  1. Tulsi Gabbard Cult; some form of Hinduism. I say some form, because the cult her parents/she were a part of is led by one man…cult leader….gays must hate her. very anti-gay.

….Gabbard was raised in Hawaii by her parents Mike Gabbard and Carol Porter Gabbard. She was born in American Samoa before they moved to Hawaii, was home-schooled, aside from a two years studying in the Philippines which she rarely speaks about. Her father served in the Hawaii state house before Tulsi followed suit and both campaigned against gay rights as one of their main platforms. According to an excellent and in-depth profile by Kerry Howley, published in New York Magazine, “Tulsi Gabbard Had a Very Strange Childhood” a serious influence for all the Gabbards was an group best known as the “Science of Identity Foundation.”

Science of Identity was founded in the 70s by a white man named Chris Butler as off-shoot of the wider Hare Krishna movement, , who also goes by the guru name of Jagad Guru Siddhaswarupananda Paramahamsa. Butler grew a sigifigant following in Hawaii, and the organization was influenced by his own teachings and beliefs. To be clear, Butler and company do not identify as Hindu and the tenets of the group are a mixed amalgamation of various philosophies and Butler’s own beliefs. According to New York magazine:

Butler taught vegetarianism, sexual conservatism, mind-body dualism, and disinterest in the material world. He taught a virulent homophobia, skepticism of science, and the dangers of public schools. He had been associated with Hare Krishna, and in fact claimed to have been given his Sanskrit name, Siddhaswarupananda Paramahamsa, by the founder of the Hare Krishna movement, but by the time he encountered the Gabbards, he’d started his own group. His teachings revolved around worship of Krishna but differed from those of Hare Krishna, in that he instructed his followers to learn from only a single guru — himself.

Gabbard’s family. according to interviews with Gabbard’s aunt and others, were part of this group, and it might have, among other things influence Gabbard’s father’s virulent’s anti-gay stance in the 1990s when he was in the Hawaii legislature. Gabbard’s connection to Butler and his devotees has been questioned for many years, as has her parents‘. Publicly, Gabbard;s Father claims identity as a Catholic but admits to knowing Butler, while her mother was Secretary/Treasure of Butler’s organization until 2000.

The narrative of Tulsi Gabbard is that her viewpoints, especially her anti-gay and other stances, have evolved over the years, specifically after her post-9/11 service in the military. But beyond her parents connections, Gabbard remains tied to and therefore possibly influenced by the Science of Identity Foundation – because the group and Butler are very much still around. Gabbard’s husband, Abraham Williams grew up with Gabbard in the same Science of Identity Circles, and other members of her campaign are connected to the Butlers, including Sunil Khemaney, who New York Magazine notes “runs a business owned by Chris Butler’s wife, and former members of the sect say he is Butler’s right-hand man. Gabbard also appointed a Butler-adjacent health food store owner as her chief of staff…….(more at the link).

Thanks for the clip. One of the great films of all time. They sure haven’t been making movies of that caliber in recent years. I too like the way the film depicts the ethics of the workers (astronauts in this clip) vs. “managers”, politicians, press, et. al., who leech off their labor. Pretty much the same as parasitic globalists stealing wealth of American middle class, isn’t it?

      • I think that Tulsi is an insurance policy for the Democrats. So many Democrats left the plantation (#walkaway one example), and they know it, they also know what Ross Perot did and how that got BillyBob Clinton elected. So have a “moderate Democrat” that attacks a very well know GUILTY Hillary, she is young, she is pretty, she is ex-military, and now she is getting attacked. So what do Moderate Democrats think?
So why not follow the non-severe left (oh yeah I have a bridge to see ya) candidate this way they can go back to Democrat and away from the possibly impeached man.
Many say they do not like President Trump’s attacks, they do not like his mannerisms.
So here we have someone attacking mannerisms but poor dear little young thing (yup here is some swamp to sell ya) and oopsey, there ya go, she gets the pity vote because …EWahh-wahh, she is being attacked and it is not fair.
Yeah, no, I would not trust a democrat and their machinations, constant planning ahead, so why not use her to steal some million votes away from Trump.
I as well believe she is a “ploy” a plant! And she does hate the “Don”

Maybe there’s some way he can bring it before the full House, or could be some steps to resolve the dispute. This is China’s economic engine. I used the last two reported months plus December 2018, Which had the highest numbers for the last 24 months and therefore current top or peak. I dropped all categories with value under 15B

Wondering why there hasn’t been an October report? I posted without because this doesn’t follow the IMF,WTO, or OEC guidelines and I don’t think it has happened before. They are hiding. As a developing economy member these are required. Potential IMF,WTO & OEC repercussions for non reporting?

This information is inflows only, outflows not included. We know that their 6% growth is a fallacy BTW. Pick Your favorite example of a Primary or sub-type and have fun. PDJT is of course telling the truth, they have serious problems.

I would be shocked if Hillary hasn’t already had her goons get Tulsi all framed up. For better or worse, Tulsi will be going down. She doesn’t have the savvy or the resources to fight the forces that are lined up against her unless Trump steps in to help. Even then, it would depend on enough honest people in the DOJ & FBI coming forward to help as well. It’s also possible that if and when the whole spygate saga unwinds, it will bring down Hillary and her goons, thereby saving Tulsi’s ass in the process. Then she can go back to taking unjustified cheap shots at Trump.

It is easy to despise these hacks at the NY times. As you read their article, consider these examples of their editorializing (or should I say distortions and mis-directions?):

the beginnings of the Russia investigation, which Mr. Trump and his allies have attacked without evidence as a plot

investigators have sought help from governments in countries that figure into right-wing attacks and unfounded conspiracy theories about the Russia investigation

Just two examples within the first few paragraphs of their article. The authors Adam Goldman and William K. Rashbaum should be publicly shamed for this crap.

These “news reporters” are spinning a narrative that the Obama admin and its CIA/FBI/DOG/State are being unfairly smeared by “republican conspiracy theories”.

I don’t understand why everybody is disparaging Gabbard so much for her politics. Focusing on Gabbard’s politics totally MISSES THE POINT. Like “the enemy of my enemy is Tulsi Gabbard” or something. Geraldo wants to give her a cabinet position… total nonsensical point-missing.

The point isn’t whether or not Gabbard is a Moonbat (she is)
The point isn’t whether or not Gabbard supports Trump (she doesn’t)
The point isn’t whether or not Gabbard is a ‘moderate’ (she isn’t)

What should be of interest, IMO, about the Gabbard-Clinton episode is how the Democrat Machine is now — undeniably — destroying itself from the inside. Oh yeah… a little bonus: Hillary is dead-center involved. Clinton Turdnado, anybody? Hillary says: “Don’t mind if I do!”

Why can’t we just enjoy that for what it is? Why can’t we just twist that knife a little instead of focusing on the Chestnut Pineapple from the Land Of Aloha?

I say: let’s make fun of Hillary! Let Gabbard fritter off to the land of Misfit Moonbats, where she will be soon enough anyway.

We certainly don’t need any more useless “cabinet position” talk.

Watching and listening in utter disbelief the hysteria over the 50 soldier pull-out from Syria by the President. In amazement that up until 2 days ago, no one even remembered that Kurds exist in the vicinity with Turkey. And if they did, they sure didn’t lose sleep over it.

The power of the media really controls everyone. And maybe Lindsay Graham’s tweets.

    Let’s think. Just for a moment…

    1. POTUS is pulling out 50 soldiers. 50! Can we all say that again? 50!

    2. Kurds are an Iranian ethnic group native to Western Asia. They live in northwestern Iran, northern Iraq, and northern Syria. And by in large in southeastern Turkey. There are also exclaves of Kurds in central Anatolia and Khorasan. They’re spread out and generally attach themselves to anyone willing to help them militarily.

    3. Which brings me to this: US has! More than any other country in the world. US has been supplying Kurds with cash and military aid for years in exchange for ISIS resistance. Which brings me to another point…

    4. They didn’t help the US defeat ISiS, the US helped THEM defeat ISIS! The latter didn’t run around New York and Texas killing people creating a Caliphate. The Americans came to help the Kurds, the Muslims, the Yazidis in THEIR neighbourhood with THEIR enemies. Hence, no one is abandoning allies. The Americans WERE the allies who have finished their job in assisting friends.

    5. What is this nonsense about “abandoning allies looks bad to our other allies. They won’t trust us.” ….Come again?

Does anyone actually believe that wars with evil can be won without American intervention or assistance? If so, let’s hear of one example. This, by far, is the most hysterical and cognitively dissonant assertion of all. Does anyone in their right mind foresee a situation where a country says “We don’t need those Americans and their mighty military to defeat Iran, ISIS and the Taliban. They abandon their friends! ”….?

To imagine this, you’d have to be a babbling fool with a big hollow space between the ears and a bit too much attachment to alcohol.

    6. Geography matters! You may not like Islamist Muslim-brotherhood loving Erdogan, but Turkey is a natural buffer against Iran. If Turkey wants to test itself against Northern Syria, it pits itself against the Mullahs and Putin. Nothing can be better for the US and Israel. We should only be this lucky.

    7. If Turkey tries to redefine Syrian borders it also becomes the obstacle course between the Mullahs and their proxy Hezzbolah in Lebanon. This is huge. And a dream for Israel.

    8. Let’s not forget, Syria, by definition, is also Iran’s proxy.

    9. Who is the bigger evil? Iran who wants to wipe us off the map and is two nanoseconds from having nukes? Or Erdogan with whom we trade, whose country is inhabited by Jews and Christians?

    10. Does anyone actually believe that we don’t need Turkey, as strategically positioned as it is, as an ally…?

    11. Does anyone actually believe that American military can’t make it back to Syria if need be for any reason and without anyone’s permission?

    12. American military bases with drones and AirPower are all over the Middle East with over 54,000 soldiers on the ground in: Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Egypt, Emirates, Jordan, Kuwait…

American soldiers are in Iraq, Afghanistan and, yes, Turkey by way of NATO forces. And how many secret bases in Israel…?

Are we really going to seriously argue capital-bankrupt Putin’s supremacy in the Middle East vis a vis Syria…?

    13. It might be good to point out that none of this is news to Erdogan.

    14. Anyone suggesting that 50 pairs of American boots on the ground are a deterrent against Putin or Erdogan…needs stronger meds ASAP.

    15. Anyone suggesting that American soldiers have no right to come home because of need to protect Kurds, better argue that the same has no right to come home because they need to protect Iraqis from Iran and Afghani women from Taliban. And certainly Americans had to no right to leave Vietnam to leave South and North Vietnam to their murderous relations, post Vietnam war.

    16. Consider the value of 50 American lives in this equation. If these lives matter none, and foreign lives matter more ….than continue the hysteria.

    17. Amazing that the same people who argue that Americans should stop sticking their nose into everyone’s business (ie: Iraq) are foaming at the mouth protesting a 50-man pullout.

    18. Where is a even a fraction of this hysterical concern for Yazidis, people indigenous to Iraq? Shouldn’t the Americans stay in Iraq forever to protect them by the same idiotic logic?

    19. Since when has the American military power become a peace keeping force? And according to whose foreign policy?

    20. Trump just carved out a check mate long-term strategy in the Middle East. Not by continuing the same old American presence in the Syrian neighbourhood, but by pitting America’s natural enemies against each other. The byproduct of which helps Israel. Suggesting that American foreign policy in the Middle East, a region fraught with extreme and immediate risks to humanity, should be driven by the sole interests of a tiny group of people who have and will forever be disenfranchised and stateless and spread out …is really hallucinative.

    21. Re-read point 1 above, out-loud.

whether its a way get 3rd Party out there for Bloomberg etal… who knows, but the one truth:

Tulsi has NO EXPERIENCE RUNNING LEMONADE STAND even less than 44! Tulsi Syrian Policy destroyed any reason for her candidacy…remember she came out in support for the Kurds at the cost of American lives…hypocrisy will be her undoing…

Saw my first “Trump 2020” bumper sticker in the Cleveland, Ohio area today.

Went past the SUV on the highway, saw that an Asian woman was driving, and that she had a decal on her driver’s side door advertising a martial arts studio. Guessing a small business owner.

Wanted to share the good news.

Tulsi is being used to take votes away from the president.

Tulsi also doesn’t give a crap about the future of the country why would she? She has no children and no desire to do so.

Never vote for someone without children – look at Europe’s leaders and what they’ve done to the continent because they don’t care about the future.

    • I agree, these Dems strategist play a sucker game everytime – think WWF and decided let Hillary be the villain, what more could enhance Gubbards creds among moderates etc. Easy play > Never forget the Clinton deposition about Monica Lewinski and they hyped how Clinton blew up lost temper etc really built it up and the nothing when everyone actually watched it and I remember Rush fell for it whole hog and admitted next day he had been played for a sucker like so many others. dem strategy 101

Don’t know that having kids is the only reason to care about the future of the country, but there are numerous reasons to question Gabbard’s commitment to America in the decades to come. In any case I don’t think whatever she does (or Democrats do) will “take away” votes for PDJT. The truth about Gabbard will emerge, in fact that’s already happening. After all she’s just another leftist in a more (superficially) attractive package—it won’t fool Pres Trump’s supporters in the slightest.

I’m repeating myself, but this woman knew about the black mothers with babies, who were firebombed out of public housing so gang members could have it all for themselves.
This happened in her state, BEFORE she made her “spark of divinity” remarks.
She’s either senile, or evil. Probably both.

Perhaps our president should invite one of those mothers to one of his rallies?

If it is being reported correctly by (translated) Ukranian news, there has just been a very interesting development today in Kyiv. Former President Poroshenko’s right hand man has been arrested by Zelenskyy’s anticorruption task force. The charge is he was part of a scheme to embezzle hundreds of millions in IMF loans/aid to Ukraine. Poroshenko’s number two fled to avoid arrest. This morning Kyiv time, a number of moving vans pulled up to Poroshenko’s ‘palace’, removed all the furnishings, and departed for parts unknown. Poroshenko is rumored to have also already fled the country to avoid arrest. Poroshenko himself would have had to be at the center of the IMF embezzlement scheme.

If true as reported, this is VERY bad for Quid Pro Joe directly (bigger than Hunter and Burisma), and indirectly for Schiff’s Ukraine impeachment farce.

I haven’t had time to read through the thread, so this may already be on the Treehouse radar, but it looks like the President’s advance teams in charge of planning for POTUS’ upcoming trip to Chile with Xi and Putin were just presented with a serious new security aspect.

The big Asian trade deal will be the focus of the meeting.

I don’t understand everyone running around with their hair on fire about Tulsi Gabbard. Does anyone think Trump supporters are going to desert him in favor of her? Really? She’s not going to be around come election time. She isn’t going to make it out of the Dem primary and has said she will not run third party.

Let’s not interrupt our enemies when they are making a mistake. What they are doing to Tulsi is what they did to Bernie and that cost them come election time. Be smart, be strategic. Help our enemy when they are hurting themselves.

      They think she’s a “right-winger”
I posted the following on a lefty site (sorry, can’t resist trolling the low info crowd):

      Tulsi is smart.
She is maintaining a bit of sanity as the democrat party implodes around her.
She could be a viable presidential candidate for a democrat party trying to rebuild from the ashes in 2024.

Typically, the prosecutor would leave interviews of the “targets” for last! Most of them have already lawyered up, anyway and won’t talk to Durham unless they already know it’s a powder puff!

    • Targets are generally interviewed last….OR if the case is strong enough, perhaps not at all OR, if they were given an opportunity to talk and are lawyered up and choosing to remain silent, we probably wouldn’t know about it.,

BREAKING: Convoy of Trucks Seen Emptying Obama-Linked Former Ukrainian President Poroschenko’s Palace – Confidants Arrested and Flee
by Jim Hoft October 19, 2019

Schiff sent a staffer to Ukraine to meet with the former President Poroshenko after receiving the ‘whistleblower’ report.

This trip was sponsored by a think tank that receives funding from a program of left-wing billionaire George Soros’ Open Society Foundation called “Open Society Initiative for Europe”
Here is Adam Schiff’s signature authorizing the travel, dated July 22

KYIV — CD Media broke news yesterday of allegations by intelligence sources of extensive money laundering and corruption by former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko. We will be releasing detailed information on the schemes to embezzle hundreds of millions of IMF aid money to Ukraine and we can confirm that investigations are under way by the Ukrainian special prosecutor’s office.

Schiff and staff will probably not be charged with “obstruction of justice” however much deserved that would be. OTOH as the details get filled in, the “impeachment” stupidity is going to blow up bigly in the Democrats’ faces. Sure sounds like the Ukrainians have solid evidence of crimes by the former regime and that very likely will implicate Biden and a bunch of others in the Obama administration.

FBI should be asking the Schiff Staffers a few questions about their trip to the Ukraine since they went to see X-President Poroshenko. It’s more likely they went to discuss how to cover up those arms deals involving Schiff and Pelosi. Naturally the FBI and DOJ would be interested, in an obstruction of justice case.

        • jrapdx says:

Absolutely, the chances of illegal action by Schiff and staff are very high, and in any case the implications for corrupt dealings in Ukraine are glaring. Obstruction of justice and kickbacks on arms deals deserve attention by FBI and DoJ investigators.

Schiff’s staffer was one of several of the Dimm congressmen’s staffers who took that trip. There should be little doubt that they were having a strategy session while off US soil. If they were having meetings inside the US embassy, there might be some hope of suing and gaining some transparency.

The Atlantic Council was the sponsoring organization. Bad.
