The Declassification Directive Gives Pelosi, Schumer and Small Group Few Options…

When President Trump announced the futility of attempting an infrastructure bill with Pelosi and Schumer as they simultaneously tried to impeach him, the president certainly knew he was going to issue a declassification memo within hours.

The declassification directive to AG Bill Barr creates a dynamic ensuring Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer will align with the former intelligence officials and further attack the offices of the President and Attorney General; they have few options.

Those who participated in the creation of Russia-Gate or Spy-Gate have few options except to manufacture a narrative shield and accuse the President of unethical, immoral and criminal conduct.  See: Pelosi’ recent “cover-up” charge.

By advancing even stronger attacks against the president, the ‘small group’ position any investigation into their wrong-doing as political retaliation.  Their best defense is to build a deeper foundation for their political retaliation claim.  Therefore a House impeachment investigation, in some manner or form, is more likely than ever.

The legal risk for participants in ‘Russia-Gate’/’Spy-Gate’ seems very real.  The best defense against that risk is political.  Speaker Pelosi and Senator Schumer know how to lead the defense by saying any evidence discovered by AG Barr is merely weaponized retaliation from the Trump DOJ.  The media are already supporting that cause.

Speaker Pelosi needs to protect John Brennan, James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Sally Yates and the participating small group writ large, if she is to retain her gavel and power.  Minority leader Chuck Schumer knows the play; and the media are already fully circling the wagons as part of their three-year ongoing participation.

As this stage in the sunlight process; and with a mountain of visible evidence locked-in to the record of what took place; there is no evidence anyone inside the Washington Field Office of the FBI was not a participant.

There may be decent “rank-and-file” FBI agents in various positions throughout the country, but there is no honorable “rank-and-file” in the Washington DC Field Office.  The entire apparatus is full of corrupt investigators, manipulative liars, participating schemers, and agents/officials who went along with three years of politically motivated investigations; there’s no recovery from the scale of their involvement.

Interestingly the FBI alignment with Pelosi and Schumer is now similar to the FBI alignment with Feinstein and Harris in the Blasey-Ford fraud (Brett Kavanaugh hearings/fiasco).  The weaponization of the FBI around Washington DC is a feature, not a flaw; nothing is a surprise now.

Careerists within the intelligence apparatus (CIA, FBI, DOJ etc.) will continue to fall in line with the political objectives of Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer because it is in their own best interests.   Schumer and Pelosi will defend the former corruption because they have no political option to retain power; this is their ideological crew.

What I have noticed over the years, is that God will often put people in a place for a reason. They may annoy, irritate, offend, and outrage me, but in the end, I have to say I grew from the experience. That is definitely the case with President Trump. There is NO QUESTION God placed him in that position. The Scriptures indicate He does that, much to our dismay.

          @CA M: ^^^^^^This!

@Sundance: Once again your observation is spot on! For the coup plotters self preservation is now the stage they find themselves in. For their rogue operators abroad its a much different ball game as the implication fingers them as co-conspirators if not the driving force behind it all – such as the UK.

Sundance – there are always unintended consequences and so its the case here. They have to evaluate whether they want to retain their status as an ally rather than opposite because what they have done was ‘an act of war’.

The past week we have learned about deep state intelligence agents being fired in Italy and Russia. There may be others we don’t know about. Getting on the wrong side of the US has consequences that put their own country’s national security at risk. This is no small issue since they have access to our satellites and access to our NSA and military intelligence.
Then there is the focus evaluating the behavior of the UK: Their affinity for secret dossiers goes back to 2002. A secret dossier authorized by their beloved spy chief Sir Richard Dearlove to president Bush Jr vouched that Saddam Hussein had WMD. It was fabricated and a lie.
Yet president Bush used that secret dossier as the reason to dispatch thousands of our military men and women invading Iraq. I don’t think this has been forgotten as so many of our military patriots not only were used to fight a bogus war but thousands lost their lives in the process while thousands more are maimed for life.
          Who will make that right?

It has been said that the UK, Italy and Russia are co-operating with president Trump, his team and our military command about SpyGate.
Also consider that internal texts by coup plotters here and rogue agents abroad also discussed assassinating president Trump although these texts have not been published – yet.
There is a lot at stake and Pelosi and gang are powerless to stop what is coming. They are outmatched in many ways.

@Sundance: Now is the time where president Trump applies the leverage he has and rightfully so!

And the American people be damned. I’ve had enough as I’m sure almost all real Americans have, and we are not going to survive this as a country if all these corrupt traitors are not dealt with quickly and systematically. I cannot believe my country has been allowed to sink to such a pathetic and disgusting level. Nothing by crazies, liars, creeps, degenerates in the District of Criminals, except for a rare few. What in God’s name are the citizens going to do to save their country is all that remains to be seen.

    • It’s inevitable the Dems will regain power. Once they do, everything Trump has accomplished will be thrown out with extreme prejudice. They will vent their rage on the American people. That’s why I believe nothing short of an hard coup will put American bank on track. Many may disagree, and I understand the perils of extremism. But, the deck is stacked against us through voter fraud, forced change in demographics, and the conspiracy of the media.

Honestly, our President wouldn’t resort to this. He’s a conditioned fighter and will do his best to overcome this mess even if he has to go it alone. Any extreme action like a coup would probably occur during the upcoming handoff of power.

In any event, we shall see.

This begs the question of not If, but When. From 1861 through 1912, with the exception of “Mugwump” Grover Cleveland running as a non-partisan reformer, post-Appomattox Rats shut themselves out of office until Teddy Roosevelt split the Republican vote to elect raging anti-Federalist Woodrow Wilson, a Deep South cracker masquerading as a Northern (Hoosier) academic/intellectual.

Gen Xers born 1969 are due to peak at age 58 in 2026, followed by Millennials born 1990, the Class of 2012 peaking 2048. These cohorts are generational, not regional; and by all odds Rats’ superannuated geriatrics combined with lockstep collectivist poseurs will be subsumed in wave-on-wave of realism reflecting post-postwar demographic, geopolitical, technologic change.

Much like the Silent Generation born 1924 – ’45, Millennials show signs of opting out, withdrawing from contention on heels of adverse circumstance– not Depression and War, but their sadsack equivalents. Not only will there be no rutting “youth cult” after 2030, because no-one’s being born, but all manner of techno-social trends from dumbed-down schools to robot/AI competitors and mindless sexbots will blast creative endeavor at the root. Indeed, since the mid-1960s this past half-century has registered the greatest socio-cultural dearth since Alaric the Goth.

If Trump does this right, the Dems will not regain power. Ever. I know, ever is a long time. But in time, there will be no Dems if this thing is prosecuted to the utmost. ALL the way up (and down) the chain, no stone left unturned. Burn it all down, whatever it takes. Even the SC isn’t immune, if things are done correctly, Kagen & Sotomayor will be removed. For me, it’s either all or nothing. No half measures, no “for the good of the country” stuff. It’s in the country’s best interest to lay it all bare & deal with it. All at once. Now. Before our enemies can affect events & mount an effective counter attack. Time is on their side not ours.

“But, but, but, there might be social unrest.” Tough titties. It has to happen. When we come out of it, and we will, our country will be as it should be & this will not happen again.

Ridicule and refusing to give the FBI any legitimacy on any level. If just conservative Americans were clued in and responded by showing the FBI the contempt it deserves in every contact with, comment about, and certainly refusing to accept any evidence or testimony provided by the FBI on principle could do more to fix the corruption than will be done in DC.

It also doesn’t hurt to make it a regular practice to call your congressmen and senators to demand oversight of the out of control police state that is the FBI.

One thing that is needed is a complete and utter Bitch Slap by AG William Barr. A lengthy public press conference where he explains exactly WHY these investigations are necessary, and a direct CHARGE toward the MSM that by attempting to spin, deflect, and misdirect the public, they are demonstrating their objective of justifying and excusing alleged TREASONOUS ACTS, and possibly implicitly verifying their potential complicity in such acts.

Despite the witch hunt, he has managed his first two years in office very wisely. He has also managed, thus far, to avoid the traps they set for him.

VSGPDJT has pulled that declass trigger just in time to avoid their next trap: retaliation. Just as there was no proven case to obstruct, there is no pending case that warrants retaliation, no tit for tat.

A/G Barr’s investigation is only occurring because a small cadre of principled politicians (Nunes, Jordan, Meadows, Colllins, Gaetz et al); a minority of media hosts (Hannity, Dobbs, Bongino, Pirro ..); a small cadre of honest intrepid reporters (Carter, Solomon, Strassel…) and individual websites (CTH, Gateway P…) kept the Coup theory alive and never stopped digging to prove it. But most of this digging would’ve been unsuccessful without “reliable sources” and informants on the inside. Is it not at least possible or even probable that one or a few honest, concerned DC Office “rank and file” members were occasionally one of the sources that aided the aforementioned investigators?

I can’t remember where I read this, but a Navy SEAL was applying to the FBI and was worried about the written test, one of those psychological profile tests with no “right” answers. He asked a fellow special forces friend who already passed it for advice. He told him, “Take your first natural response, then write the exact opposite of that.” He did and passed that test. That probably tells a lot about today’s FBI.

        Sure does.

I apply that same strategy to anything I hear or see on television, especially what counts as news or undisputed facts. When you *know* you are being brainwashed, it is wise to carefully consider the polar opposite of whatever is stated as fact. (Warning: This exercise is NOT for the faint of heart.)

I suspected I was being brainwashed way back in elementary school, so you can imagine what my life is like, having swum against the tide for most of it.

Sundance could be 100% correct as he often is, but if there is even one honest and dedicated person in that corrupt FBI section, he/she should be acknowledged. I suspect there are more than one and quite often all it takes is one person to make things right.

The MSM and all of social media will misdirect and block communication channels and those who control the access to money will disrupt as much as possible. The blog post touches on it briefly but the post Mueller phase is almost exclusively a Pelosi psychodrama. And, sadly for the nation, Pelosi is a dramatic psycho. The dramatic falloff of cognitive ability is front and center. A reliance on stock phrases, random/inappropriate laughter and a constant stream of magical thinking. She is almost certainly suffering from MS and/or Parkinsonism along with the ravages of many long years of drinking (on the public dime).

One thing rarely noted is that Pelosi and Schumer all but abandoned Obama in his second term. His crime? Hogging the spotlight – the worst offense on the books in DC. Obama’s detractors could have told them (accurately) years ago that he refused to share any stage lest his ego get crowded.

Back to the ego of Pelosi – losing the Speakership absolutely galled her and she blamed Obama. In her few interviews I have been able to watch without vomiting she mentions losing the gavel constantly. And now she can’t stop talking about retaining it. Truth be told, at this stage of life Pelosi would be happy with 434 Republican House members as long as she was Speaker.

Her tamping down of the hounds baying for impeachment is obviously an attempt to avoid political disaster but her motivations are even more personal – she doesn’t want to lose the gavel again. She looks as the eunuch Schumer with his glasses and his droning cold reads of staffer-penned talking points and dreads rejoining him in the irrelevancy of minority status.

This is the problem with The Game: you work with others along common lines, and people have to fill positions. When you rise a player far enough, you have to play the game to sustain your overall party power –

You cannot throw someone out if they have been playing the game, as well. You have to salute when they are run up the flagpole.

So, (D) preferring to play The Game got stuck with Hiraly as 2016 nominee.

And now they are stuck with Bite’ Em as Nominee.

And, they are stuck with Peligrosi – who would have been pitched out but she knows how The Game is played so she is still in place.

We have a collision course running. The (D) are not willing to get out of The Game. (R) are not, either, but Trump saw the way they set up The Game, and he walked right in.

Imagine Schumer without Pelosi in power. Pelosi has been an essential part of Schumer’s political strength and public influence in the national arena.

If Pelosi continues to deteriorate under the enormous pressures that are now building around the last three decades of overt political criminality, the entire Democrat leadership will come unwound and the vested insiders in the old regime will fall into chaos as the other party opportunists spin up a frenzy of ambition with only a fraction of the competence that Pelosi innately had but now seems to be rapidly losing as she visibly deteriorates.

She ain’t what she used to be.

We may too easily underappreciate the magnitude of the human event unfolding before us. This intensifying crucible is much bigger than politics. More individual than institutional.

Something of enormous human consequence is playing out in the swamp.

Our founders created an algorithm of law and institutional construction to filter out the inevitable pathologies that humans bring to government, ultimately causing corruption of first principles, authoritarianism and institutional malignancy. They could only hope it would stave off the inevitable for a generation or two. Somehow, it still works despite decades of being malignantly exploited by insider self-dealing and human criminality.

In the present crucible, we may be experiencing the greatest test yet of this brilliantly conceived, magnificent filter given to us by our founders. Our experiment in self-government continues.

The big squeeze is starting. The pressure is building and looks like it will going to be off the scale.

The filter will not fail. The balance will be enforced.

DC swamp rats are expendable to Deep State. There is always another crop of US politicians to bribe.

When President Trump walked out of the infrastructure meeting with Pelosi and Schumer last week, he was signaling that he will stand firm if the Democrats choose to impeach him. He was saying, in effect, “Go ahead. Make my day.”

It still remains true that impeachment is mostly a political act. The politics of this evolving situation mean that sooner or later, Nancy Pelosi must accede to the strong demands coming from the Democrat’s activist base to move forward with impeachment hearings.

If and when those formal hearings begin, the Democrats will focus on charges of obstruction of justice based upon their own unique interpretation of what constitutes corrupt intent on the part of the President in defending himself. The Spygate declassifications will be one important element of those charges of obstruction of justice.

In defending the president, the Republicans must focus on two basic points.

Point one, allegations that President Trump colluded with the Russians to steal the 2016 election are the predicate basis upon which any further allegations of misconduct must rest. According to the Mueller Report, the president did not collude with the Russians to steal the 2016 election.

Point two, if the Democrat’s unique interpretation of the law is applied to Donald Trump, then no future president who is ever falsely accused of wrongdoing can take any action whatsoever to defend himself against baseless charges without committing the crime of obstruction of justice.

A series of hearings in the House of Representatives examining the question of impeachment offer the perfect opportunity for focusing public attention on the abuses of Spygate.

Imagine that Admiral Mike Rogers testifies before the impeachment hearings and publicly confirms what we know went on with the illegal surveillance of Americans prior to and during his tenure at the NSA before he could put a stop to it. Imagine how the public might react to that testimony.

Imagine too seeing the Democrats engage in a savage personal attack on the Admiral’s character and on the performance of his duties while he was at the helm of the NSA. Those who follow the hearings closely will see right through this charade and will come to their own conclusions about who is, and who is not, honestly defending America’s constitutional democracy.

Am I the only one that remembers that one of Obama’s campaign promises was to investigate the Bush admin for crimes when he came into office? Sure it was based on the media making Bush look like the Devil even though he was a pawn for the left. If memory serves W passed every bill that came to his desk but one. But the fact remains the left was rabid about Obama investigating Bush. Why shouldn’t they be OK with Trump investigating Obama?

I think Barr read Mueller the riot act to close up shop and let Mueller’s team push the innuendo “evidence“, as he knew they would. The failure to indict might have called off the Demdogs in a sane world, but the follow up innuendo kept the insanity flame going and with it the lemmings continued in their walk right to the edge of the cliff in their push for impeachment. Then came the declass, the decision point. Walk off the cliff with impeachment proceedings in response to Trump’s act or hang up their hats. It’s a win win for PDT and America. There’s no cure for stupid. Make my day is exactly right. Or… Do you feel lucky, punk?

I wonder if there will come a time the democrat party “leaders” will come clean, disavow the coup against President Donald J. Trump and admit obama was the ringleader. If the term “wrong side of history” ever applied, this is it.

I think to turn American around, we have to indict Hillary on espionage charges a, and indict Kerry on the Logan act. We combat their treason with a zero tolerance policy. The dems have gotten away with so much for too long they think they are bullet proof. This thinking has to stop.

      Agree Joe.
. Both Clinton’s intell breach & kerry’s canoodling with Hamas/mullah .org are crimes which indisputably rise above partisan politics.

Also, prosecute the theoretically nonpartisan LE poseurs at DoJ right up the chain of command.
Such actions destroy our collective national security

All this does not matter. There is no way to spin being charged and convicted. One arrest they can spin two arrests maybe but once you get to a dozen or so it will be impossible to spin that in positive light. Plus the media is not what it use to be.

“The media is not what they used to be”

No. If you view many of the “Walk Away”
videos, there’s a common thread. What made
tons of people walk away was when they paid
attention to what was going on. Then hearing
the MSM accounts of it, and realizing that the
ones that they had trust forever for the news
      were lying through their teeth.

Each day, with their over reach, the media
manages to inadvertantly red pill yet another
person. It’s like the slap in the face one would
get when they see their spouse’s emails to
      someone they are cheating with.

  41. Think about it.
    Declass is declass is devastating.
As atrocities, irregularities and criminal acts pile one on other, what options do the Dems have?
Do they say “oh that’s selective there’s another document that reverses that?” that’s implausible.
They can screech retribution and refuse to address the ugly truth.
Or they can splinter, with some Dems throwing colleagues under the bus, others siding with Republican saying they never knew and the most guilty continuing to scream.

What about when it’s revealed that Senators, deep staters and Representatives from both parties were taking orders from Crown Agents? Won’t there be disgust on both sides of the aisle?

And the media, what about when it’s shown they knew Trump was innocent but worked together as an illegal cartel to breach competition and trade laws to advance lies in order to remove a President? What about when CEO’s are arrested on RICO charges?

The fighting seems heaviest in the moments before one side breaks and runs. Soon.

It’s really quite remarkable that not a SINGLE Democrat has objected to what the corrupt Obama Administration was doing. And that they have ZERO hesitation about trying to protect the corrupt FBI. Republicans would be falling all over each other trying to get to the bottom of it if the shoe were on the other foot.

Is President Trump’s impeachment in the House of Representatives now inevitable? If so, when does the process of his impeachment start in real earnest, a process which includes a clear yes/no decision endpoint? (Three months? Six months? Nine months? A year?)

If at some point an impeachment process has in fact been initiated — something which hasn’t happened yet, although things seem to be moving in that direction — can President Trump gain control of the impeachment narrative, and possibly even gain control of the impeachment process itself, using that control to influence the outcome of the 2020 elections?

  48. Trump should dare Nadler to demand the unredacted Mueller report while off the House floor and her is why. Revealing the unredacted would be a felony since the redacted portions reference grand jury testimony and releasing it would be a felony. Nadler can make those demands of the House floor where he is immune to arrest, but if he repeats it on the sidewalk he is extorting a felony and might be subject to arrest. I’d like to see him try it.
