Lawfare Group Begins Delegitimizing Supreme Court…

By now everyone is familiar with the Lawfare network; an alliance of ideological political interests inside and outside government who use the law to achieve their objectives.  [Specific Example Here]

During the Obama administration the Lawfare group: (1) weaponized the IRS for political targeting; (2) weaponized the DOJ and FBI for political targeting; (3) weaponized the intelligence community for political activism; (4) created new legal theories around ‘disparate impact’ to weaponize the National Labor Relations Board; and generally used embedded officials to advance far-left political interests across the spectrum of govt.

After they lost the 2016 election the Lawfare group immediately: (1) worked to delegitimize the presidency of Donald Trump; (2) delegitimize National Security Adviser General Flynn; (3) target, disempower and isolate AG Jeff Session; (4) delegitimize AG Bill Barr and the institution of the FBI outside their control; (5) delegitimize DHS, Border Patrol and Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE); and (6) delegitimize any institution or office that would now be removing or overturning their former Lawfare constructs.

What we are seeing today from the Lawfare Alliance appears as a designed effort to continue this overall agenda; now focused on delegitimizing the Supreme Court of the United States.

In the last few months the Supreme Court has been moving toward eliminating the ability of Lawfare allied federal judges from ordering nationwide injunctions.  The latest SCOTUS decision was 7-2 to stop this Lawfare practice.  If activist judges are stopped from blocking executive branch policy, this creates a serious problem for the Lawfare Alliance.

Simultaneously, President Trump is filling vacancies on the federal bench at a strong rate.  President Trump has now appointed 150 federal judges into the judicial bloodstream.  This further impedes the ability of the ideological Lawfare Alliance to achieve their objectives.

With the Supreme Court tenuously holding a 5-4 conservative outlook, and the strong possibility the loss of Justice Ginsburg might create a 6-3 court, the Lawfare group is now lashing out and planning for ways to retain their position.

The next Supreme Court calendar is likely to be devastating to the ideological left.  The court is scheduled to hear arguments on everything from gun rights cases to the Census citizenship question and a likely defeat over Obama’s unconstitutional DACA executive action.   Losing on the DACA case would be a catastrophic defeat for the political left, who have weaponized open-immigration for maximum political value.

It’s the DACA ruling in combination with New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v. City of New York [(arguments Monday, Dec. 2) whether the city’s ban on taking a handgun outside city limits violates the Second Amendment] that could lead to major trouble for the Lawfare Alliance.

Ideologically it is possible the Lawfare Alliance will attempt to ignore the Supreme Court DACA ruling by taking a similar approach to their Sanctuary City policies.  That is to say the ultra-far-left political activists will demand ‘blue states’ do not comply with the Supreme Court decision and set up some internal sanctuary network that defies the SCOTUS ruling.   You can imagine this approach would be a problem, as defiant states openly rebuke the Supreme Court.

….So following along with what we know about how Lawfare operates, the current attacks to delegitimize Justice Brett Kavanaugh really give the appearance of entreaties toward delegitimizing the rulings of the court.   Rulings such as the pending DACA decision.

That appears to be the strategic purpose for the Lawfare Group to weaponize their ideological allies in the left-wing media, and to start hyping the SCOTUS antagonism now.

Creating a crisis to achieve their results, is simply how the Lawfare group work…

It is WAY PAST TIME for conservative lawyers to fight back against the lawfare
      troop of communist agitators.
THEY KEEP DOING WHAT THEY DO BECAUSE NOBODY IS CHALLENGING THEM.
Sidney Powell, with her defense of Mike Flynn, and Devin Nunes, with his lawsuit against Fusion GPS have shown the balls to fight back against the communists.
      Where are the others?
America needs them to step up now!
Wittes is no genius, he wages his war without opposition.
America needs her heroes to step up and take the lawfare group
on in a court of law. We will win because they practice only subversion.

Lawfare bypassing the ballot box is only Plan A. The ballot box is Plan B. The immigrants we are getting now, and I specifically mean the legal ones, OVERWHELMINGLY vote for socialism and communism and the destruction of the historic American nation. No, it is not ALL of them, but it IS most of them. They are not coming to join us, but to replace us.

Lawfare is simply a measure of the impatience of the current set of leftist elites who want to see the multi-generational Gramscian long march come to success in THEIR lifetimes, rather than hand the torch forward as the previous generations have had to do. If the lawfare gambit is stopped, then they will simply go back to the ballot box. We WILL lose in the long term if immigration is not ENDED. We are full up and don’t want our country destroyed. They need to fix they own.

Blaming immigration is only part of the problem. The other is the public indoctrination centers we call schools. They are teaching a worldview that is contrary to America, but conservatives keep sending their children there. You can stop immigration, but when the schools teach socialism/communism America’s own posterity will be her undoing.

Cut off student loans. Problem solved.

Student loans could be made available based on future decently projected earnings. Civil engineering = 80% of four year costs at a state college, plus some living expense portion. And, maybe only in line with affordable places, not SF, NYC. Elizabethan Literature = 20%, just to be nice.

Would a bank loan a young adult with no track record of anything, except graduating “high school” and being able to write their name, $100,000 for a small business loan to “do whatever you are interested in,” and give the easy repayment terms?

              No.

Well, why do that for college?

A leading curse to place on someone is to saddle them with debt knowing they have weak prospects to pay it back, and that it will be an albatross.

Why are we so upset about the “predatorial payday lenders” and we smile at the banks facilitating colleges to take money while selling product of absolutely unknown value?

With all of that money chasing “a college degree,” there is demand for courses. Any courses! And so, we have the demand for colleges to manufacture courses. Of course a bunch of lazy Communists are willing to show up and teach their blather! Unchecked!

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) was established to be their permanent slush fund. Thank you Elizabeth Warren. It had funding from the Federal Reserve, not congress, so it could not be cut off by conservatives. They also set it up so independently that no one could stop their decisions. I can’t remember how that was done. That’s why there was such a battle when Richard Cordray stepped down and PDJT picked Mick Mulvaney to head it. The CFPB fought in court for the assistant director to take over. Mick said it was scary how much power he had and laid some of it out in interviews.

Have mentioned this before, but that was the one truly good things AG Jeff Sessions did, to end the re-routing of restitution monies from victims to Democrat party pet projects.

      Unfortunately for our family, it was too late. Two cases, both in the SDNY system, that we provided evidence enough to cause two separate parties to plead guilty of what one judge at the time stated was one of the worst cases of fraud he’d ever presided over (this was right before Madoff even became a rumor of things to come);

when we were put on the mail list to follow the sentencings and any future release or parole hearings I asked what type of forms we needed to fill out in order to begin the process for the restitution the court ordered. Finally, one FBI agent must have felt sorry for us, and was honest to say ‘sorry, that money will be retained by the system in order to fund future investigations’. It was like being victimized all over again, so when AG Sessions ended that practice that was for the first time in years a sense of fresh air. Then even he got triangulated out of any further actions.

During the Civil War, the south issued an order that if a slave was captured who was fighting for the North, rather than make him a prisoner like the white soldiers, the slave was to be executed. Faced with such, Lincoln issued an executive order that for every captured slave who was executed, one confederate prisoner of war would be executed. The South’s killing of captured slave soldiers ended almost immediately. The only thing that will stop the left from their lawfare abuses will be to turn the same tactics back onto them as Representative Devin Nunes has done with his civil RICO suit against Fusion GPS. It’s time to go to war using the legal system, lawfully, to the greatest extent possible; otherwise, the left will never cease and desist from their lawfare terror tactics.

And the idea of ‘targeting individuals’is particularly short sighted. Conmunists operate (rule) by committee. Take away Schumer, Durbin steps up to take his place. Take away Pelosi, Steny Hoyer steps into the breach.

That you would focus on individuals, shows you are responding from emotion. Strong emotions shut down logical, critical thinking, and can be fatal in warfare.

One must put aside our emotions, in order to think LOGICALLY, and apply critical thinking skills.

Emulate VSGPDJT; If he responded emotionally, he would have fired Sessions, Rosie, Mueller and Co., and by now have been impeached.

Granted, If I were he, Rosie would have been pitched out of AF1, over international waters, without a parachute, at 5,000’.

But, he didn’t fire em, or throw Rosie out. Because he keeps his eye on his GOAL, and dies NOT allow his emotions to cloud his judgement.

This IS a War, we ARE in it, but is not a war being fought with bullets, yet and maybe never. Keep cool, and be patient.
Cause thats what PDJT does, and as long as he is our leader, I will follow his example.

All nice respectful ways of saying, as my Dear old Dad used to say,…

No problem. Its a difficult trick to learn. Heard PDJT learned it from his Dad, at an early age.
            Short version; men broke into Fred Trumps office, where he had a safe with a lot of cash. Waited for him to come in in a.m., and showed guns;
“OPEN the safe, or we’ll kill you!”
Fred was obviously scared, and his emotions were telling him “OPEN the darn safe!”
But, he said “Sorry, I can’t do that. YOU want the $. I don’t CARE about the,$, I want to LIVE. But, since YOU want the,$, and I am the onlybone with the combination, if you kill me for not opening the safe, you won’t get what you want, the,$.
On the other hand, once I open the safe, and you have the,$, you no longer have,a reason to NOT kill me.
Therefore, I figure mybodds of getting what I want, (staying alive) are better if I DON’T open the safe.

The robbers discussed it for a few minutes, and left. And reputadly Fred Trump told his sons about this story early on, to impress on them allowing your emotiins to dictate your actions, will get you killed. Focus on YOUR goal, and how logically to achieve it. NOT on what your emotions ‘want’.

Why is abortion so important to them. I know the moral and emotional arguments, but globalists/NWO/CoC support it heavily. What is their return on investment other than an emotional issue to manipulate a large block of voters for power? Is there really a financial benefit to them for allowing it? Because it is a great qualification of demarcation (I won’t dare be specific on my speculation there as it would be sure to get me Kavanaugh’ed)

      • oldersoul says:

Why? Because abortion helps to destroy the nuclear family unit. And if you want to destabilize a culture and ultimately society, you erode its foundations.

The nuclear family is at the foundation of traditional American society. Abortion erodes that foundation by facilitating the collateral erosion of marriage, traditional male/female roles and two-parent child-rearing, all elements of the nuclear family.

When there are no children, there is no responsibility for the adults, and ultimately, no family unit in the traditional sense.

The left can only prosper and gain power when people are suffering and society is in crisis. That is their stock-in-trade.

To see the end result, you only need to look into the poorest inner city neighborhoods. Many abortions, few intact families, and completely de-stabilized communities. After a few generations, it institutionalizes itself.

I see that. I believe we are designed to thrive at every level, not just socially, but spiritually, emotionally, educationally, even neurochemically in family units. Everything that produces good character is incubated in a family like atmosphere (not talking about the warm fuzzy, but the structure): nuclear family, extended family, church, 12 steps, excellence in sports, military, professional guilds — all incubated in a family.

The fact that abortions are allowed, much less paid for by the government on demand — with parental notification or notification of the father not just made optional, but banned unless the mom shares the news.

        CountryDoc,
Firstly, as you allude to, it is one of a number of key “wedge issues” that the Uniparty uses to divide people.

A “wedge” issue is an issue, firstly that evokes,a STRONG emotional responce, which is essential to shut down critical thinking.

And, one in which roughly 1/2 the population strongly (emotionally) feel one way, the other half the other.
Gun control, Abortion, Universal healthcare, Privatising Social Security, are other examples.

So, it has value that way. As an example, Sicial Security could have been ‘fixed’ a long time ago. The,Uniparty WANTS the issue, and so doesn’t WANT to fix it; the issue is too valuable.

Beyond that, it is a slippery moral slope, 1 trimester, 2 trimester, 3 trimester, MORE! Gradually they slide farther along, and their are people who are now o.k. with post partum abortion, who would have been horrified at the thought, 10 or 20 years ago.

Thing is, if its really all about a “Womans right to choose”, why stop just because the baby is out of the womb?

And thats the slippery slope they got millions to ride on, right straight to hell.
And yeah, it IS a moneymaker. Donate to my campaign, cause those bad old Republicans want to take, away a womans choice.

Donate to MY campaign, cause those nasty old Dems wanna kill babies!

Exactly. Its the same pattern of behavior con artists have been using, since long before PET scans confirmed that if a STRONG emotional responce us evoked, the critical thinking part if the brain shuts down.
ANY emotion will work; anger, fear, sympathy, greed, guilt, its the strength OF the emotion thats important.
Con artists, advertisers and Politicians use it. Its manipulation 101.
Manipulation is getting simeone to do something they wouldn’t do, if you just asked them.
Hey, Doc, pass me a soda? Sure.
Hey, Doc. Give me $1000? I don’t THINK so.
So, to getvyouvto give me $1000, I have to manipulate you. Tell you some story, or set up some elaborate little ‘play’, like the “lost wallet”. Evoke a strong emotion, so your critical thinking won’t say “Hey, wait a minute! THIS doesn’t make SENSE!
In the case of the Uniparty, by dividing us using wedge issues, and keeping “Us” focused on beating “Them”, and vice versa, we don’t see that its all a play.
Like when Lindsey gave that “great” rant, at end of Kavanaugh. And nobody noticed within weeks of saying the Dems should never have power, he was working WITH them, to take away our guns!

But, for many that speech, saying whatcwe SO wanted someone to say, evoked such strong feelings of gratitude and sympatico, that they don’t notice him trying to sneak a National red letter law in.

There has never been an impeached Justice. Dems get Kavanaugh impeached on spurious grounds, will then argue he must recuse until Senate ‘trial’. That would make SCOTUS 4-4 rather than 5-4, and a lot of crucial appeals coming up this term will deadlock, meaning appeals court ruling stands, but no national binding precedent. Think DACA. That is Lawfare fighting a rear guard action against major permanent loses.

I have long thought that the REAL reason for all the hoo-haw during the Kavanaugh confirmation “hearings” was to dirty him up really, really badly in order to “inactivate” him on all things abortion/women’s issues, that they would claim mandatory recusal necessary because of any statements he made during that inquisition, that would “taint” his opinions in those types of cases.

I have no doubt whatsoever that their plan was to do that very thing, even if they couldn’t force him or Trump to withdraw his nomination.

We all should expect the most extreme response from the Left from here on through the election and beyond. Liberalism and Leftism are not in a very good place in America today, they are under the most extreme pressure that they could ever have imagined, especially after the Obama term. There is NOTHING they will not do to turn this country upside down in order to reclaim their desired trajectory of a pathway to globalism and liberal Nirvana. We will have to fight against unbelievable forces to keep our country on a Conservative track.

Twitter Land/Facebook Land/Instagram Land already call AG Barr “the President’s attorney” and have 100K’s of (fake?) “likes”. The next call will be “the President’s SCOTUS” to deligitimize the highest court.

Unfortunately, social media rules these days, especially with younger voters. They are swayed by these numbers, they think they are true.

Once the Left has designated and denigrated SCOTUS as Pres. Trump’s court, there will be chaos. Exactly as they planned.

I have only a shaky understanding of this “Lawfare Group”, but it smells to me like a group of people who have sworn allegiance to the Constitution of the United States, but who ACT in allegiance to some other entity or their own conspiracy. How is that not unethical, if not illegal?

Never before is this country, the greatest on this earth, has there been such vile things said and done. As for freedom of the press, you folks are the lying snakes. You are not reporting the news JUST AS IT IS, you are publishing hearsay which is political based on what you believe. If it true, then have a source. If you not sure, then shut up. The NYT people publishing this story about the supreme justice and leaving out that the supposed victim doesn’t even recall this happening is pure out ole BULL. These folks need to be accountable for what they publish. Some folks take it for granted that it is true and it’s just a lie. The press supposed to be neutral. In these days, they are not. But guess what. They do it because they are wanting to harm someone, and nobody holds then accountable.

Everybody knows that a main witness to this “travesty” 30+ years ago was a Bill Clinton attorney during the Lewinsky Affair, right? A little research goes a long ways.

This whole debacle should blow up in their faces, I hope.

It is pretty obvious America is headed for a showdown with these anarchists posing as lawyers. The country will end up at the intersection of “comply or die.” What else could happen? What part of the country can be permitted to defy the laws they don’t like? There can be no negotiating with scofflaws.

I’m sorry, Mr. President, we’re not “winning big,” not on the culture. We can, but currently we are not. In order to do so we need to be far more proactive, far more aggressive.

“Lawfare Group Begins Delegitimizing Supreme Court…”
    *****
This round of “delegitimize” will be a replay of the Prog. threats to SCOTUS is “Obamacare” was declared unconstitutional. IMHO, Justice Roberts’ alleged switch in opinion/vote was, I think, his self adsorbed rationalization that he was saving the reputation of the SCOTUS and possible move to pack the court. If this is true, he was and is completely delusional to think that the SJW/Prog/Thugs can be appeased.

I truly believe that Roberts thought he was repeating the action of another Justice Roberts and his vote in 1937 to turn the tide of SCOTUS opinion to favor the New Deal. “The Switch in Time that Saved Nine”. We really need another conservative justice to negate any vote/opinion by Roberts.

    Please consider the context:

“The first thing we do, let’s kill all the lawyers.”
Henry VI, Part 2, Act IV, Scene 2 by William Shakespeare

The line is spoken in a conversation with a minor character called “Dick the Butcher” who is supporting the traitor Jack Cade, the leader of a proto-Communist revolution. That lawyers were the enemies of criminals seems to be the point, although some interpretations say it could be a criticism of lawyers as paper-pushers in an increasingly legalistic society.

Can normal middle class American file lawsuits against the government? I could think of 100 or more wrong doings that I would like to file lawsuits on. Don’t have the money or knowledge but what if one million people started filling? We need to do something other than just post comments.
