Did they delay calling fire crews to save the artwork? (From water) …???

BTW, when Obama tried to smear the Crusades … the Crusades were a response to an invasion! There were multiple crusades … eight total?

Impossible to know (at this point) what caused the catastrophic Notre Dame fire. But there are several indisputable facts that lead one to circumstantially suspect terrorism rather than a restoration mishap.
    1. Native born Jihadis threatened that Paris Bataclan was just the beginning.
    2. Isis has been threatening revenge for the loss of their caliphate. Its escaped ‘French soldiers’ would now have had time to return to France without air travel.
    3. Holy week, and with much known recent French church desecration (by Muslims). Two last week alone in Paris suburbs, under reported by PC media. Going to make a big splash, this is the week.
    4. Fire apparently started about 1830 Paris time, well after restoration work would have concluded for the day.
    5. The restoration scaffolding starts at ground level, enabling roof/attic access ‘unnoticed’ after working hours
    6. Fire spread quickly to engulf the entire main roof structure. That suggests accelerants given how big Notre Dame actually is. The investigators need to study the early video and the restoration work that was going on earlier today, not the later central spire collapse. The clues to cause lie in the earliest part of the incident. Not enough of that yet available on line.

Also, there already was an attempt to damage Notre Dame in 2016 by ISIS. There were also two attempts on the World Trade Center. Like Nimrodman was posting- it would be interesting to see if there was increased chatter before the fire started.

William Floyd Weld (born July 31, 1945) is an American attorney, businessman, and Republican politician who was the 68th Governor of Massachusetts from 1991 to 1997 and the Libertarian Party’s nominee for Vice President of the United States in the 2016 election, sharing the ticket with Gary Johnson. He is formally exploring a campaign to seek the Republican nomination for President of the United States in 2020.

A Harvard and Oxford graduate, Weld began his career as legal counsel to the United States House Committee on the Judiciary before becoming the United States Attorney for the District of Massachusetts and, later, the United States Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division. He focused on a series of high-profile public corruption cases. He resigned in protest of an ethics scandal and associated investigations of Attorney General Edwin Meese.

In 1990, Weld was elected Governor of Massachusetts and reelected by the largest margin in Massachusetts history in the 1994 election. In 1996, he was the Republican nominee for the United States Senate, losing to Democratic incumbent John Kerry. He resigned as governor in 1997 to focus on his nomination by President Bill Clinton to serve as United States Ambassador to Mexico, but because of opposition by the social conservative Senate Foreign Relations committee Chairman Jesse Helms, he was denied a hearing before the Foreign Relations committee and withdrew his nomination.

In recent years, Weld has become involved in presidential politics. In 2016, he left the Republican Party to become the Libertarian Party running mate of former Governor of New Mexico Gary Johnson. Johnson and Weld were the first presidential ticket since 1948 to consist of two state governors. They jointly received nearly 4.5 million popular votes, the best showing ever for a Libertarian ticket, and the best for any third party since 1996. After returning to the Republican Party in 2019, Weld announced on April 15, 2019, that he will challenge sitting President Donald Trump in 2020 United States presidential election.[1]

Bernie at 7:15 EST was asked how he’d address the border crisis. He says the problems is from people w children fleeing central america for asylum due to conditions there w children walking thousands of miles. “Asylum” is offered by the first country entered from where your fleeing, not the last (USA). and secondly, in prior admins these mainly were adults mainly men, the majority of which were returned, not children in numbers like now.

      Here is the link: https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-04-15/obamas-border-patrol-chief-border-crisis-worst-history-country

A second ex-Obama admin official has spoken up over the crisis at the southern US border.
Mark Morgan, a career FBI official who served as Border Patrol chief during the last six months of the Obama administration told Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo on Monday that the US-Mexico border crisis has reached historic proportions and is the worst in the history of the country.

“this isn’t just a crisis, this is a crisis like we’ve never experienced in the history of this country since we started tracking numbers,” said Morgan, who also addressed false statistics floating around comparing the numbers of migrants to those of the 1990s.

There’s still this very false talking point out there that — well, back in the ’90s, the numbers were higher — over a million.” Well, first of all, again, you got to remember they were Mexican adults, we were moving, deporting 90 percent of them. With the broken asylum laws and other loopholes that are there, we’re seeing 65 to 70 percent increase in family units, and because of those broken laws, we’re allowing them in. This year, we’re expected to hit a million, but we’re going to let 650,000 into the country. That’s driving this crisis, driving our resources, being overwhelmed. We have to address it.

    GREAT IDEA ALERT

Pardon my self congratulatory opener. Just seeking to have anyone who reads here and who has some greater platform than I do to pay attention:

The left are great at naming policies using words that everyone would be on board for (feasibility not considered). For example, Affordable Care Act?? are you kidding me. The last thing it is is affordable. Now this new “MEDICARE FOR ALL” – it is an extremely manipulative naming of a policy that will deliver the exact opposite. Medicare is considered good, so Medicare for all is even better, right.? But when people on our side discuss it they keep saying stuff like Medicare for all doesn’t work because blah blah blah.,..

The messaging is wrong. Rather they should be saying Medicare for all is really VA for all. VA is a single payer plan run by the government. We are all aware of the disaster it has been and will be even more so when we have VA for all. That is the message that should be sent out. Do not call it Medicare for all. Call it VA for all.

Is it just me, or does the only theory that makes sense about Rep. Ilhan Omar is that 1. She has someone or some organization with a lot of $ behind her (daily expensive outfits, full time press corp that follows her around and endless captures flattering photos and “insightful” stories)
    2. This benefactor with deep pockets paid Pelosi a whole lot of money to put her on the foriegn relations committee

Why else would Pelosi put up with this insubordinate cockroach’s BS, unless she got paid many millions of dollars to do it. Any sane person would have dumped her from the foreign relations committee and put her in her place.

    • It is very unusual for a newbie to be put on such a committee, without any $$ influence brought into the Dem coffers. Committee members must E.A.R.N. their seats; same with Occasional Cortex and the other Muslim …. “Dem-Socialist” with the foul mouth.
      Be very suspicious.

Whoever runs against our President is in for a severe Ass Whipping. Just today I went out to shipping and a truck driver is picking up a load and I notice he’s wearing a Trump 2020 hat. I wound up talking with him for a half hour. We’re in Illinois and he lives in Michigan. He had all kinds of reasons for liking our President, but the one thing I hadn’t heard before was when he said, “Donald Trump is the most vetted President this Country has ever had “. Why we were talking, one of the warehouse workers told me his buddy was taking early orders for large Trump 2020, (Keep America Great) Banners. Then he showed a photo of it on his cell. Earlier, an employee, an ex-con, came into my office and told me that the President was flying in to Minneapolis to give a speech and it was being carried live by Red State. Talk about Woke. These three people never voted before until President Trump happened.

A previous comment from someone reposted–Did France and Airbus sabotage Boeing?

You know who fell for France’s climate change bullsht.. Boeing.. They decided to change the engines in their most profitable workhorse – the 737 Max.. And who had a hand in making these engines..? France.. And Boeing fell for it because they were 14% more energy efficient..

Can you believe that.. Just 14%.. And was engineered and designed by French mechanics.. AND which required Boeing to modify the superstructure of what was their most profitable workhorse..

The definition of ‘Stupid’.. No common sense.. Somebody at Boeing believes in the climate change fairy.. And have never known or owned a Jaguar..

It’s like when Coca Cola changed their formula for no good reason.. Duped into defeating themselves..

Boeing.. Duped.. By the climate change fairy..

    14%..

Worse. Boeing needs a longer landing gear to accommodate the larger engines on the 737 and won’t do it. The French engine as you call it? Well they could have had a certain geared turbofan from a company that isn’t GE, and who’s noise signature and fuel specifics were better, but they stepped in it again. There us more history as to the woulda shoulda’s but it may not be for public consumption…

It was THE CEO OF BOEING WHO MADE THAT DECISION… Chief Executive Dennis Muilenburg — Boeing Increases CEO’s Pay 27% to $23.4 Million for Last Year!!!

You can thank the above idiot for this!!!

    Methinks some Frenchie sabotaged Boeing…

Regardless of the carbon output aspect, a 14% fuel economy improvement on an engine is HUGE for an airline. More efficient engines mean less fuel cost. That kind of fuel economy improvement could mean the difference between life or death of a carrier.

When the winglet attachments, which give slight fuel economy improvements, came out 15 or 20 years ago, the carriers all jumped on adding them to their existing fleets. Now all new planes have them.

Fuel consumption is probably the most important consideration of operating a for profit air carrier.

I don’t believe that this explains a conscious effort on the part of Airbus to sabotage Boeing. I think the Boeing engineers, in particular the idiots in charge of software development, and the Boeing management can thank themselves for shooting themselves in the foot (with a cannon).
