  1. A little off topic here folks, but had to share. My husband turned on Netflix last night. I know. I’m sorry. But yes, we still have Netflix and yes, I can’t get enough of it, so I apologize. But anyway, for those who are still holdouts, like myself, I would HIGHLY recommend the new Bill Barr comedy special. The guy has some serious cajones, I tell ya! If you got to see Chapelle and loved it, you’ll really like this guy too. He’s actually kind of liberal on some topics, as is Chapelle. But it’s the clarity of reason and the comedy of the messed up social mores happening right now is incredible. Rotten Tomatoes will probably have it at Zero tomatoes by now, but LOVE HIM!!!

    • This is off your current topic, but are you aware that POTUS has seemed to change his perspective on vaping…now he seems to understand it is the counterfeit stuff that is bad and he understands how it has helped people quit smoking. It was a tweet… I posted it on here when it happened, but haven’t come across you since then…hope you heard about this as I know you were really upset.

Talking about Netflix. How many Treepers are aware of the fact that Netflix has lost 20% of it’s value since announcing decreased revenues last July. Analysts familiar with the company are now forecasting another 20% drop before things turn around, if they do.

Disney and Apple going into the movie streaming business at full speed represent stiff competition for Netflix. I suspect political involvements (e.g., the Obamas having free reign at Netflix to push propaganda on the subscribers) is also a discouraging element for existing customers as well as potential new ones.

BTW, isn’t it funny that whatever the Obamas touch turns into smelly manure whereas PDJT retains his magic touch even without a visible wand?

The hilarious thing is that on Netflix (here in Canada at least), they have a Scottish half-hour comedy show called Still Game – 7 seasons of it – about 2 pensioners living in Glasgow.

It is maximally non-PC (and I mean MAXIMALLY), and it’s hilarious. And it would horrify the Obama crowd if they got wind of it.

The only downside is you may need to have the sub-titles on – the Scottish accent is VERY broad.

I wonder what those Rand Paul type code pinks (who think Iran and Hezbollah aren’t a threat to the US have to say about this

    https://nypost.com/2019/09/19/hezbollah-terrorist-scouted-nyc-area-locations-feds/
“Hezbollah terrorist scouted NYC-area locations: feds”

“Saab surveilled dozens of locations in New York City—including the United Nations headquarters, the Statue of Liberty, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, the Empire State Building, the federal offices at 26 Federal Plaza, and local airports, tunnels, and bridges, including the George Washington Bridge.

The detailed information recovered from his computers included photographs and details on the structural weaknesses — or “soft spots” — of these locations, officials alleged.”

Label us code pink all day….but you seem to miss our point. We have NEVER said Iran is not a threat. What we say is that we must follow the Constitution where Congress declares war AND get a warrant before spying on Americans. In fact it’s your side that doesn’t go far enough….if Iran is a threat enough for Congress to declare war, then demolish the country and take the land AND OIL as our own.

But the real fun is if Lizzie Warren gets the democrat nomination.
The thought of SOME OTHER WOMAN being the first female President and defeating her arch nemesis PDJT (won’t happen) will drive Madam absolutely bananas. . . , she won’t be able to keep her mouth shut.

Why does our Federal Government never give preference to our own people, our own children? What do they get from selling out our kids, our future?

And to divert our attention away from his donor, Schiff does a spin 😛

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. Department of Justice played a key role in a Trump administration decision to withhold a whistleblower complaint from Congress, U.S. House Intelligence panel chairman Adam Schiff said on Thursday, adding that lawmakers did not know yet if the White House was involved.

Schiff, speaking to reporters after a closed-door meeting with the intelligence community’s inspector general, said that the Justice Department had misinterpreted the law in blocking the complaint.

Schiff inventing the wheel again? Collusion with a whistleblower…Makes UP Stuff

Alert!! RINOs/GOPe at work!!! NDAA in the process of passing. House will pass as they Dems have a majority. But why does this mess pass the Senate?! My Senator Blackburn is bragging about the goodies coming to TN through this bill –>> but it does not secure our SW border!!!!!!! And includes many things that range from concerning to downright petty/spiteful!!

I am sure there are other items of concern but these are the items that stand out to me. Provisions of concern include:

    1) SEC. 1015. ASSESSMENT OF IMPACT OF PROPOSED BORDER WALL ON VOLUME OF ILLEGAL NARCOTICS.
The Secretary of Defense, in consultation with the Secretary of Homeland Security, shall conduct an assessment of the impact that any planned or proposed border wall construction would have on the volume of illegal narcotics entering the United States.

–>> why? to underestimate and discount the necessity of securing our SW border?

    2) SEC. 1046. PROHIBITION ON USE OF FUNDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A WALL, FENCE, OR OTHER PHYSICAL BARRIER ALONG THE SOUTHERN BORDER OF THE UNITED STATES.
    (a) Prohibition.—National defense funds may not be obligated, expended, or otherwise used to design or carry out a project to construct, replace, or modify a wall, fence, or other physical barrier along the international border between the United States and Mexico.

    (b) National Defense Funds Defined.—In this section, the term “national defense funds” means—

    (1) amounts authorized to be appropriated for any purpose in this division or authorized to be appropriated in division A of any National Defense Authorization Act for any of fiscal years 2015 through 2019, including any amounts of such an authorization made available to the Department of Defense and transferred to another authorization by the Secretary of Defense pursuant to transfer authority available to the Secretary; and

    (2) funds appropriated in any Act pursuant to an authorization of appropriations described in paragraph (1).

–>> This seems to control past funds and would that mean that funds transferred to the SW border wall in this current year now be taken back from securing the border?

    3) SEC. 1080E. COMPTROLLER GENERAL REVIEW OF DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE SUPPORT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY OPERATIONS ON THE SOUTHWEST BORDER OF THE UNITED STATES.
    (a) Review Required.—The Comptroller General of the United States shall conduct a review of ongoing and planned future Department of Defense support for Department of Homeland Security operations to secure the southwest border of the United States.

    (b) Report And Briefing.—

    (1) BRIEFING.—Not later than 180 days after beginning to conduct the review required under subsection (a), the Comptroller General shall provide to the Committees on Armed Services and Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs of the Senate and the Committees on Armed Services and Homeland Security of the House of Representatives a briefing on the review.

    (2) REPORT.—Subsequent to providing the briefing under paragraph (1), the Comptroller General shall submit to the Committees on Armed Services and Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs of the Senate and the Committees on Armed Services and Homeland Security of the House of Representatives a report on the review.

–>>Back door methods to oversee, manage (mismanage) and to know all that President Trump and the administration have planned at the border?

4)SEC. 1048. LIMITATION ON USE OF FUNDS TO HOUSE CHILDREN SEPARATED FROM PARENTS.
    &
SEC. 1049. LIMITATION ON USE OF FUNDS FOR PROVIDING HOUSING FOR UNACCOMPANIED ALIEN CHILDREN.
–>>way to control US immigration policy???

    5) SEC. 1050A. LIMITATION ON USE OF FUNDS FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF EXPENSES AT CERTAIN PROPERTIES.
    (a) Limitation.—None of the funds made available for the Department of Defense may be obligated or expended to the following properties or to an entity with an ownership interest in such property:
    {Lists all/many Trump properties}
–>> does this prohibit the President from being at home or any his properties because the Secret Service and military can not stay there?

    6) SEC. 1050B. LIMITATION ON USE OF FUNDS FOR EXHIBITION OF PARADE OF MILITARY FORCES AND HARDWARE FOR REVIEW BY THE PRESIDENT.
None of the funds authorized to be appropriated by this Act or otherwise appropriated for Fiscal Year 2020 for the Department of Defense may be obligated or expended for any exhibition or parade of military forces and hardware, with the exception of the display of small arms and munitions appropriate for customary ceremonial honors and for the participation of military units that perform customary ceremonial duties, for review by the President in a public or private exercise outside of authorized military operations or activities.
–>>Can’t have an Independence Day parade next year?

    7) SEC. 1050C. PROHIBITION ON USE OF DOD EQUIPMENT, PERSONNEL, AND FACILITIES FOR ICE DETENTION.
No facilities, equipment, or personnel of the Department of Defense may be used to house or construct any housing for any foreign nationals who are in the custody of and detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
–>> No military cooperation with ICE?!

Listening to a clip by that internationally acclaimed climatologist AOC. Drove me to the research bin. 800 years ago ended the Warm Age and 2.6 million years ago ended the latest Ice Age. In that period of time, the temperature increased 14 degrees Fahrenheit. The rate has increased by less than a degree since, likely attributable to the vast increase in world population. I think the climate alarmists are correct—they should stop reproducing until the trend is reversed and the temperature changes to a decrease. Someone needs to come up with a pledge so all climate alarmists can join in this temperature reducing venture. After 100 years, we will celebrate your successes (likely posthumously and without existing family)!
