The Democrats want to destroy the Constitution and the Republic as founded! Remember when Justice Ginsburg said she preferred the South Africa constitution over ours? That she uses foreign and international law in her rulings? The leftists are open about what they want to do to this Republic and our Constitution and yet the Republicans in Congress in their naivety somehow don’t believe it? As a result there is little to no push back to the current Unconstitutional impeachment inquiry. There are a handful of Republicans doing all the heavy lifting but that’s about it! Republicans feel at home when they’re not in power in essence when they are losers unlike President Trump! Godspeed President Trump!

The fake impeachment will fail, just as the Mueller witch hunt failed.
Peter Strzok and Lisa Page: two imbeciles recording in real time the FBI misdeeds.
Mueller: a creepy nincompoop well past his “best used by” date.
Weissman: a corrupt lawyer known for using worn out illegal maneuvers.
Schifforbrain put in charge of another ridiculously flowed plot by Peelousy, who, at this time, isn’t fit to run a nursing home room.
Incompetent assistants such as Nadler and Cummings, who don’t even realize how grossly visible is their illegal performance in the coup. Peelosy just made it possible to bring attention to these two corrupt congress critters.
The real tragedy we are witnessing is the striking incompetence of these corrupt criminals having made it to high government positions by exploiting the Gruber theorem. Sad!

I personally believe the Democrats cheated to get control of the House, and Paul Ryan and a lot of Republicans help them.
But if I am wrong then judging by the results in 2018, every day of this crap gives the Democrats more of a chance to “win” in 2020

And besides that, just on general principles we need to find a way to have an impact.
For the most part, as far as I can tell, the Republican only engage in shadow boxing for the benefit of Fox news viewers.

For example why, WHY was AG Barr allowed to tell us to our faces that there is no reason to suspect Jeffrey Epstein did not commit suicide and no one subpoena him to give a point by point account for his conclusion. For instance, how does he dismiss the “faulty” survalence cameras? Or the odd assignment of personnel? Or the other inmate who heard someone screaming?

You know AG Barr must have talked that over with someone, and they decided that all he needed to say to us insignificant drudges is ‘Nothing to see here folks, get back to work we need your money”. Why did we let him get away with that? Why did our Representatives let him get away with that?

Someone out there somewhere has to have enough brains to figure out a for us to hold them accountable, voting is weak at best and since we could not prevail with a citizenship question on OUR census, or get a National Voter ID law, VOTING, if it survives, will be still be a fraud and will be reduced to a rubber stamp of the Deep States choice.

And as President so logically says of China. “I don’t blame them for what they are doing, they are doing the best for their country, I blame our leaders who let them get away with it for years.”.

You can say the same for the Deep State, they are doing the best for “their” Country, the Country they live, but their Country is not Our Country, the Country we live in. It is a Country with-in a Country with separate laws and norms – we have to start seeing that same as we had to fight to “see” the Uni-Party.

Watching the video today from Project Veritas, I felt for those guys at lunch, discussing Jeff Zucker and how impeachment of President Trump is Zucker’s total and daily obsession –
are those guys all going to get fired but Zucker will continue onwards and upwards?

Will Zucker be able to fire many of these earnest individuals who studied journalism, incurred college debt and probably are fortunate if they have gotten their own homes (in co-ownership with the bank)?

I daresay anchors such as Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper and perhaps Don Lemon are blissfully oblivious to the worries of the lower echelons “in the trenches” . . . will they be at all concerned when these guys on tape get fired by Zucker?

Zucker didn’t even go to Journalism School – his degree from Harvard was in history (although he edited the Crimson). What do the real and true lovers of the fourth estate have to feel about this ass riding roughshod over journalistic integrity? Is that all a fluffy idea gone long ago . . .

the fourth estate used to mean something pretty monumental and was a safeguard against abuse from all sides . . .

Maybe the corporation known as CNN doesn’t have the cojones to fire Jeff Zucker . . . he seems to have a “get out of jail free” type of card that enables him to keep moving up instead of out, notwithstanding what he did to NBC.

      IMHO:

CNN should fire Jeff Zucker WITHOUT a jumbo “severance package”
PLUS step forward and apologize to the American people for the malicious distorting of news (they are purportedly in the business of providing a service, “reporting the news”)
AND ensure that those young people such as Nick Neville will not be fired for getting things off their chests
IF CNN does not fire Jeff Zucker, I mean really fire him without the zillion-dollar “parting gifts” then I want to know why not.
What does he have that keeps CNN from firing him?

Probably, but I would also say that if they studied journalism they certainly don’t practice it. And many choose to do so willingly. As evidence many can’t seem to or are unwilling to fact check.

Are we assuming journalism school improves the “profession”? 70 years ago did everyone go to journalism school? Just about everyone graduates from some sort of education school in the teaching profession these days too and it’s done wonders for the profession.

Yeah, like a lot of folks at our home we have a landline and cell phones too. Seems all these channels get a cartload of sales and other “junk” calls all the time. Tendency is to ignore all but known callers.

In that environment a legit pollster calling gets lost in the noise. That’s especially problematic for state-level polls where the polling agency name may not be recognized by the person being called.

It seems polling might have to resort to ringing doorbells but that too is going to be hard—a lot of people are hardly ever home, certainly not at predictable hours.

Accurate polling is increasingly difficult to achieve. It’s gonna take some whole new approaches to get there.

Interesting. No reason to believe Republicans or independents don’t have mobile devices as much as Democrats. I do think it likely R/I voters are reluctant to participate in polls. My guess is on receiving a call from a poll org, the R/I individual is predisposed to ignore it hence the shortage of R/I in the poll’s sample.

I’d extend the hypothesis to say regardless of party affiliation people opposed to PT are more motivated and willing to participate in polls. If this proved true it would account for skewed results even among properly conducted polls.

No doubt that the proliferation of cell phones has vastly complicated the business of getting representative population samples for polling and political research.

So many people I know refuse to use mobile phones as phones. They prefer texting above all else, even over voice, email or other ways to communicate.

As you say, lacking consistent ways to reach the optimum population can skew results. For one thing the skew can happen undetected by the pollster. From what we’re told, a big problem is knowing how to identify and correct for biases introduced by cell vs. landline subject interactions.

Always worth trying to inform people of the facts, though it’s (mostly) an uphill climb. As it happens, statistics was almost nobody’s favorite course in college. OTOH knowing the rudiments is enormously helpful for understanding polls—what the results actually signify and whether a poll was properly conducted. Helping people discern accurate and meaningful outcomes from blatantly false ones is a great service and by all means an important accomplishment for the ultimate good of the country.

And every media organization that can be proven to have consistently supported and advocated for One party – the DemonRATs – should also lose First Amendment protections that are provided for the Press, and instead be regulated as a political action organization.

On the other hand, individual politically oriented programs that run on TV or AM radio should not affect the broadcast businesses’ licensing.

Control by Big Banks, Oligarchy, suppressing voices of individuals, etc. – these themes need to be thrown out there to appeal to a broad range of citizens.

You gotta be kiddin’ me, TLD! Every Democrat and “ism” on the left only loves individual freedom IF — IF,IF, IF — (s)he has the last say on every topic. Show me a communist, socialist, Democrat country, city, state that is run by such critters and I’ll show you corruption galore.

It’s not the conservatism of smaller government, individual rights and rule of law that brought us oligarchy, central banking, too-big-to-fail, pay-to-play, subversive networks, generation after generation of the same families spreading their mafia-like corruption throughout the land via false flags and projection and bureacracy-builders promising cradle=to-grave caretaking in trade for your soul.

Rectenwald only proves that the leftists, too, are awakening to the wrath of the progressives out of control. It ain’t a nice world when someone else has you in thumbscrews. I presume most leftists have NEVAH lived as the peons in communist or socialist countries, but simply like to hear themselves talk.

As for property taxes, it’s how the Democrats in Illinois make their walking around money. They vote for higher property taxes, then tell owners to appeal. However, unless you go to their attorney-of-record — Ed Burke, finally under indictment, comes to mind — you don’t get relief. And the Board of Appeals is stacked with Dems, so the beat goes on…and on…and on. Now that Burke’s wife is Chief Justice of the Illinois Supreme Court, the future of conservatives is looking dim. One does not own property in states such as this; one merely “rents” it from the politicians.

TLD, I don’t know which DemocRATs you associate with, but they are not representative of the ones running the House of Reps, 47% of the Senate, the states of California, Oregon, Washington, Illinois, Colorado, York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, etc. and ALL of the major cities across the country.

The hard Leftwing Democrats of 2019 absolutely LOVE big banks and oligarchies when the heads of this organizations are sympathetic to Communist …er….socialist and social justice narratives. Look at MBNA, AMEX – those big banks have been supportive of social justice causes and actually discriminated against customers who did not.

All of the Big Tech industries form an oligarchy of sorts because they act in unison and dominate their market. Big Media is another example. Only six companies own practically all of America’s media. That’s an oligarchy!

I could cite many other examples but don’t like overly long posts.

Maybe one of our resident lawyers who is familiar with that area of law can provide a brief summary of what legal remedies may exist for this problem.

And there you go! The reason Bolt head got fired looks like its related to this whole scam on the Ukraine call. Maybe… Looks like he was right there… trying to get Trump in hot water.

What a mongrel he is, a dirty mongrel. Good ridden to his horrible self.
Dobbing in President Trump, playing little games… maybe he’s the gossip blower! Ignore the video attached to this, the meat is in the article – read it. Also, that Hill woman, if she was the ‘advisor’ on Russia for Trump, she did a shocking job and obviously was misleading Trump the whole time – on many things. Thinking that through, he was always on the brink of a dangerous edge, due to the ‘trigger happy’ Russia phobe generals, and clearly her. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/bolton-instructed-former-russia-adviser-to-talk-to-nsc-lawyer-over-ukraine

“Both Bolton and Hill, who were present at the meeting, had concerns about the conversation, she testified. Bolton directed her to alert John Eisenberg, a lawyer at the NSC, she said, the Journal reported.

The New York Times reported that during the meeting, Bolton got into a heated exchange with Gordon D. Sondland, the European Union ambassador. The paper reported that Sondland worked with Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s personal lawyer, to pressure the Ukrainians to investigate the Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden. Hill reportedly said Bolton likened the former New York City mayor to a “hand grenade who’s going to blow everybody up.” She said it appeared Giuliani was not working in coordination with the normal foreign policy channels when dealing with Ukraine.”

Not anon, it was Hill that said it – The so called Russia expert who said the Ukraine Ambassador was a great person… etc etc. I think we can see whats been going on. More bad advice on Trumps staff picks. I wonder who suggested this Hill woman? Probably Bolton.

and to top it off (this is from the testimony today from Hill).

“The Times, citing two people familiar with the testimony, reported that Hill said Bolton told her to tell Eisenberg that Giuliani was working with the White House chief of staff, Mick Mulvaney, on the rogue investigation.

“I am not part of whatever drug deal Rudy and Mulvaney are cooking up,” Bolton reportedly told White House attorneys. The Washington Post reported that investigators are now considering calling Bolton to testify. Sondland is expected to testify later this week.

I have already posted Fiona Hill’s involvement, substantiated, with Brookings think tank. And their sketchy record taking money from China and others therefore direction in their research/opinion articles, that may be of some interest to pursue.

You still did not cite the NYT report, just a Fox News regurgitation.

Again, you make my point, which is the President’s point. No names, no attribution, therefore fake reporting.

If someone has something to add, reveal or whatever, they should stand by their statements, not hide behind, anonymous ‘I’m in the know’ but hells bells, you cannot verify what I am injecting into the conversation.

That is quintessentially fake news, relying on gossip and unverifiable facts.

Fox News online reprints a lot of reports from the mockingbird media and from other proven Leftwing sources. I actually stopped reading their website before I stopped watching their cable channel.

I think this is a nothing burger being spun by the Dems.

Giuliani has said he was investigating in Ukraine (origins of Russia hoax) in preparing for Trump defense of Mueller report (this was prior to Mueller report). The Biden corruption was discovered by him at this time.

I have no doubt establishment Repubs, neocons, etc had no interest in revisiting Biden’s corruption in Ukraine. But what was Giuliani to do with this corruption info? Forget about it? Drop it?

Trump didn’t ask Zolensky to investigate Biden to see if they could find dirt. He asked them to investigate why Ukraine’s prior investigation into Biden’s corruption was blocked and terminated.

I have the sense Trump is looking into George Soros’ global corruption also. The Soros investigation was shut down in Ukraine at the same time Burisma (Hunter Biden) investigation was shut down. It seems the same U.S. political forces were involved.

In 2018 U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee Congress, Director of National Intelligence Daniel Coats, the top U.S. intelligence official, has explicitly defined the YPG as the “PKK’s militia force in Syria.

    https://www.dni.gov/files/documents/Newsroom/Testimonies/2018-ATA—Unclassified-SSCI.pdf

According to United States Army Special Forces Commander General Raymond A. Thomas at the Aspen Security Forum in July 2017, the SDF is a PR-friendly name for the YPG, which Thomas personally suggested because the YPG is considered an arm of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), which is designated as a terrorist group by the Federal government of the United States. And also by New Zealand.

Great. I was not excited about the China Trade deal. Of course, it would be great to go from 10B to 50B / year in food sales to China…but I do not think they have been driven to “cry Uncle” on NK nukes, or on IP. So, I suspect them to be less than honest in the deal.

Better to bring them to the table when they are ready to agree to terms.

Of course, the yoyo approach – bring them in, get close to a deal, allow them to review the deal, allow them to retreat, and repeat, is fine – since this keeps them engaged, and costs us little, while costing them a lot, as time goes by.

Bring the troops home Mr President and use them to protect our borders instead of the borders of countries that hate us. That includes Europe.
