In the old days you earned minimum wage until you earned a value. The employer could afford you at minimum and he could afford paying you above minimum wage once you became worth more than minimum wage.

Libtards do not understand business or incentives. Libtards are about entitlement whether you are entitled or not entitled. Libtards are communist in their thinking which explains why anything government run by a Libtards fails. Libtards are all about equal misery for all. Libtards are not about bringing people up from down, but bringing those up to down.

This would get a lot more teens off the streets into a “learning” position that helps them make better choices in the future. My entire family started working as soon as they cold ride a bike (deliver newspapers, run errands), push a broom.lawnmower or babysit. By our teens we were scooping ice cream, doing office work, unloading products and stocking shelves for local shops, etc. One clearly knew what one didn’t want to do for the rest of a lifetime.

This is what they avoid. Even so called conservatives are failing to make this argument, which is very simple. You’re not supposed to be able to raise a family on minimum wage. The very idea is absolutely absurd. Besides, how many people know someone, even a teenager, who currently makes minimum wage? Around my way even the teenagers are getting 2 or 3 bucks more than that. I’m sure some people somewhere make minimum wage, but unless they’re terrible at it not for long.

I’ve said for decades that if legislating a “living wage” really worked, then why not just legislate that every American make a minimum of $100,000 per year and you’ll eliminate poverty. Of course you’d also eliminate virtually every business in America if you did that. But the Democrats don’t want a livable wage, they want people dependent on them and thinking that Democrats must be elected to make sure they earn enough.

I think you completely miss the point. Legally Mueller is not allowed to say anything other than what is in his report. He knows the Dems want to get him to say things that will make the president look bad. Some think his requesting the letter is to give him an easy out with the Dems when they ask questions. However, I think there’s another side that is more likely, but it’s only my opinion. I think that Mueller asked for the letter for 2 reasons: first to make it hard for the Republicans to ask him questions and second so that the Dems can blame Trump and Barr and say that they blocked Mueller to answer questions. Obviously if the Dems do that they are ignoring the law that requires Mueller to only say what’s in the report, but we all know they don’t care what the law says, the Dems only want what will hurt Trump.

He may speak well, but we should all remember that ANY Democrat is bad compared to a Republican. That’s not because all Republicans are great, but it is important to never forget that there is something inherently wrong with any person who would align with a political party (the Democrats) that have taken God out of their party platform, openly support abortion and infanticide, and on and on. Even if they say they don’t personally support those things, the fact is that if they are willing to be in a party that does support those things, then they are no better than anyone else in their party. You cannot be a Democrat and be on the side of God. Period. It’s that simple. And that’s not to say that all Republicans are on God’s side, certainly many are not. Most of them are liars and cheats (that’s why I became an Independent in 1999 and left the Republican Party),but the GOP platform still respects God and life.

I agree with @Ken Lawson, but only because the RepubliCONS are still trying (halfheartedly) to “hide” their true UNiparty affiliations. I mean, we already know who they are. RepubliCONS held both the House and Senate majorities for TWO YEARS, but did practically nothing to assist their President. He couldn’t even make his recess appointments. Still can’t.

When they deliberately handed off their House majority to the Dimmies, they thought they were too clever by half. But they’re not fooling us. Not by a long shot.

Now, Trump intimated that RINOS are still better than nothing. He can at least leverage their support. So these RINOS will all get another chance to destroy MAGA, unless of course we primary them all.

Hey, President Trump managed to accomplish a lot in his first 2 1/2, years notwithstanding their vicious assault. And he is still standing, I’ll give him that too. So I trust President Trump to lead the way.

Boy, that’s a tough one. I agree that the Republicans need to be reelected, but Colorado is a perfect example of holding your nose while you vote. Cory Gardner is GOPe all the way, hates President Trump (although right now he’s somewhat aligning himself with the president in hopes of getting votes), and needs to be replaced. But it is true that even if it means voting for a globalist UniParty member, it’s better to have a Republican than any Democrat.

        • Ken Lawson says:

While I tend to agree, Katherine, the problem is we can only vote them out in the primary if we have someone to replace them that can win. Here in Colorado there is no one who can step in and win against the Dems and so supporting Gardner helps to protect the Senate seat he sits in. It’s a Catch 22 because if we vote Gardner out in the primaries, there is absolutely no chance to retain the seat for the Republicans. Until someone starts their pursuit of that office far earlier, we have to support the incumbent. Too many people think they can look for a candidate now, but people serious about unseating an incumbent need to understand that they must start their run for the office immediately after the prior election. In this case, if someone wanted to replace Gardner and beat the Dems they’d have had to start their run for the office way back in December 2018 or January 2019 at the latest. It’s now July and way too late to gain the traction needed to win.

Not sure I agree. The Brexit party arose from nothing, to take the lead in 6 weeks.
Same thing happened in the Netherlands.
On the other hand, we know, what happened with the Tea Party, and Bannons group; by announcing their plans, they drew the fire of the enemy.

A ‘product’that truly has appeal, BROAD apoeal, can ‘take off’very quickly, and dominate a market, before the competition has time to organise to compete with it.

A MAGA candidate, that speaks clearly and unequivocly in support of PDJT’s policies, who articulately ‘fights back’and ‘calls out’ demosocialist policies and hypocrisies, SHOULD do well in a number of States and districts.

And, by only jumping in at the last minute, it makes it harder for the opposition (both McConnell RINO and Dems oppo research operations) to target the Candidate.

Roy Mooring, splitter arpio’ing, these methods take time to set up.

And, a big $ advantage doesn’t truly make up for inferior product. We saw that in 2016, and if you go back and look, historically you will see many elections where an underfunded underdog won.

            Because they were Populist candidates.
I believe a populist/nationalist has the potential to beat a party hack, every time. THATS why both parties resort to CHEATING to beat such candidates.

Look at the Senate race in Az. Classic splitter strategy. Does ANYONE REALLY think those women in Alabama were FINE with their ‘abuser’being a Judge, for YEARS, sitting on the bench and Judging others, but when he ran for the Senate, THAT was a ‘bridge too far’?
            C’mon MAN!
That, was a McConnell operation, not JUST to get Moore, but to torpedo Bannons operation, to primary Rinos.

And this is not to ‘defend’Moore; its the TECHNIQUE I am focusing on. They have a variety of ways to manipulate voters, and these are two examples.

And they take time to set up. So, don’t broadcast your intentions, use Social media to organise, come out of ‘nowhere’, and catch them by surprise.

Its a thought.$ HELPS in a campaign, but if your candidate resonates, and the other is an obvious HACK, miracle elections can and do happen.

IMHO,…Its NOT too late for 2020.

It’s a shame voters are forced to settle for the status quo– but those seats are BOUGHT & paid for. It’s why NOTHING will ever change in Congress, & they’re laughing at us while they do it, & don’t hesitate to commit crimes. They represent special interests, NOT their constituents. They can do want they want & make millions off BRIBES, b/c they know there’s NOT a thing citizens can do about it. There’s not even a CJS that’ll hold them accountable.

Until people face the reality– we have NO real control over Congress. Or we finally recognize that our VOTES (in most places), have little to no impact on a predetermined outcome… understanding it’s all a facade, & meant to pacify the masses in letting you think it matters. The chosen can always cheat if they need to… & almost always get away with it too. Nothing changes if it’s never addressed.

PDJT was anomaly. One that required major intervention to allow the votes to determine results. We also know they had “insurance policies” just in case.

Why do you think HRC threw such a tantrum? Was it b/c she was a great candidate, & she campaigned really hard on a better platform– so she really earned it? Lol, NO… she was PROMISED the position, it was “Her Turn.” Half her campaign stops were staged, or literally involved a green-screen! She spent most of the time at private functions with big donors, selling favors. They spent MILLIONS creating a mirage of online support, while working to silence the opposition. ALL to cover for the massive cheating in votes that was required to drag her over the finish line! It failed, but it wasn’t supposed to. The “winning” popular vote was her consolation prize. So they’ve spent 3 years resisting the final winner, trying to take it back.

The Press & even some RNC members already told us: “you don’t get to decide– we do!” The Democrats won’t even let the voters pick the nominee. They actually hire people for caucuses– as needed. DNC has built in rules that ensure the party gets the final say.

The ONLY way to get rid of the imposters who have embedded themselves in Congress– HOLD them accountable for each & every crime they’ve committed year after year.

I am sorry if it hurts to hear it. But if we refuse to acknowledge the problem, it can never be fixed.

IMHO, PDJT was NOT the ‘anomoly’ most people think his election was.
Every so often, candidates, underfunded and down in the polls, have pulled off an ‘upset’.

If you look, in each case they were ‘populist’candidates, running against ‘mainstream'(party hack) opponents.

Populism and Economic Nationalism candidates CAN beat party hacks, even with less funding, every time.

Brrnie was a leftist populist, and without rigging the system, he would have got the Dem nomination.

Thats, why ALL the Democrat candidates this time, are spouting his lines.
He would have gotten trounced in the general, because (again, IMHO) Populist Nationalist, or Economic Nationalist policies beat Socialist Populist policies, every time.

Oh, and by the way, Republicans don’t let the voters decide on the nominee, either. BOTH parties rig the, system; they allow Populist candidates to csmpaign, cause populist candidates gin up the, base, but then the rig the process, to knock them out in the general. And then say “Your guy lost, now,we need to unite, cause the OTHER guys worse!”

It would be nice if it would actually work that way. To primary an incumbent, you need to have a candidate who already has real pull with voters. There isn’t such a Republican in Colorado. There are a couple of possibilities, but they have already committed to the Globalist Cabal for all of their campaign financing and would amount to a loss of name identification. RINO vs no-name RINOs. 🙂

I don’t think the Republican Party in Colorado is salvageable, as it is presently oriented. The mush brained Walker Stapleton was slaughtered by a gay Communist and cost us a legitimate chance at the Governorship. Walker still has his nice guy image, but the cost of his loss will be felt here for a generation.

At least Cory Gardner reads what he thinks are the tea leaves and, if Trump polls strongly in Colorado, Cory will get into his camp very quickly. A bad scenario for sure, but better than losing to the Demcommie, says I. We need Trump to win this state and Cory to read his tea leaves. Did your read this, PDJT? You are very strong in Southern Colorado. Start with that, please? We can’t afford to be blown off again in 2020.

The Shaky Standing of Mueller’s Footnotes

Who knew that the humble footnote would loom so large in some of the most consequential documents of our time? Those bottom-of-the-page annotations are supposed to impose rigor on authors by forcing them to cite justifications for what they assert. But in the age of collusion claims, footnotes have become so much more — places for officials to tuck away inconvenient information; discreet spaces in which to make dubious assertions; or fine print in which required disclosures can be hidden in plain sight.

It was in the footnotes, for example, where the FBI appears to have misled the FISA court in its application to spy on Carter Page – obscuring its reliance on opposition research, the Steele dossier, financed by the Hillary Clinton campaign.

Judicial Watch Files House Ethics Complaint against Rep. Ilhan Omar Over Potential Immigration, Marriage, Tax, and Student Loan Fraud

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it hand-delivered ethics complaint to Chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives Office of Congressional Ethics David Skaggs calling for a full investigation into potential crimes tied to allegations that Rep. Ilhan Omar may have married her biological brother.

“The evidence is overwhelming Rep. Omar may have violated the law and House rules. The House of Representatives must urgently investigate and resolve the serious allegations of wrongdoing by Rep. Omar,” stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “We encourage Americans to share their views on Rep. Omar’s apparent misconduct with their congressmen.”

The Judicial Watch complaint is reprinted below:

    • Whereas, these sorts of things really do not concern me. I know that Rep. Omar is, I think, the first of her ethnicity to serve in Congress, and for that I welcome her. However, the House of Representatives should not condone nor tolerate the behavior that, up ’til now, has been exhibited (specifically) by “these four Members.” I think that their colleagues should formally censure them. I see no particular long-term merits in what Judicial Watch is doing here: I simply want every Representative to get along with one another and with the standards of the House in which they serve the country, and to accomplish the business of Governance while perhaps bringing their own unique perspectives to it. Right now, I see more than 450 people who are apparently doing their jobs, and 4 that are not.

You say that these sorts of things do not concern you, but you are wrong. It should concern all of us when any elected politician violates morals and laws. Our founders were clear that our form of government can only survive if we are a moral and religious people. And if our leaders are violating both moral law and the laws of our land, they need to be removed from office. It is absolutely a concern we should have. The idea that a person’s personal life doesn’t affect their behavior in office is the same argument politicians have used for years to support the likes of Bill Clinton in his immorality and law-breaking. We must hold not just ourselves, but also our leadership to the highest standards or America will not and can not survive.

        • Well, I’d prefer to let her “shape up” and then serve out her (probably, one …) term, rather than give the impression that the Congress or the Nation, absent other justification by the person herself, was simply intolerant of someone of her ethnicity. A “melting pot nation” can have a “melting pot Congress.” But the trouble appears specifically to be: these four people. No one should tolerate, for one day more, what they are doing. And I’ll judge them, not by who they are nor what I consider their “morals” to be, but their on-the-job performance – which so far is beyond awful. I’m willing to try to let her serve out her term if she’s at all willing to learn how.

For this purpose, we have Article 1, Section 5.2:

“Each House may determine the Rules of its Proceedings, punish its Members for disorderly Behaviour, and, with the Concurrence of two thirds, expel a Member.”

Actually, the statement that Ms. Omar is ‘the first of her ethnicity to serve in Congress…’ is false. Whether one believes that Omar is Caucasoid, or one thinks that she is Negroid, there are many, many members of each of these ethnic groups currently serving in Congress. There is even a group called the ‘Black Caucus’ designed for black members, only.

I think you’re probably referring to Omar’s moslem religion. However, Omar isn’t the first moslem to serve in Congress. That distinction belongs to Keith Ellison, who was elected back in 2007, more than a decade ago. The second moslem elected to Congress was André Carson, in 2008.

We’ll have true equality in the United States when people are judged on the content of their character and the actions and behavior that they display, and NOT on the color of their skin or their religious preference. If a person breaks the law, that person should be held accountable and pay whatever fine or jail time that’s required by the laws and statutes. No preference should be given to a white person, black person, moslem, catholic or jew; all people should be treated the same.

They would rather not touch this because Democrats are never prosecuted for anything, or because Muslims can violate our laws because of their culture, or because immigrants can lie and violate our laws because it is an act of love after all, or whatever other excuse the DOJ fabricates. But if this Omar Bro-Fo story becomes common knowledge, the DOJ will have no choice but to get off its butt and enforce our laws in an unbiased fashion.

So the captured illegal alien will be instructed by Catholic Charities, Tides Foundation, Lutheran Social Services, etc., to look afraid when confronted by agents, shift the kid from hip to hip or hand to hand, and to whip our their S O R O S laminated refugee/asylee card and read more or less verbatim:

“Oh, si, I am so veery afreed to reeeturn to my home country, senor. So, ya, I think I might want to be a refugee or claim asylum. Why you ask? Because. Fear. Fear be like: I want a better job. I want less crime, and de gangs, oh dios mio! And mi nino! Mi nino needs a good school, too! Mi nino needs opportunity and education and you should pay because. gringo. So, si, si, so verrrrry afraid to return home to (name sh!thole country here), you dumb-bunny pinche gringo pendejo! Now, you pay me.”

That, right there, fellow Treepers, “indicates an intention to apply for asylum and expresses fear of returning to the country of origin.” That’s all it takes. Easy peazy lemon squeezy. Annnnd they’re in like Flynn.

Does cuck-bucket DHS, the NWO population replacement enforcement GESTAPO, think putting that weasel-word language in that mess is fooling us after watching hours of interviews with our replacements while “caravaning” north wherein they explicitly state: I need a job; my kid needs school; I need opportunity; and, I don’t like the crime and the gangs (gangs comprised of my fellow countrymen) in my home country.

How many homeless in LA and SanFran can say the EXACT same thing? So all of the Paradise, CA REFUGEES have permanent homes now after having been forced into tents in a WalMart parking lot after losing their homes in the Camp Fire? How about the victims of the Malibu Fire? Hurricane Michael? The massive Midwest flooding this year? How about every other natural disaster to plague the USA for the last five years? No? Those American disaster victims are still living in FEMA trailers, cheap tents, shelters, etc.? Then turn this invasion force back at the border until every American is fed, clothed, and housed PROPERLY after a natural disaster and given enough from the common weal help to get back on his or her feet. I owe my fellow citizens first when disaster strikes. And plenty of disasters seems to be striking us in the USA right now.

Then in 1992 came Bush’s UN Agenda 21 “New World Order.”
Totalitarians in sheeps clothing are “breaking” our immigration system in order to erase cultural, religious, political and economic barriers.

They want to do away entirely with the concept of nations, at least in the West. (Believe me, they wouldn’t try this in Russia or China!)

It has nothing at all to do with our current President, except for the fact that he’s desperate to save the free world in general, and the USA in particular. As far as these Globalists are concerned, however, President Trump represents a speed bump in their quest for world domination.

Border Patrol Agents have stated that the illegal immigration is the worst they have ever seen – some of which have been on the job for 30+ years
I live in a border state – South TX – and the statistics are not fairly reported – but the crime is out of control – and most people I know have relatives who have businesses that are suffering due to the influx of illegals taking jobs and underbidding on large jobs – many have fake social security numbers so the authorities are overwhelmed trying to control things.
Illegals from South America & Mexico blend in easily in the border states due to the already large Hispanic population – so again crime is difficult to measure

For every illegal that is caught crossing the border – five more have crossed undetected

Immigration is a major factor in President Trump’s re-election – so yes, there is an outside force doing everything possible to destroy that – no matter what it takes.

The trend for being proud to be an American again since the 2016 election continues to gain traction. Yes, there are hurdles to overcome, as there have always been. But look at a President Trump rally. Now try to find anything close to an equivalent showing support for a Democrat.

You can worry about illegals voting, big data interfering, what “insiders” think and a thousand other problems which may be illusions since few facts are presented to support them.

I cannot talk you down from your personal ledge, but if you have a few moments to spare between now an the election, maybe you could step down for awhile to make a phone call to your local GOP office to see if they need any volunteers, or send a few emails to friends and relatives about the importance of voting, or continue to post here about articles you have located which show optimism for President Trump’s Keep America Great agenda!

There is always a need for us to be concerned about our political state of affairs, but if we let the concern evolve into worry we run the danger of becoming paralyzed by outright fear. THAT is what the left hopes will happen and will do all they can to spread a false narrative to keep us in a state of inaction.

So if we win in 2020 that gives us 4 more years to prepare, maybe. If we do not win and God forbid we lose the Senate as well? Then you had better have had your plans in place because it will start to get sporty. Plan accordingly. And, vote and spread the word to anyone who would listen. Like your lives depend on it.

      Second,…
2 candidates, A and B. Each has 10 voters, so its a ‘tie’, right?
But one of A’s voters doesn’t vote, for whatever reason.
      So, B wins, 10 to 9, right?
But, suppose that voter doesn’t just not vote for A, but insteadd votes for B?
      Now its 11 to 9.
My point? The #walkaway is thousands of people who have made utube videos, about walking away from the,Dem party, and voting Republican, and for Trump.
And for every one of them who had the technical savvy to know how to make and post,a video, and the courage to accept ostracisation and even threats from former friends, relatives, etc. we can safely assume their are others, who have made the switch, quietly.

Go to yesterdays home page, scroll down to the Democrat being interviewed. Says he’s NOT a “Trumper”, didn’t vote for Trump in 2016, but will in 2020, cause by Gid, he foes what he says hes gonna do.

Then, somebody direct me to the video of ONE person saying “I voted for TRUMP in 2016, but after what I’ve seen, I will definetly and enthusiastically be voting for the Democrat nominee in 2020!”

Cause I haven’t found ONE person saying that, yet.

And chill, PDJT has ‘got this’; in 2016, google, the Dems, the Reps, the media were against him, and he won.

No previous political experience, no track record in office, and he,won.

Now, he HAS a track record, and its FANTASTIC. ALL of his deyractors have only damaged their OWN Credibility, while making him stronger.

Would you go out and collect GARBAGE, and bring it into your house?

Then WHY in the, world, would you seek out and bring such GARBAGE as this, into your MIND?

“You got to get your MIND RIGHT, Luke!

          Take “convicted murderes”;
I knew a guy. He “snapped”, truly and killed his wife in a moment of uncontrolled rage.
Called police, willingly surrendered, pled guilty, sentenced to 10, out in 7 for good behavior.
He was the most meek, mild mannered guy I ever met. He felt EXTREAMLY guilty for what he had done. FULL of remorse, etc.
He really didn’t need to be isolated from society for 7 years, IMHO he was NO threat to ANYONE.
After what he had experienced, there, was NO WAY he would EVER allow himself to lose control, again.

Far safer than many walking around, who very well COULD ‘lose control’, because unlike him, they are not guarding against it, with every fiber of their being.
And yet, I suspect if he were one of these released, he would be counted as a “violent criminal, a MURDERER, released under this program.

          Food for thought,….?

An amendment to the First Step Act was introduced with Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Arkansas. It would have required victims to be notified before an offender is released and would force the Bureau of Prisons to track recidivism data. It would have also added nine crimes that the senator described as “serious, violent, or sex-related” to the “ineligible prisoners” list, excluding prisoners convicted of those crimes from early release.

        Cotton was ignored.

Yes, IHYN, I found the segment. Again, most of the prisoners were due for release any way, but reevaluating the “good time credit” allowed them out a few months early. Given that the prison system has become a political football — more so since it largely was privatized in the 1990s to become profit centers for investors — an empty bed does not serve the bottom line. However, keeping prisoners for an extra few months doesn’t serve the system as much as counseling, planning and training in preparation for these people to take a useful role in society upon their release.

My cousin volunteered as a teacher (literacy) in the system for 20 years and fully backed this initiative based on experiences with prisoners who only became more disfunctional the longer they were confined. I guess we will see over the next few months how successful this program will be.

Next is the second chance initiative: ( The next time you go to the IRS you will probably interact with a former gun toting heroin dealer who previously sold heroin to your neighbors daughter who is now dead from an overdose )

PROVIDING A SECOND CHANCE AT SUCCESS: President Donald J. Trump is advancing second chance hiring to help give all Americans the opportunity to work towards a brighter future.

The Trump Administration is promoting second chance hiring to ensure Americans have opportunities to succeed after leaving prison.

The President is mobilizing resources across his Administration to boost second chance hiring.

The Department of Justice and Bureau of Prisons is launching a new “Ready to Work Initiative” to connect employers directly with former prisoners.

The Department of Labor is awarding more than $2 million to States to support fidelity bonds that will underwrite companies that hire workers with criminal backgrounds.
The Department of Education is expanding an initiative that allows individuals in prison to receive Pell Grants to better prepare themselves for the workforce.

The Office of Personnel Management is working to make USAJOBS – the Federal Government’s job listings – available to individuals in Federal prison and upon release.
The Trump Administration is working with the private sector and non-profit organizations to help give former prisoners a second chance at the American dream.

Employers realize that second chance hiring is good for their businesses, especially in today’s thriving economy where there are far more job opportunities than job seekers.
Non-profits play a critical role by providing transitional assistance, counseling, housing, and education to former prisoners so they may become productive members of society.

      FTA:
“The data, first obtained exclusively by ‘Tucker Carlson tonight,’ seemingly contradicated promises from lawmakers and the White House that the legislation would largely affect only prisoners sentenced for minor drug-related offenses.

“Of the 2,243 inmates released under the First Step Act, only 960 were incarcerated for drug-related offenses.

“On the other hand, 496 were in prison for weapons/explosives-related crimes, 239 for sex offenses, 178 for fraud/bribery/extortion, 118 for burglary/larceny and 106 for robbery, according to the data.”
