      Zerohedge, “democrats smell blood….”

      The interesting part?
“Aug. 8: After Trump’s pick of Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-Tex.) to replace Coats falls through, Trump announces Joseph Maguire would take on the role in an acting capacity. In doing so, he bypassed Sue Gordon, who had been Coats’s No. 2 at DNI and was a career intelligence official with bipartisan support. Gordon would also resign.

Aug. 9: A brief letter from Gordon to Trump is released. It makes her disappointment clear, “I offer this letter as an act of respect & patriotism, not preference,” she writes. “You should have your team.

      Aug. 12: Whistleblower files complaint.

Sept. 13: House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam B. Schiff (D-Calif.) subpoenas Maguire to compel him to disclose the whistleblower complaint. Schiff says the complaint was determined to be “credible” by Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson, but doesn’t say much more.

Sept. 17: Maguire says he will not testify or hand over the whistleblower complaint. Schiff said Maguire told him he couldn’t “because he is being instructed not to, that this involved a higher authority, someone above.”

Sept. 18: The Post reports the complaint involves Trump’s communications with a foreign leader and some kind of “promise” that was made”

I watched that yesterday. It was…what I expected. The leftists, with supreme arrogance, made unsubstantiated or debunked claims, as if indisputable gospel, and conservatives didn’t get much of an opportunity to rebut them. Still interesting. The Christine Quinn person was the very loud and yappy leader of the gravely uninformed pack. When there’s genuine official documentation, including courts, that contradict their “truths”, it just makes them look lazy and stupid…and they’re dang proud of it.  As I heard Bongino say, “Libs are “faccinated.” And they wonder why the majority of people don’t trust the media.

President Trump has got to stop the increase in working visas for Indian workers who are taking jobs away from American college graduates.
    What happened to America first?
Not just blue collar jobs but college graduates, many with debt, shouldn’t be pushed aside by foreign workers.
The WH just increased 100,000 visas for the spouses of foreign workers and there is a new bill that Republicans have voted for that will continue increasing foreign workers.
I hope President Trump does not go along with this. Wrong direction for our country.

Hard hitting report, ‘Averting Crisis’ on collective Defense of the Indo-Pacific.

This is a review of the report and the link to the report is embedded in the article. Tough to read, but necessary.

‘Blunders eroded US military edge in Pacific
‘Averting Crisis’ report shows China has made big strides in region because of US inability to recognize the PLA as its key rival’

‘The United States Studies Center at the University of Sydney recently issued a report: “Averting Crisis: American Strategy, Military Spending and Collective Defense in the Indo-Pacific.” Averting Disaster would be a better title. The crisis is already here.

The report correctly describes America’s eroded military edge in the Indo-Pacific – such that the Chinese People’s Liberation Army even outmatches US forces in certain areas. In fact this was apparent 10 or more years ago. Yet anyone sounding the alarm would have been poorly received at most academic institutions – maybe even the University of Sydney.

So while the report’s findings are unsurprising, the fact it was even written is a pleasant surprise.

    👇👇
‘But while the US has a strong hand there’s something missing, and the University of Sydney report overlooks it as well. That is the human element and how inept leadership – military and civilian – got the US military into the current crisis in the Indo-Pacific.

How else does one explain a PACOM commander declaring climate change his biggest worry – not the People Liberation Army – and a Navy secretary prioritizing “green fuels” over arming US ships with anti-ship missiles that go as far and as fast as the Chinese navy’s missiles?’

      https://www.breitbart.com/tech/2019/09/18/facebook-admits-its-a-publisher-in-court-filings/

“The distinction between publisher and platform is central to the legal protections enjoyed by big tech companies, and is frequently cited by Republican lawmakers in their criticism of Silicon Valley’s political bias.

Under section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, tech platforms have immunity from lawsuits arising out of their decisions to host (or not to to host) user-generated content. Unlike publishers, which are liable if their writers defame someone, a tech platform is not held liable for content created by its users.

Yet Facebook appears to be jettisoning this categorization in its court filings, saying it has a First Amendment right as a publisher not to carry Loomer’s content.

      Via Facebook’s legal filings (p2):

Under well-established law, neither Facebook nor any other publisher can be liable for failing to publish someone else’s message.”

So now those two NYTimes reporters have a NEW smear of Kavanaugh: he was apparently willing to be interviewed as long as they denied that he had been interviewed. HuffPo and other outlets are now running with headline: “Kavanaugh Wanted the Reporters to Lie.”

    https://www.huffpost.com/entry/new-york-times-reporters-kavanaugh-lie-interview_n_5d82da62e4b0849d47233e56

The journalistic practices of “off the record” and “deep background” conversations are designed for exactly this purpose — especially when the source in question is also the subject of the piece. Both practices are commonplace and ethically sound…yet now they’re smearing him over this.

It’s really disappointing that Kavanaugh would come so close to agreeing to an interview with these two. That says he hasn’t really learned the lesson that there is no “making nice” with these people.

But instead these two (now the “victims” ) make it sound like he secretly called them up and in hushed voice tried to have a guilty conversation with them to spike story or something but their journalistic integrity blah blah ….- They are trying to change the subject. Pathetic, shows they had an agenda and nervous now that THEY have become the focus of the story not Justice Kav. I guess the “editor’s fault” excuse didn’t do it.

One is aimed at finding out who leaked transcripts of the US president’s phone call with Turnbull on 28 January 2017, a call with the then Mexican president, Enrique Peña Nieto, and former national security adviser Michael Flynn’s communications with a Russian ambassador.

Meanwhile, your newspaper will be fined $1 billion dollars per day. In other words – it will cease to exist. Problem solved. “Yes, they leaked it … but you published it.”

Fear not treepers, Nadler’s committee is holding a VERY IMPORTANT hrg today…. on Policing Practices Oversight… with Eric Garner’s mother and REV AL SHARPTON testifying. A ray of hope, Heather McDonald is also testifying, whom the Dems will mock and ignore.

Another hearing, House Foreign Affairs on Afghanistan. What we’re spending on a wasteland, how long we should stay, yadayadayada.

I do not twitter so I copy/pasted the following tweet. Never heard of the author and don’t think it really matters. He works for the Washington Post so consider the source:

    Begin Tweet
The new details emerging about Trump’s involvement in this story are damning on their own. But they also illustrate a broad theme of the Trump presidency: how his enablers keep wheeling the machinery of government into action to insulate his corruption from accountability.”
    End Tweet

Amazing to watch the media in action. What makes me most mad is that I fell for this shit again. Sundance is full of great advice, but his best and most simple advice is: emotions prevent your rationale brain from operating correctly

Why is John Bolton out trying to be nasty about the Presidents policies?, for goodness sake
PT only said that he didn’t agree with Bolton and some of the other people couldn’t get along with him, so what is his problem today and yesterday that he couldn’t wait to start knocking the President and his policies.. dang not good..

    • Yep … authority has its privileges, and the THE BUCK STOPS HERE sign is on his desk. What the intelligence official did is very likely criminal. Although officers from many governments (of course) eavesdrop on any diplomatic conversation, they should not release anything that they hear, nor make any sort of “complaint” about it at all. “They are minions. He is the President.”

Sorry mikey. I’m having trouble keeping out one very persistaet troll, and he just happens to to share four letters that match part of your email address. Our comment filter (Askimet) is having trouble discerning between you and this troll. I’ll have to find another way to block him.

I also just released all your earlier comments. Sorry for the confusion…. 😦

This is very good news, and even more encouraging, is the fact that this happened in California:
    https://nypost.com/2019/09/19/chinese-woman-pleads-guilty-in-california-birth-tourism-case/

Chinese woman pleads guilty in California ‘birth tourism’ case

What needs to happen now, is all the women who used this woman’s services need to be tracked down, their babies’ citizenship revoked, and they need to be fined at least in the amount of any government benefits they received, then if they are still here, they need to be jailed.
If they are back in China, they need to be permanently banned from re-entry.

I’m sick of communists using our country was a way to boost the wealth of their middle class.
I’m sickened that this nonsense went on for so long, all because we were continuing along that farcical birthright citizenship crap.
