Good article on why holding those who broke the law accountable by the system of law – otherwise we have no Republic:

Thought-provoking snippet from an American Thinker blogpost entitled “A Second American Civil War is Nothing to Look Forward To” by William Marbury:

“At present — and it may change — the best strategy to avoid the danger of a second American civil war is the thorough defeat of the Democratic Party at the ballot box. It must be such a resounding defeat as to permanently discredit and destroy the Democratic Party. (The two-party system would be preserved by the splitting of the Republican party into its two wings.) Else, the Democratic Party is likely to destroy the United States.”

Particularly the statement regarding the preservation of the two-party system by the splitting of the Republican Party after destruction of the Democrat party . . .

What I see happening is the reconstituted Dem party will be made up of Romney type Repubs and surviving Dems. In other words, the UniParty will formally merge. The Repubs will be the Trumpist elements–at least for the foreseeable future. I think this transformation of the two parties will be good for the future.

I should add that perhaps we’ve underestimated exactly how terrible and dangerous the de-facto one-party system we’ve had really is. For example, exactly how did the US media get to the point where all major avenues of communication with the American people deliver the state message? Perhaps if we had a real opposition party in the Senate media people would have been hauled in long ago to testify before Senate hearings. Maybe the collapse of a real two party system is largely responsible for everything. Maybe it’s more of a linchpin for our democratic republic than we’ve given it credit for!

It would help if this article called the Democrats Democrats instead of Democratic party. Gives them a psychological legitimacy in a subtle manipulated by the left way. Call a spade a spade and delegitimize their claim they are for democratic principles, which they are not.

Sorry, pet peeve of mine and I can’t stand supposedly right leaning authors kowtowing to an invention of the media and the left.

Why the assumption that parties remain. There is nothing in the Constitution concerning parties. Parties are nothing more than for-profit clubs. The are rife with corruption. Perhaps it’s time to destroy the paradigm of a “party” system and simply vote for a guy or gal that best represents his or her constituents and will serve the Constitution.

Old Bladder Bag at it again.

So, will she waddle into the race once a fork is finally stuck in Biden’s campaign, or will she take the lazy way out and set up a brokered DNC convention and con her way in?

The latter would sure save her a lot of physical movement. She wouldn’t have to campaign or stand on podiums which have proven to be nearly impossible for her. Right now, she’s campaigning within extremely friendly venues she is able to handpick and space apart to give her recoup time between them. She’s quite the hot ticket these days for radical left women’s gatherings or TV talk shows, all of which are hosted by grumpy, nasty women. (I’m female. I can say it.). If TV cameras would pan the audiences no doubt Comey world be in attendance with the femme fatale’s in his family, wearing a pink pussy hat, of course.

HRC also has devised a tag team campaigning approach. Using Chelsea to co-author a book and doing a Fake Book Tour together, Hillary has her daughter at her right hand to pick up the baton anytime Mom needs a hand. Having Chelsea always in tow will be quite helpful for those times when Hillary has a coughing/choking jag. When she feels one coming on, she can hand it off to Chelsea, who BTW, is the subject of speculation that she may be running for the House.

Great!! Two bitter Clinton women for the price of trying to endure one of them. Good news for Bill, though. If both of them are consumed with running for office, he’ll have even more free time to spend at his own discretion.

    Minneapolis rally report:

I have a friend who volunteered at the rally. He said it was awesome, the energy was indescribable. He had to arrive at 10am for training and a security check with SS. He ended up ushering people to their seats on the floor about 20-25 ft from the podium. Not his 1st rally but this was the closest he’s ever been so it was extra special. He took the train to the arena and didn’t have any problems back and forth. On the way home there were a few teen girls yelling and pretending to vomit but that’s it. Typical teenage crap. He watched news coverage of the rally later and we talked about all the angry people out there. He connected with some of the MAGAsota people he recently met at one of their meetings.

I’m glad he did this–he really needed to be around other Trump supporters. He’s lost some people due to his support for Trump. Their loss is what I always say but I was on the Trump train from Day 1 and made my stand long ago. He came to Trump later and the lost relationships wear on him. As more comes out over the next year he may see some of those people circle back when they wake up. I hope so…..some are beyond help but I think a large number of people will come around once they get it.

But the daily PDJT hate is very where, and it is getting worse..

That said, PDJTs courage and resilience continues to inspire, as the story abut your friend shows.

Ontario and Quebec are the only two Provinces that really count in an election.

It all looks to be a very obvious defence strategy (but will be effective unless Barr shows news media complicit in the take down).

I’m not sure I would want some of those relationships back. Once you’ve seen people’s true colors, it’s easier to leave behind what isn’t good for you. People don’t usually change unless they have a change from the Spirit (the only One who can keep you on track). They may be better informed, but they’ve already demonstrated what they do when times are tough. I hope he keeps a reasonable distance!

It’s about time – Republicans all need to ask the media “have you read the transcript of the call? Let me read it to you and you tell me where it says anything about Biden , quid pro quo and all the rest”

Republics are just responding – it makes it seem like trump actually did something wrong!

Levin reads from the transcript – that’s the best and most effective strategy to support the president.

Trump should have a press conference and just read it, like levin did. It’s persuasive and 60% of our fellow citizens don’t know what it says.

Politicians don’t read and don’t write because they live in their own little reality filled with back biting, and they have all they want to hear what is being said about them. Don’t pay any attention to them. They don’t even know that if PDJT is removed from office they will no longer have a political career and will have to try to get a real job, and watching that will be hilarious!

Within a fifty mile radius of Washington DC lies the seditious conspiracy against the people of the heartland of America. The Leftists in that zone hate President Trump and those who support and voted for him.

One way the heartland could fight back is with a refusal by truckers to deliver food of any kind within fifty miles of DC. Patriots could simply refuse to feed the traitors of DC, Maryland and northern Virginia.

No groceries, no bread, produce or dairy, no restaurants, no convenience store snacks, no congressional cafeteria, no CIA or NSA or other government cafeterias. No Union Station lunches for the hordes of lobbyists and bureaucrats in DC. The Pentagon brass can eat MRE’s delivered by army trucks.

Take the daily, glutinous fun out of being a traitor.

The only exception would be to make sure the White House gets all the food the occupants desire.

The communists can all turn to eating tree bark, grass clippings and any rodents they can catch.

There are also plenty of truckers who LIVE in DC and surrounding areas. You’re demanding that they put the paychecks that feed their families at risk. Their young kids can’t vote, yet you think they deserve punishment just for having parents who disagree with MAGA voters?

Think harder, please, or at least smarter. Win elections by convincing folks of the upsides of your position, not by penalizing the innocent.

Form the article: “Does complexity confer immunity?”

In a way, yes, since for an extremely complex crime like this coup conspiracy, PROVING motives in court is difficult and it has to be done many, many times over. That would require a justice system that is NOT incredibly corrupt and we don’t have that as proved by the coup attempt itself.

Also, great complexity eliminates the chance of widespread public DEMAND for real justice, especially when no one is sent to Bubba’ jail early on, since they can’t or won’t follow it enough to understand how serious it is. On the other hand, sexual misbehavior by and very simple, outright bribes of lower level or less favored pols can be easily prosecuted.

In this case, forget it. This coup investigation has been intentionally slow-walked and the crime is extremely complex, even involving other nations.

Tell Barr, Durham and IG to dispense with the procedural slow walking. This whole thing is being staged to cover the butts of the Muslim Brotherhood supporters here: Brennan, Obama, Hillary (through Huma), etc. Send us to war, so we can drain the swamp. Any fool can see.

Kilmeade has no special insights , he is a talker who lucked out on Fox and friends , like an actor getting a role in long running show , a great gig for him , but he was and always will be a C student , so his opinions are no better than anybody else’s. If not Fox and Friends he would be a DJ on an FM radio station somewhere. Harsh? But true.

Kilmeade isn’t even “average” – he’s actively stupid. He has a radio talk show that is carried by the local AM station here in the morning, and I’ve stumbled on to it a few times, each time reconfirming my opinion of him.

So Brian, what units of the military are your kids serving in? Somehow I don’t think any of them are walking point on patrol in the Middle East or flying close air support missions for the trigger pullers. Yeah, I know its a free country and you are entitled to state your opinion, but I think you might have more credibility if you had some skin in the game.

The Chinese were in desperate need of food, which POTUS allowed them to purchase after they verbally committed to phase 1 of the trade deal.

Now that the food is on the way, the Chinese will back out of signing anything. The trade talks will ‘break down’ and DPRK will launch a few more missiles.

They are just playing a game until election 2020. If they can hold their failing economy together over the next year they will just bluff their way until then. PT and his trade officials and advisors know this and will deal with it.

The Chinese, imo, are desperately helping out behind the scenes to get the Dem elected in 2020 hoping the old guard they have been paying for rises again. We won’t let them.

Yes, and then Bloomberg can talk crap about how the Chinese are so afraid because every time they want to talk and try to make a deal, the President puts on more tariffs but what the Media does not concern its self with is they know nothing of telling the truth The last deal was almost complete and the Chinese backed out and not the President and I am sorry because I would be very cold hearted and until they signed the whole deal and stuck to it I wouldn’t even stop any of the Tariffs and would continue to let them fly at a higher rate than 25% Why give these people food just long enough for them to once again laugh at the President and their words says its a stupid deal.

In the small rural community closest to my farm, Columbus Day was declared “Indigenous People’s Day” several years ago. We have a large Native American population since the area was an Indian Agency before Oklahoma statehood, so ditching Columbus was a locally popular popular move.

We are “so proud”, but it doesn’t do anything to fix the unemployment problem stemming from the better jobs leaving for larger cities or the Delta faucet factory, a large employer, that left for China years ago. The local government is largely influenced by tribal politics and business, which tends to be corrupt. Most are Democrats.

Much ado about not much, just another American cultural icon to be destroyed. /s
