Important Report: McCabe and Page Text Messages Withheld From Congress by DOJ Officials…

Not a Tick-Tock

All day long, even before the Mueller news broke, Fox News reporter Catherine Herridge has really been leaning-forward, giving insight into the pending Inspector General report by OIG Michael Horowitz. Herridge is one of those reporters who is careful not to get out in front of her skis.  Ms. Herridge is not a book-selling member of the tick-tock community of pundits.

We noted earlier how the specific emphasis of Ms. Herridge seemed to indicate the Horowitz report was closer to the surface of completion than previously thought.

Immediately after the Mueller news broke (around 5pm EST), Herridge filed her first live report providing details of the Mueller report.  Within that first report Herridge stated she was previously bound to “confidences” until the Mueller probe was complete.

In subsequent reporting we begin to see what those confidences are, and how they connect to her exclusive reporting on text messages between Andrew McCabe and former FBI lawyer Lisa Page.

Ms. Herridge is strongly emphasizing a few key points that need additional emphasis:

♦ First, IG Horowitz is looking into the leaking of memos that contain classified information by “Senior FBI Executives”.  This bullet-point directly relates to the James Comey memos that were leaked to the New York Times by Comey himself.  On this first point, that would mean Comey is under investigation by the DOJ for those leaks.

♦ Second, IG Horowitz is following up on his own investigative finding where he found FBI officials were taking gifts from media.  This violates FBI policy and could be a bigger ethical issue depending on the details.  Interestingly, connecting this path to bullet-point #1, Herridge says: “by those same Senior Executives.”  That would indicate former FBI Director James Comey, and former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe would be under investigation for taking gifts from media.

♦ Third, Herridge reports on what we already knew.  IG Horowitz is investigating FISA surveillance abuse that stems from the fraudulently obtained FISA Title-1 surveillance warrant gained on Carter Page.   This third point we knew about; however, Herridge then drops a bombshell...

Herridge notes she has exclusively gained 40 pages of text messages and communication between Andrew McCabe and Lisa Page.   Her reporting from earlier today only revealed two of those pages.

Additionally, Herridge reveals these McCabe/Page messages were not provided to congressional oversight while republicans were in charge of the committees.  This is huge, because this speaks to two key issues:

#1) corruption that existed inside the FBI (2017, 2018) that was/is keeping information from congress; and…

#2) the possibility of AG William Barr changing the dynamic so those same corrupt officials can no longer hide the information.

On both of those points, everyone following the story closely has noted that current DOJ and FBI officials were actually part of the corruption.  Those officials were responsible for deleting text messages, and redacting text messages damaging to the institutions.

With Mueller completing his two-year probe, we might see those corrupt officials no longer able to hide damaging details.  At least this seems to be the overall tone behind how Catherine Herridge is conveying her reporting (ie. prior confidences now removed).

Unfortunately Fox News has not uploaded the Herridge segments.  However, the key segment is available below prompted to 29:18  WATCH:

(IG Report – DOJ/FBI Misconduct)

Perhaps there’s reason for cautious optimism that AG William Barr might provide the change needed to finally start seeing some measure of accountability.

With Mueller now out of the way it would appear the impediment to President Trump declassifying the FISA documents has been removed.

Absolutely free of leaks because Bob “leak-proofed” his investigation, don’tcha know …

I read all about it on the Daily Mail:

Hand in your phones! How Robert Mueller leak-proofed his investigation by turning his entire D.C. office into a secret fortress and even kept its address away from prying eyes

Mueller turned his entire southwest D.C. office suite into a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility, the most secret designation for spies, banning all devices of any kind.

Why be surprised. The Left “knew” Trump was guilty. They knew it because without Russian help how could he have beaten Hill? Now their entire worldview has collapsed and with it dawns the awful realization that Trump may be telling the truth about all sorts of things.

When all you know suddenly is turned to ashes you take it hard, very hard.

All you have left is AOC and Joe Biden as a Presidential candidate. Keeping hope alive in such circumstances is more than a stretch.

When former Trump campaign adviser Michael Caputo agreed to an interview with Mueller in May 2018, he was told he would be picked up at the hotel where he was staying in Washington.

On the lookout for a black government SUV, Caputo and his lawyer were surprised when an FBI agent drove up in his personal car, a white Dodge Charger.

‘Then he drove us 15 blocks to their location and we went in through the garage so that nobody would see,’ Caputo said in an interview.

Caputo was questioned about former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, Manafort’s aide Rick Gates and long-time Trump adviser Roger Stone. When the interview was over, Mueller’s team told him they would take him back to his hotel. Caputo said Mueller’s team was not happy with what he said next.

‘I said I’m meeting a TV crew downstairs so I won’t need a ride,’ Caputo said. ‘They weren’t upset that I was talking to the media, they were disturbed that I was doing it in (front of) the office.’

‘They were concerned … that would put their agents and attorneys at risk,’ Caputo said, adding that he agreed to meet the news crew at a different location nearby.

Former Trump campaign advisor Sam Nunberg said an FBI agent picked him up at the train station to take him to the office.

‘You put your phone and any electronic devices and leave them in a compartment out front,’ Nunberg added. ‘It was a very plain office.’

Nunberg said he went into a conference room with three tables, and prosecutor Aaron Zelinsky, a member of Mueller’s team, came in with three FBI agents, one female and two males.

Christopher Wray: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

        1. Wray Worked in the Justice Department With James Comey & Robert Mueller, Threatening to Resign With Them During Comey’s White House Showdown in 2004

“While Wray was assistant attorney general from 2003 to 2005, Comey was the deputy attorney general and Mueller was leading the FBI as its director.

He was willing to resign along with Comey and Mueller in 2004, during Comey’s showdown with the White House over the plan to renew the National Security Agency’s Terrorist Surveillance Program while then-Attorney General John Ashcroft was hospitalized.

According to the Washingtonian, Wray approached Comey at the Justice Department headquarters and said, “Look, I don’t know what’s going on, but before you guys all pull the rip cords, please give me a heads‑up so I can jump with you.”

Not only did the Mueller “insurance policy” keep all information from coming out to expose the crimes from the FBI/DOJ..and of course the CIA (Brennan’s involvement), they kept it all from those in congress that were calling these people in from of GOP led committees because they knew the direction it would lead…. away from any wrongdoing of the President or his close associates.

I await reading the McCabe/Page texts even more than Mueller’s report! We all knew major discussions were had…. schemes were planned and covered-up. Wray hid these. He has to go. They really really really thought that Mueller would find something.

Precisely – PM May, as the globalist conspirator that she is, has been intentionally trying to kill Brexit, while conspiring with Juncker in the EU. There was a mention of an “Irish Block” concerning trade, that May wanted to use as coercion against Brexit. Interestingly, last week President Trump hosted the Irish PM at the White House. After their meeting, President Trump announced new and favorable trade and economic agreements between Ireland and the United States. Coincidence?

This entire coup attempt (still continuing, e.g., NZ attacks) is a conspiracy between the Evil British Empire and American officials and media. UK, Australia and now socialist government of NZ are involved. The operation has been by the Queen’s Privy (secret) Council through MI-6 and the Queen’s Prosecution Service, the head of the Procsection Service (Saunders) having traveled with her entourage to DC to have dinner at the home of Bruce and Nellie Ohr days before the infamous Trump Tower meeting. Declass will expose the UK as an enemy of USA. Appropriate attitude and action will be warranted. Some important action has been taken – removal of UK from access to NSA intelligence and takedown of C_A secret comms and spy satellites and the supercmputers that controlled them. More to come, IMHO.

It would seem Mr. Bond’s MI-5 has been involved in some election-tampering here in the US, only it wasn’t to assist Mr. Trump. We have, potentially, at least one and possibly as many as at least three foreign intelligence agencies – one of which is VERY close to home – trying to exert influence on the 2016 election. If those actions were conducted with the consent of the governments involved – well, to the best of my knowledge/recollection, that constitutes a basis for at least the recalling of ambassadors and, at most, a declaration of war. If those actions occurred due to the efforts of “rogue elements” of the subject intelligence agencies – which those governments are almost certain to say – then it meant said governments don’t have full control over their own respective apparatus of government and they’d better be checking what sort of foreign and domestic imbroglios those rogue elements are getting their countries into. Wars start this way. And Trump will probably be making some very quiet but forceful telephone calls to those same govts in the near future.

This should be given some serious thought.

As long as Steele was outside of the US, no warrant needed at all. Since he was occasionally inside the US, but still a foreigner, a Title 7 FISA warrant would have been needed for some of his communications.

Considering how heavily he meddled in our election, the chances that this occurred are far above 0% in my opinion.

    • Open season. Steele is not a US citizen or in US, so 4th Amendment doesn’t apply. There are probably Five Eyes regulations prohibiting this, but I don’t know the details.

Now that the Mueller Report is out, and, according to Herridge of Fox News the secret report has landed on Barr’s desk, which Barr says he will have read over the weekend, some questions surface:

Who authored the report? Andrew Weissmann?

Since Nervous Nan suddenly shifted gears over a week ago and suddenly started talking against impeachment, I’ll bet she, and her’s, got an advanced leaked copy from the Mueller team so they could start spinning lowered expectations. Who was the leaker?

My understanding is that Barr wants the report released to the public. Is this supposed to happen after he briefs Trump? Will the Dems wait until the official public release, or, starting Monday or before, will we see evidence that they are working from their leaked knowledge of the content?

Herridge announced that there will be no more indightments coming from the Mueller investigation, but says that the IG has been following a parallel track, investigating all things FISA. Will that mean indightments will begin to surface from that track?

    Interesting times.

The IG can’t indict. The IG can only refer people to the DOJ for prosecution.

Considering that many of the people he would be referring, work in and under the DOJ, it is a MUST that any criminal referrals be made to a Special Counsel.

There is no way around this. I think Barr is the guy that understands this. If the IG reports any criminal activity, it will be an instant appointment of a Special Counsel, if not multiple Special Counsels considering the tremendous scope of the matter.

They are so small minded. She attempts to state why Trump selected AG Barr was to obstruct the investigation.

She doesn’t even consider that the reason a President, who knows better than anyone that there was no collusion, might select Barr for the job is because he was selected for what comes AFTER Mueller.

The crusty bastard was picked because he’s a wrecking ball and is beholden to no one, save for the Constitution and Lady Justice..

The fact that the Ds now want Mueller to testify signals many things.

The fact that TC began his show tonight — by first asking why Obama, why Obama has not been scrutinized — yet — may also signal many things. Like, e.g.: This fish rotted from the head.

Let’s see how long it takes Chris Wallace to get that “scandal free” prez on his show, don’t hold breath. At least Obama has an excuse now to keep his mouth shut [advice of counsel], — as he will finally be asked about how he allowed all this s – h – i – t to happen, and when and why he ordered his DIA/CIA to do what they did in 2015/2016/2017 against Trump and who knows who else?

My view for some time has been that the idea behind theory of the above was that, while expecting Trump to lose, there was, for the unctuous ones, the “problem” “they” had with the Trump Phenomena, the political movement, that social movement and its off-shoots [in other words, the people, most of us whom are poor and by definition “deplorable”]. . . . and using all that as insurance to ensure destroying him politically and that movement and related movements….under direction of Clintonism.

CH I watched wave those 40 pages in her hand live on TV tonight. The relieved half-smile of a reporter’s reporter on her face. And I’m thinking, please be careful with those, don’t lose them or let them blow away….

Maybe wave was for Americans, and to places like NYT.

After all, NYT [read James Wolfe’s former lover] has unredacted Page FISA; they have those names unredacted, etc. They never ever found the real headline to write on that gold mine they have.

It is unfair for a news organ like that to have it and the rest of us not have it. And so it’s only a matter of time before we all see all of that.

CH got her own gold mine via hard work, the old fashioned way, unlike one of her competitors.

Yep. Considering the NYTimes has the full application, and never wrote a single story about what is in it, speaks volumes about who it damages and who it helps.

They have sown the seeds of their own destruction.

I saw Catherine Herridge in the Fox News studio this afternoon shortly after the news broke about the Mueller Report being finished. She had forgotten to turn off her cell phone and the ringer tone she uses is a frog croaking. It croaked a good five times until she said excuse me and shut it off.
Bet her producers had something to say to her after the shot was over, ha ha.
But, yes, she’s a good reporter. Anyone can forget to turn their phone off.

One thing that will sink in.

Mueller surrounded himself solely with democrats, some with close personal ties to the Clintons. Not a single registered republican, and all donors to the DNC. (According to Hannity)

So if the report show no collusion on the part of Trump, its impossible to argue Trump got special treatment and that the investigation was biased in his favor. It will be vindication on his repeated claim that the whole effort was a witch hunt.

Can we finally put an end to the fiction that the corruption at the FBI and DoJ was confined to a few rogue operatives at the top of the chain of command and that all the rank-and-file are good little Dudley Do-Rights as Sean Hannity and others constantly portray them to be? No, the entire bureaucracy in DC is overrun with scoundrels. Not 100% to be sure, but it’s not “just a few” either. Government officials have gotten a free ride for a long time and have become addicted to wealth and power at the expense of the citizenry. I will trust any of them only after verifying to a degree of complete certainty that they are worthy of trust.

Count me out of that apology, thanks all the same

Sessions” recusal – without first consulting President Trump – allowed 2 years of Special Counsel witch-hunt and badgering of President Trump and his supporters, with career ruination and imprisonment for some, and hamstringing much of the President’s agenda by portraying him as weak and allowing undermining by foreign leaders who believed that weakness portrayal and decided to wait out his “soon-to-be” downfall. We saw more of that just last week with Merkel saying “go fish” on Germany’s NATO responsibility for 2% GDP military funding.

That all amounts to great, great harm to The President, to us, and to our nation – courtesy of Mr Jeff Sessions
