Lawsuit Claims Julian Assange Confirmed DNC Emails Received From Seth Rich – Not a Russian Hack…

A rather stunning report from Gateway Pundit outlines information contained within a lawsuit filing.  The lawsuit, filed by Businessman Ed Butowsky, alleges Wikileaks founder Julian Assange confirmed to Fox News analyst Ellen Ratner that the DNC leaked emails were received from Seth Rich and his brother Aaron.

The details contained within the lawsuit filing (full pdf below) are stunning.

If this information is true and accurate, the DOJ claim of a Russian hack –based on assertions by DNC contractor, Crowdstrike– would be entirely false.  Additionally the DC murder of Seth Rich would hold a far more alarming motive.

(Source, lawsuit filing – pdf link, page 13)

Here’s the Full Court Filing:

.

The ramifications here are almost too large to describe.

If this information turns out to be true and accurate, the entire narrative around the DNC “hack” will have been proven to be intentionally manufactured.

Despite the FBI’s prior admissions about never reviewing the DNC servers; and despite their recent admissions about never actually seeing the forensic computer analysis, the U.S. Department of Justice, specifically Robert Mueller, Andrew Weissmann and former DAG Rod Rosenstein, cannot blame a simple investigative ‘mistake‘ for the wrong attribution of who gave the DNC emails to Wikileaks.

The FBI, the DOJ and the Mueller special counsel have each purposefully claimed specific Russian actors were responsible for hacking the DNC in 2016.  If it turns out those claims were based on falsehood, the integrity of the DOJ and Special Counsel collapses.

Mr. Butowsky is making a very serious allegation in this court filing.

Additionally, the previously discussed motive to arrest Julian Assange would now be further enhanced.  Heck, the reason for Assange’ arrest would be brutally obvious.

♦Dana Boente was head of DOJ-NSD from May 11th, 2017 through end of October 2017 when he officially announced his intent to retire. However, the timeline gets cloudy here because Boente said he was staying on until an official replacement was announced. There’s no indication of when Boente actually left the DOJ-NSD or the Eastern District of Virginia (EDVA) role.

On January 23rd, 2018, FBI Director Christopher Wray announced Dana Boente had shifted over to the FBI to be Chief Legal Counsel (replacing James Baker) where Boente remains today. As Mueller was using 19 lawyers, and 50 FBI investigators, Boente was/is the legal counsel to FBI Director Christopher Wray while the Mueller probe was ongoing.

[Remember, Robert Mueller never interviewed Julian Assange.  Additionally, it is worth noting for the U.S. side of the legal framework, the charges against Assange are not related to Russian efforts in a hack of the DNC; nor is Assange charged with anything related to the 2016 U.S. election interference activities, the Podesta email release or anything therein as previously described by the DOJ.]

The April 11th, 2019, Julian Assange indictment stemmed from the Eastern District of Virginia.  From a review of the indictment we discover it was under seal since March 6th, 2018: (The DOJ sat on the indictment for 13 months, until Mueller finished)

(Link to pdf)

However, on Tuesday April 15th, 2019, more investigative material was released. Again, note the dates: Grand Jury, *December of 2017* This means FBI investigation prior to December ’17..

The investigation of Assange took place prior to December 2017, it is coming from the EDVA where Dana Boente was still, presumably, U.S. Attorney. The grand jury indictment was sealed from March of 2018 until April of 2019.

Why was there a delay?

Why did the DOJ wait until the Mueller report was complete?

Here’s where it gets interesting….

The FBI submission to the Grand Jury in December of 2017 was four months after congressman Dana Rohrabacher talked to Assange in August of 2017: “Assange told a U.S. congressman … he can prove the leaked Democratic Party documents … did not come from Russia.”

(August 2017, The Hill Via John Solomon) Julian Assange told a U.S. congressman on Tuesday he can prove the leaked Democratic Party documents he published during last year’s election did not come from Russia and promised additional helpful information about the leaks in the near future.

Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, a California Republican who is friendly to Russia and chairs an important House subcommittee on Eurasia policy, became the first American congressman to meet with Assange during a three-hour private gathering at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, where the WikiLeaks founder has been holed up for years.

Rohrabacher recounted his conversation with Assange to The Hill.

“Our three-hour meeting covered a wide array of issues, including the WikiLeaks exposure of the DNC [Democratic National Committee] emails during last year’s presidential election,” Rohrabacher said, “Julian emphatically stated that the Russians were not involved in the hacking or disclosure of those emails.”

Pressed for more detail on the source of the documents, Rohrabacher said he had information to share privately with President Trump. (read more)

If you overlay the timing, it would appear the FBI took a keen interest in Assange after this August 2017 meeting and gathered specific evidence for a grand jury by December 2017. Then the DOJ sat on the indictment (sealed in March 2018) while the Mueller probe was ongoing; until April 11th, 2019, when a coordinated effort between the U.K. and U.S. was launched. Assange was arrested, and the indictment was unsealed (link).

To me, as a person who has researched this three year fiasco; including the ridiculously false 2016 Russian hacking/interference narrative: “17 intelligence agencies”, JAR report (needed for Obama – December 29th, ’16), and political ICA (January ’17); this looked like a Deep State move to control Julian Assange because the Mueller report was dependent on Russia cybercrimes…. AND that narrative is contingent on the Russia DNC hack story.

The Weissmann/Mueller/Rosenstein report contains claims that Russia hacked the DNC servers as the central element to the Russia interference narrative in the U.S. election. This claim is directly disputed by WikiLeaks and Assange, as outlined during the Dana Rohrabacher interview.

Right there is the FBI motive to shut Assange down when the Mueller report was released.

The DNC hack claim is contingent upon analysis by Crowdstrike computer forensics who were paid by the DNC to look into the issue. The FBI was never allowed to review the servers independently, and now we know the FBI never even looked at a full forensics report from Crowdstrike.

Almost all independent research into this DNC hack narrative challenges the claims of a Russia hack of the DNC servers; and now this bombshell court filing, again if accurate, makes the DOJ claim completely collapse.

Lastly, if we are to believe everything that is factually visible; including the admissions by the FBI and DOJ itself; and it is proven that Seth Rich was indeed the source of the DNC emails and there was no hack; well,… what does that say about Robert Mueller and Rod Rosenstein, who would have had to know they were pushing abject lies in their dubious Russian indictments.

The ramifications of this court filing are huge.

  1. this is now simple..prove the Russians DID NOT hack the DNC…and this whole thing is blown sky high…and Barr will have no choice but to start the prosecution ball rolling..

..you know Mueller is NEVER testifying…and now….CNN is running a pre-strike hit piece reinforcing the LIE that Russia hacked the DNC and gave the files to Assange..I know he is a POS..and should hang…but in this case..I’d pardon him in a second to provide PROOF..where he got the DNC emails…they better get him quick…before he “dies” in jail from medical complications..like Seth Rich did!!!

What I want to know is why the esteemed FBI outsourced looking at the server to Crowdstrike? Don’t we have experts in FBI labs? Did the FBI do this so if caught with fake evidence they could blame someone?

          marguerite;
The FBI didn’t ‘outsource’ examining the DNC servers. The DNC refused to allow the FBI to LOOK at the servers, and the DNC called in crowdstrike, which did a forensic analyses of the servers, and wrote a report.

“And the FBI got a copy of that report, right?” you may ask.
Well,…NO. They got a SUMMARY of that report, with much material, believe it or not, REDACTED.
So, if our conspiracy theory is correct, crowdstrike detirmined where the download occured, told DNC, and Seth Rich was killed, and family intimidated.
Probably “you lost ONE son, do you want to go for TWO?”
Crowdstrike recently went public, and founders got their payoff, for being complicit in a murder.

Thing is, assuming this is what happened, WHY kill Seth Rich; the info had already been transferred to wikileaks. So, unless he had MORE material, and was killed to plug the leak, this is either to send a message to anyone else considering, or its ‘simply’ revenge.
          And that screams Hillary.

            I’ve asked that question, too.

Seth Rich’s murder could have been coincidental. A botched robbery, as they say. That may even be what the DC police would have found, if the DNC hadn’t enlisted Mayor Bowser to interfere with the investigation…maybe interfere is a harsh word. The Mayor only advised the police not to explore leads that implicated the DNC. It’s not like she actually TOLD them to back-burner the investigation, as far as we know.

The only logical motive would be preventing the stolen emails from being delivered. They wouldn’t need three guesses to figure out who the intended recipient was. Did they know when?

Butowsky’s suit makes it clear he believes he has proof that the DNC convinced the Rich family to stop investigating and dummy up.

Another possibility – WHY kill Seth Rich:

With him dead and his family silenced, there’d be no one with first-hand knowledge who could deny the validity of Crowdstrike’s Guccifer 2.0 fabrication, except Julian Assange.

Was it Crowdstrike who not only put forth the Guccifer 2.0 hoax (to cover up the actual source of the leak (Seth Rich) and to falsely smear Wikileaks and then Pres. Trump with a planted Russian connection), but also provided the Mueller team with the data to indict the 12 GRU officers for “hacking the DNC” ?

              If A=B and B=C then A=C

              A – Crowdstrike

Someone has created docs to make it look like the Russians. Pursuing a single small charge out of his massive corpus of criminality accomplishes little and only compromises a comprehensive prosecution of the entire conspiracy to include McCabe’s role in it. That is sufficient rationale to delay or even pass on the referred charge.

EVEN IF the DOJ planned to “fail” on the comprehensive prosecution, they could still have used that rationale as their excuse for not pursuing the small charge. Frankly, if I myself was prosecuting I wouldn’t pounce until I could get a much bigger bite than a single leak charge whose prosecution could threaten prosecution of the larger conspiracy. I always thought those excepting a minor bloodletting of McCabe before the whole enchilada was rolled up were themselves engaging in a form of hope porn.

Some think Mueller might be working on his testimony with the House democrats, rather he may be quite desperate to find a way out IF this evidence comes to light. Particularly since Mueller’s team spent some $35 million and could not find out about this? They probably knew and suppressed the evidence and facts. Second concern, IF this evidence comes out and does destroy the Russia Collusion narrative and all credibility of the Mueller Report, the TDS on the part of the liberal, resistance, Democrats mAy send a bunch of them over the top…..crazy as they would have to admit that President Trump was right all along. The Mueller report deals with the DNC hack on pages 34 through 42. It never says “the Russians/GRU hacked the DNC servers…”. Rather, it says that Crowdstrike told them that the GRU/Russians hacked the servers. So, FWIW, it isn’t first-hand, it is second-hand-uncorroborated. Two things: An L1 at an off-shore law school would be all over that. And that section has several “Harm to Ongoing Matters” redactions. Curious.
Mueller’s scope wasn’t to solve the Seth Rich murder. The passage in the Mueller report about the DNC hack is peculiar on its own.

What is most notable to me is Team Mueller’s astonishing lack of curiosity about so many things. One of the central reasons for his appointment was to investigate claims of collusion with the Russians yet they apparently never bothered to examine the key pieces of ‘evidence’ for those claims. If I were to go to the police and say “I have evidence that proves X,Y and Z was done by Individual A” the normal investigative procedure would be to check it out. Until the info is deemed reliable it is a claim, not fact.

The Weissman/Mueller operation was Phase II — one part entrapment scheme, one part coverup — so is, by extension, fraudulent as well.

“If so, please enumerate who participated”

That’s really interesting! I’ve not read the Mueller Report, so thank you. That answers my question as to whether Crowdstrike provided the data to the Mueller team to indict the 12 GRU officers for the “DNC hack.”

So, as you write, the Mueller Report doesn’t say the Russians/GRU hacked the DNC servers, and yet the Mueller prosecutors issued an indictment on them in July 2018 alleging exactly that. So, now we know the Mueller team got no other input except from Crowdstrike. No NSA proof/confirmation of Russian hacking.

Mayor Muriel Bowser for help indealing with the political consequences of the murder. Ms. Brazile knew suspicionswould soon arise, fairly or unfairly, that the murder was connected to the email leaks.D.C. police allowed the FBI to unlock Seth Rich’s electronic devices, and the FBIobtained data showing that Mr. Rich had indeed provided the DNC emails to Wikileaks. At Mr. McCabe’s direction, however, that information was kept secret with orders that itnot be produced in response to any Freedom of Information Act request. For her part,Ms. Bowser directed D.C. police not to pursue any investigative avenues that mightconnect the murder to the email leaks. It has been well known by the FBI and DC municipal police that Seth Rich was murdered because of his role in copying the DNC emails to a thumb drive and then relaying this information to Wikileaks. Rather than actually investigate his murder, they have proactively engaged in a coverup to conceal this fact. That is a Class I felony by all the agents and police officers involved. Soon AG Barr will have no choice but face this reality head-on and clean house. I saw a video once where Mr. Wheeler states he was given no explanation of why they terminated his investigation. IIRC, Debbie wassermun-schultz’ brother was in charge of the DC police “investigation” of Seth’s murder. Basically, he shut it down too.

    Here’s Sean interviewing Rod Wheeler.

MC, here is the skeevy reason the parents did not want to comtinue the investigation…

“.47. On December 17, 2016, at the instigation of Ms. Rattner, Mr. Butowsky finally contacted Joel and Mary Rich, the parents of Seth, and he relayed the information about Ms. Rattner’s meeting with Mr. Assange. During that conversation, Mr. Rich told Mr. Butowsky that he already knew that his sons were involved in the DNC email leak, but he and his wife just wanted to know who murdered Seth. Mr. Rich said he was reluctant to go public with Seth’s and Aaron’s role in leaking the emails because “we don’t want anyone to think our sons were responsible for getting Trump elected.”

They were afraid of Trump supporters…idiots.

        I don’t know.
I tend to believe that the Rich’s were told to shut up or else the other son Aaron would also meet the same fate as Seth.
Most parents I know would go to the mat for their children.

From the bit you quoted the parents weren’t afraid of Trump supporters, they feared Trump haters.

No, I read that as they were afraid of Hillary supporters, pissed that the DNC leaks cost Hillary the election.
Given what we have seen, not an unreasonable fear, at all.

I saw that but it just doesn’t ‘ring true’ as to the real reason, imo. Since the parents agreed to hire (although it was Butowsky who paid for Wheeler’s services) Wheeler, that reason would hae presented to begin with. I believe it was the parents fear (or possibly further death threats) that would have been inflicted, starting with Aaron. Once it became reasonably appararent it was more than a regular DC “robbery”/murder, any parent(s) would do what they could to save the surviving child. I think the ‘Trump’ story line would most likely be the cover-up storyline. We’ll never know, but this is huge if it comes to light now.

Interesting that Aaron Rich’s wife, Molly, drafted Wheeler’s retainer contract, per paragraph 49, Complaint.

Anyone know where this Ellen Ratner currently is? Hopefully she has some protection from the bad guys who might come calling. If this was known by some people why was she not forthcoming about it and why was she left alone all this time by the whole crowd of people who set this Russian farce up? Where is she?

“To me, as a person who has researched this three year fiasco; including the ridiculously false 2016 Russian hacking/interference narrative: “17 intelligence agencies”, JAR report (needed for Obama – December 29th, ’16), and political ICA (January ’17); this looked like a Deep State move to control Julian Assange because the Mueller report was dependent on Russia cybercrimes…. AND that narrative is contingent on the Russia DNC hack story.”

Touché, Sundance. The timeline does not lie.

I fear for Assange’s life. If this is true, it would explain why they took Assange into custody when they did. Makes sense to me. The guy knows too much and must tell them who else knows and what they know?

My hope is that Julian via his followers have the actual thumb drive safely stored somewhere, to be accessed at only the right time. When would that be? When he is given some level of immunity by the President, or meets his demise by “accident” at the hands of the complicit British holding him. He cannot trust anyone, not even Barr, with that device (although there must be copies).

Unfortunately it is very possible the CIA has already gotten to his associates to try and “clean up”.

Whenever PDJT is asked about Asange he makes an odd comment like “I don’t know anything about him”, or something very vague. I hope he is going to be part of the great body slam that is being set up by our President.

A certain posting on Sunday by a site with a single letter says this will be a week to remember. I hope this is just part of it.

Many of you know, I’ve been following the Seth Rich angle – as have many others who read here. I’m sure we all are appreciative that the truth sees light in this horrific murder. The truth will set us free.

So, did Seth Rich gets murdered just as he was mailing the DNC documents? After all, it takes time for old style mail documents to arrive, by no later than July 14, 2016? It would be interesting see the post mark dates on the package. And, within five days of Comey’s Exoneration of Hillary Clinton. It looks to me that they could have been cleaning up loose ends.–

July 5, 2016 – Comey Exonerates Hillary for Leaking Secret Data from her Illegal Home Server

July 10, 2016.- Seth Rich was murdered

July 14, 2016, or earlier – WikiLeaks Receives DNC Documents
WikiLeaks receives DNC documents that were leaked by a DNC insider. Neither Russia nor Guccifer 2.0 is involved. By July 16, it is known that WikiLeaks intends to release a large trove of DNC documents that are very damaging for Hillary.

    July 18, 2016 – Hillary/DNC Launch Trump-Putin Conspiracy Theory
In anticipation of the WikiLeaks release, the DNC launches the media hoax that Trump weakened the GOP platform on the Ukraine aid and colluded with Putin.

July 19. A perfectly-timed Steele report claims that Putin is behind the dump of DNC files on WikiLeaks. Even if the first few Steele reports were invented by Cody Shearer, Steele is providing close support to the DNC narrative at this point in time through December 2016.

    July 22, 2016 – WikiLeaks Dump

July 31, 2016 – Comey intervenes. FBI launches operation Crossfire Hurricane.
After months of spying on the Trump campaign and defaming Trump in the National Security Council, Brennan, Clapper, and the FBI counterintelligence start using the power and trust of their offices. Using this power and trust to support the Democratic elections stratagems, they sow conflict among Republican congressional leaders, and between them and Trump.

IIRC, the Rich family had an inexplicable change if heart and demanded people cease investigating Seth’s muder and leave the investigation to the police. Video clips of interviews with Seth’s parents and brother, Aaron illustrated unusual, if not bizarre behavior. Here is a link which provides some of audio discussing limits placed on public interest in helping solve Seth’s murder.

Although this link is not the source I recall , Crowdsource the truth & George Webb also discussed these strange responses from the Rich family.

Seems to me that the attorney who drafted these complaints and legal documents may be a student of the Sundance Tree House School of Technology.

Assange should have quit playing games and got the information out sooner. He has no one to blame but himself for speaking cryptically about Seth Rich and giving the deep state time to plot on him.

My understanding is that Assange offered to testify. No one took him up on this. Still not sure why Rohrbacher and others had knowledge yet there was no testimony.

Nothing adds up here. Unless they were instructed by the administration to stay mum in order to snare the very top.

I have often wondered about all of this.

Our country was put through three years of Hell…wasted personal lives, you and I handwringing, foreign policy hampering, money wasted, the President’s up hill forging, the list goes on and on and on.

USA First, Assange was not playing games. His brand is built on the fact that he does not reveal his sources. He has a business to run. What is in it for him if he reveals his source? Especially since the USA has threatened to extradite him and keep him imprisoned for life. He wants amnesty. What motive would he have for wrecking his brand, otherwise?

You must not have read the article. It states very clearly HE DID reveal the source.

He was playing games because he’s had plenty of opportunity to reveal it to a big audience and instead revealed it to hardly anyone.

A lot of good his “brand” does him in deep state custody.
