My wife had a medical device malpractice lawsuit in federal court for six years. She was mutilated! There was no urgency by the federal judge to try the case even though there were 20,000 AMERICAN women victims in the same lawsuit. Yet, one illegal immigrant get picked up by ICE and a federal judge rules within hours of the arrest in the middle of a Sunday night to halt the deportation and release the illegal alien. That tells you who is really important in this country and it’s not us!!!

The campaign was going to fly banners over east coast beaches on Labor Day, but I think that was scrapped due to Hurricane Dorian. I love that they will fly this today as well as run ads in the Houston & San Antonio papers. I believe they are going to use every creative means possible to get the message out. Planes, trains, subways, blimps, leaflets dropped from the sky….the possibilities are vast! Who knows, maybe rides on Air Force One and Marine one! I know some people are 😡 about the potential upcoming vaping regulations by the FDA. I am a smoker and the first time I tried to vape, I coughed like it was my first cigarette. I did use the vape products some but honestly prefer cigarettes. I quit cold turkey before for 5 years and need to do so again instead of switching to vape products

I think the jury is out on how safe these vape products are compared to cigarettes. The illnesses are alarming but the majority(not all) seem to be vape products containing THC and other drugs. It is alarming though that these illnesses occur rather quickly compared to smoking which usually results in diseases many years later. The amount of young kids vaping though is concerning, and these companies certainly enabled many kids to get addicted to nicotine much like the tobacco companies did in the past.

Why can vape companies advertise all over the place when tobacco companies are restricted?

My guess is vaping is probably safer than smoking but if you want to quit, nicotine gum or a nicotine patch is a safer way to taper off nicotine and quit the habit.

My advice would be to currently not ban the flavors(although apparently companies could try to get FDA approval to sell certain flavors) but restrict the advertising these companies can do similar to tobacco.

Hopefully I will be able to quit cold turkey again soon. 😃. Btw, Hope everyone is doing well and my apologies for the long post. So glad the Republicans held on to the NC House seat 🙂

There’s been a few Treepsters like yourself lamenting the changes in vaping laws. Couldn’t you buy a regular tobacco flavor and add additional flavoring? Would tobacco smoked through a water pipe be something to consider? They do make very small water pipes or so they did when smoked weed in the previous century. (I always smoked outside the territorial limits of the United States and under the care of a medical doctor.) There have to be books dealing with your dilemma and certainly web sites? I know for certain that tobacco grows outdoors as far north as Connecticut and of course you could grow it indoors. The money you’d save from “rolling your own” would probably pay for most of your overhead. I never smoked tobacco other than teenage experimenting. I’ll bet a year from now you’ll have solved your problem. Good luck!

Cigarettes in Australia are over $30. Malboro 25s is $34.95 a packet. Champion tobacco is $71.95 for a 50g pouch. As for vaping …

Is e-liquid containing nicotine legal for personnel use in Australia?

Yes, it is legal to posses and use nicotine e-liquid for personnel use, but you are required to have a prescription from a registered Australian medical practitioner.

Nicotine is classified as a Schedule 7 ’dangerous poison’, except when used in tobacco for smoking and medicinal nicotine replacement products.

If prescribed by a registered doctor, nicotine e-liquid is reclassified as a Schedule 4 product (prescription only) and is legal for ‘therapeutic use’ (eg to quit or reduce smoking or to prevent relapse).

This totally makes my brain hurt: https://www.zerohedge.com/economics/huge-blow-us-farmers-china-heads-argentina-soy-meal-landmark-deal

International commodities (like soybeans, wheat, pork bellies, orange juice, cold-rolled steel, oil, and such) generally cannot be targeted with tariffs. If country A tries to tariff country B, then B will buy from C and C will buy from A. There is only so much of this stuff being made worldwide, and the product flows are easily adjusted.

The major exceptions to this are in cases of monopoly (one major seller), monopsony (one major buyer), or various cartel arrangements that echo the same. In soybeans, for example, the three major producers are the US (35%), Brazil (29%), and Argentina (18%). That’s 82% of your world soybeans right there, so that looks like a monopoly. OTOH, the major consumers of soybeans are China (32%), the US (22%), Brazil (14%), and India (10%) — that gets you 78% of soybean consumption, so that’s your players.

Given those figures, it would make an obvious case for China (on the consumer list, but not on the producer list) to be buying soybeans from Argentina (on the producer list, but not on the consumer list). If India were to tariff US soybean imports, they’d probably be buying from Argentina, too.

This isn’t a blow to US farmers, however, because Argentina no longer can sell soy to everyone else in the world because it’s all being shipped to China. So, the US can simply sell to Argentina’s former customers……who might, after doing business with US vendors and Argentine vendors, might prefer the stability and quality of a US relationship.

Our politicians in the past allowed China to become a powerful threat. What is really disturbing is that many manufacturing towns lost their jobs go to China. What replaced those jobs was depression alcohol, opiates, and crime.

Plus China now ships the deadly fentanyl to our country. Jobs were sent to China, and China sent fentanyl, often to the very areas that lost the jobs. It’s all very disgusting and evil. The Chinese government will never crack down on the fentanyl production. It is a weapon for them against us really.

The official seal of Hong Kong has opium ships on it.

I can well understand the offense they have taken from those episodes…..but it is unreasonable for them to expect that we’d take similar behavior as less of an offense. If they don’t knock it off, they’re going to get hammered.

Will they let it rot in the fields? Sure lose 5 percent of yield by forcing farmers to slop hogs with it no problem world price goes up and ADM does well. Added benefit hogs get fat and the price of hogs goes down. Big Agra wins again.

ADM has their finger in every bodies pie.

        From the ADM website

        “ADM in South America
One of the world’s largest agribusiness companies, Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM), operates in grain trading and processing. It produces vegetable oils, ingredients and inputs for the food and animal nutrition industry, as well as biodiesel. It also operates a large logistics structure to transport these products to markets worldwide.

The company has operated for 20 years in South America and features activities in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay; it shows its confidence in these markets by making consistent investments in the expansion of its local operations, which employ almost 5,000 people.

Acting across the entire agribusiness chain, ADM owns approximately 52 silos in South America, as well as six port terminals; three are located in Argentina, two in Brazil, and one in Paraguay.

ADM has been present in Brazil since 1997, its largest South American operation, totaling around 3,300 employees. The company runs the following units:”

Argentina produces 54 million metric tons of soybeans each year. They export 8.5 mmt of raw beans. Leaving 43.5 mmt of raw soybeans to crush into meal which produces 34.8 mmt of soy meal. (Soybeans are about 80% meal and 20% oil)

Argentina currently exports 30.5 mmt of meal each year. They also use about 4 mmt of soy meal domestically. Any exports to China come from other customers just as Ethulu states.

Argentina has very limited soy to sell until their 2020 crop harvest which happens in May and June next year. Could be a long cold hungry winter in China this year

Why is the Bill Barr-led Justice Department so opposed to the release of the Comey Memos?

Could it be the Memos discuss and reveal the widespread Washington conspiracy to remove Donald Trump from office? Conspirators that included members of both Houses of Congress, from both parties?

The tactics of removal would involve the Twenty-Five Amendment, or Impeachment, or simply pressuring Trump to resign. And if the GOP was indeed heavily involved that would explain the reluctance of Barr (under widespread pressure), and even Trump, to make it public. The humiliation to Trump and the Republican Party would outweigh any possible benefit.

If the conspiracy was strongly rooted in the GOP House that, too, would explain many things: the large number of incumbent Republicans (40+) who retired and declined to run again; Paul Ryan’s retirement announcement in the middle of his term, and his poor leadership during the 2018 election campaign (perhaps Paul wanted to punish his band of Summer Soldiers, who didn’t fight Trump hard enough for his taste!). Most of all, a mutinous GOP House would explain Trump’s distaste for campaigning for their re-election, and his preference for defending the Senate.

Let us see those Memos, Mister Attorney General!

Not sure I agree that revealing the truth that members of both parties and both Houses countenanced the attempted coup would hurt PDJT, long term.

Perhaps best revealed AFTER the 2020 election. I DO believe the coupists never would have entrrtained the idea, without unequivocal approval, if not directed by Reps at the highest level of Congress.

And, given Comey’s projection of complete confidence, he seems assured the fix is in, that TPTB will not allow him to be charged. He may well have a Nurenburg defence (I vas juste followink orders!) and the memos are his insurance policy, both his stay out of jail card, and ‘don’t arkanticide me, you biotch!’ Insurance policy.

If you view it in R and D terms, WHO was a danger to the coupists? Democrats in Congress? Hell no. R’s in Congress, investigating and exposing. And, WHO needed an EXCUSE to vote to Impeach? Democrats? Heck no, they were ready to impeach on day one, no excuse needed.

Remember how McCain staffer went to Obama admin, and got IRS to torpedo Tea party? Tea party was planning to primary prominent REPUBLICONS in Congress. If you think in R vs D terms, Obama should have ordered Lerner to EXPEDITE those apps for tax exempt status.

The deep state doesn’t think in terms of R and D, and leadership in CONgress doesn’t, either.

The POTUS is only for 8 years, but the leadership in CONgress is ongoing. “Administrations come and go, but “WE” are always here!” is their view.

So, in my view the “Power” in D.C. is this cabal that controls CONgress; they control the IC thru the SSCI, they control the administrative State thru appoitments, they control the Judiciary, as well.
And, they control all thru blackmail and coercion. Awan laptop, Weiner laptop, were two repositories of the blackmail/ coercion repository.

Its Hoovers FBI in steroids: he set it up so FBI could gather such material. But, he used it PRIMARILY to protect and enhance himself and his ‘baby’; the FBI.
When he,died, they couldn’t wait to get ahold of that power, and expand it.
The MOU with the CIA, and the ‘work together to connect the dots’ after 911, eliminated the ‘natural’ rivalry between FBI and CIA. Access to the NSA database along with FBI’s authority to step into and take over municipal and State investigations enabled them to aquire this awsome power for abuse.

Yes, of coarse Obama, as a figurehead POTUS, was involved,…but is governance by committee, and he is only one.

We clearly see the division of power, as we compare the Obama admin to the Trump admin.
Anyway, perhaps my view is simplistic. Everything I see thats ‘wrong’, I trace back to CONgress, and the R vs D way of looking at things doesn’t ‘work’ to explain how a traditionally center right country, could have swung so far to the left.

Finally, I guess what I am saying; Comey, etc. I want them punished, of coarse. But who gave the orders, who ‘countenanced’ the coup?

Obama couldn’t have got away with it, OR fast and Furious, or Lerner IRS, ..OR Benghazi (as Sundances, article points out) without the active involvement of the Gang of eight.

And, notice how the individual members of the G of E, changes (SOME of them, anyway) but the methodology remains.

President Trump needs warriors around him, warriors from the economics side, the financial side, the main-street side, the IT side, the global-alliances side, and the military side. He doesn’t need agreement, he needs intelligence.

“Powers” have been at war with each other since the beginnings of the human race and we know about a great deal of this from the neolithic, Bronze Age, Iron Age, the Americas prior to the Europeans, and contemporary societies. Eyes wide open from every position – but appointees fired when they step beyond their intelligence duties and believe they are a power unto themselves. Goodbye John Bolton (and others).

Furthermore, Sundance has beautifully clarified that economic power and strategy is far superior to any other form of winning for one’s nation. At least we now are in the position, and getting ourselves further into the position, of winning for our nation and not for global elites or communists or islamists. The U.S. government is a house so rotten to its foundation, it cannot be restored. It must be bulldozed to the ground.

The big dilemma, is how to get rid of the cancer, which is the Corrupt scoundrels, and preserve the structure of the government operating in mid stream?

We can replace all the congressmen, even judges and executives — but that still leaves the gov’t employed bureaucrats explaining to the newbies what to do. They all have their own agendas or are influenced by the agendas of people providing money of influence to them.

Then there is the media. They are influenced by money as well.

The evil, cunning wolf in sheeps clothing is the CoC/globalists. Their proxy manipulator are dramatic liberals, terrorists, and economic dependents.

I posted this yesterday on the 9/10/19 Michael Flynn & Sidney Powell post by Sundance and got no responses so I’ll try here. At the 6:32 mark Sidney Powell says that lying to the President is a violation of 18 United States Code 1001 and Jeanine Pirro says “It is.” Hannity kept talking and I guess missed Sidney’s comment. Yet Comey told President Trump three times he wasn’t under investigation! Isn’t that lying to the President? This is new to me I have never heard that lying to a President was illegal. Why isn’t this being talked about or has it been and I missed it? Need from free legal advice! Thank you in advance!

Comey’s lie to Trump doesn’t neatly fit the 18 USC 1001 template. Think about it … it’s a supposed confidant in the same “department,” lying to the principal. It’s “the government” (shorthand for the executive, when in a crime/courtroom context) deceiving itself.
What 18 USC 1001 criminalizes is false statements to any “tribunal” or separate branch/independent investigator. False statements between investigators? I’m sure that happens. Brennan lies to FBI, FBI lies to Brennan, FBI hides things from Mueller … that is all internecine.
When the lies are from the executive (or a member of the public) to a court, or from the executive (or a member of the public) to Congress, or from a member of the public to the executive (FBI is part of the executive), then 18 USC 1001 suits.
Be very careful of Greg Jarrett’s pronouncements. Judge Pirro too. They are entertainers first. Not quite as obbvious fraud as “judge” Napolitano, so maybe more damaging to the state of public ignorance.

Cbolt thank you. I thought something like that since no one seemed to get excited about that part of the video except me! I’m surprised Sidney Powell would bring that up based on what you said about 18 USC 1001?

      • This may be the legal interpretation in some venues, but when the party being addressed (and, willfully deceived) is The President of the United States, and when you are not in fact speaking on behalf of the Department but are acting with criminal intent, then 1001 might be made to apply.

Still – “putting your John Hancock on a FISA warrant that you knew to be false and unverified” will be a much, much easier prosecution to bring. (Especially since the Judge in the Court whom you were addressing has already ruled that you lied to her.) When you know that your quarry has committed many felonies, you can choose your target.

        Cboldt,

The part of that interview, towards the end, that made my hair stand up, was Sidney’s response to Sean’s question about “pressure” from the SC, and she said she couldn’t discuss that. Jeanine immediately ooooohhhhh’d and said there must be more to it….

        Thoughts???

Sidney has to be careful to stay within the confines of allegations she has made in her motions, which are now public.
A formal allegation that Flynn was threatened with prosecution of his son, or traded his guilty plea for an “off the books” promise to not go after his son, has yet to be made.
I don’t read anything into the exchange beyond it being something Sidney shouldn’t explore in public, even if pure speculation.
Unless one of the prosecutors flipped, it would be nuts to make the allegation formally. Prosecution is presumed honest, and the evidence of “of the books” deals is he said – she said, with Flynn have a motive (in theory) to fabricate an accusation that the prosecutor threatened to abuse his power in order to get a guilty plea.
This case is playing in two venues. The courtroom, and the court of public opinion. Everybody knows that, and Sidney has to tread somewhat carefully – guided primarily by hard (written) evidence.
Meanwhile, in the court of public opinion, we are free to believe that the prosecution threatened Flynn’s son.

            Makes sense…thanks!

A couple more, while you’re at it:

            1) are these prosecutors (Van Grack and crew) “read into” the master plan, or just following instructions?

            2) is Barr letting them braid their own rope, and if so, how the hell are they NOT seeing that their path goes straight into the abyss?

Joe Farrel presents another Brexit bombshell. It’s about waaay more than tarrifs, protectionist trade barriers, immigration and eventual monetary union. Many have insisted that the EU project was more about control and sovereignty but I don’t think many thought those who control the EU project would think to go this far. Warch and find out what some in the house of Lord’s are revealing and it’s nothing short of breathtaking. I see why the Queen is for a no deal Brexit and her subjects likely have no idea how bad it will be without one …

New info about a no deal Brexit. Without it England and any others who don’t seem a complete divorce from that dictitorial trap are fu#@d. A brave member of the house of Lord’s has spoken about the consequences which are nothing short of terrifying. Probably why the Queen is favoring a Brexit.

Its actually worth the time – essentially, – the main goal of the EU, and what Britain is required to do, is the complete surrender of their military forces, and all military assets, including their nukes – to Brussels, as well as the surrender of their intelligence services, MI5 and MI6. In other words, Brussels (read: GERMANY), will have complete control of the UK’s military and intelligence forces. This is really what Brexit is about – preventing Brussels (Germany) from the takeover of their sovergnity. Really quite breath taking.

    • Now the real question: “how did they get there?” Of course we know that, anytime you create a ballot box, somebody’s going to try to “stuff” it. But 1.5 Million is an awful lot of people and pretty indicative of a broken system – if not conspiracy. At least the system has obvious deficiencies that must be immediately fixed.
