conflates investigating past political corruption/interference (2016) with the current 2020 election.

Speaker Pelosi’s self-serving position boils down to: any effort by the executive branch to investigate prior political corruption is grounds for presidential impeachment.  READ:

Cold anger no longer describes my feelings for these despicable cretins. It is a sad day for America when we continually are subjected to this BS and have to watch two tiers of Justice. The Democrats are dead with this impeachment scam, and if in the slight chance the corruption actually leads to the removal of President Trump, the country will never rest again.

That’s the genius of the welfare state. Give people just enough to survive, while threatening to cut it off. They become endlessly quiescent.

Food stamps are welfare for both rich and poor. Trump’s economic boom is actually bad for big agri-business and for the bureaucracy.

The guaranteed annual income is intended to be the permanent end to upward mobility and ambition. The rich actually support the welfare state they fund, as long as they benefit by the end of class upheaval. Call it neo-feudalism. The rich stay rich, the poor stay poor. As long as there’s a floor to the poverty, the poor will accede. As in Venezuela, as in Cuba, the poor soon find that the promise is a lie.

If Trump supporters haven’t marched on DC, held protests, rioted, burned anything down, or beat anti-Grump supporters with axe handles in the streets, then all that will happen when POTUS is removed from office is more of the same that’s so far happened.

A leader would be required. They know that. Leaders are few and far between. When MLK Jr was murdered, civil rights fell into the hands of Jesse Jackson and Sharpton. Tragedy became farce.

Suppressing Trump is all. The Tea Party had no leader. That was it’s virtue. That was it’s doom. The likes of Romney, who could be defeated by the aggressive cow Candy Crowley, is the norm. After Trump, the inexorable march to the totalitarian state will resume.

GrandpaM, I can truly understand. Cold Anger just doesn’t cut it for me anymore. Just watching and educating myself about this entire weaponization of our government by previous Administrations sets me off. The President said at one of his rally’s last week “Where’s Hunter”? They even turned it into a t-shirt.

We know he’s the consummate counter-puncher….and he’s usually spot on with his observations. So, where are the Republicans? Such a feckless class of pansy asses that knuckle down to these Dam Marxists. No fight, no honor! I think this fact, upsets me even more than the despicable actions of the Dems.

Now we find out that Pierre Delecto (Mittens Romney) hides behind an alias identity slamming the President at every turn while patting himself on the back. What sick bastard does something like this and can honestly serve as a US Senator? Trust me, if this gets to the Senate, and a vote is called, we stand on the precipice of a civil calamity America has never seen.

That’s what really angers me….the fact that they are pushing this madness with such childish disregard to the damage that will be done.

In order to tear the house down they sow chaos and incite civil war. Most of the Dems are useful idiots of the radical left and are unaware of the endgame.

Globalists of the George Soros strain are pulling the strings of the Dem leadership. The radical left sees the impeachment strategy as an opportunity to accomplish what they failed to do under Obama – destroy America and everything she stands for.

Senator L. Graham, representing the beautiful state of South Carolina, has, during this last week, exhausted – nay, killed, whatever good will I was trying to preserve in his regard. I have held on to hope, since his Senate mentor and bestie expired, that he had returned to his earlier ideals, to his honor as a military man and member of the JAG, and to his love of the law for its own good and righteous sake.

Graham, as Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, has failed. He must resign the Chairmanship, even, and especially if, he has been pressured by Mitch to maintain the UniParty course.

Lindsey Graham cannot recover either the time or the opportunities lost that would have required testimony before the Judiciary Committee from the bad actors. From the moment of the explosion of his Syrian bluster last week, threatening to become President Trump’s worst nightmare, to his deer-in-the-headlights backtracking on the same topic for the benefit of Sunday TV, this member of the U.S. Senate does not know if he is coming, going, or running in place.

As a result of Graham’s unreliable history in matters that matter, we Conservatives of every stripe owe him nothing more any longer than the turning of our collective back to his face. Despite multiple, public, on camera promises to “get to the bottom of things”, Senator Graham, as Senate Judiciary Chair, has failed in every aspect of his own publicly stated mission on behalf of the American people. Every Senate Committee Chair Is responsible to the entire nationwide electorate. No exceptions; no excuses.

Graham was used by No Name. Now he is being used by Mitch. Lindsey has shown himself, more clearly than ever before, to be Mitch’s handpicked bitch. Mitch’s beloved UniParty – a singular entity of “Republicans” and Democrats together in the Senate, is clearly supporting the goals of the Lawfare group that is determined to expel our President from office.

This is what our Legislative Branch of the United States government has become.

This was not pleasant to write. I used to like Senator Graham. I used to support Senator No Name. I even liked Mittens – sort of. This has all been a terrible lesson for the last twenty years. But, a gentleman whom I would never have imagined to be an American hero, surfaced, ran for the Office of President, won, and has worked tirelessly for the benefit of all of us ever since. Things may get worse before they get better but there is no giving up. President Trump forges ahead every day, no matter what. He is the Leader we have awaited to show us the way to clean up the mess and clean out the trash.

Someone in the Trump admin, (maybe one of his lawyers?) needs to take this document, correct it immediately, send her a copy and demand a retraction within 24 hours. She won’t of course.
Then, when she doesn’t, someone in the govt needs to bring a Federal lawsuit against Pelosi personally (charging that; she had the facts in hand, willfully ignored them and published slander, then she again willfully ignored a notice to correct) for slander and notify ALL the media that publish this that; 1. it is slander and, 2. they will be added to the suit if they publish it again 3. further the press that did publish this document MUST print the govt rebuttal within 24 hours or be considered complicit in the slander.

Seems to me that since it is fact that he/she committed perjury the senate judiciary committee could supeona them. He/ she lost their whistleblower status when they committed a crime while whistleblowing. Better yet the FBI could investigate them and skip the congressional hearing. May not mean a lot but at least it would be a small counterattack against the coup. If they are allowed to get away with a crime w/o consequences they will continue to steamroll along.

It’s okay to argue that there was no quid pro quo, because there wasn’t. But it’s also good to add “And so what if there had been a quid pro quo? What would be wrong with that?”

    • Completely agree, now it has become an idiotic talking point and worse, one which constricts President Trump in future foreign affairs diplomatic efforts.

Further, I resent that the crazies put our President in a situation in which he felt he needed to release the transcript publicly. As President he has full authority on foreign relations and it was nobody’s business what was discussed. Yet another attempt at diminishing what Trump, as PRESIDENT, is able to accomplish. It also sets a terrible precedent.

Speaker Pelosi’s self-serving position boils down to: any effort by the executive branch to investigate prior political corruption is grounds for presidential impeachment. A.K.A, Constitutional Crises, if I understand correctly the legislative branch is assuming the responsibilities of the executive by telling the executive what can and can not be investigated and prosecuted, (Separation of Powers). And, that we could be looking at this in as little as 6 weeks. You do things our way or you will be impeached.

The Biden arrogant, bragging video on the firing of a Ukrainian prosecutor is a preview of what is to come in a Senate trial. No matter what type of evidence is provided in the President’s defense it will be ignored or spun 180. There is another aspect to all this that comes to mind. Voter fraud! I don’t believe this has been investigated nearly enough. Think about this ‘IF’ Soros or anyone else had the ability to falsify votes where would our congress be? What would it look like? IMHO, what we have now is proof. We have no representation in congress and that seems to be the reason the left was so overwhelmingly confident they would win with Hillary. It would also explain the blatant disregard for our vote on our president. Strongholds would get bigger, just like now. Even though we have visual evidence America is with Trump.
Remember Obama assuring Americans elections can’t be ‘fixed’ Then the huge outcry over the loss? They project their intentions, it’s their pattern.
Now this statement of implied corruption, a basic ‘line in the sand’ for Trump. I believe Pelosi has held this mess over president Trumps head from the start and now it’s ‘damn the torpedoes’ full steam ahead. It’s a win win for Trump if he holds this line and loss for demms.

I think it is past time to bring in the military to sort this whole mess out. You have a congress in full-on open coup against a duly elected President. You have a media industry that is assisting. The military should come in and arrest ALL of these traitors, D and R, and try them in a military court. This would not take long, military trials do not allow courtroom theatrics or legal shenanigans so they go fairly quick. If you’re clean you walk, if you’re dirty you do a stretch in a military prison…end of story.

Since John McCain was nominated I stopped identifying myself as a Republican, after proudly doing so for 30 years. I realized that the Republican Party was barely indistinguishable from the Dems, especially with the way even McCain’s own campaign staff willingly and gleefully went after Sarah Palin. Then the GOP pitted themselves with the Dems against Tea Party candidates, preferring to lose seats in the House and Senate rather than have us Deplorables elect true conservatives. Then, of course, they nominated Romney who stood there in the debates and basically said, “I agree with Obama” so many times that I figured it didn’t matter who won. The Dems and Republicans are all in the Deep Swamp together, and I am anxiously waiting for Trump to pull the plug and drain it already! If there aren’t some serious indictments coming out of all of this “investigation theatre” I may very well just stop voting.
