Report: Weissmann Leaving Mueller Team and Justice Department…

According to an NPR report, and confirmed by secondary sourcing, Andrew Weissmann is soon to depart the special counsel probe of Robert Mueller.  According to special counsel spokesman Peter Carr “Andrew Weissmann will be concluding his detail to the Special Counsel’s Office in the near future.”

The intensely political Mr. Weissmann is not just leaving the Special Counsel, he is also leaving his job at the Justice Department.  He will be teaching at NYU.

Additionally, this announcement happens just one day before the March 15th deadline by representatives Jim Jordan and Mark Meadows for new Attorney General William Barr to respond about numerous conflicts of interest surrounding Weissmann and his engagements with the 2016 DOJ election effort to stop Donald Trump.

WASHINGTON DC – One of the most prominent members of special counsel Robert Mueller’s team investigating Russia’s attack on the 2016 presidential election will soon leave the office and the Justice Department, two sources close to the matter tell NPR.

Andrew Weissmann, the architect of the case against former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, will study and teach at New York University and work on a variety of public service projects, including his longstanding interest in preventing wrongful convictions by shoring up forensic science standards used in courts, the sources added.

The departure is the strongest sign yet that Mueller and his team have all but concluded their work.  (read more)

Peter Kadzik was the DOJ employee who gave Podesta heads up about the Clinton emails.

“There is a HJC oversight hearing today where the head of our Civil Division will testify. Likely to get questions on State Department emails. Another filing in the FOIA case went in last night or will go in this am that indicates it will be awhile (2016) before the State Department posts the emails.

As we also reported previously (see below), prior to joining the DOJ, Kadzik was the attorney of Marc Rich, whose records the FBI released yesterday, as well as Podesta; in facat, the Clinton campaign chairman infamously wrote that Kadzik was a “fantastic lawyer” who “kept me out of jail.”

And since we have no reason to doubt his “fantastic” legal skills, perhaps Mr. Kadzik can explain to our readers – and the American public – why this particular message was delivered via his private, gmail account rather than his official DOJ email account?”

      • WSB,
This is explosive stuff. Hopefully Lindsey Graham will notice this given his interest in renewed examination of Hillary email investigation.

Did you note that the corrupt Kadzik was Marc Rich’s attorney? Remember that Rich was one of those pardoned by Bill Clinton as one of his last acts in office…and Rich’s wife Denise contributed $$ to the inexhaustible Clinton coffers.

Weiseman goes on to teach a new crop sociopath lawyers? Are we going to let this be the last entry on his wiki? The very least I expected from Barr was a takedown of Muellers Circus tent … and maybe a couple pelts on the wall. Barr is doing his least so far. Waiting to see if he loosens the security clearance blacklist of MAGA appointees. POTUS is still having to try to git er done with globalist relics and stay behinds from obama clinton and bush.

If what Jack Posobiec is saying is true, that Barr basically shut Mueller down and thats why Weissman resigned, thats very good news.

And if Posobiec truly has a source in the special counsel like he said he does in that video, wow.

Watch the flank, folks. We’re focusing on defending our center against Mueller’s assault, but the real threat may be coming from Robert Khuzami and his team of Preet Baharara prosecutors in SDNY. Barr MUST get control of this rogue operation ASAP (if he hasn’t already).

Before Weissmann joined Robber MuleEar’s herd of angry (D) Donkey lawyers, he worked in the DoJ. If AG Barr simply removed Weissmann from the angry Donkey herd, Weissmann would have reverted to being in the DoJ.

AG Barr told Weissmann to pack his bags. There was no job for him at the DoJ. That amounts to the first of (hopefully) many angry Donkeys from the Doj and FBI as AG Barr cleans house and restores the people’s trust in those organizations.

…as AG Barr cleans house and restores the people’s trust in those organizations.

Personally I do not see how “trust in this organizations” can possibly be restored until the seditionists have been prosecuted and severely penalized for their crimes against the government and the People.

There are many people in prison for crimes far less egregious than what Weissmann, McCabe, Brennan, Clapper, Strzok, Page, B. Ohr, N. Ohr, Rosenstein, and so many others have done. Simple termination is a joke.

That’s like a company firing an employee but not pursuing any damages after the employee embezzled $10M from a company and in the process, cost several other innocent employees their jobs, and destroyed customer relations. Seriously?

That this skunk still has a law license, let alone that he’s still allowed to work as a prosecutor, proves to me how completely corrupt the law industry is. (Just like my late, ex brother-in-law still had a license to write insurance policies after all the corrupt crap HE pulled proved ditto for the insurance industry years ago. The nature of things being what they are, the corruption there is worse today, no doubt.)

  11. Cathryn Herritage just stated that she has the feeling that Muller’s report is extremely long and massive. She says she hates to speculate.

Trump needs to declassify NOW preemptively.

Mueller, Weissmann and the the S.C. team are monsters. How could they produce anything good
Think about it Mueller wanted the maximum 24 years for Manafort before Judge Ellis..

And keep in mind Mueller destroyed the careers of Dr Stephen Hatfill (who sued vor millions) and Dr. Bruce Ivins ( who committed suicide) in the anthrax letters. After Ivins killed himself the FBI announced the case closed. Mueller has no conscience. How can we regain confidence in an FBI that gave us Mueller and Comey OR a DOJ that gave us Holder, Lynch and the nice and good but totally ineffective Sessions

      No R..
“…preventing wrongful convictions” is the quote that stood out most for me as well. Of course he’s indicted and prosecuted many guilty parties but it’s the innocent that he prosecuted to an unjust conviction and the politically one sided indictments within the Witch Hunt that will be his truthful legacy. I wonder if he has ever prosecuted a high or low profile Dem supporter?

I hope Sidney Powell is interviewed soon. I’d like to hear her comments, if she thinks it’s wise to comment on this news.

Guess it’s just better to bellyache and launch verbal tirades at Senators who have amply demonstrated their contempt for us by backstabbing President Trump. Money talks, people.

Weissmann would not be welcome back at DOJ if he wanted to go back. He has no future there based on everything that has been learned about his ethics and leaking. His career there is over.

For similar reasons, any reputable law firm would find him toxic. Having clients requires the keeping of confidences, and whatever people might say publicly, in private they hate leakers. No client would trust him.

“The intensely political Mr. Weissmann is not just leaving the Special Counsel, he is also leaving his job at the Justice Department. He will be teaching at NYU.”
Of course he is, he’ll be in NY, just in time for the Southern District of NY/NY Attorney General’s upcoming and continuing “investigation” of Trump, his businesses, his employees and his family. And, as luck would have it, he’ll be available to help out, being a part time professor…and so close by.
I’m sure both “investigating” entities would be very happy to have a vicious, criminal pit bull who has no moral compass when it comes to ruining peoples lives, to help them try to nail Trump…yet again.

Weissman is nothing more than a Traveling Persecution Show, he goes wherever he’s needed to find a patsy, then threaten their families with ruin if he doesn’t get the dirt he wants..truth be damned.
