While the Russians were supposedly attacking our election, Obama chose to exploit it to his advantage by framing Trump. Instead of using the intelligence agencies to stop Russia, he used them to aid and abet Russia while framing Trump. This fits so well with Obama’s pattern of never letting a crisis go to waste.

Obama never solved a single problem. All he did was make them worse and exploit them.

FBI arrests leader of armed group stopping migrants in New Mexico

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/fbi-arrests-leader-u-patriots-stopping-migrants-border-003433598.html

TAOS, N.M. (Reuters) – The FBI on Saturday said it had arrested Larry Hopkins, the leader of an armed group that is stopping undocumented migrants after they cross the U.S.-Mexico border into New Mexico.

The arrest came two days after the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) accused the group of illegally detaining migrants and New Mexico’s Democratic Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham ordered an investigation.

Hopkins, 69, also known as Johnny Horton, was arrested in Sunland Park, New Mexico, on a federal complaint charging him with being a felon in possession of firearms and ammunition, the Federal Bureau of Investigation said in a statement.

“We’re not worried about it, he’s going to be cleared,” said Jim Benvie, a spokesman for the United Constitutional Patriots (UCP), blaming his arrest on political pressure from Lujan Grisham.

Hopkins is the “national commander” of the UCP, which has had around half a dozen members camped out on a rotating basis near Sunland Park since late February.

    PATRIOTS OR FASCISTS?

The UCP describes itself as a “patriot group” helping U.S. Border Patrol cope with record numbers of Central American families crossing the border to seek asylum.

Dressed in camouflage and carrying rifles, UCP members have helped U.S. Border Patrol detain over 5,600 migrants in the last two months, Benvie said. Videos posted online by the group show members telling migrants to stop, sit down, and wait for agents to arrive. Critics accuse the UCP of impersonating law enforcement.

Crowdfunding sites PayPal and GoFundMe on Friday barred the group, citing policies not to promote hate or violence, after the ACLU called the UCP a “fascist militia.”

“Today’s arrest by the FBI indicates clearly that the rule of law should be in the hands of trained law enforcement officials, not armed vigilantes,” New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas said in a statement of Hopkins’s arrest.

Hopkins was previously arrested in Oregon in 2006 on suspicion of impersonating a police officer and being a felon in possession of a firearm, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center.

    NO STANDOFFS

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) said in a statement it did not support citizens taking law enforcement into their own hands and instead encouraged the public to be its eyes and ears on the border.

Benvie said the UCP was doing just that and had the support of local Border Patrol and police.

Mostly military veterans, UCP members carry weapons for self defense and at no time pointed guns at migrants, as they have been accused of, Benvie said.

Despite having funding sources cut off, Benvie said the group’s online support had swelled since it came under attack this week. Its Facebook followers have more than doubled since Thursday.

Asked what the group would do if told to leave by state police, Benvie said they would probably go and, if they felt the order violated their constitutional rights, sue the state of New Mexico.

“There’s not going to be any standoffs, this isn’t the Bundy Ranch,” Benvie said, in reference to a 2014 armed confrontation in Nevada.

FTA “U.S. District Court Judge Brian Morris ruled that the Trump administration illegally overturned a moratorium placed on coal mining on federal lands by former President Barack Obama. Obama instated the policy in 2016 as part of his administration’s environmental agenda to cut coal usage…“Federal Defendants’ decision not to initiate the [National Environmental Policy Act] process proves arbitrary and capricious,” Morris, who was nominated to the federal bench by Obama in 2013, wrote in his decision…The courts themselves have put up some of the stiffest resistance to the Trump administration’s policies. A federal judge in Alaska struck down two different Trump administration acts in March.”

U.S. District Court Judge Sharon Gleason appointed by obama is the Federal Judge who struck down President Donald Trump’s attempt to open vast areas of the Arctic and Atlantic oceans to oil and gas leasing. As Sundance would say “see how this works” all these obama appointed Federal Judges were installed to stop any EO of a Republican President! The EOs of obama can’t be overturned by President Trump’s EOs! All of obama appointed Federal Judges need to be impeached short of that just ignored!

I just happened upon this blog and found some fascinating detective work in regards to the “Dossier Team”. This section is particularly interesting:

    Computer and Communication Network

In 2016, Fusion GPS and Orbis had a pretty sophisticated computer and a communications networks, far beyond what one would expect to find in large law firm or even a bank. They spent a lot of time and money setting up a DoD 8570 and NIST SP 800-37, 39, 53, 53A grade environment, which included among other things:

High-end security equipment like Cisco FirePOWER ASA appliances
High-end networking equipment like Cisco Catalyst managed switches
Multi-layered security and authentication using tokens and VPN
    Multiple subnetted segments
    Central configuration and patch management
    Policy based user ACL
    Development, test, and production environments
    An IDS
    An air-gapped file storage

The complexity of this network (see table below) and some of the artifacts found on it (such as the NISPOM manual) suggests that this was due to some external mandate rather than by choice. Considering the fact that Fusion GPS was not a regulated service provider, it begs the question of who was responsible for such a directive.

So the Mueller report makes a decent (not particularly absolute but decent) case that Guccifer 2.0 leaked the DNC emails to Wikileaks if I’ve remembered their summary correctly. What is less convincing is that it was a GRU operation. None of the tactics or operations were particularly complex. For a state run actor I would expect them to do something more than a reasonably technical person could do after some basic research.

The thing I find most inexplicable is this GRU agent or team actually as they describe them took the time to develop an online relationship with a porn start was it? There was a story about the woman who had a long term online relationship with Guccifer 2.0. It had nothing to do with the hacks and by all appearances was simply a guy doing what guys do. Does that sound like a crack team of state sponsored hackers and intelligence operatives?

I have yet to see a message of “solidarity” or “sympathy” for the victims and their families of this massacre from ILHAN OMAR, RASHIDA TLAIB, or CAIR.
Koran: 8:12: “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve.”
Koran: 3:151: “Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers…”
Koran: 3:56: “As for those who reject faith [Islam], I will punish them with terrible agony in this world…nor will they have anyone to help.”
Koran: 25:52: “Therefore listen not to the Unbelievers, but strive against them with the utmost strenuousness with it.”
THESE are the reasons why we will not see any message of “solidarity” or “sympathy” for the victims and their families from Omar, Tlaib, CAIR, etc.
UNLESS it is completely proven to the contrary—this massacre was JIHAD.

    – arranged a secret meeting between Giulliani and Bill Barr to “discuss their Grandkids”

The Anchor Baby is a Golden Ticket to a lot of taxpayer freebies and no one in the border jumping illegal family will ever go back.

“You guys read about the border thing?
The two soldiers that were detained and disarmed by the Mexican army on our side of the border
that was out sister battery, I’m pretty fuckin heated at USAWTF moments right now… the news and JTF north downplayed the fuck out of this made it seem like a slight misunderstanding

    it’s crazy what happened
We don’t think it was the Mexican army we think it was the Z Cartel that pretty much owns that area

So the guys said they had no patches or markings on their uniforms, the Mexican police and military have quite a few patches to identify themselves the cartel guys usually wear the sterile uniforms

they didn’t mention that the river is only 25 meters from where there truck was and it’s covered in tall vegetation and trees, didn’t mention they were literally drug out of the vehicle and put on the ground within seconds of crossing the river, or that the SGT was disarmed while he was in the prone on the ground at gun point… it’s ridiculous how much they down played this

Everyone knows that the Z runs that AO. There a fucking Zs on every hillside

I’m irritated man, those two guys are being made out to be pussies, they didn’t even have time to react even if they wanted to use force…. by the time the guys seen them they were already on the truck trying to pull them out… even the CBP here is saying that was probable a cartel probe seeing what our capabilities are… yeah man what’s funny is right after this happened mexican military started patrolling the south side of the border hard…. like 3-4 Vic convoys rolling down the levy hmmm looks like they don’t like being impersonated to me

The drug cartels are in complete control on our southern border, not the Mexican government and not our government.

My thought was that our soldiers got to close to something that the cartel soldiers did not want them to see.

Honestly our guys are lucky they were not hurt badly and are still alive.

Those cartel soldiers are vicious animals.

And not for a minute do I believe that our American soldiers are pussies.

    How Empires Fall: Moral Decay
    April 20, 2019

    https://www.oftwominds.com/blogapr19/moral-decay4-19.html

    Excerpt:

There is a name for this institutionalized, commoditized fraud: moral decay.

Moral decay is an interesting phenomenon: we spot it easily in our partisan-politics opponents and BAU (business as usual) government/private-sector dealings (are those $3,000 Pentagon hammers now $5,000 each or $10,000 each? It’s hard to keep current…), and we’re suitably indignant when non-partisan corruption is discovered in supposed meritocracies such as the college admissions process.

But we’re less adept, it seems, at discerning systemic moral decay, which infects the very foundations of the economy and society.

Consider America’s favorite pastime, corrosive partisan politics. This distemper is often traced back to (surprise!) extreme partisans, but as the chart below shows, political partisanship has risen in near-perfect correlation with wealth-income inequality, which it itself the hallmark of deeply systemic corruption, as the system is rigged to benefit the few at the expense of the many. (Chart courtesy of Slope of Hope.)

There’s a phrase that describes a socio-economic system becoming the means for personal aggrandizement at the expense of civil society itself: moral decay. How else can we describe a system whose inputs and processes are rigged so the output is the vast majority of all income gains flow to the top 0.1%? (See chart below.)

When a socio-economic system institutionalizes the extralegal privileges of wealth and power, that is moral decay. When government only responds in ways that first serve the interests of entrenched insiders, that is moral decay. When the financial system is rigged to sluice income and wealth to the top of the wealth-power pyramid while stripmining the productive class below via inflation and taxes, that’s moral decay. (See chart below of workers’ share of the national income.)

Moral decay is the only possible output of systems that place the accumulation of personal wealth and political power above all other civic and economic values. When every system is nothing but a means to institutionalize and commodify fraud and extralegal privilege, there is no saving such a perversely asymmetric system from internal collapse.

During a conference call regarding our requirements for changes, they refused to limit gender to M and F, and said they would negotiate with us on the pronouns. We summarily removed them from the bid list. They expressed shock and we laughed out loud.

That was not the census but a survey that is done by the census department. I received one a few years ago and have never been so angry at our government. It is full of threats of $5,000 fines if you do not comply, threats of in person interviews if you don’t fill out the form. I turned it in but I wrote “This is none of your business” at the top of each page.

    So, lets look st this “bass-ackwards”, as my dear departed dad used to day;
The Mueller report states, unequivocally that “NO American colluded or conspired with Russia, to interfere with the 2016 Presidential election, right?
What PROOF do they offer, to support this statement?
    Bear with me, here.
The internet ads had no effect on the outcome, and are a red herring.
However, the publishing by wikileaks, of the Podesta and DNC emails undoubtedly DID have SOME effect on the election.
By clearly proving what Bernie supporters suspected, that the DNC rigged the primary process, to insure Hillary won, many Bernie supporters, who otherwise might have voted for Hillary, didn’t.
Hence, there WAS a measurable effect on the outcome.
So, next questions would be; A) How did these emails get from DNC to wikileaks, and B) IS wikileaks a russian front?
If, as has been asserted, the Podesta and DNC emails were obtained thru a ‘phishing’ scam, prove it WASN’T an American that executed the scam.
Then, even if we assume that wikileaks IS a Russian front organisation, the assertion falls apart, without proving WHO obtained the Podesta emails, and transferred them to Wikileaks, or at least that ‘whoever’ wasn’t an American.
And of coarse, there has been no evidence presented to prove the assertion that Wikileaks IS a Russian front organisation.
There is some, tangential references to HILLARYS emails, thru mentioning the guccifer connection. But even assuming guccifer WAS a Russian agent, and WAS responsible for getting said emails to wikileaks, and assuming wikileaks IS a russian front, those Hillary emails had little measurable effect on the election.

Voters already KNEW Hillary had a bathroom server, that it had been hacked, and that she had bleachbitted it.
How they conflated things, mixing up Hillary’s emails, with Podesta/DNC emails, and then using shiny object distraction of this russian ads foolishness, and are trying desperately to “sell” this is mind boggling.
IF Mueller testifies, I would love to see him asked a series of questions starting with “You make the assertion that “No American colluded with Russia to interfere in the 2016 election. HOW can you prove to the American people that this assertion is true?” (HOW do you prove a negative?)

I don’t think Mueller CAN. But, I doubt anyone will ask him that.

Dutchman, I think many people who reflexively vote Dimm and could see that Hillary was not up to snuff went ahead and voted for her anyway. Most people know that the Clintons are corrupt. They didn’t let it bother them because the other assumption was that the Republican would be corrupt too. Lots of people don’t vote because they consider politics to be corrupt.

… beginning with the Admin Support for every individual who oversees others.

Starter set of questions (additions requested)…
… For each: If so, Who, How, When, Where and witnessed by Whom?

    • Have you ever witnessed or heard of a DOJ or FBI employee express or demonstrate any animus, bias or subversive actions against President Trump or any member of his Administration?

    • Have you ever witnessed or heard of DOJ or FBI actions to obstruct, delay, limit or mislead any inquiry (including FOIA and Declassification requests) that would reveal the above animus, bias or subversive actions?

    • Have you ever witnessed or heard of DOJ or FBI actions to recruit, assign or promote such individuals to roles or positions that would empower them to undermine President Trump or any member of his Administration?

    • Have you ever witnessed or heard of DOJ or FBI actions to remove, reassign or demote UNBIASED or HONORABLE individuals from roles or positions that would empower them to fairly investigate or decide whether to litigate President Trump or any member of his Administration?

IIRC, every FBI agent is SUPPOSED to, annually submit to a lie detector test, where they are asked if they have ever exceptrd a bribr, etc.
I also recall reading that McCabe, or was it Stroxz, FLUNKED a test, and there were no repercussions.

At any rate, your questions SHOULD be added to the list, ALL Fibbers mast answer. At some point, WRAY has to go, that is obvious. To do so now would be politically contentious, to say the least.
After 2020, someone LIKE Barr will need to be brought in, to clean house.
Rather than the obsurd ‘ethics training’ a concentrated and sustained effort, with a re-examination of ALL “Policies and Procedures” will be required.

P&P is the nuts and bolts of buerocracies, and its so ‘in the weeds’, that most non-buerocrats don’t pay attention, but it is CRUCIAL.

Firstly, we can see how Mueller “7 and out”, requiring field agents to move to d.c. after working more than 7 years in the field, and work at the main d.c. office was used to eliminate a lot of ‘good’ talent, and indoctrinate agents who remained.

Secondly, the I.G. report makes it clear the result, where P&P were routinely ignored: leaking to the press became SOP, lie detector test requirement ignored, etc.

And, of coarse the whole 302 scam is history, as it depended on juries BELIEVING an FBI agents testimony about what the defendant said, and that ain’t gonna happen, any more.

Much of the inherent problems with the FBI were put in place by Hoover, but at least his primary motivation was for his baby, “The Bureu”, Mueller kept some of the underlieing defects, but added another layer.

Whoever they replace Wray with will have to dismantle and rebuild, a daunting task.

        CAN it be done? Certainly.
        WILL it be done? Questionable.
But, your questions, asked at their annual lie detector test, is a good start.

Mexico’s “deep concern” is of no concern to me. My BP friends “on the ground” tell me the militias are disciplined, and they are behaving as helpful extensions of BP resources that are very strained.

The BP rank and file, at least the dozen or so with whom I am very familiar, is accepting of the militias because they are not getting the support promised/needed from DHS. The DHS is ultimately responsible if bad stuff happens. JMO

Then the Union representative for B.P. agents, publically said the agents aporeciated the militias, and any citisen along the border that observed illegals crossing, and reported it to B.P. (which was ALL the militias were doing, was HELPING B.P.

In the dim recesses of my memory, didn’t McStain direct his aide, David Kramer, to travel to London to meet with Steele, a foreign national, to get a dossier full of dirt on Trump? During that one-day trip, Steele met Kramer at the airport, then drove Kramer to his home and Kramer read the dossier in his living room.

So, no problem with traitor McStain sending his aide to a foreign country actually reading dirt on Trump from a foreign national, but we need a huge covert investigation of PapaD because Mifsud told PapaD that Russia had dirt on Hellery.

    Malcolm Muggeridge

    Joyful Easter to you all!
Sensitive to the knowledge that we live in a pluralistic society, and that there are undoubtedly many different worldviews within the Treehouse itself, I nevertheless thought of both when I awoke this Easter morning. Easter and Thanksgiving are the holidays most meaningful to me, and I suspect it’s because there is at least one common thread between the two–and also one of the greatest casualties of liberalism–gratitude.

A second casualty might be “Truth.” Many people of varying worldviews today speak of “the truth setting you free”…often without knowing or understanding the absent first portion of the “quote” and why that might be, that is, Truth with a capital “T”. For those of the Baby Boom generation, an even more well-known quote might be, “You want the truth? You can’t handle the truth!” This morning I was listening to a podcast by one of the smartest people (and best speakers) I know of, Ravi Zacharias. He was speaking of a friend of his and one of the smartest people he ever knew, the late Malcolm Muggeridge, former British journalism giant, atheist, communist, and liberal. The talk, even though “taped” years ago seemed very relevant to today’s America, especially as it pertained to “Truth” and “justice”–two of today’s buzzwords, as in “my truth; your truth,” and “social justice.”

I have included both the expanded Muggeridge quote from the podcast, as well as the link, below. (I decided to read more about Mr. Muggeridge, and found many of his quotes, even from 50 years ago, unbelievably prescient, including the one, and the link above.)

But, as I have thought about Easter, Ravi Zacharias, Malcolm Muggeridge, Truth–and all that is happening in America today, I realized that all I could possibly hope for in this current situation (Russia “investigation”…which, as I have written in this blog before, I believe was designed to coverup actions extending back to Benghazi forward) is…the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. In fact, using the Muggeridge quote as a springboard, I am not as interested in “justice” as I am in knowing the truth. (afterall, Justice is the Lord’s…as is, thankfully, Mercy–the Message of Easter.)

I want the truth. I think I can handle the truth.

I am thankful to know the Truth this Easter.
    He is risen!
A Joyful Easter to you all.

    (quotes and links follow)
Malcolm Muggeridge (1903-1990) was a British born journalist popular in the nineteen hundreds. Initially attracted by Communism, Muggeridge and his wife lived in Moscow in the 1930’s where he acted as a correspondent for the Manchester Guardian. Increasingly, Muggeridge recognized the failings of Communism and Stalin’s regime, but his writings exposing the widespread famine in the Soviet Union were censored by his editors and refuted by other journalists and publications (most notably, the New York Times). Below is an excerpt from Chronicles of Wasted Time, a collection of Muggeridge’s publications. In it, Muggeridge rebukes immoral policies enacted under the “false face” of justice and provides a chilling example of the cynicism that can exist in government.

“…truth is very beautiful; more so, as I consider, than justice — today’s pursuit — which easily puts on a false face. In the nearly seven decades I have lived through, the world has overflowed with bloodshed and explosions whose dust has never had time to settle before others have erupted; all in purportedly just causes. The quest for justice continues, and the weapons and hatred pile up; but truth was an early casualty. The lies on behalf of which our wars have been fought and our peace treaties concludes! The lies of revolution and of counter-revolution! The lies of advertising, of news, of salesmanship, of politics! The lies of the priest in his pulpit, the professor at his podium, the journalist at his typewriter! The lie stuck like a fish-bone in the throat of the microphone, the hand-held lies of the prowling cameraman! Ignazio Silone told me once how, when he was a member of the old Comintern, some stratagem was under discussion, and the delegate, a newcomer who had never attended before, made the extraordinary observation that if such and such statement were to be put out, it wouldn’t be true. There was a moment of dazed silence, and then everyone began to laugh. They laughed and laughed until tears ran down their cheeks and the Kremlin walls seemed to shake. The same laughter echoes in every council chamber and cabinet room, wherever two or more are gathered together to exercise authority. It is truth that has died, not God.”

Malcolm Muggeridge, Chronicles of Wasted Time, (Vancouver: Regent College Publishing, 2006), 19-20.

I have been thing about getting his book. It seems like he is trying to help.

I liked that SD mingled some of the pages from PapaD’s book into one of his recent threads.

I like how Mueller pulled the car door open and then closed it without caring if idiot “journalist” would be hit by it. 🙂 So rude to accost him at church. I think there’s a law that you can’t protest within x number of feet when there are services, something like that. The same should hold for fake news harassment.
