Jim Jordan and Mark Meadows Send Letter to AG Barr Requesting Update on McCabe Criminal Referral…

With a few exceptions CTH is not a big fan of expecting congressional letters to deliver results and information.  However, that said, I hope this is one of the exceptions.

Representatives Jim Jordan and Mark Meadows send a letter (full pdf below) to Attorney General William Barr wanting to know what is the status of the criminal referral for fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.

The referral was made April 19th, 2018, approximately five days after the OIG published their report outlining McCabe’s lies.

The McCabe criminal referral was made to Jessie K. Liu (above right), the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia who is also a member of the Attorney General Advisory Council (AGAC). According to reporting from last year there was a grand jury impaneled in/around July 2018.

Grand Jury testimony and activity is generally kept quiet; there have been no leaks and no public activity noted in the past eight months.  However, Mr. McCabe has recently been highly visible on his book tour.  Adding to speculation the grand jury may no longer exist, U.S. Attorney Jessie K. Liu is expected to be nominated to the #3 spot at the DOJ.

Given the distance from the original McCabe grand jury investigation (8 months); and accepting the current high-profile book tour by Andrew McCabe; and considering Ms. Liu is soon to exit as U.S. Attorney for DC; it would appear Mr. Jordan and Mr. Meadows are inquiring about whether or not the legal issues around McCabe still remain.

Here’s the letter:

Is there anything more disgusting than a cesspool? Yes there is! I nominate the grease trap that most restaurants/cafeterias have! If you’ve ever been unfortunate enough to get near one that’s been opened for servicing, you’ll remember that for the rest of your life! A lot of guys who deal with them as part of their job will often stick their finger down their throat BEFORE they open it up to get the gagging reflex out of their system! And yes, it’s a CLEAN finger!

I had an after school job in the early 70’s cleaning a meat market and they had a grease trap back in the room where they butchered. One of the other kids cleaning decided to pour both ammonia and bleach at the same time to unplug the fats in the traps. Talk about a toxic waste dump. The fumes cleared the building out for a few hrs.

One of two smell that you will remember all of your life.
Grease trap? Been there, done that. 44 years ago, the
          smell still lingers.

The other one? If you are unfortunate enough to visit a
friend or loved one in an ICU that has a fetid, permeating
stench that’s omnipresent. Back when you could find out
what “THAT SMELL” was. Nowadays, with HIPPA, no way.

I’d call it a tie between the two smells for which is worst.
          1. Grease trap.
          2. GI bleeding patient ( blood in the belly) in ICU or ER.

Indeed, NO ONE is going to jail-NO ONE will even be indicted. As for McCabe, The WAPO SAID there was a grand jury in place, but that has never been verified. It’s been nearly a year since that was reported. Does it take a grand jury 12 months to figure out someone lied? Pullezzze.

So anyone still clinging to the notion that the 2-tiered justice system is going to corrected and these vermin will see justice shouldn reconsider.

Voter ID is to the neocommunist America haters, like Holy Water to a vampire….really, it’s literally life and eath to them. Much like their desperation, vitriol, and viciousness over the SCOTUS picks, they cannot allow a law REQUIRING voters to prove they are citizens, or legal registered voters, or only voting in their home district, or not completing absentee ballots for deceased persons, etc…

They (America haters) got away with the Broward County, Florida debacle, and the outright theft in California, with no consequences of any severity, so look for them to identify any “close races and there will be the voter fraud. Why in the hell we cannot prosecute the guilty is beyond me. I realize it’s due to corruption, and money, but when the evidence is irrefutable, and already in the public domain…..

Also, the Silicone Valley tech giants (Twitter, Google, and that Facebook dork) are coordinating how to remove both conservative material, and eventually all conservative websites. These are two areas where President Trump needs to use all the influence he has…..bigly.

Rep Nunes’s lawsuit against Twitter might be the 1st shot that
actually starts the push-back to free speech for all. His comments
shaped the argument saying the legacy press is essentially dead.
Social media is now the new public forum.
You have to go back to the beginning of the internet to see what he’s
doing. Back then, there were few major players like Compuserve, AOL, Prodigy, etc.
On one of Prodigy’s boards, a fight between posters escalated to where Prodigy stepped in & changed or deleted the one sides comments. Things heated up & the whole thing ended up in court. The judge ruled for the plaintiff stating since Prodigy was editing the content, they were acting as publishers, therefore responsible for ALL content!
          RUT-ROH!
The back pedaling could be heard heard for miles. Statements were
immediately released by the other companies saying, NO No No, we are
only service providers, that’s it. We only provide the cage. What you animals, ah customers, do inside is NONE of our business.
Now today social media has a bunch of new laws protecting them
from these kinds of lawsuits, but if Nunes can punch through them,
create a breach, it just might give real free speech a fighting chance.
(Don’t hold me to every detail, the early 90’s was awhile ago.)

Wind the clock back. Wind it back to pre Windows time. When
essentially just a few were on the internet. When the only game
in town was to get a Letter to the Editor or An op ed editorial
            published in the local paper.

Shadow banning was occurring even back then. Only it was
called “editing for content or brevity”. It was easy to see who
the editors agreed with at the time. Anything that was lefty
SJW would get 500+ words. Anyone else was either conveniently
left unpublished, or would receive 350 words. If they were lucky.

I published an op ed in the county legal organ years ago. I
was initially mad at the fact that they gave me the wrong last
name. It was only after I made a call to the publisher that I
realized that he was trying to protect me. Agreed with what I
said, but knew enough about the county elite that it put me
            in literal danger.

There is likely more to what McCabe was up to than the Establishment wants us to know. The 25th Amendment gambit was likely his idea, and it is a reasonable suspicion that he was blackmailing Rosenstein to get it done by threatening to make Rosenstein a subject of his obstruction investigation of Trump. Rosenstein launched his own coup and took the investigations of Trump away from McCabe and appointed Mueller, whom Rosenstein would supervise. When it comes to office politics, Rod Rosenstein didn’t come to town on a load of pumpkins with straw hanging out of his ears. A potential target of an investigation winds up running it? That just might be a first.

“Government is an institution which prevents injustice other than such as it commits itself.” Ibn Kahldan, 13th Century, Tunis. Point is to think government is anything but depraved and wicked wielding power over the people is simply naive. Not a uniquely American problem….and not a new problem, it’s how humanity is wired. As noted by Jesus of Nazareth two millennia ago, “ That which proceeds out of the man, that is what defiles the man. “For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the evil thoughts, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries, deeds of coveting and wickedness, as well as deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride and foolishness.” Apart from a a relationship with God, all anyone of us can do is sin. The founding fathers were well aware that this point and carefully set up a system of checks and balances. Lack of accountability for corruption is an attack on the nation and our system of government. Hope is not a method but I hope and pray and expect men of honor to take action. Mr. Barr?

What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as FREEDOM should not be highly rated.

We can only hope that Mr. Paine’s words are as applicable today as they were when they were set to press so long ago. Keep up the fight, the work, and the struggle however you can – even if it is word to a neighbor, a letter to the editor, or a shot into the great dark expanse of the web.

Lest see, General Flynn is prosecuted and his family is threatened, and he has to sell his house to pay attorneys, when the original 302s say he open and not lying.
McCabe repeatedly lies, to the Inspector General of all people, and prosecution is declined. The just-us department and the FIB can’t be trusted with the even-handed responsibility of the rule of law. Their reputation cannot be salvaged unless the law is applied equally, not politically like the “Star Chamber” atrocities which our Constitution was designed to prevent.

I haven’y hard anything about prosecuting Smollet for using the US Mail for a fake hate mail scheme. But there is a reason tthat Smolletts Democrat Defenders wanted the FBI to take over the “matter”. The Chiago Police Department (known in the past for corruption) is much more honest than the corrupt DOJ-FBI, which could be relied on deep-six it and cover it up like the Awan spy/theft scandal, the Wolfe FISA release to his paramour, the $150 Milllion bribe to the Clintons for selling US uranium to the Russians, the $10 million Clinton-Fusion-Russian conspiracy to fabricate the “dossier” to affect the 2016 election, Marc Rich bribe for a pardon from Bubba Clinton, etc.
But if an associate of President Trump (or any non-GOPe Republican)
would put insufficient postage on a letter, the DOJ-FBI would storm their house with 50 armed agents and get a democrat-appointed judge to put him/her in solitary confinement to force false testimony that PDJT once double-parked in New York. The DOJ-FBI are beyond repair if the so-far-protected crooked Dem and government perps are not equally prosecuted with the same zeal and intensity as the DOJ-“Special Counsel” conspiracy uses for their “insurance policy” to “get Trump”. The DOJ and FBI are clearly not unbiased or not trustworthy, so juries should stop convicting on untrustworthy or biased or political cases.

Remember when the FBI was headed by a guy who dressed up in women’s clothes for mafia parties? Now they appear to be joined by a biased DOJ which applies the legal process selectively, politically and unequally to protect themselves and their cronies. Sad,, and dangerous to a free republic.

Jessie Liu’s DC, US Attorney’s office is the SAME office that prosecuted the AWAN case. Awan was allowed to plead to one BS count and got time served, plus 3 months probation. Luke Rosiak’s excellent book “Obstruction of Justice” illustrated what a complete travesty of justice this was.

Jessie Liu came from the law firm Morrison & Foerster. In 2005 Morrison & Foerster were listed on the Clinton Global Initiative as “partners” working against human traffickers. (I guess that didn’t include Jeffery Epstein.)

Steven Wasserman, Debbie Wasserman-Shcultz’s brother, is an assistant US attorney in Liu’s office. Awan was represented by Christopher Gowen, a long time Clinton operator, who has represented Bill, Hill, the Clinton Foundation, and Huma Abedine.

No way should Liu be promoted after allowing Awan to skate. In my opinion this was more criminal malfeasance by FBI/Justice. It was just as appalling as the HRC “matter” investigation.

To allow this, Liu is either incompetent, or part of the coup.

This was another totally corrupt non-investigation and it appears the US Attorneys that so called prosecuted it, in my opinion colluded with Awan’s attorney. To make matters worse they obstructed the efforts of Congressman Gohmert and others so that Awan would be sentenced before congress could get any information to stop it.

    2. Trump seems to have kept his enemies close. I imagine if you take over enough large businesses, you realize you can’t fire everyone against you on day one. And if you fire all of the high profile SOB’s immediately, then you have no way of knowing if that pleasant quiet guy in the corner loved his old SOB boss and F’ing hates your guts and is sabotaging you.

But if you leave the SOB’s in place, you can see who supports them, who laughs at their jokes, who gets promoted by them. After a year or so, it would be easy to know who was on board with YOUR vision.

Many years ago floated through a series of previously independent hospitals that had recently merged into one big group. I am convinced that one of the hospitals was the dumping ground where they transferred all the losers to all be laid off when that hospital closed down (hey look! you just got promoted, but you have to work there) I always thought that was smart. Not everyone was a loser there, and I’m sure good employees were just given jobs at the other locations when they shut it down.

Anyways, that’s what it seems like is going on to me.

were promoted were maxxed out on their payscales. Lonnnnggg

after their job description disappeared. In both cases, the firms

One of the promoted persons was a lazy bigoted older black women
