President Obama’s 2016 Political Surveillance Coverup Had Two Parallel Tracks…

Everything after March 9th, 2016, is a function of two intelligence units, the CIA and FBI, operating together to coverup prior political surveillance and spy operations.

Prior to March 9th, 2016, the surveillance and spy operation was using the NSA database to track and monitor their political opposition.  However, once the NSA compliance officer began initiating an internal review of who was accessing the system, the CIA and FBI moved to create ex post facto justification for their endeavors. [Full Backstory]

The evidence for this is found in the documents attached to both operations; and bolsters the original statements by Congressman Devin Nunes as highlighted below.

The CIA track took place between March and July 2016, and consisted of using foreign intelligence allies in Italy, the U.K and Australia to create a background illusion of Russian involvement with the Trump campaign.  This operation was based on earlier -more innocuous- contacts from various countries, weaponized and redeployed in what everyone calls “spygate”.  This track successfully culminated in Operation Crossfire Hurricane.

The FBI track was domestic-centric, albeit sub-contracted to Fusion GPS and later a former British intelligence officer, and took place between April and October 2016; also to create the illusion of Russian involvement.  This operation is best known around the Steele Dossier and FISA warrant against U.S. person Carter Page.  The FBI track continued with the Mueller investigation into 2017, 2018 and 2019.

In April of 2018 Devin Nunes noted:

[Transcript] “So it took us a long time to actually get this, what’s called the electronic communication, as we know it now for your viewers, what it is it’s the original intelligence, original reasons that the counterintelligence was started.

Now this is really important to us because the counterintelligence investigation uses the tools of our intelligence services that are not supposed to be used on American citizens. And we’ve long wanted to know: what intelligence did you have that actually led to this investigation? So what we’ve found now, after the investigators have reviewed it, is that in fact there was no intelligence.

So we have a traditional partnership with what’s called the Five Eyes Agreement. Five Eyes Agreement involves our friends in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Canada, and of course, us. So long time processes and procedures in place where we move intelligence across.

We are not supposed to spy on each others’ citizens. And it’s worked well. And it continues to work well. And we know it’s working well because there was no intelligence that passed through the Five Eyes channels to our government.

And that’s why we had to see that original communication. So now we’re trying to figure out, as you know, we are investigating the State Department, we think there’s some major irregularities in the State Department, and we’re trying to figure out how this information about Mr. Papadopoulos of all people who was supposedly meeting with some folks in London, how that made it over across into the FBI’s hands.” (video link)

The direct evidence for what Devin Nunes is describing is found in two specific documents.  Each of the documents is unique to their track.  One track is the CIA the other track is the FBI.  The merging point that binds them is the U.S. State Department.

♦ First, we review the CIA track.

The evidence for the CIA track is found in the Weissmann-Mueller report.  More specifically, it is found in the intentional way the report tries to conflate two contact points.

This track is CIA Director John Brennan’s work, with enlisted help from the FBI counterintelligence unit (Peter Strzok and Bill Priestap) as they travel to the U.K.

After western intelligence asset Joseph Mifsud (posed as a Russian) plants a story on George Papadopoulos about Russia having “emails of Clinton”, the operation then needs Papadopoulos to share the information.  That’s where a joint network comes in.  The network is the U.S. embassy in London; the Australian embassy in London; the Australian Ambassador to the U.K. Alexander Downer; and his top aide Erika Thompson.

Notice page #89 of the report; but read carefully and specifically notice the date Weissmann and Mueller use to frame the Russia story extraction from Papadopoulos:

The meeting on May 6th, was NOT a meeting with Australian Ambassador Alexander Downer.  That meeting did not happen until May 10th.  The recent release of documents from Australia confirm this timeline.

The meeting on May 6th was between George Papadopoulos and Downer’s aide, Erika Thompson:  …”that the Trump campaign had received information from the Russian government that it could assist the campaign through the anonymous release of information that would be damaging to Hillary Clinton.”

So, if the U.S. used the information from the May 6, 2016, meeting as conveyed on July 26th, 2016, it was the conversation with Erika Thompson that opened Crossfire Hurricane; not the meeting with Alexander Downer on May 10th. {Go Deep}

This subtle but important distinction in contact and communication reconciles the statement by Devin Nunes; because Thompson is also a reported intelligence operative (spy) and information from her would not be passing through “Five Eyes” official channels.   However, for their intents and purposes, the U.S. operation needed to give the appearance of official channels, so the *inference* between the claim and the footnote *implies* Ambassador Downer.  But you can see that’s not actually what happened.

This is an example of Weissmann/Mueller disguising the actual origin in their report.  They are giving cover to the reality that unofficial intelligence was the actual basis for the originating “EC” or two-page electronic communication from CIA Director John Brennan to FBI Director James Comey. It was that 2-page EC, likely written by FBI counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok, that initiated “Crossfire Hurricane”.

The page in the Weissmann/Mueller report is factually true but the inference is false.  It is written in the way they intended, to give a false impression.  It is quite subtle and sneaky.

What is outlined on Page #89 is also the CIA track that ran from March to July 31st, 2016.

The operation positioned Joseph Mifsud as a Russian spy; has him plant information on George Papadopoulos; then uses U.S. and AU operatives to withdraw the information; thereby giving the appearance that a Trump campaign official, Papadopoulos, was receiving and passing-on Russian intelligence.  This is the CIA justification for creating the EC.  This is the CIA cover story.

Now let’s review the evidence of the FBI track and how it also connects to the U.S. State Department.  This one is more brutally obvious because the document had to be less ambiguous in construct.   This involves the FISA application on U.S. Person Carter Page.

♦ The FBI Track – The Steele Dossier, FISA Warrant and Carter Page.

The second page of the FISA application used to gain a Title-1 surveillance warrant against U.S. Carter Page identifies where the material came from.  Notice the direct attribution is to the State Department; not the DOJ or FBI, and certainly not Christopher Steele.

Applying hindsight to the backstory of the Clinton Campaign hiring Fusion GPS, and Fusion hiring Christopher Steele for the Dossier; and the dossier being passed on to the FBI and DOJ via various channels… Question: why would the DOJ be citing the State Department for their claim?

The answer is simple.  Carter Page was a known person to the FBI and DOJ.  Carter Page was a subject witness from 2012 to 2016 in the Evgeny Buryakov case [DOJ March 2016].  How could the FBI claim Carter Page was “an agent of a foreign power” to the FISA court in October 2016, when they only finished using him as a cooperating subject witness in May of 2016?  [DOJ May 2016]

The short answers are: (1) they couldn’t; (2) they were in a big hurry; there was a sense of urgency; they needed the FISA and Steele Dossier as insurance policy; and (3) it wasn’t safe for the DOJ/FBI to make the ‘foreign agent‘ claim against their own prior witness if things went sideways.

Remember, this is all a coverup.  Their efforts are about gaining position and appearances to justify a preceding action. Their efforts are not focused on an actual investigation. So they told the FISC the information came from the State Department and [Redacted]. Whichever source could give them the best legal justification to gain the FISA warrant was the leading point in the thought process.

Despite everything around the Steele Dossier primarily inbound from Fusion-GPS and Chris Steele to the DOJ and FBI, the people creating the FISA illusion needed to use the State Department as a valid reference for fraudulent claims they were making.

From the beginning Fusion-GPS was not hired to research Donald Trump; the intelligence community was already doing surveillance and spy operations. The intelligence community needed Fusion GPS to give them a plausible justification for already existing surveillance and spy operations.  Fusion created the dossier for them.

The FBI knew Carter Page.  Essentially Carter Page was irrelevant, what they needed was the FISA warrant and the Dossier in the system {Go Deep} as their insurance policy.

So there we see two parallel tracks; one from the CIA, and one from the FBI.  Both intended to provide a cover story for political surveillance and spy operations that preceded March 9, 2016. The CIA track created ‘crossfire hurricane’.  The FBI track created the Steele Dossier.  Both had the same purpose.

Both tracks originated from ‘unofficial channels’ and then transferred into official status through the use of two documents.  The CIA generated the two-page “EC”; and the FBI generated the FISA application from the Steele Dossier.

Both tracks held the same coverup purpose; both tracks were insurance policies; and both tracks merged for intelligence exploitation after President Trump won the election.  After the election the goal was shifted to remove the risk Trump represented.

Once they had the legal justifications for targeting Trump, albeit fraudulently obtained, the effort could move into phase three: by-the-book processes.  The FBI track evolved into the Mueller probe; that’s why the Dossier is so important to the validity of the special counsel.

Everything after March 9th, 2016, through today – is covering for everything that happened before March 9th when “contractors” were allowed by the FBI and DOJ to have weaponized access to the NSA database for political surveillance and spy operations.

This two-track process and ultimate merging is what all of the documentary evidence supports.  I suspect when the arc of the story concludes, this is where we will be.

The most important sentence in Judge Collyer’s brief:

…”many of these non-compliant queries involved the use of the same identifiers over different date ranges.”..

This Page #82 sentence specifically highlights that during the 2016 presidential campaign, those who had access to the NSA database were searching the same phone numbers, email addresses, electronic “identifiers”, or people, repeatedly over different dates.

Specific people were being tracked/monitored.

If “everything after March 9th, 2016, through today – is covering for everything that happened before March 9th when “contractors” were allowed by the FBI and DOJ to have weaponized access to the NSA database for political surveillance and spy operations.”

Doesn’t that beg the question how far back does this BEFORE Mar 9, 2016 weaponizing go??

And if this use of contractors to access and weaponize the NSA database was allowed by the FBI and DOJ, doesn’t that then beg the questions………….

Shouldn’t the real focus and digging now be on what happened BEFORE March 9, 2016?

And also who was in charge of the FBI and DOJ BEFORE Mar 9, 2016 during this period of the Obama Administration terms?

Wikipedia says that since 2001 the FBI had two Directors:
    Robert Mueller – Sep 2001 – Sep 2014
    James Comey – Sep 2014 – May 2017

The DOJ had two AG’s under Obama:
    Eric Holder – Feb 2009 – Apr 2015
    Loretta Lynch – Apr 2015 – Jan 2017

How ironic is it that both FBI Directors who led the FBI BEFORE Mar 9, 2016 also have played a key roles in the PT Russian investigation.

What are the chances of that happening? Hmmm………………………………

Sundance, please tell us, you are now digging into the period BEFORE Mar 9, 2016?

Reading through the above made me realize something.
Hillary does the same thing over and over, at various times.

Wasn’t particularly surprised when the deleted & stolen e-mails
got no traction ( except from our side). It’s a concept that hard
to put into words. The ramifications downwind of what can be
caused by the actions is hard to put into words that interest
          our undereducated, distracted public.

Hillary’s criminality needs to be re defined. In terms in what
her modus operandi is. What Hillary has done for 45 plus years
is basically hide or destroy evidence that doesn’t support
          the narrative for Hillary’s goals.

Hiding files during Watergate ( the only time she got caught)
Hiding the Rose Law Firm billing records.
          Having blackberries destroyed
          Bleachbitting incriminating evidence

Insert other , similar actions to above scenario.

          That’s round one.

Round two of Hillary is that if she isn’t hiding or
destroying inconvenient evidence, she’s spying on
          people to blackmail them

Filegate being the prime example. Perhaps others
can add additional instances she can be directly tied
          to.

Round three of Hillary is that she likes to frame
          people that are inconvenient.

Travelgate is the prime example here. It
can be tied directly to her. Since then, she’s gotten
better at covering her tracks. Minions like
Comey and McCabe assist her in her efforts.

Round 4 is that she often combines hiding
or destroying evidence, spying on people, and
framing them. Spygate would be the example here.

Break down what Hillary does. In digestible bits.
Give examples of hiding and destroying evidence.
Then, give examples of Hillary spying/blackmailing.
Follow up with framing people examples.
Finally, do examples of when she has combined
          all of the above.

Show examples of her deeds. In a 4 step process.
People can catch on better when they realize what
types of occurences happen around someone that’s a
          convincing serial liar.

Such a table would provide readers with a concept of the scope and scale of the abuses, and reinforce the fact that there was a conspiracy to abuse the 702 database for political gain.

Data concerning who queried what information and when, using which search parameters, has to exist inside the 702 database query system. Otherwise Admiral Rogers and his staff could not have performed the audit.

The next question to be asked concerns where specifically the query results went after they were extracted.

If abuse of the NSA database for political gain is suspected, will it be possible to identify which second and third parties might have received the extracted information; and to determine how, and by whom, it was being transmitted inside and outside of the US Government?

Sundance this is an interesting and I think valid insight into why AG Barr decided to opine on “spying’ before the Senate. There are seldom instances where top level lawyers elect to use words in testimony without consideration.

Barr is likely concerned and investigating Adm. Rogers testimony. The manner in which Brennan went after Rogers and then sought his NSA resignation indicates something untowards.

Barr might ask you to join hand selected team.

Her name appeared in hundreds of unmasking requests in a short period of time. She testified under oath before Congress that while her name had been used, she didn’t make the unmasking requests herself, and somebody must have used her name. I never understood why this wasn’t investigated immediately. Seems pretty clear it was an FBI/CIA contractor using Powers name…maybe Nellie Ohr?

I’d be willing to bet a bag of donuts that the weaponization of Obama’s IRS goes back to 2010-2011, when Lois Lerner was specifically denying 501(c)4 tax exemption status to any ‘Tea Party Group’, or any Conservative group, in general.

The Obama Administration spied on Congressional Representatives, U.S. Senators (Remember DiFi being pi$$ed off about it?); media reporters (James Rosen, Sharyl Attkisson); foreign leaders such as Angela Merkel (Chancellor of Germany); and I’d also bet that Judges (SCJ John Roberts), citizen Donald J Trump (2011, Correspondents’ Annual Dinner), after DJT proclaimed his ‘birther’ belief; state and local politicians (Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who explored the ‘birther issue’) have all also been the victims of Obama’s spy-lust.

By the time the 2016 elections rolled around, Obama’s CIA and FBI were ‘old pros’ at spying on any adversary that Obama commanded them to. After all, Hillary was supposed to win…

Psychopathy is traditionally a personality disorder characterized by persistent antisocial behavior, impaired empathy and remorse, and bold, disinhibited, and egotistical traits.
It has often been considered untreatable.

          Characteristics
          1. Boldness. Low fear including stress-tolerance, toleration of unfamiliarity and danger, and high self-confidence and social assertiveness
          2. Disinhibition. Poor impulse control including problems with planning and foresight, lacking affect and urge control, demand for immediate gratification, and poor behavioral restraints.
          3. Meanness. Lacking empathy and close attachments with others, disdain of close attachments, use of cruelty to gain empowerment, exploitative tendencies, defiance of authority, and destructive excitement seeking.
4, extensive callous and manipulative self-serving behaviors with no regard for others, and often is associated with repeated delinquency, crime and violence.
          5. MENTAL IMPAIRMENTS have been found in those with the disorder which suggest that their destructive social behavior is borne from these aberrant mental processes.
          6. associated with organized crime, economic crime and war crimes. Terrorists are sometimes considered psychopathic, and comparisons may be drawn with traits such as antisocial violence, a selfish world view that precludes the welfare of others, a lack of remorse or guilt, and blaming others for the own activities.
          7. people with the disorder are socially successful and tend to express their antisocial behavior through more covert ways: social manipulation or white collar crime.

Its about time for him to put on his big boy pants, and end the travesty/fiasco that has been the Gen. Flynn LYNCHING.

Dismiss all charges, sanction prosecution and make reccomendation to Bar association to pull licences to practice, and referrals to DOJ.

Which leads to a question; can/will Mueller team go to jail? They are exempt from civil liability, IIRC.

But, can it be proven, in court, with ADMISSABLE evidence, that Mueller team violated the law?

We all KNOW what they did, but can it be proven, and what would the charges be?

  6. In the context of indicting and convicting the plotters, the fact remains that neither the CIA nor FBI tracks actually cover up the illegal collusion, between the FBI and Fusion-GPS, with the “data queries” process, between November 2015 and April 18, 2016. Both tracks are after that, and involve “evidence” that only took place after that, and are openly known as being after that illegal “weaponized political” FISA runaround by the FBI in collusion with Fusion. I have commented on this several times here recently.

Sundance emphasizes that the CIA track started in March 2016 (while the FISA runaround lasted until April 18 2016, so a little overlap), but the reality is that all that I have yet seen happening in March 2016 in the context of spying on the Trump campaign, is the use of Papadopoulos as a plant within the campaign. Researcher Ashton Gray wrote about Papadopoulos, and summarized

    https://chaletbooks.com/chaletreports/?p=2644:

“Please note very carefully that everything Papadopoulos was doing in actual evidence was manufacturing a prominent paper trail to other members of the Trump campaign urging, prompting, suggesting, promoting meetings and coordination with Russians—and even using someone who was a total fraud, Olga Polonskaya, to do it.

“Why the hell didn’t George Papadopoulos go to any computer and do a 10-second (with coffee break included) internet search to discover that Vladimir Putin didn’t have any such niece? Why the hell didn’t he tell anybody connected with the Trump campaign at the time that this woman supposedly was Putin’s niece? Because any honest and responsible member of the campaign would have done due diligence and checked into it—and that would have shredded the CIA-scripted fiction George Papadopoulos was carefully constructing in order to entrap and frame Donald Trump and his campaign. That’s why. That’s the only reason why.

“There is not one fingernail-clipping-sized scrap of actual evidence anywhere in existence that anyone in the Trump campaign solicited, or asked for, or urged, or even suggested that Papadopoulos do anything at all in relation to Russia. In fact, every such claim has been contradicted (yet one more classic CIA psyop in all of this). The only actual evidence is that the campaign officials ignored or actively dissuaded Papadopoulos in his “muh Russia” frenzy, and even refused to reimburse him financially for his activities. Every bit of it was gratuitously manufactured, with malice aforethought, by Papadopoulos and his Deep State pals.”

In other words, as a cover-up, the machinations surrounding Papadopoulos are an utter failure; they don’t cover up anything, and certainly none of the earlier FISA 702 “querying” by Fusion-GPS/Nellie Ohr.

So, again, I don’t see either the CIA or the FBI tracks as cover-ups of the earlier sedition/treason. They were incremental aggressions, increasingly forceful attacks. As Sundance himself wrote on January 11, 2018, the Steele dossier was “plan B”, after “plan A” of the FISA runaround was put down by NSA Director Adm. Mike Rogers on April 18, 2016 (…which, by the way, is Rogers related to Huber?…both have been nonexistent since they initially came into the story as champions of justice; someone needs to pry them out of the woodwork…and slap them silly, for toying with our affections).

    • Good points, but Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs . . . personal/career/family safety (CYA) is a higher priority than ideological/partisan “aggression,” even when the aggression is coming from hard-core ideologues. As you note, the conspirators did a poor job in covering up their Deep State crimes, which suggests desperation and sloppiness. I would suggest that fear tends to make us sloppier and more desperate than aggression, which tends to be more calculating, especially since these acts of aggression were not spontaneous.

Scumbag leftist ideologues like Brennan, Hillary, Lynch, Holder, Strzok, Mueller, Weissman, et al have been viciously aggressive toward their ideological and partisan opponents for most of their careers, while mostly avoiding any exposure for their behavior, with a few exceptions (e.g., Weissman). And they were obviously never going to suffer any consequences for the aggression because they play on Team Social Justice.

The difference this time was that they were at much higher risk of exposure, which is in progress as we type. Whether they face consequences in addition to exposure is yet to be determined. But on something this big, you better believe that they very much feared exposure even if no criminal consequences ever come their ways.

I also think that the individual risk is much more personal and targeted to the specific individuals. The internal controls that protect us from spying were in place and worked. The fact that they chose to ignore them because they thought Hillary would win and they would never be held accountable is now irrelevant. The charge is treason, or sedition if you prefer. And not just for the actual spying. Remember, the spying is overlapping the Uranium One scandal, the home brewed server that may have been acting as a dead-drop for selling classified information, the Awan brothers, Seth Rich, etc., etc Not to mention human trafficking in Haiti, the Podesta and Weiner “issues” and all of MANY other crimes.

That is why Hillary freaked out at Matt L. She’s not stupid. She suddenly realized it was possible she might not win and understood exactly what that meant.

Easier to take George essentially at his word (discounting for some 28 year-old ego inflation), understanding that spying is not an end in itself, but a means. And the means GP was seemingly put to seems credible to me: 1.) taint him as a Russian operative with anti-Hillary motive and means; 2.) connect his fabricated “Russian” objectives with the Trump campaign; 3.) gain infotmation about and channel warnings to the Trump campaign regarding Obama policies thought to be at risk (the TPP, Israeli natural gas impact and other ME policy.)

In other words, it’s possible to view GP’s being used in part to cover up other illicit activity (the NSA data base intrusions), but also for the purposes described above.

If you remember the Clintons are involved, then this all makes more sense. Servergate was under active investigation since December of 2014. It was all but forgotten, by the media, until it was revived in March of 2015, during the the Benghazi hearings. The FBI received a referral for investigation in July of 2015, reference HRC’s email server. In March of 2016, the FBI increased the number of investigators on the case from 12 to 30. As the number of potential classified documents violations built up, Comey began drafting a covering document to exonerate HRC. This is also the reported beginning of the CIA/FBI/DOJ/HRC “insurance program”, which SD lays out above. As the Servergate rhetoric only increases, from the Trump Campaign, WJC meets with Loretta Lynch in Phoenix on June, 27, 2016. July 01, 2016, Lynch publicly states that she will accept whatever recommendation career prosecutors and the FBI Director make, with regard to Servergate. July 05, Comey announces that HRC will not be prosecuted. The insurance policy is in full swing, by this time. It continues in the unlikely event HRC loses the election to DJT. Then, the Servergate controversy heats up in October, 2016, with the revelation of the Weiner Laptop. The insurance policy, still running, is now expanded, to allow for attacks upon Trump, and his administration, should he win the election. Also, plans are made to use leaks of classified material and unmasking to further attack the incoming administration.

Yes, the insurance policy does provide cover for the illegal use of surveillance technology by the Obama Administration. It does protect high ranking members of that same administration against immediate criminal charges. But, the timeline suggests that it was potential legal problems for HRC which precipitated the action. When you follow the threads to all of the players involved in the workings of the insurance policy, most of them connect to HRC, either directly or through the Clinton Foundation. And, that suggests that the Clintons had an inordinate amount of influence over a very wide swath of the power structure in the West. One wonders; why?

It is easy to zero in on one part of this thing and miss others. There are multiple tracks and layers. And, they all tangle and intersect. I see HRC as the key to unraveling all of this.

I’ll take a stab at this. Since Erika Thompson was known to be a spy then her having contact with Papadopolous is problematic because it contravenes the Five Eyes agreement not to spy on each others citizens. Downer a putative diplomat being the conduit for derogatory information on Papadopolous is less problematic although his running it through State and diplomatic channels instead of intelligence channels has also been pointed out as being unorthodox. The other subtle difference is that Erika Thompson is the one who says that Papadopolous told her the Russians had Clinton emails while Downer said that Papadopolous told him the Russians had dirt on Clinton. Recall that Downer felt the need to come out and publicly state that Papadopolous did not mention emails just dirt.

Because it shows that the whole episode was a contrived set-up, designed to introduce false evidence (that P and therefore Trump were colluding with the Russians against Hillary) through “official channels”.

For the girlfriend of a minor Israeli spy/diplomat to report a conversation with a minor Trump campaign figure would have no gravitas or traction.

But the routine aides memoir of an Australian High Commissioner are reviewed by the Australian IC, which passes along items of interest to the US IC. Downer knows people in the US State Dept; they take his calls and listen.

Erika was sent as a scout to set up P to meet with Downer so Downer could pretend to be the source. Contrary to early leaks it wasn’t an accidental meeting, and Downer maintains that Hillary’s emails were NOT discussed in his 5-10-16 conversation with P. So his report is a “composite”, with the only thing of relevance to HRC coming from Erika Thompson.

June 12 Assange says WikiLeaks will publish documents on the Hillary campaign
June 14/15 Crowdstrike/WaPo claim that the DNC servers have been hacked by Fancy Bear / APT29

June or July 2016 : Eric Thompson tells a friend from the US embassy in Londen (probably over cocktails at some party), that she THINKS that she was told about ‘those’ emails by some guy (PapaD) from the Trump campaign.
The implication she gives (or her memory) is that the emails allegedly mentioned by PapaD on May 6th are in fact NOT the Hillary emails but may in fact be the ones from PODESTA or even the DNC (i.e. that he had (fore)knowledge of the DNC hack).
[Note the 2nd is not even possible, the DNC emails were exfiltrated between 19 and 25 May 2016, in multiple retrievals]

Some time later the embassy forwards this information to the State Department in the US, which forwards the information at some point in time to the FBI.

Hence: no actual intelligence and not via official channels.

“there was no intelligence that passed through the Five Eyes channels”

TECHNICALLY correct as the following did NOT flow through usual Five Eyes “channels,” it bypassed them:

British spies were first to spot Trump team’s links with Russia
Exclusive: GCHQ is said to have alerted US agencies after becoming aware of contacts in 2015

    https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2017/apr/13/british-spies-first-to-spot-trump-team-links-russia

GCHQ first became aware in late 2015 of suspicious “interactions” between figures connected to Trump and known or suspected Russian agents, a source close to UK intelligence said. This intelligence was passed to the US as part of a routine exchange of information, they added.

Over the next six months, until summer 2016, a number of western agencies shared further information on contacts between Trump’s inner circle and Russians, sources said.

The European countries that passed on electronic intelligence – known as sigint – included Germany, Estonia and Poland. Australia, a member of the “Five Eyes” spying alliance that also includes the US, UK, Canada and New Zealand, also relayed material, one source said.

Another source suggested the Dutch and the French spy agency, the General Directorate for External Security or DGSE, were contributors.

It is understood that GCHQ was at no point carrying out a targeted operation against Trump or his team or proactively seeking information. The alleged conversations were picked up by chance as part of routine surveillance of Russian intelligence assets. Over several months, different agencies targeting the same people began to see a pattern of connections that were flagged to intelligence officials in the US.

According to one account, GCHQ’s then head, Robert Hannigan, passed material in summer 2016 to the CIA chief, John Brennan. The matter was deemed so sensitive it was handled at “director level”. After an initially slow start, Brennan used GCHQ information and intelligence from other partners to launch a major inter-agency investigation.

In late August and September Brennan gave a series of classified briefings to the Gang of Eight, the top-ranking Democratic and Republican leaders in the House and Senate. He told them the agency had evidence the Kremlin might be trying to help Trump to win the presidency, the New York Times reported.

One person familiar with the matter said Brennan did not reveal sources but made reference to the fact that America’s intelligence allies had provided information. Trump subsequently learned of GCHQ’s role, the person said.

        You just don’t get it.

Yes, there was no collusion – MEANING THAT THE FIVE EYES INTERCEPTS WERE BOGUS, NOT THAT THEY DIDN’T EXIST!!!

Yes, “the State Department / FBI / CIA were using foreign intelligence services to launder lies,” but how did it all get started? Via a Russian “poison pill” meant to lead to the political and cultural disruption we are today experiencing in spades. Their crap was EAGERLY sucked up by people at the DOJ/FBI/CIA who WANTED to believe it and they therefore USED it.

On comm channels the Russians knew or suspected were Five Eyes monitored, the disinformation method begins:

Boris: Did [trump related person or persons] accept the deal?
        Natasha: Yes, enthusiastically.

As Dan Bongino has said, via director-to-director meetings as described in the article above, the intel BYPASSED the normal filters which would have identified it as a likely disinformation “poison pill.” I’ve now read and heard TWO western intel PROFESSIONALS describing exactly that. It BEGAN as a Russian disinformation campaign which was later fleshed out with MORE Russian-sourced garbage in the Steele dossier for which they were even PAID.

Good point. If you can’t verify the information that you are collecting, you have to assume it is disinformation, and thus it cannot be used in an application for a warrant. Also, parts of the Dossier were demonstrably untrue – the Michel Cohen in Prague assertion for instance. If this had been properly vetted as being false, then the credibility of the entire document is called in question.

All this amounts to criminal negligence on the part of the FBI, and claims of being duped by misinformation is not exculpatory.

To add my point, I didn’t mean to suggest that I agreed that Russian disinformation kicked off Spygate. Rather, it appears that British and Australian disinformation kicked off Spygate, and it is possible that Brennan was duped – at least initially. But he wanted to believe it, he really wanted to believe it. As did the FBI. There was, at the very least, willful blindness on the part of the CIA/FBI, tantamount to criminal negligence. Was Brennan in on the Russian Collusion hoax from its inception? Maybe. We don’t know yet.

It is quite possible that the Mifsud entrapment operation against Papadopoulos was entirely a British ploy to get the CIA/FBI involved in the hoax. And, of course, the Australians played their crucial role in the hoax with the Erica Thompson/Downer dangle operation against PapaD which led directly to Crossfire Hurricane.

The Dossier, primarily written by British operative Steele, was almost entirely fiction (British, not Russian disinformation) designed to further the hoax and give it legs. But the Brits and Steele were counting on the Dossier to get more play in the American media in hopes it would destroy Trump’s candidacy. It didn’t happen because the Dossier was too absurd, too far-fetched.

It was only after Trump was unexpectedly elected that extreme TDS infected the media and the Obama Administration inducing them to legitimize “Russian Collusion” in an all out attempt to take Trump down by any means necessary.

That could easily be correct since the massively corrupt Hillary et al was a known quantity to them. However, that is part of the beauty for the Russians in sending a poison pill. They’d win regardless of who won the election.

If Clinton won she was a known to them corrupt individual they could blackmail in office and from previous deals they knew she’d cooperate. Also, their poison pill effort would never be discovered.

However, if Trump won, they knew the corrupt Deep State ass covering would begin, tearing the US apart and hampering Trump, the unknown quantity.

This begs the question: If Hillary had won the election, as expected, what would have been the risks, if any, to the corrupt Deep State actors who had been involved in the spying? Were they erring on the side of caution . . . i.e., Peter Strzok’s comment ““It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40.” Or was there a small degree of risk even if Hillary had won?

If she were elected, perhaps Hillary’s legal baggage would still be viewed as a liability by the deep state.

There must have been some mutually assured destruction scenario between the Clinton and Obama camps. Otherwise, given all Hillarys negatives, she wouldn’t even have been the candidate. Given her temperament and prior beat downs by the Obamanites, I doubt deep state was enthusiastic about her becoming president.

The initiation of the CIA and FBI cover ups and Trump frame ups so early in 2016 indicates an extremely low confidence in Hillary, and may even suggest that the intent of a President Trump takedown could have been preferred over a Hillary presidency. I know, it seems far fetched. What kind of arrogance would it take to even consider the possibility of pulling off such a scheme?

But the DNC leaks, the portrayal of Podsta and DNC leaders as inept and incompetent with regards to digital communication, and the refusal to allow FBI to examine DNC servers has always seemed suspicious. I mean the FBI was already in cahoots with the Clinton camp. It seems there was an attempt to undermine Hillary, and the Weissmann Mueller report proves it wasn’t the Trump campaign.

The fact that British and Australian spies were pushing in and pulling out info to and from Papa D shows that this was a CIA operation organized by Brennan. He couldn’t tell CIA agents to spy on an American political campaign, so he enlisted his counterparts in Britain and Australia to do his dirty work.

British and Australian spies forwarded their results to their ambassadors, who forwarded them to the State Department, who forwarded them to the FBI. It’s a process called “information laundering” which is very similar to “money laundering.” Both are designed to disguise illegal sources.

My explanation for Friedman going rogue on the Wall: Friedman genuinely believes in the idea of (“progressive”) “comprehensive immigration reform” (CIR) and that the Uniparty also actually wants CIR. In reality, the Uniparty is heavily invested in the status-quo, which maximizes the flow of cheap labor, both via illegal aliens and through visa-permitted indentured servants. It’s just that their achievements were SAT scores, college research papers, landing prestigious jobs, and getting promoted to the highest levels of government. Oddly, the merits and accomplishments that made these meritocrats fabulously wealthy and earned them high honors never seem to relate to actual outcomes in the real world. If their government agencies supposedly exist to promote the welfare of the American people, or to protect Americans from terrorism, etc., how specifically have We, the People benefited from their meritocratic regimes?

These supposed meritocrats are divorced from reality – by design. So when the curtain gets pulled back on them, they’re naturally going to look like fools. But most of these fools do technically have I.Q.s and would have succeeded in a different era under a better culture of excellence.

Hussein and Jarrett took them to Chicago storing them in a rented storage space. Naturally our military retrieved them via their raid.

I look at this Mueller report as the fable it is twisting the truth mixed in with fiction. There are outright lies, falsehoods and make-belief that make your head spin.

When I think about it president Trump was sabotaged and sandbagged from the start by Rosenstein, McGahn and Priebus. It involved the firing of Comey and the termination letter dictated by president Trump and Steven Miller. The president insisted that it be documented that Comey three times assured the president not to be under investigation privately while refusing to state so publicly. Rosenstein of course ignored the president’s concerns and made it about the handling of HRC’s emails – contrary the president’s wishes.
That should have sent red flags and as it turns out Rosenstein in tandem with Mueller acted as roadblocks throughout and deny the president concentrating of the people’s business. If that weren’t enough they intentionally stretched it past the 2018 midterms that lost the house for republicans. Ryan and the NeverTrump cult helped right along.

Mueller et al knew in 2017 that there was no collusion although Rosenstein targeted the president from the start and far beyond collusion.

If it weren’t for DOJ Barr – they would continue on. Rosenstein’s body language during Barr’s press briefing told us all because in his mind he replayed “I wish you all would know how bad it really is” ergo Rosenstein has a sealed indictment with his name followed by his co-conspirator Mueller also having one. They both were involved in the uranium one saga and then some.

Lastly going back to the servers of the DNC: Think about it the FBI didn’t need to look at the servers because they know it wasn’t hacked. They knew that it was an inside job that spilled the beans or rather a whistleblower exposing the corruption of the DNC, HRC and the rest.

A limited immunity deal was agreed upon for Julian Assange/WikiLeaks to testify. Comey on behalf of the gang of eight cancelled that deal ergo not even Mueller had any interest in what Julian Assange had to say. Isn’t it strange how the man who could clear up the Russian collusion with just two words was ignored?

This morning I came across this report: The NSA has 32 pages of conversation between Seth Rich and Julian Assange. It is categorized as the highest and beyond top secret classification.
    You can find it on

    http://www.medium.com.

Is it any wonder that Admiral Mike Rogers assured that nobody can get their hands on these pages providing even more patriotic services?

@Sundance I really admire you wading through these labyrinths of deception, lies, half truths and misinformation. As I repeatedly noticed and stated – not even the smallest detail is overlooked or escapes you.
When all this is done you really should write the novel titled: “TREASON”: The attempted coup of a president.

Rosenstein’s appointment of Mueller as special counsel under the justification of Comey’s termination is proof positive that Rosenstein is a RAT and was in on the whole frame-up of President Trump. Rosenstein wrote the memo to AG Sessions justifying the firing! AG Sessions even advised President Trump to fire Comey on his first day in office! This is nothing more than reverse engineering at its best (or worst). It’s the tail wagging the dog!

We need the Senate to subpoena the NSA, CIA, FBI, DOJ – and the five eyes agencies – for the names of all people who were monitored related to this coverup. How many citizens and who were they? How many queries? How much data was gathered? How many emails, phone calls, text messages, and any other surveillance. When did it start? Who was involved in making the queries, receiving, sharing, discussing and using the results: What was done with the information? Did that information get published elsewhere? Shared with media? Shared within the departments? Let’s expose the true depth and breadth of the corruption and illegal surveillance. These people need jail time and full exposure. Sunlight sundance!

There’s an unanswered aspect to this. Unless I’m missing something (and I’m thereby stating the obvious), it appears that multiple US agencies were aware that the DNC had been hacked, and that a trove of e-mails had been stolen. If I’m understanding Nunes correctly, there is no originating foreign intelligence that tipped US intelligence off to this or that could corroborate it.

All of this raises a question for me, which I think has been largely unanswered up until this point: HOW did the IC learn of the stolen e-mails? They seemed to know that a WikiLeaks release was coming because they got out in front of it.

Never let a good crisis go to waste. Here’s an idea… As part of their plea agreement, convicted members of the coup must agree to a nationwide press conference during which, they confess their crimes, including how they colluded with the media to damage the President. Such an event may very well be the only opportunity to once and for all demonstrate that the MSM is indeed an enemy of the people. OK… that’s my happy (& wishful) thought for the day.

      hardworking;
You got the right idea, but the system is already in place.
In ANY plea agreement, with a guilty plea is the requirement that ghe defendant stand up in court, publically, and ADMIT to the crime and their role in it.

They can NOT say “I am admitting to this and such crime, even though I didn’t really DO it!” or the Judge will refuse to accept the agreement.

Beyond court T.V., the Watergate hearings establish the model. Prosecutors, working in s coordinated fashion with the joint committee staffs, schedule the Defendants to testify to Congress and the American people, with LIMITED immunity (so they can’t plead the 5th) and have to answer ALL questions posed to them.
The immunity ONLY applies to testimony of crimes admitted to in their testimony before Congress, which are things they have already plex guilty to.

Hence the close coordination, so the defendants can NOT use their limited immunity as a ‘get out of jail free’ card.

Regardless of suspiscions that W.G. was a set up, it demonstrates the system used “correctly”, whereas the recent Cohen testimony fiasco is a clear example of it being (deliberately) bungled.

This is mildly interesting, I suppose, as a sort of freak-show curiosity, but the TRUTH is that nothing will be done. Nothing. Not now; not later; not ev-ah. The law is whatever the enforcers of the law SAY it is–in any given case at any given time. And that is ALL the law is or ever has been. And if there is no will to enforce the law, then there is no law. SO NOTHING is going to be done about ANY of this ev-ah. Hell, when The Donald PROMISED that he would declassify those docs within a week or so of that promise, foreign gov’ts said, “NO!” so he acquiesced instantly and hasn’t mentioned it since. He doesn’t want any of these details to come out. Nobody does except us, and we don’t count, so nothing will be done. Nothing. The corruption is TERMINAL.

The point is that Trump simply decided to declass AFTER the mueller report was released, to avoid giving obstruction ammo. And that also avoids interfering with the IG and Huber investigations. Something will be done this time.

    • mb says:

Relax, if he declassified them then, the Dems would use it as evidence of obstruction and their gravity would be lost in the mosh. Trump has outright said he is waiting for the time to release them of maximum impact. Thats seems entirely reasonable when the entire media is lined up to gaslight the country. When everything comes out at once and it cant die the death of a thousand cuts, something might actually happen.

      Liked by 1 person

      • Mr Darcy says:

Then you believe that what is in those never-to-be-declassified docs is incontrovertible evidence of Trump’s guilt of something or other? Right? Otherwise, how could his publication of the docs at the time of his PROIMISE have been used by the Democrats–or indeed by anybody at all–as “evidence” of “obstruction”? Obstruction of what? Something that the declassified documents would have shown AT THAT TIME did not ever even happen? That doesn’t even make sense, although I’ll grant you that they would have tried it. You’re right about that. They are rabid enough, and they know that most people are stupid enough to have been unable to figure out that you can’t obstruct an investigation into something that the evidence shows never even happened. And those people can vote, which is precisely why we are in the state we are now in. Anyway, it’s all moot: There is no law; nothing is going to be done now or ever, and the corruption is terminal.

Joe diGenova said there are criminal REFERRALS coming out from an investigation of Comey in the next two weeks. I would think that excludes anything Huber is (allegedly) doing, as he would present indictments, not referrals (he’d be referring to himself, he’s the prosecutor). So that pretty much has to be something Horowitz has been working on separate from the FISA investigation, or something out of Congress. Odd, but very interesting.
