585 Days Since Susan Rice Email Was Exposed – Content Still Redacted, Why?….

On February 8th, 2018, Senator Lindsey Graham first revealed an inauguration day email from Susan Rice to herself. That’s 585 days ago and yet we still don’t know what is behind the removed and classified paragraph.  Why is this being kept hidden?

(L-R) Ruemmler, Obama, Monaco and Rice

At 12:15pm on January 20th, 2017, Obama’s outgoing National Security Advisor Susan Rice wrote a memo-to-self. Many people have called this her “CYA” (cover your ass) memo, from the position that Susan Rice was protecting herself from consequences if the scheme against President Trump was discovered. Here’s the email:

On January 5, following a briefing by IC leadership on Russian hacking during the 2016 Presidential election, President Obama had a brief follow-on conversation with FBI Director Jim Corney and Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates in the Oval Office. Vice President Biden and I were also present.

President Obama began the conversation by stressing his continued commitment to ensuring that every aspect of this issue is handled by the Intelligence and law enforcement communities “by the book“.

The President stressed that he is not asking about, initiating or instructing anything from a law enforcement perspective. He reiterated that our law enforcement team needs to proceed as it normally would, by the book.

From a national security perspective, however, President Obama said he wants to be sure that, as we engage with the incoming team, we are mindful to ascertain if there is any reason that we cannot share information fully as it relates to Russia.

[Redacted Classified Section of Unknown length]

The President asked Corney to inform him if anything changes in the next few weeks that should affect how we share classified information with the incoming team. Corney said he would.

Susan Rice ~ (pdf link)

This has the hallmarks of an Obama administration justification memo, written by an outgoing National Security Advisor Susan Rice to document why there have been multiple false and misleading statements given to incoming President Trump and his officials.

This is not a “CYA” memo per se’, this appears to be a justification memo for use AFTER the Trump-Russia collusion/conspiracy narrative collapsed; if the impeachment effort failed.

The “By The Book” aspect refers to President Obama and Susan Rice being told by CIA Director John Brennan, FBI Director James Comey, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates, that President Trump was the subject of an active counterintelligence investigation….  Yet, Rice denies ever knowing about Trump being under investigation.

So with that investigation concluded, why doesn’t Senator Lindsey Graham release the full email content, including the classified and redacted aspects which remain hidden?

Susan Rice responded to Senator Graham’s letter through her attorney Kathryn Ruemmler. Ms. Ruemmler is now the global co-chairman of the Latham & Watkins white collar criminal defense practice; she formerly served as White House Counsel to Obama.

Ruemmler’s letter stated there was nothing unusual about Rice’s email memorializing a White House meeting two weeks after the meeting occurred, January 5, 2017.  Additionally, Ms. Rice’s lawyer said her client was completely unaware of the FBI investigation into President Trump at the time she made the draft on January 20th.

Ruemmler’s letter on behalf of Rice states:

The memorandum to file drafted by Ambassador Rice memorialized an important national security discussion between President Obama and the FBI Director and the Deputy Attorney General. President Obama and his national security team were justifiably concerned about potential risks to the Nation’s security from sharing highly classified information about Russia with certain members of the Trump transition team, particularly Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn.

In light of concerning communications between members of the Trump team and Russian officials, before and after the election, President Obama, on behalf of his national security team, appropriately sought the FBI and the Department of Justice’s guidance on this subject. In the conversation Ambassador Rice documented, there was no discussion of Christopher Steele or the Steele dossier, contrary to the suggestion in your letter.

Given the importance and sensitivity of the subject matter, and upon the advice of the White House Counsel’s Office, Ambassador Rice created a permanent record of the discussion. Ambassador Rice memorialized the discussion on January 20, because that was the first opportunity she had to do so, given the particularly intense responsibilities of the National Security Advisor during the remaining days of the Administration and transition.

Ambassador Rice memorialized the discussion in an email sent to herself during the morning of January 20, 2017. The time stamp reflected on the email is not accurate, as Ambassador Rice departed the White House shortly before noon on January 20.

While serving as National Security Advisor, Ambassador Rice was not briefed on the existence of any FBI investigation into allegations of collusion between Mr. Trump’s associates and Russia, and she later learned of the fact of this investigation from Director Comey’s subsequent public testimony.

Ambassador Rice was not informed of any FISA applications sought by the FBI in its investigation, and she only learned of them from press reports after leaving office.

.

Everything about this Susan Rice email, including the explanations from her lawyer Kathryn H. Ruemmler, is sketchy and suspicious.  The sketchy extends to Senator Graham’s lack of action to declassify the redacted paragraph.

Nothing about this is passing the sniff test…

Left to right: Kathryn H. Ruemmler, President Obama, Lisa Monaco and Susan Rice.

It’s becoming apparent to me that the reason that this is taking so long is because of POTUS. Ocsams razor. If he wanted this out, it would be out. He would simply tweet stuff over wrays objection. If he could tweet that his wires were tapped, he could tweet “Obama’s team were doing illegal nsa searches on me and my family”. No one could stop him. He hasn’t. Consider this. I have always believed the Dems are clever. Not so much. They have bungled and been outmaneuvered in this whole sh1t storm. Why the f are they going after kavanaugh now? The story collapsed. Emoluments has collapsed. Turnberry collapsed. Recession and the inverted curve collapsed. Scarramucci? Mattis? Biden is imploding. Corn Pop and a knife fight? Warren could be the choice.??? Pocohantas!!! Adam Schiff and a whistle blower? Stormy part 2? Why are they throwing all this crap out there now? Why not wait until 2020? Distraction? Flood the zone with fake news. Why? Is rbg dying of cancer? Dems don’t usually panic. But they are panicking. Big time. Cripes. What do the Dems and Trump know? Why are the Dems and the MSM panicking? It can’t be good for them. What is gonna come out. What does Trump have? They could not take out the Teflon Don. And now he watches and waits.

Bill Durham, your observations seem solid. What theory would explain what we see? I probably know less than others here, but I can speculate with enthusiasm. As PDJT’s merry band of excavators have kept digging, they have kept uncovering more parts to the story. It grows larger, runs to more places, and involves people and entities seen as “untouchable.” So what event will put PDJT beyond the reach of the most scurrilous accusations of his motives for releasing the whole story in all it’s stinking glory and detail? Re-election seems like a reasonable milestone. And if it turns out that BHO led a cabal to overthrow our elected government and made seditious alliances with other countries in the process, PDJT needs to be as solid as the rock of Gibraltar when his administration rolls that out. And if we learn new and disturbing details about JFK’s assassination, the 9-11 attack, and BHO’s actual citizenship in the process, adequate preparations will have been made to deal with the rabid pack of hyenas we call the democrat party and mainstream media in advance. Well, I said speculation.

I think he IS playing with them. Or at least that’s what I like to think. Something along the lines of: someone told someone something about how damaging info is about to be released about the coup, so the NYT puts out a hit piece against Kavanuagh to blunt the impact, but…the damaging info didn’t come out, because he was rope-a-doping them. To see what they would do. To make them look foolish. I don’t know, it’s probably not that, but I like to think of PDJT sitting in the White House, or on Marine 1, or Air Force One, all the while wiggling a little laser pen around in one hand, watching the MSM chase the dot on the ground, while he’s saving the world with his other hand.

“What theory would explain what we see?”

Simple, a C-O-V-E-R-U-P to prevent the OFFICIAL revelation of a seditious criminal conspiracy which would destroy, to anyone who cared and hasn’t already been paying close attention for the decades before this latest scandal, the legitimacy of major three letter agencies, an OFFICIAL revelation to even the most clueless that we live in a banana republic.

Just as Nixon was pardoned “for the good of the nation,” and ex-CIA legal office employee William Barr who as ex-CIA head GHW Bush’s AG was intimately involved in the Iran-Contra cover-up through pardons, this scandal cover-up is also probably rationalized as being for the good of the nation and, most definitely, for the good of those huge three letter agencies.

NOTE how each of the “investigations” is very limited in its scope so as to avoid officially CONNECTING THE DOTS and how, as Tom Fitton and others have pointed out, each “investigation” takes an inexcusable amount of time (18 MONTHS from McCabe’s firing to the release of an “investigation”) and how, as Fitton has said, Barr’s DOJ is even LESS cooperative than Sessions.

BTW, I put “investigation” in quotes since one can avoid finding things one wants to avoid be simply not “going there” and avoiding answering KEY questions like the “old age addled” Mueller who in his “dementia” somehow knew EXACTLY what questions to avoid answering.

So, lose the hopium addiction and stop grasping at 4D chess straws… even Tom Fitton of the tiny NGO Judicial Watch that has done more than CONgress and the DOJ combined Judicial Watch is smelling a rat.

Good points, Bill Durham. It does seem quite likely the good stuff is being held for an October Surprise NEXT year, even tho a little smack down this October would be like cooling breezes on the base. But, we can wait. The timing is not ours to decide.

As the investigative experts continue to peel the onion, go after first one lead and then the other, then glue the layers back on so they can peel them again later since nothing happened the first time, it seems more and more that POTUS is aiming high.

President Trump knows so much more than anyone opining/pouring over reams can hope to know. Notice where his intentions are beginning to lead: BHO. Notice how bold the former First Couple are, they appear totally unafraid of what’s coming. False confidence, or flat out arrogance?

Michelle has tossed aside the mindset of wondering when one person has enough money. Remembering when her petty, bitter husband went after Peyton Manning when the Broncos visited the WH after winning the Super Bowl. Barry nitpicked about how much money Manning was making in football, pizza and insurance commercials, etc. BHO loves to take digs at wealthy people that don’t agree with his politics. Now that the O’s are landing book deals worth enough to alleviate poverty for thousands upon thousands, now that Michelle is starting yet another speaking tour, charging thousands to be graced by her presence, there seems no limit as to when enough is enough. Why so bold?

As Dem candidates continue to unravel and implode, is Michelle collecting big money and building an elite donor base by espousing moderation ahead of her run for office? Chosen One 2.0 for 20.20?

Is our POTUS keeping powder dry in the event Michelle makes a surprise entrance into the 2020 race?** If the criminal dirt comes out now, the Media Complex will douse flames immediately. There’s likely a strategy in both camps. The media is ready for it but if the news is damning enough, even CNN/Joe and Mika can’t save the O’s from what they have wrought. **Yes, there are ‘rules’ and deadlines as to when a candidate can enter a presidential race but we’re talking Dem’s here. What rules and regs?

Yes, there’s the ‘Memo to Self’ that Susan Rice made sure would be found. The companion piece to her memo is a one-liner email from Lisa Page to Strzok that never has gotten any attention from Lindsey either: “POTUS wants to know everything we’re doing”. Seems that says it all.

I think it never occurred to many of them that it was a false narrative that wasn’t provable because there wasn’t anything to prove. Some knew it was bogus – Strzok knew the IC was not going to find anything – hence the shift to obstruction, rather than collusion. However, I think many of them, in their minds, wanted the role they played to be known.

Under the current way things are playing out, we have to accept we don’t know what color hat Barr is wearing. We got burned with Sessions. We are still in “wait and see” mode about Barr but it doesn’t look good. (And why the EFF is Wray still head of the FBI???)

I would love for Barr to be a white hat here and that he’s simply doing it “by the book” and also waiting for a time when all of the right evidence has been collected to ensure everyone (or all of the most important players) are made subject to justice. Nothing would make me happier. But we don’t know. Lack of visible action isn’t evidence that nothing is happening. And we haven’t seen anything which provides strong indication he’s wearing a heat other than white as far as I’m concerned. We just don’t know.

Otherwise I would be happy to put Barr’s face there — it would be trivial. I just don’t know if it’s right.

Joe DiGenova had a theory he expressed shortly after election day 2016, that Hillary had planned a massive investigation/show trial of Donald Trump and his people as payback for the rough (Crooked Hillary) election campaign. After she won.

That would explain the languid investigation: Papad was fingered in July 2016 but not interviewed until January 2017. The Steele Dossier was passed around as gossip but not seriously used in the election; not like the Billy Bush video.

After the election they pivoted and got serious. We may have been following a wrong theory of the case all along..

Just keep in mind the percentage of people who made the US Revolutionary war happen as well as the percentage of people who made the US Civil war happen. The numbers for the Revolutionary war was far less than 50% and I’m unable to find numbers for the Civil war though I expect it largely depends on when people were asked (before the Union invasion of the South or after). Either way, I suspect it’s also far less than 50%

        http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/general_politics/june_2018/31_think_u_s_civil_war_likely_soon

According Rasmussen, 31 percent of the US population believe a civil war will happen in the US. That’s a rather large amount of people who believe big changes of “some kind” are not far away. Sure, you can say “millions” are not ready. But what does “ready” mean? I’d say people are aware of the potential for big and upsetting change. That doesn’t mean “ready” to some but as a driver who carries a spare tire in his car, I am “ready” to experience a flat tire but not in the sense that I want it to happen.

So I would say 31% is more than enough awareness of the situation as that 31% would be capable of providing the insight to the rest of the population.

All that to say is I believe we are ready enough though I doubt there is enough to form a prediction about acceptance of what would happen if the Trump administration released the Kraken. So to that end, I would say the over-all trust in the media is amazingly low which goes a long way as to why Trump has been working non-stop to discredit the media. After all, if you’re about to change the fundamental structure of a swampy government, the media which supports the swamp needs to be the first to suffer from lack of public trust. Otherwise, the media would do as it always has — convince the people of stupid things like “NAZIs and KKK are ‘Far right’ when they are both actually ‘Far left.'”

Ben Sasse, the Prince of Denmark, couldn’t decide whether to run again in 2020. He meant that if given the chance he would vote yes on impeachment, then retire, knowing he was finished in politics.

One can only hope and pray we FISA’d all those traitors and will have inserted assets into their offices and lives to bring them down as they attempted will PDJT. But just as it took them years of surveillance so it will take the good guys.
From what I’m reading the Flynn case is the linchpin to bringing them all down. Or maybe it’s the impetus. Anywho, Flynn case needs to be settled first. Then we may hear about Roger Stone getting railroaded and learn more from there.

Maybe the reason the President gave full declassify powers directly to AG Barr is strategic. Think about it. If Barr came out of retirement to protect the swamp, that will now become rather obvious. After all, it was Turtle that recommended Barr for AG in the first place.

How else would PDJT flush out another AG poser, prior to the 2020 election? With the SDNY now joining in the fray, all indications are we have another *possum* at the wheel at DOJ. And the sooner we see it, the better.

President Trump and others keep saying that this should never happen to another president.

Well, if they get away with it, it definitely WILL happen again.

Declassifying and exposing the dirty deeds is an important first step, but it’s not enough.

Perp walks and prison time just might discourage others from trying it again. In fact, it’s the ONLY way to ensure that it DOESN’T happen to another president.

None of it. While the election unquestionably has to be considered, it would go VERY badly for Trump if the public perceives the execution of justice as a political maneuver. I rather think they are working to collect and maintain rock solid cases against every major player including Obama and above. Sometimes false information is useful to catch leakers. We’ve seen potential examples of this in the past and recently. But sometimes false information is useful to get people to act in ways which, if recorded, would be evidence to be used against them in court.

Whether you think this isn’t happening fast enough or not, I think we can all agree when justice is administered, we don’t want to see anyone get away.

      • Dutchman says:

O.k., well to the degree he ‘promised’ to declassify, he didn’t say WHEN.
You are taking his ‘promise’ as a contract with the voter (you) and saying he is ‘in breach’ of his contract.
Any contract, in order to BE a contract, MUST include “mutual consideration”.
This means EACH party must GET something, and give something to the other.

If I promise to give you $1000, next Friday, and next Friday comes, and I don’t, you can not sue me, for breach of contract, cause there WAS no contract, even if I wrote down “I hereby promise to give Kent $1000.”

So, as you feel thisvis a contract PDJT made with the voters (you), even though this contract didn’t specify WHEN he would declassify, WHAT,is the mutual consideration, on the voters part (YOU) that is necesary to MAKE it a contract?

Why, I submit its to VOTE for him, cause obviously many promises he (or any candidate or officeholder make) he has to BE in office, to make good on the promise.
So, what the Voter (YOU) give, your “consideration” is your vote.
“Ah, (you say) but I ALREADY voted for him, in 2016!”

Yes, but at the time you voted, he had made NO such promise, we knew nothing of the big ugly, or a need to declassify, in Nov. 2016.

He made promises on the campaign trail, to build a wall, to walk away from TPP, IRAN deal and NAFTA.
And he has a pretty consistent record of working HARD and keeping or trying his darndest, within the confines of the Constitution and the, system, to KEEP those 2016 promises.

But, AFTER that election, and your vote, you feel he entered into a contract, with no specified time, to declassify everything.
So, fine accepting that YOUR consideration is your vote in 2020.
And so with holding your vote in 2020 is YOU being in breach of contract, NOT him!

Hence, you got no case. As for importance, needs to be put in perspective. Do I want to see the perps brought to Justice? Sure.
But, if the choice were (and I’m not saying it IS) Perps get Justice, but worldwide trade reset is derailed, and China and the Globalists are able to regroup and successfully dominate and subjugate the, world, establishing an elite who feed off the masses….

OR, the ‘perps’ get away with it, and China is crushed, the globalists plans are destroyed, and free market capitalism breaks out everywhere, war becomes a thing of the past, because competition between people and sovereign nations is ECONOMIC competition,…..

Well, I would say, for me, if THAT were the only choice, its no choice. Particularly since I am convinced ultimately it is China and the Globalists that were BEHIND the coup.

As for stealing ‘trying to steal the Presidency’, they SUCCESFULLY stole the Presidency in 1964, and ‘gave’ us Vietnam, and 50,000 dead.

They have been manipulating the process since. See the WHOLE BOARD, the “Big Picture”.

But that is just one point of disagreement. I am with him on everything else.

I simply want Trump supporters to help Trump by creating a groundswell of pressure to FINALLY declassify everything. That is the only way out of this mess. It would take this out of the world of Washington lawyers and uniparty insiders who up to now have had full control of the coup and the process that is now protecting the coup plotters. Full declassification would arm the citizens with the crystal clear facts that prove a coup took place and criminal government employees tried to steal the government from the people. That is what must be the focus of all of us. So we can go to war against those who are still trying to make the coup happen. It must start with the facts. Which is declassification.

Create a fabulous economy, ensure our standing against China, bring back jobs, resuscitate whole industries, give vets a choice in medical care, give people the right to try experimental treatments, get that border wall going, etc. In short, if you can’t get them to pay attention to spygate, give them something they are interested in and will pay attention to.

I see the President as doing the job he set out to do. He’s not letting himself be distracted by spygate. He may have just this one shot on China. He needs to take care of that first. Spygate will need to come after and may not come until his second term.

Or did one or the other sign it, …
Either way, her lawyers claim is,absurd on its face. She is National Security Advisor. If she truly believed that members of the incoming admin were Russian spies, she would be all over knowing what the investigators were doing.

These people got really sloppy, from having gotten away with so much, for so long,…they were negligent in establishing “plausible deniability”.

Its simply not credible. And the lawyers letter says “especially Gen Flynn”, and yet Rices memo (unless its in the redacted portion) doesn’t MENTION Flynn, at all.

Nor does it justify anything. This is shaping up to be a third rate coup attempt, by a bunch of half wits, who had gotten away with so much, for so long, that they thought they could get away with anything.

I have a theory about that, Try to make it brief, but long to explain.
Before there were ‘stealth Trump supporters”, who lied to pollsters about there support for DJT, there were stealth ‘anti-Obama respondents’ who lied about their true opinion of Obama (because they didn’t want to be pecieved as rascist). Many even voted for him.

But, as they saw his liberal policies enacted, saw the ‘new normal’ of ecinomy doldrums, became dissatisfied, but lied to pollsters.
Such polls (aproval rating of POTUS) start off with “COUNTRY heading in right track/wrong direction” question, and throughout his Presidencies, the #’s were at unprecedented “wrong direction”.

And yet Obamas #’s hovered in low to mid 40’s. Obvious disconnect, but no one caught it. The respondents, realising it didn’t make sense to say “wrong direction” for country, but then give high marks to Obama (cares about people like me, handling of the economy, etc.) then dumped on Congress, when thevpoll reached that point.

Hence, the MISinterpretation was that most people LIKED what Obama was doing, and disliked Congresses ‘obstruction’ of his agenda.
Even after the shellacking the Dems took in the election, they didn’t ‘get’ their error, and so Obama doubled down, with his pen and phone.

Then, they conpounded their error, with a wrong assumption; there is a longstanding political belief, based on historical data.
If a POTUS, running for reelection, has ‘approval rating # above 40, in the year run up to the election, he is ‘viable’. Mid to high 40’s, he is a ‘shoe-in’.
There wrong assumption was that Obamas approval rating in run up to 2016 (mid to high 40’s) would TRANSFER to Hillary. That if she ran a safe campaign, as “4 more years”, that she was a “shoe in”.

Even assuming the poll #’s were right (i.e. not recognising the stealth anti-Obama respondents ‘lieing’) there is no historical record to support the idea that approval of a POTUS will transfer to another. Perhaps Papa Bush, but Reagan left office with unprecedentedly high approval #’s in the,60’s.

As clarification (many don’t get this, and the media is disenclined to point it out) the “approval rating # is a result of a mathematical formulae for combining the answers of a bunch of respondents, to a bunch of different questions about the POTUS (cares about people like me, handling of economy, etc.) And their responces “excellent, very good, good, fair, poor”.
Point is, if a POTUS has an “approval rating” # of 40%, that DOES NOT mean 40% approve of the POTUS, and,60% do not. Otherwise over 40 would not make him viable, and mid to high 40’s wouldn’t make him a shoe-in!

Note, PDJT currently is running at 50%, which indicates a “BLOW OUT”, and thats before you add 5-10 points, for stealth Trump supporters, or uneven sampling.

THIS is,why Hillary ran the campaign she ran, why Obama way overshot the mark, especially from 2012 onward, and why Dems are now in such a panic.
PDJT is currently on coarse to beat R Reagans reelection #’s, where I believe he got like,…60% of the popular vote?
“Promises Made,Promises Kept” is a reprise of R Reagans “morning in America” campaign.
Debates? HAH. ALL PDJT has to say is “Are you and your family better off NOW, than you were four years ago?”
Is the,COUNTRY better off now than it was, 4 years ago?”
And then walk off the, stage, stick a fork in whoever his opponent is, they are DONE.

Springing a surprise where there is no defense can destroy an opponent or drive them in a direction they had not anticipated or prepared for. Leaving open additional vulnerabilities. Strategies and tactics are paramount in order to win. There is too much at stake.

The continued slow pace release of information will cause the MSM to be redirected weekly up through the election… With the millions of pages of documents that have been held back there is ample information to redirect his opponents for years…

Every tweet or suggestion he makes spins the MSM in another direction… He has been making side comments to the MSM reporters and then saying – “Just Kidding” – leaving them in immense frustration… His comments at Rio Rancho about a pilot stopping for gas and staying in a hotel has spun up those who are concerned about “emoluments”… Trump was in rare form tonight. The only logical reason I can find for the delays is the truth implicates individuals on both sides of the left/right illusion. I remember when Wall St said the financial world would collapse unless they were bailed out. I see something similar here. If the truth of the corruption throughout the entire political elite were known, the world would end. All faith in government would collapse and there would be anarchy on the streets. Remember it was for our own good that Wall St was bailed out, and likewise I think we’ll be sold the same spin here. We’d like to get to the bottom of it, but to do so would end civilization as we know it, therefor in the best interests of everybody we’ll move on …like so many times before. As Hillary Clinton said: What Difference At This Point Does It Make …and we all moved on from Benghazi …and Las Vegas, and those child training camps, teaching Muslim kids to shoot up schools …and ..and ..and all of this to see the light of day?

If he was unhappy that there hasn’t been a mass declassification and publication, he would be on Twitter poking Barr about why he hadn’t done it.

None of us knows the reasons. Maybe Republications are implicated and Trump, always the pragmatist, is more interested in saving their seats in Congress than outing them right now. Our choices as outsiders to the process are to throw up our hands and threaten not to vote for Trump or to trust him. He hasn’t let me down so far so I choose the latter.

That choice doesn’t require me to play the tick tock game. That game is only played because Hannity doesn’t shut up long enough to prepare to cover different stories so all he has to say is “tick toc”, “breaking tonight”, “you’re not going to want to miss it” to fill the time until the next morsel comes out. If anything, keeping it out of the public view is smart. It’s also good news – a sign of how serious things are behind the scenes.

We know it’s a crime to lie to a Congressional committee….wonder if that extends to written answers to interrogatories?

Ruemmler lost me at Rice being too busy until the last morning to document that meeting.

Wonder why they didn’t try to claim that letter for Obama’s library since she claims in was written before Trump was sworn in?

Rice waited until after the inauguration to send the memo (perhaps making 100% sure Trump was actually inaugurated before doing it). I wonder if she later discovered she was no longer employed as of 12:00 and she needs some of the protections of her position for that letter to be useful.

    But……….Much more interesting,

it says she left the White House “shortly before noon”. She left the White House before noon but her email is at 12:15? Now that makes you wonder! Was she posting from the Clinton’s bathroom?

interesting thought. It is 100% preposterous that the time stamp of the email would be off. Only this team would think that they could attempt to lie this boldly and make it work. She needs this email to have been sent while she was still in the WH and/or while she was still employed. Neither or those things are true. Wherever she posted this from, I suspect it is such a big problem for her that she has no other options but to lie.

I believe a reason for holding back on the disclosures of corruption in both parties is President Trump’s priority of leveraging bipartisan passage of USMCA. They know he holds evidence most of them are dirty and he can use that knowledge to get them to pass what is truly good for the American people. If he blows up everything out of vengeance, the real benefit for the nation could be lost in the wreckage. The President in fundamentally a businessman, not a vengeful politician. This is another reason why I think Donald Trump is one of the greatest strategists in world history. So many leaders keep personal score and lose sight of the greater good. He highlights their pettiness and dirty tactics but can laugh and say, “but that’s okay because we keep winning.”

Very salient point, k4. With all the pontificating and second-guessing going on here, it would be wise to bear that in mind. POTUS has many levels of strategy playing out simultaneously. All moves must be weighed against multiple consequences.

Just musing out loud. As I read Rice’s letter tonight, I see it in a slightly different light. Instead of CYA or justification, it sounds more like an instruction.

” our law enforcement team needs to proceed as it normally would, by the book.”

It’s easy to think tthat the memo is about the Jan 5th meeting, but the inauguration just happened and that is the 100% frame of mind she’s in. Supposedly, she’s already left the White House, or at least someone has already signed her out. We know that Obama set up shop nearby. Again, just randomly thinking out loud, but could this be marching orders for the recipients?

Perfectly obvious that this Rice Bowl holds seriously incriminating nodules (sic). Whatever the peculiarly corrupt, treacherously malfeasant nature of this mess, politics is all… we only hope that –mealworms’ bleats-and-squeaks to contrary– Barr’s DOJ is suppressing public release as a timing tool pending post-Convention revelations designed to blast (Weezy Warren’s?) cowbird campaign around Labor Day next year.

I saw a request ( could be bogus)shown online, many months ago, where Susan Rice requested GCHQ (Hannigan resigned) do surveillance or something to that effect! It would fit in because they needed foreign intelligence to take over when they were thwarted by Rogers stopping the unmasking, etc…Anyone else remember this story? Also, the rumors about Marina Butina being close to Rice’s office, and rumors there was communication between the two? All of this smells!!!…..

This Russian Hoax is entirely the Obama administration’s fault but re-establishing trust and respect thru accountability to the DOJ/FBI, the IC, State, etc. is 100% the Trump’s administration, so far the Uniparty is winning, that’s why everything is ‘still’ redacted and classified! Currently the DOJ is white washing [redacting] the latest IG FISA Abuse Report for Sen. Graham’s approval. If we successfully get to a PDJT second term, maybe he’ll drop a few political grenades around himself.

Why didn’t President Trump declassify all of that in 2017? THAT is the question to ask..

Cause President Trump is doing it by the book!!!

Clearly releases and declass happens strategically. Rice will be one of the last ones targeted.
Just declassing and giving it all to us means nothing. Then what? No one cares. This has to be done by the book..for real

If this memo were the only thing we knew about – if we didn’t know what the FISA Court itself said, if we didn’t have the first IG report let alone the second – then this obsequious lawyerly drivel might conceivably have passed muster. But we already know that there was no “book” here. We know that there was no bona fide reason for any of them to actually suspect that “the Russians™” had anything whatsoever to do with a political opponent that they both hated and feared. Thus, we read this lawyerly letter for what it is: a failed attempt at “spin doctoring.”

Bottom Line: “No matter what you do or don’t think about Donald Trump,” the very highest reaches of our Government are no place to find organized crime engaged in “stunningly self-absorbed sedition.” The American People will not condone nor accept this. The Democratic Party is also too self-absorbed to realize that it is right now destroying itself.

Just in part…probably some Russian and Chinese money flowing there also. (I’m reading Obstruction of Justice by Luke Rosiak…does anyone know anything about Robert Rexler, FLA, Congressman? He is original contact for Imran and Pakistani Cabal that infiltrated Congress}.

      • Littleflower, I don’t look for “a lurking ‘organized crime ring’ in the conventional sense, nor would I speculate that it is related to clandestine funding and/or ethnic groups. Rather, I see the organized crime being committed directly by the individuals whom we routinely name here. What these people were unlawfully doing with their appointed powers causes them to be: “organized crime.” I see no reason to look behind the little curtain to find anyone else holding their strings.

        • Maybe you are right; but it all seems so “organized”. But, sometimes it is what it appears to be on the surface. Thanks for the insight.

        • Ok, I just had time to read another chapter (lunch break), It appears that it may have at least started as a kickback scheme. You put someone on your payroll, like a no show type of thing, and you pay them a big salary, and in turn they kick back cash to you. The Congress criminals who were all at least originally involved, all Dems, were all in bad financial debt.

He names Wexler, Andre Carson, Gregory Meeks, Yvette Clarke, Kendrick Meek and he infamous Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Later it included Joaquin Castro, Emmanuel Cleaver.

The FBI had circumstantial evidence that the Awans might be involved with a kickback scheme, but Dems had no interest. I guess these schemes are not new, but everyone gets a pass.

Book!? Take your choice, ladies and gentlemen – the Book of Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals or the Q’uran’s book practice of taqiyya. Either one works for putative POtuS Obama and his unconstitutional regime.

The U.S. Constitution was shredded on August 28, 2008, when Rep. Pelosi forwarded the DNC’s presidential/vice-presidential nominations of Obama/Biden to 49 U.S. States sans Constitutional eligibility wording and that same nomination to Hawaii WITH Constitutional eligibility wording.
