…and another thing….too many people want to go all nicey, nicey, “my mother taught me if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all”….etc. However, when someone is hell bent on destroying our duly elected president for no reason and his voters prior to that, in order to allow
the country to go full on socialist/communist/Marxist/globalist, etc. there IS nothing good to say.

Not in Maryland unless Rino Hogan is able to do something about the gerrymandered congressional districts. Take as look at the congressional district map if you get a chance and explain districts 2 and 3 in a way that makes any sense. Just trying to figure out which is 2 and which is 3 is difficult enough. Baltimore City is divided among FOUR congressional districts. FOUR!!!! I could understand if it was two but FOUR???????

Cummings was my CONgress critter until I moved. Maryland is too expensive with no chance of any conservative policies being enacted.

Mari, I have some hope. I’m still in cummings district. But the Maryland Governor has lots of say in redistricting, and this is the first time in my lifetime that a Republican of any stripe is in the Governor’s mansion in redistricting season.

        LOLOLOL!

If they exist in this state, someone is going to have to create a Safe House to convince them to come out of hiding.

The last Republican so-called black conservative we tried was Michael Steele, who was a wishy washy Lt. Governor (to Gov Bob Ehrlich) who failed to solve ANY DemonRAT-created problems here in Maryland. So then Steele went on to royally screw up the RNC after two years and had to be replaced with Reince Priebus.

I wish we had ANY strong Conservative Republicans in MD – white, black, brown, or polka dotted – I would not care.

At first glance, sounds all nicey nicey. But, in reality, it simply means that evil has lost a leader, and his replacement won’t have seniority or as much clout.

    • Since the RNC is flush with money I expect, and I mean EXPECT, them to run and fund candidates in all congressional districts and no excuses like we don’t have a chance. You only don’t have a chance if you don’t have a candidate and fund them.

      • yy4u says:

        AMEN littleflower
The RNC decided Corey Stewart (a Trumpian) had no chance to defeat Tim Kaine here in VA. So they didn’t fund him. My bet is had Establishment Nick Freitas beaten Stewart in the primary (he didn’t), the RNC would have decided Freitas was worth funding. Nor did they fund John James in MI who might have won, too. We lost West VA and we lost MT. Did the RNC fund them. Or were they still in the Never Trump column and working just as hard as their Democrat pals to hamstring the president hoping to get back to the Globalist Status Quo where their donors make all the money and the pawns (middle and working class) are left with the pennies.

You need to put up some resources to back up your insinuations.

Klacik has been fairly consistently fair to PDJT, and has been focused on fixing the city’s problems instead of blaming the President. In THIS very Leftwing area, she is a bit of an outlier being moderately center/right, but she may have a chance to prove her mettle. Let’s hope so, for the sake of the people of Baltimore.

Elijah Cummings has no respectable legacy to emphasize in an obituary…his entire time in Congress has been filled with corruption, graft, racist diatribes, and partisan witch hunts. The MSM has no choice but to use his death as an opportunity to bash President Trump because that’s all they do 24/7 and in this case, there is literally nothing else with which they can fill space!

In reading the article about his deteriorating health, it sounds much more like the congressman contracted a MRSA infection post heart surgery. The common and once harmless staph infection is now a killer because the bug became resistant to almost all antibiotics.

I suspect the long recuperation after heart surgery was due to that and the more recent knee surgery complications were related. For some people, the last remaining antibiotic treatments for MRSA are ineffective.

Third stage syphilis usually leaves people unable to sound coherent. He sounded coherent to me last I saw him.

It’s why I never second guessed his contributions in the Civil Rights period.
But now I wonder the impact a 16 or 17 yr old (born in 1951) had during this time?
