It’s Deja-Vu All Over Again – The Ukraine Effort is Simply “Obstruction 2.0″…

[Background] As I’m wiping down the white-board to outline the corrupt purposes, intents and connections, suddenly it becomes obvious. The Ukraine story is Obstruction 2.0.

To assemble a quick elevator explanation of the Muh Russia obstruction construction, and to better understand the end goal of the political objective which encompassed the use of the FISA court, CTH previously said:

To get impeachment, they needed obstruction. To get obstruction, they needed an investigation. To get the investigation, they needed evidence. To change dossier from oppo-research to evidence they needed a FISA. To get a FISA they needed a target. The target was Carter Page.

While assembling the more recent deployment of Adam Schiff’s Ukraine story, I recognize something familiar:

To get impeachment Schiff needs obstruction.  To get obstruction, Schiff needs an investigation.  To get an investigation Schiff needs evidence.  To change political innuendo into evidence, Schiff needs a ‘whistle-blower’.  To use a ‘whistle-blower’ they need a report… And guess where we are?

In the 2016/2017 Muh Russia operation we notice the same general cast of characters were involved.  •Embeds in the intelligence apparatus; •Lawfare allies -inside and outside government- constructing the narrative for media absorption and distribution; and •politicians working to utilize their constructs.

Now, remember, the Lawfare Alliance is quite smart, they purposefully use the intelligence apparatus as part of the constructed narrative because the intelligence aspect itself can act as a shield.

You might remember when Adam Schiff was making claims in 2017 about the ‘highly classified’ FISA application used against Carter Page?

As the HPSCI ranking member Adam Schiff was saying in 2017 the ‘Steele Dossier’ was not the structural evidence underlying the application (it was).  However, Schiff knew: (A) the application was hidden by its classified status; and (B) if the application did ever become public in 2018, his allied media would never hold him accountable for the 2017 lies.

When the FISA application was ultimately released, albeit in redacted form (Aug ’18), the Steele Dossier was the structural underpinning for it; yet Adam Schiff was never held accountable for the fraudulent content in the House Minority Intelligence Report.

Fast forward to 2019 and overlay this Trump/Ukraine story and what you will immediately notice is an almost identical deployment of the same playbook.

♦Obstruction 1.0 (2016 original version): Source for Obstruction narrative, Chris Steele.
♦Obstruction 2.0 (2019 Ukraine version): Source for Obstruction narrative, an unnamed “Whistle-Blower”.

♦Obstruction 1.0: Tool for Obstruction narrative, Steele Dossier.
♦Obstruction 2.0: Tool for Obstruction narrative, Whistle-Blower Complaint.

♦Obstruction 1.0: The impediment to Obstruction narrative advancement (a needed special counsel) was AG Jeff Sessions.  Solution was to force recusal.
♦Obstruction 2.0: The impediment to Obstruction narrative advancement is current Acting DNI Joseph McGuire.  Solution ongoing, hence call him before HPSCI.

[IMHO The House Intelligence Committee will likely attempt some recusal process against Joseph McGuire.  Also, if you accept this Ukraine angle was planned to roll-out, it is almost certain to explain why Schiff and the Democrats were desperately demanding the appointment of Sue Gordon.  They’ve had this operation in the works for weeks.]

♦Obstruction 1.0: narrative exploitation needed a Special Counsel investigation.
♦Obstruction 2.0: narrative exploitation now needs HPSCI investigation.

It doesn’t matter that the underlying premise is false. What matters is the ability of Schiff and team -including media- to create the illusion of possibility within their premise:

♦Obstruction 1.0: Obstruction narrative needed the premise Trump worked with the Russians etc.
♦Obstruction 2.0: Obstruction narrative needs the premise Trump worked with (pressured) the Ukranians.

Once Schiff/Lawfare create the premise and cement a false narrative; then all efforts shift to taking aggressive measures to bait President Trump into taking action that would lead to the charge of obstruction:

♦Obstruction 1.0: Obstruction narrative mostly based on Trump firing James Comey.
♦Obstruction 2.0: Obstruction narrative will advance by baiting Trump to remove Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG).

It should be emphasized the Inspector General for the Intelligence Community; the guy who accepted the ridiculous premise of a hearsay ‘whistle-blower‘ complaint, who was “blowing-the-whistle” based on second hand information of a phone call without any direct personal knowledge, is Michael K. Atkinson.

Atkinson’s self-interest:  Michael K Atkinson was previously the Senior Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General of the National Security Division of the Department of Justice (DOJ-NSD). That makes Atkinson senior legal counsel to John Carlin and Mary McCord who were former heads of the DOJ-NSD in 2016 when the stop Trump operation was underway.

[Irony Reminder: The DOJ-NSD was purposefully under no IG oversight. In 2015 the OIG requested oversight and it was Sally Yates who responded with a lengthy 58 page legal explanation saying, essentially, ‘nope – not allowed.’ (PDF HERE) All of the DOJ is subject to oversight, except the NSD.]

Put another way, Michael Atkinson was the lawyer for the same DOJ-NSD players who: (1) lied to the FISA court (Judge Rosemary Collyer) about the 80% non compliant NSA database abuse using FBI contractors; (2) filed the FISA application against Carter Page; and (3) used FARA violations as tools for political surveillance and political targeting.

Yes, that means Michael Atkinson was Senior Counsel for the DOJ-NSD, at the very epicenter of the political weaponization and FISA abuse.

Immediately after the Carter Page FISA warrant is approved, in the period where DOJ-NSD head John Carlin has given his notice of intent to leave but not yet left, inside those specific two weeks, the National Security Division of the DOJ tells the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) they have been breaking the law.  The NSD specifically inform the court they are aware of contractors who have been using FISA 702(16)(17) database search queries to extract information on political candidates.

DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz has looked into the FISA application used against U.S. Person Carter Page.  Additionally, U.S. Attorney John Durham is said to be looking at the intelligence communities’ use of systems for spying and surveillance.

If the DOJ-NSD exploitation of the NSA database, and/or DOJ-NSD FISA abuse, and/or DOJ-NSD FARA corruption were ever to reach sunlight, Atkinson -as the lawyer for the process- would be under a lot of scrutiny for his involvement.

Yes, that gives current ICIG Michael Atkinson a strong and corrupt motive to participate with the Schiff/Lawfare impeachment objective.

.

If you stand back and look at the big picture, what becomes visible is the purpose for this 2019 Adam Schiff Ukraine Whistle-blower narrative to create the same situation previously used in 2016/2017 to generate Trump impeachment by obstruction.

It is an almost identical playbook.

Meanwhile…

Just as in 2017 we, the public, are denied knowledge of the snitch’s identity and access to the documentation which lists the offending activities. Meanwhile, over at the Hill, their professional commenters are promoting the narrative that Biden & Son, Inc have been absolved of any wrongdoing, and are linking to media stories as proof. It goes without saying that Trump is up to his old tricks again, according to the naysayers. Never mind that Ukraine has been blocked by agents of the US in its effort to share investigative findings with the current administration.

Somebody needs to start leaking. Schiff cannot be allowed to hide behind classification for another year.

The Ukrainian Hoax is going to be the 2.0 of the Russian Hoax only because media outlets need something new to capture viewers/readers again, just as the Democrats do.

The Ukrainian prez has already cleared our President. The so-called whistleblower has already proven to be a hoaxer in good standing alongside Chrissy Balsy-Ford by admitting they didn’t actually hear the conversation. Or attended the party.

Instead of dropping it, the So-called Tick Tock Club, here and elsewhere, decide it’s their duty to take it up, analyze a nothing until it becomes a something, and low and behold, a new ‘investigation’ is born. A Fake News item from quite awhile ago is today’s hair-on-fire news topic. So once again, the dueling investigative experts on opposing sides have a new vein to tap.

President Trump had one of the most impressive, successful days yesterday that any American president has ever had. His reception in Houston was astoundingly positive. Which ones of the Dem presidential hopeful could draw over 50,000 people to hear them speak? That’s right. None. President Trump’s appearance in Ohio with the Australian PM as they announced a new company that will hire a great number of veterans is so much more important than this stupid, pathetic Ukraine story. Why can’t we report and discuss the positive story, over and over and over?

Maybe, just once the media that supports our President should react to these moronic ‘breaking news’ stories the same way the lib media always handled negative stories on Obama, that BTW, were breaking news that needed hair set on fire about.

Hey, Conservative Media, walk away. Make a flat settlement that Ukraine is a bogus, disputed at the gate tale and we aren’t covering it. Please say that you no longer will take the bait by arguing back which causes the original pseudo sore to end up festering. And Fox News. Really? you’re hauling out Lindsey Graham and every single dingleberry Repub that you think might turn on Trump over this. Headline after headline today screeches that Romney is ‘concerned’. Who gives a flip what Romney thinks? He’s as gleeful every time the Left claims another ‘gotcha’ moment as any Marxist going. Why on earth give this phony, No Borders, Koch Bro/Chamber of Commerce clown another second of coverage? America doesn’t like him. He lost the presidency twice. Nobody cares what the man thinks. He’s petty, arrogant and holier than thou.

Don’t we realize by starting investigations and digging for counter evidence we are simply fueling the Socialist media and their puppets in Congress? Tell Lindsey Graham that as soon as he’s actually gotten something productive done toward serving true justice on the criminals that tried to thwart the 2016 election, then maybe we’ll have time to hear his drivel about Impeachment 2.0. In the meantime, Lindsey, get your butt to work on what matters and shut up. Same goes for all the other Deep Stater’s that are whistling past this graveyard called The Coup.

Spin on, we apparently must. Some, however, are bored, disgusted, revolted and not going to play the game again. Eyes have glazed over reading miles of research, proof and reprints that never achieve results that matter. Some are tired of pundits that seem more concerned with producing the most brilliant analyses, the best researched bombshell, the biggest ugly of all. Maybe if we give them all a trophy with a littke plaque that says its actually a Pulitzer, they’ll leave us be. Again, hey Conservative Media, jere’s a hint: Unless we have direct influence on Bagpipe Bill, our efforts. are. lost. Sure, blood pressures are higher, anger is closer to fever pitch, and endless anxiety keeps us sleepless, but we are powerless. All of us. Sometimes watching Conservative Media try to win hearts and minds is like watching the stupid TV show ‘Ridiculousness’. The same types of people pull the same neanderthal-like, idiotic stunts while the same people sit on the panel and coach the audience to laugh along with them.

On the brighter side, some prefer to take action that will produce results. Instead of listening to the harpies rehash a non story that Pencil Neck thinks is The Big One, some will counter it by donating to our President’s reelection campaign today at http://www.donaldjtrump.com

Laugh at the pathetic behavior of the Left, but don’t waste precious moments trying to shout them down. We are better than that. Reject their insanity by ignoring them. A lot of people are making a handsome living off this nonsense on both sides of the aisle, Decide for yourselves when enough of it, is enough for you.

The Dem Media partners will now report the allegations as a proven fact, giving the Dems cover to discredit the Horowitz report and any outcome of Durham’s investigation. It is all about creating the fiction that, while Brennan, Comey et al may have strayed out of the line, what the President ‘did’ was far worse.

    • Remember the Page-FISA-date TRAP? The SSCI was provided with a traceable version of the Page FISA that had the wrong date.

      Here’s my best guess-
      1) The Intelligence Community (IC) leaked Schiff, Elliot and Cummings top secret information about the July 25 phone call to Schiff & co.
      2) Schiff & Co. prepared this narrative.
      3) The IC leaker(s) learned that IC leaks of confidential & top-secret information to Congress were being traced. The IC leaker(s) filed a whistleblower complaint so that the ICIG would then forward the leaked documents to Congress, giving Schiff, Elliot and Commings plausible deniability about why the had the documents.
      4) DNI blocked ICIG from providing the documents, e.g. “laundering the leak”. This leaves Schiff & Co in possession of confidential & top-secret documents with no legal excuse for possessing them.
      5) DNI and POTUS are now playing mind games with IC leaker(s) and Schiff, Elliot, and Cummings; by hinting that the leaked documents were marked, just like the Page-FISA.

THIS is why Schiff & Co. are now screaming for the release of the transcript, because Schiff & Co. need to ret-con why they have and were distributing classified & top-secret information.

Sundance.one other thing. Schiff and company are asking for an unredacted copy of the phone call. If it does exist it most likely can not be released. It is likely to be highly classified with statements regarding potential Russian geo-political and military movements and the Ukraine and our counters. It may contain Ukrainian domestic political concerns as well as known Intel.sources ( ours, theirs or Russian ) identified loosely by involvement or directly by position or name.

Shiff and friends may get to see it but; if redacted “the truth of the crimes are being hidden” if not reacted, ” the truth of the crimes exceed anything you can imagine”. Since the unredacted version could likely never be shown that statement will be the cover for the media. No win on release for Trump unless this was a very vanilla conversation of congradulation and a Ukrainian Biden tyrade and warning of our ambassador to Ukraine loyalty to (deep state/ Russia? 😒) Likely he will just go Executive privilege.

So we know what is happening and what to expect. The next question is does it matter to re-election. Those that care already know Orange man bad. I doubt those who have already decided to vote for him will be swayed.

It will create talking points for candidates. It will create fodder for the talking heads but it won’t sway votes to the Dems. The divide in this country is a fault line the Democratic party is slipping into the ocean. We are reaching down and tossing ropes and ladders over the edge saving who we can, but the rest are doomed to irelevance.

Exclusively the purview of the President, and undertaken by the party on the other end of the line with the expectation of absolute secrecy. Not that partisans within one government or the other would illegally make a headline out of it. This is a diplomatic disaster.

Both Trump and the Ukrainians know what Joe Biden was doing and they want to fix it. This should have remained state secret … just like Joe’s original extortion.

This was a diplomatic conversation between sovereign heads of state. (No doubt the same venue Biden used to originally strong-arm the Ukrainian Government and get away with it.) They’ve all been using this technology since Winston Churchill chatted-up FDR using AT&T’s marvelous inventions … with an expectation of candor and secrecy that is protected by laws everywhere.

Now we have a President who wants transparency and honesty, as does the nation with whom he is now speaking “privately and freely.”

Bam! Partisan American politics busts through this veil and creates a headline … out of their mutual attempt to fix(!) the damage by a conversation that was “nobody’s business but theirs.”

Now, how can any other head of state want to call the Americans nor take a call from them? Of course they all know they’re being listened-to by friend and enemy alike, but to break the trust in this most-vital form of diplomacy is not only a felony … and, not whistleblowing … but a disaster.

Furthermore: Joe Biden is the only one who was originally wrong here. It’s not a crime to want to fix it! Duh.

From that and due to obvious current trends, I have ZERO faith that the system will self-reform by adequately revealing -OFFICIALLY- in adequate detail the SpyGate conspiracy and then adequately punishing the perps involved, the ONLY real deterrent to prevent future SpyGates, and ZERO faith in our voting public to provide the public pressure to demand that reform since it’s hard to demand reform WHEN YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA ABOUT THE SEVERITY OF THE SCANDAL.

To repeat, from someone who’d know:

Here’s an example from history: the 15 YEAR LONG operation called COINTELRPO was only discovered ACCIDENTALLY through an FBI field office break-in that wasn’t even looking for it. While I agree with the program’s goals – countering communist influence in the US – the methods used were hugely illegal and egregiously violated the Bill of Rights. Yet, no one of any significance that I can find went to jail over it.

And some people believe the government has become less CYA cover-up prone and ADEPT since then?

Zippy, your post sums it up pretty well. I encountered TDS yesterday in my golf outing. You know, I know and the rest of the Treepers know but 99.9% of the rest of the country DOESN’T know the facts.

It’s pretty bad out there. People just say President Trump is a crook and belongs in jail. Why? They can’t tell you WHY but they just know he’s guilty of something cuase they saw it on the MSM. You can say names like Mifsud, Downer, Poppa D. heck even LT. GEN. Mike Flynn and they might have heard of one name but they have no grasp of the facts or timeline.

That’s it for me! There needs to be some perp walks at 5am with guns drawn. They are controlling the narrative we have to change that to start getting the info out in the main steam. The TDS people may not understand the arrests but they will have to get knowledgable to be able to talk rationally.
Hey if the IG over at the ODNI, Mike Atkinson, has done anything wrong well, he is still a Government employee. Come on Bagpipes here is your battle cry. Or maybe since the whistle blower isn’t covered by whistle blower protection, come on Bagpipes, 5am raid.

      That’s it for me.

A study has shown that 6 out of 10 Americans ONLY read typically click bait HEADLINES that are often not even accurate representations of the article content which is NOT read and then share them as fact with friends.

        Retractions/corrections are never headlines.

You couldn’t design a better system to manipulate/propagandize an inattentive public.

      • The control of information is something the elite always does, particularly in a despotic form of government. Information, knowledge, is power. If you can control information, you can control people.

I think you are failing to grasp one simple fact. Democrats don’t care what it takes to impeach Trump, and that includes man on the street Democrats. The ends justify the means to them because they want to believe what they have been told. It’s the Mamet principle and cognitive dissonance all rolled into one. So, all the dot’s can be connected and a presentation can be given to each and every one individually in power point form. They would walk away in the end saying, but, but, but. Russia, but Ukraine…………………..
Once they have bought into Orange man Bad, their is no amount of facts that will turn them from what they see as the truth. What’s the quote? It’s easier to fool someone than convince them they have been fooled.

How about Lawfare? FOIA violations, LTG Flynn? Upwards of 425 and probably all 90 or so of the other 100 involved in FOIA violations. I have no proof mind you but how do you become a millionare. Start with the Podesta brothers. Didn’t they refile after the fact? Same with Flynn but no Flynn intentionally entered wrong info, REALLY? What the HELL was KERRY doing in Iran?

Where is our side of LAWFARE??? Come on it doesn’t take much to get someone to turn if stiff sentances are applied. This coup attempt is so massive and just the tip of the iceberg, 1 thread pull will unravel most of the garment but it better happen SOON cause most of the Nation is already gone.

If they ever repeal 2A that’s it folks game over or Civil War. Think it can’t happen here in the good ol USA, It’s 2019 and Venesuala, Hong Kong, Yellow Vests in France, Brexit, slaughtering Christians and babies everywhere and here in the USA we have no idea what the CIA is doing or even what their budget is.

Sorry rant over but I think I just lost a lot of hope that JUSTICE will prevail.

I realize my posts are getting to be a broken record, But We must be Pre-pared for surprises from the Proggie Deep Staters. Who knew the Feral Gov BATF and later FIB were going to sponsor a massacre in Waco?
I hope and pray We do not sit idly by if they pull another one. We should expect more mass shootings as they attempt to implement our eventual disarmament. It’s just history repeating itself, Tyrannies always disarm the populace beforehand.

Watch those man on the street interviews the late night shows do sometimes where they ask the man (or woman) on the street to name a Supreme Court justice, or who won the Civil War, or who the vice president is, or … 99.9% might be low when it comes to Russia! Russia! Russia or, now, Ukraine! Ukraine! Ukraine!

I wondered too. But even FNC is lax on details and dot connecting. So if FNC is remiss, what about the MSM. My wife has met three well educated, intelligent women recently that are so progressive that they don’t even acknowledge that the Mueller report cleared Trump. As Dan says, progressives will not change, you are trying to educate the listeners to the discussion.
A friend who is a progressive believes everything that CNN and MSNBC reports on Trump. Then he found out I was a climate denier, he went off on me and would not listen to my points based on my research on scientific information on the sun’s impact. So I’m a double evil person now, it seems. We have a group dinner this week and I expect the whistle blower info to cause a friendly attack on Trump and me. Such is life, but I am thick skinned and he alienates more people than he realizes.
