Andrew McCabe 60 Minutes Interview – Moments and Excerpts – Also: Did McCabe Leak The Michael Flynn Phone Call?…

McCabe “Duping Delight”

Tonight CBS broadcast a painstakingly edited interview between host Scott Pelley and former Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe.

The transparently political CBS media corporation has skin-in-the-game when it comes to broadcast politics.

Former CBS Vice-President David Rhodes is the brother of President Obama’s senior White House adviser Ben Rhodes.  You might also remember when CBS 60 Minutes intentionally hid a quote from President Obama when Obama denied the Benghazi attack was carried out by “terrorists” [STORY HERE].

60 Minutes has a history of unethical journalistic conduct in covering for the Obama administration.  So it didn’t surprise anyone who follows politics to see Andrew McCabe’s first interview being carried out within this very specific propaganda machine.  Here’s a few “non broadcast” portions of the interview.

NOTE at 03:33 of this video snippet a characteristic called “duping delight“:  The pleasure of being able to manipulate someone, often made visible to others by flashing a smile at an inappropriate moment. [Watch the moment at precisely 03:33]

In this video segment Andrew McCabe says Rod Rosenstein asked him to contact James Comey for advice about appointing a special counsel — after Comey’s firing:

.

Expanded segment where McCabe describes Rod Rosenstein discussing how to use the 25th Amendment to remove President Donald J Trump:

.

Andrew McCabe: Duping Delight

Note from the Office of Inspector General invesgitation, Andrew McCabe has a history of lying to cover his tracks:

.

And don’t forget, Andrew McCabe was also likely the person who leaked the content of the Mike Flynn phone call between Flynn and Russian Abassador Kislyak.  A massive leak of classified information:

Within the case against Michael Flynn…. Prosecutor Brandon Van Grack filed a cover letter attempting to explain the reason for the Flynn interview on January 24th, 2017, and the official filing of the interview notes (FD-302) on February 15th, 2017, and then again on May 31st, 2017.

To explain the FBI delay, Van Grack claimed the FD-302 report “inadvertently” had a header saying “DRAFT DOCUMENT/DELIBERATIVE MATERIAL” (screen grab)

What the special counsel appears to be obfuscating to the court is there was factually a process of deliberation within the investigative unit, headed by FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, surrounding the specific wording of the 302 report on the Flynn interview.

Prosecutor Brandon Van Grack was attempting to hide the length of the small group deliberations. It seemed he did not want the court to know Andrew McCabe was involved in shaping how the Flynn-302 was written.

We know there was a deliberative process in place, seemingly all about how to best position the narrative, because we can see the deliberations in text messages between Lisa Page and Peter Strzok: See below (note the dates):

The text message conversation above is February 14th, 2017. The Michael Flynn FD-302 was officially entered into the record on February 15th, 2017, per the report:

Obviously the interview took place on January 24th, 2017. The FD-302 was drafted on January 24th, and then later edited, shaped, and ultimately approved by McCabe, on February 14th, then entered into the official record on February 15th.

It was a deliberative document from the outset. Thanks to the Strzok/Page text messages we know the cover letter from the Special Counsel is misleading.  The Feb 15th, 2017, date was the day after McCabe approved it.

May 17th, 2017, Robert Mueller was assigned as special Counsel. Then, the FD-302 report was re-entered on May 31st, 2017, removing the header; paving the way for Mueller’s team to use the content therein.

Donor to Clinton Foundation, McAuliffe caught up in Chinese cash-for-votes scandal
McCabe’s husband, Andrew McCabe, was promoted to FBI deputy director and supervised the investigation of Clinton not long after Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, who through his PAC Common Good VA, contributed a total of $675,000 to Jill McCabe’s long-shot bid for a congressional seat.

Promotion was from the Virginia FIB Office, who were in charge of the McAwful investigation. But he said he ‘Recused himself from that Investigation.

“60 Minutes has a history of unethical journalistic conduct “
And not so good on the ‘Sexual Harassment’ thing either.

According to the report, the show’s former executive producer Jeff Fager “engaged in certain acts of sexual misconduct” and apparently turned a blind eye to instances in which others engaged in such behavior. However, the report cautioned that Fager’s predecessor Don Hewitt, who died in 2009 and created the show in 1968, had worse charges against him. The Times said that CBS has been paying out a settlement to a woman since the 1990s after it was discovered Hewitt sexually assaulted her several times. CBS reportedly agreed to pay the woman $450,000 and renegotiated the settlement six times with higher payouts to keep her quiet. In total, she’s received more than $5 million and will receive $75,000 in annual payments until she dies.
While 60 Minutes had a “toxic” work environment for women, the report reads, according to the Times, CBS News didn’t have the same environment.

    • Yes it was. It still won’t save McCabe or the Cabal from the noose. In fact, like ALL the rest of the narcissistic elite, by doing this book and the subsequent MSM “interviews”, McCabe, Comey, and others have inadvertently provided the coming prosecutions… yes, COMING PROSECUTIONS of the Cabal, with exhibits A, B, and all the way through Z that will be entered into evidence. They themselves are providing the rope to hang themselves.

They “think” we are stupid, inbred, hillbilly, smelly Walmart shoppers. We will “fall” for their “excuses” now that they are not only caught, but exposed. They are wrong…DEAD wrong. While these “puff” pieces and books may placate the more myopic and moronic of their base and those in their elite bubble, we the people want JUSTICE. We will DEMAND it. We WILL NOT settle for less. We will NOT accept elitist gobblty gook parcel tongue explanations and excuses.

This was an attempted COUP DE TAT people, weather or not the actual taking of arms was used or not. They used the FULL weight of their offices, the full resources of not only OUR intelligence agencies, and Government, but ALSO FOREIGN intelligence agencies and SPIES. Those foreign intelligences were supposed to be our ALLIES, the fact that they participated WILLINGLY, when they had to KNOW this was ALL bullshit, is an act of WAR. PERIOD.

That and the fact that an ex President, his senior staff, and members of CONGRESS including the LEADERSHIP gang of eight were involved, makes this a WAR, regardless if bullets were used or not. I am sure that the bullets WERE considered. The fact that they casually mention invoking the 25th amendment should speak VOLUMES to that fact.

These people (including BHO) are ALL at LEAST going to prison for the rest of their lives, the materially involved in planning executing, and covering up this coup MUST be put to DEATH, weather by hanging or lethal injection, makes no difference to me.

This is that BIG and that SERIOUS, no matter how they use favorable outlets, journalists, and “spin” to down play or justify it. Don’t forget this folks, there are MANY in the MSM who are ALSO complicit and may face the noose. They too have “skin” in this game, they too WILL pay.

We will not forgive, we will not forget, and we will not FALTER. This IS history folks, this makes Watergate look like a Sunday social after church.

Indeed, a lot of that “problem” is self inflicted by “conservative media” that forever blames any and all corruption in GOVT on LIBDEMS while attempting to white wash the corrupt bush/cheney/romney/mccain and on and on Repubs.

That “problem” stems from the fact that FAKE NEWS has been far too profitable NOT just for the CNN’s but also the Red State radio talking parrots who use the exact same fake news formula only in reverse.

FAKE NEWS is a two way street with the right and left taking equal parts. People like Limbaugh who have rubber stamped approval FOR DECADES for the Bush neo-con globalists charlatans NEED TO START owning their mistakes. ONLY THEN will they start being credible.

I grew up raising sheep on my grandfather’s farm. At feeding time the sheep could be up to a 1/4 mile away and when I called and they heard my voice they would come running. Wide open pastures but single file path to get there. Not so at feeding time. But when we needed to corral them we would surround them and gradually confine them to go through a gate or into the barn. The thing is you did not want an aggressive one or daring one to break through your ranks because all the others would try to follow through that break. Just one could start a melee and then you would have to round them up and start all over. The break would happen when we were closing ranks and there was still space between us that we would have to cover. Once we were tight it was over.
This was back in the 60’s in western Pa. not out west where procedures might be different. As a kid I loved it. Even then you could recognize that a weak link in the corralers or an aggressive sheep were the problem areas. I think the same holds true in our political landscape. The tighter and tighter the herd is confined the lest chance of a break occurring. So I would look for the weak corraler or the aggressive sheep.

While the kabuki is entertaining expecting any kind of rule of law and justice to apply to the Deep State is wishful thinking.

Roger Stone has been indicted for lying to Congress. But not Brennan & Clapper who’ve done the same. Flynn was indicted for lying to the FBI and was threatened with his undeclared consulting for Turkey. AIPAC spends millions each year on political campaigns but are not registered under FARA. K-Street spend hundreds of millions each year on lobbying with money from foreign sources like China, Saudi Arabia & UAE. These sources also fund many think-tanks in DC. But that’s all A-OK.

The Deep State have been on offense with respect to Trump all along. They’ve driven the narrative at all stages. President Trump on the other hand has continually played defense just tweeting witch hunt. It’s his DOJ & FBI with his appointees that have aligned to attempt taking him down and entrenching the unchecked power of the Deep State.

    • Sigh, where to begin. Just because something doesn’t “appear” to be done, does NOT mean nothing is or HAS been done behind the scenes. Just because no one in the Cabal has been indicted YEY does NOT mean they won’t be.

You have “fallen” for the same trick that the Cabal have. They THINK they got away with it, they THINK they are winning. They are about to find out just how WRONG they are. Trump has played the “wounded duck” very well..too well it would appear to some, as even some of his supporters have took the bait.

Did it EVER occur to all you doubters that Trump has ALLOWED the Cabal to “drive” the narrative? did you ever consider that by going OVER the top on people like Cohen, Stone, Manafort, Papadapolous, and Flynn, that the Cabal has inadvertently set PRECEDANT on how THEY will be treated, indicted, tried, and sentenced? I thought not.

See it was perfectly OK to do the things they did to those people, they and the MSM told us so OFTEN. Now, when Cabal members are surveilled, their attorney’s offices raided, their homes raided by armed men at 3 in the morning, what leg do THEY have to complain on? Right, NONE. What was that old saying, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” The Cabal is about to learn that..BIGLY.

Trump has been kicking their asses for nearly 3 years. They have thrown EVERYTHING in their play book at him including the kitchen sink, and NOTHING has stuck. They themselves did indeed set the “narrative” They have screamed and broadcast it 24/7 for 2 years. “Collusion with Russia is BAD” ” We can’t allow foreign interference in our elections” it is impeachable, it is indictable. All we have heard right?

Well, ahem, Trump did not collude or conspire (that, if this was all real, would be the charge NOT collusion), they have looked for it for TWO years and all they have found is that the CABAL DID conspire with Russia, through Steele, Simpson, Clapper, and others.

They did use Five eyes allies and spies to interfere in the election and beyond. They did use our intelligence agencies and Government agencies, as well as CONGRESS in a conspiracy to keep Trump from office, then try to remove him, then cover it up.

Now, by setting the “narrative” what have the Cabal, including the MSM set themselves up for? That’s right…now you start seeing the BIG picture. They have used their own words to set themselves up for their own hanging. (continued)

      • (continued). Now we are in the END game for the Coupists. Trump has “set the hook”. He has ALL he needs now, hence the sudden FLOOD of info being released…ALL OF IT BAD for the Cabal and the Coupists.

Someone has been investigating, gathering, compiling, organizing into coherent texts, and RELEASING this info. WHO? My bet, the erstwhile Mr. Huber. You know, the guy who has been working…silently… with the OIG Horrowitz for the past year.

Huber DOES have suponea powers. Huber CAN convene a grand jury or juries. Huber can INDICT. Horrowitz can investigate and corroborate. All this was done, hard as it is to believe, IN SECRET. Wow, what a novel concept in DC, a truly SECRET operation. NO LEAKS…NONE. WHY?

Perhaps the Cabal THOUGHT they were winning and safe and were going to get away with it AGAIN (like many here and elsewhere did). No such luck this time. They are (shortly ) cooked.

These people had to “appear” incompetent, feckless, weak, and possibly on the same team as the Cabal, to be EFFECTIVE. They too played the wounded duck well. ALL the facts, players, and EVIDENCE, must now be at hand. It is being slowly but steadily spoon fed to we the people. The Hammer is ready to drop, MANY will be shocked when it does, ESPECIALLY the Cabal and the MSM.

It took a LONG time to put this together. It took a LONG time to weed out all or most of the Cabal, and an even LONGER time to identify, isolate, and gather intel on ALL the players. This is going to be HUGE. BIBLICALLY HUGE.

I too wanted swift action, I too wanted justice, I too became despondent at times, I too thought at times they would win, I too thought it was too big to contain let alone stop, even for Trump. I was WRONG. Trump has played the long con on ALL of them, and they, thinking he was Elmer Fudd, bought it hook, line, and sinker. We and they are about to see the fruit of “playing wounded duck”

It will be the MOST watched TV of ALL time when this really hits, despite the MSM being on team Cabal, there are a few who WILL defect, realizing the tide has turned, and there is $$$ to be made, as well as trying to “atone” for their sins. The Cabal IS on the clock, and it is rapidly approaching ZERO.

A Former FBI Agent Battling Deputy Director McCabe Said There Is A ‘Cancer’ Inside The FBI/

    August 30, 2017 09:12 PM EDT

“When the FBI launched an investigation into former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, one of the bureau’s top former counterterrorism agents believed that FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe would have to recuse himself from the investigation.

Former Supervisory Special Agent Robyn Gritz was one of the bureau’s top intelligence analysts and terrorism experts but resigned from the bureau five years ago after she said she was harassed and her career was blocked by top FBI management. She filed a formal sexual discrimination complaint against the bureau in 2013 and it was Flynn, among many others, who publicly came to her aide.

In her first on-camera interview she described the retaliation from McCabe and others in the bureau as “vicious.”

She told Circa, current senior level management, including McCabe, created a “cancer like” bureaucracy striking fear into FBI agents and causing others to resign. She eventually resigned herself, but her case is still pending.

“They’ve poisoned the 7th floor,” said Gritz, referring to the actual floor where management is housed in the FBI’s Hoover Building. “There’s a cancer there of a group of people. You’ve seen it with some of the recent reports of leaks, conflicts of interest, you see it in my case. The level of integrity is lacking. I have never seen or heard of the amount of conflicts of interest, or leading by fear.”

Almost all of the 7th floor were fired or allowed to leave first because of their defense of Hillary. They all got caught for corruption because Hillary thought she could get away with anything and they would protect her. 33,000 emails under a federal warrant deleted and bleachbited, phones smashed, lies to Congress ignored, $5 billion unaccounted for from the State Department while she was Secretary of it, yet she still remains free.
What continues to haunt me is when Hillary was fired for removing documents from the National Archive in order to prevent Nixon from having a lawyer during Watergate. As she was walking out the door with a box of personal possessions, she shouted over her shoulder that she would be back. She said she had met a man in Arkansas who would become president. How did she know that?

Not sure why her comments aren’t interpreted as a bitter, striving, soon-to-be political wife that thought her connected husband would be a big shot and President. Hillary was fired in 1974 (early 1975?) while dating Bill, who she married in 1975 (met him in 1971). Bill spoke openly about his political ambitions at Yale law school and at Oxford. What he really needs to do is send Mueller packing and bring on a couple of new special counsels to gather info from Horowitch & Huber and legitimately investigate the real criminals up to and including Barry, Bill, Hillary, Brennan, Podesta’s, Clapper, contractors, FISA judges, UniParty politicians, etc.

A true investigation would also expose the FISA Court and process as a criminal enterprise as well as exposing illegalities by the CIA and Five Eyes.

I suspect anything Barr does will be at a scale much too small to make a significant difference in rooting out the corruption. It is way to easy for our Government to hide corruption behind national security or claim they are protecting us from ourselves, claiming we can’t handle the truth.

We just had one of the corrupticons describe an attempted coup on the President of the United States on national television! What do we hear? This is (in part) Bill Barr’s Deep State greeting to the DOJ.

It is a long rehearsed, conniving hit job on “evil, stupid Putin pal” Trump to make Barr look very bad to millions just for agreeing to be his A/G and everyone else that works in the WH. But it’s main purpose of course was to disparage and smear Trump, denigrate IG Horowitz and his findings, both to praise and then seriously implicate Rosenstein in the coup and to justify the coup attempt that he initiated due to his emotional, political, displeasure at Trump’s alleged comments.

The glowing O/T comments of McCabe’s CBS accomplices and admirers were likely well rehearsed to embellish McCabe’s credibility. ie. “He is known as an extraordinary briefer…able to distill complex information and deliver it in an understandable and insightful way.” In contrast Trump was promoted as an “unbelievable” out of control buffoon in the “unbelievable” interview of heroic angel McCabe.

Unfortunately, the detailed sequence of events and actions (that sundance added above) will not be read or heard by most people. The Trump admin needs to come out swinging with reasoned arguments and facts. Barr has been formally challenged by Lawfare and the Resistance. How will he react?

Where was McCabe’s concern for USA and the Constitution when Hussein was dismantling both from within and hitlery was murdering Qaddafi, stealing his weapons and assets and invading Syria using our enemy as a proxy and supplying the proxy “army” with weapons, money and training? Oh, snap! He was likely in the ME helping hitlery like a good little minion. Or was he somewhere in USA with DYNCORP employees corrupting another child services agency so he could use the children to corrupt local law enforcement, lawyers, prosecutors, judges, prominent citizens and others so they could be easily co-opted to work in an unconstitutional, illegal and corrupt manner against the citizens and Constitution for the criminal, extra-judicial fascist FBI. What about the AF intel officer he, Comey and Strzok were using to run an intel operation against Iran whom they allowed to defect to Iran. This is just part of the coordinated smear job between Democrats and the media on Trump. Pick a weekend nothing is going on, dead of winter, no football, very little in the news except the hoax by Smollett (which needs a media spin job/coverup anyway) and the Democrats in Virginia, liberals killing Amazon and a green new deal.

If I was a prosecuting attorney the cabal at the FBI would have to explain the illegal leaks to the media. If they were so concerned about Russia and carrying on a serious investigation why were they trying to create a media narrative through selective leaks. Why would Comey state the president isn’t under investigation privately but leak to media something otherwise, same with Andy. Why leak Flynn.

They can plead to being misled by the chaos (which oddly they purposefully caused). Christopher Steele and the seriousness of the charges. But one can square those claims with the media leaks. A serious investigation about our quote “Arch-Eneny Russia – per McCabe) would be by the book, The nature of the leaks prove the intentional conspiracy to take down the president.

Therefore anything he says about Rosenstein is not worthy of consideration. Hearing McCabe throw Rosenstein under the bus makes me think it is more likely that Rosenstein has the goods on McCabe and McCabe needs to discredit him to survive.

Why would Trump attack Rosenstein equally with McCabe in his tweets? Because Trump has to appear not to trust Rosenstein (and by association, Mueller) otherwise the media and the left will always be able to case doubt on the Mueller investigation when it indeed clears Trump of collusion.

The media loves McCabe’s story (as he tells it) because he is purporting to be a hero who wanted to stop Trump, the Russian puppet from ruining America. McCabe gives the media plausible deniability as to why the media duped the American public. “well- even the FBI thought he was a Russian puppet- the evidence was so strong”. Not one adversarial question was posed by Pelley about the dossier, his lying to the IG, his conflicts of interest, his relationship with disgraced Strzok, Page and Baker, or his contradictory testimony in Congress that Sundance wisely pointed out.

To all who think ‘something’ is going to happen to The Deep State coup plotters, well, we shall see.

Me, I am not holding my breath.

There is no voting our way out of this. Plan accordingly.

Great catch, there, Sundance on the “duping delight”. That guy in Colorado who killed his wife and daughters showed the same thing. Note to self: don’t try murdering anyone. You won’t get away with it.

That is what I told my husband. There should never be an unsolved murder in this day and age with tracking satellite, cameras everywhere, and cell phones that save your communications.

Any wife who asks her hubby where he was when he waltzes in at 2 AM can pretty much do the same thing.

Well the message is clear, it's okay to lie if you are the FBI or DOJ!

Other side to your question, Who allowed McCabe to be referred for prosecution, when others haven’t been referred at all?

Referral is not prosecution. And, it’s sure not solitary confinement. McCabe is still walking around free.

I am in complete agreement that others should be referred and prosecuted, today.

So, who is preventing their prosecution?

May have just been for optics since -someone- had to be actually referred for criminal activity. There was too much information in the public domain about the coup.

But as far as I know, no charges were filed. This fits the optics theory,

McCabe is a master criminal and his elevation to Deputy Director was the final phase of the FBI’s metamorphosis into a full blown criminal enterprise. Comey has always been a weasel that worked both sides of the street, and consequently provided a minor brake on institutional corruption within the FBI; but McCabe was bought and paid for by the Clinton Machine and had no such inhibitions. It’s popular now to refer to the sedition as a “soft coup”, but McCabe was prepared to go hot if necessary to protect the Clintons. He was (and is) a clear and present danger to the rule of law.

McCabe may have just handed Trump his biggest gift. 1. McCabe has perjured himself. What he said in his interview with Pelley is inconsistent with prior statements he made under oath. It’s why he backtracked after the interview. We now know McCabe is going to prison, possibly for a very long time. We also know the rats are now turning on each other. 2. If Rosenstein did offer to wear a wire to trap Trump for purposed of removing Trump from office under the 25th Amendment, and if this can be corroborated by at least one more witness, the Rosenstein (the little lying weasel) will go to jail for a very long time. And, if this happened prior to Rosentstein’s appointment of Mueller as Special Counsel then the new AG will have reason to review the classified doucments prepared by Rosenstein defining the scope of the investigation. If there was NO evidence of a crime committed, such evidence coming from a credible source and not a Dossier known to be fabricated and paid for by HRC and the DNC, then then the investigation will be known as a fishing expedition, seeking a crime, not investigating a crime. If this all turns out to be true, then the Mueller investigation will be a sham and Barr will shut it down. 3. I believe the worm is turning and a lot of DOJ/FBI/IC senior officials are headed to prison.

Andy, I would sure like to think your right. The problem with lying, is remembering all your lies. Clearly McCabe, just like Brennan have problems remembering, what they said.

Mueller, had direct involvement in the Uranium One deal and so did Rosenstein. So, I understand their motivation. They are trying, not to go, to jail for what they have already done. The question for me: who has been directing their activities in what appears to be open Treason?

And, more importantly who has been protecting these people from prosecution?

Even if 60 Minutes didn’t flavor the interview a good counter intel guy knows interrogation and counter-interrogation techniques and uses them to his advantage. I’d like to have seen a full figure interview to see if the body language went with the voice and facial expressions and I’s like to see what ended up on the cutting room floor. Then again I’d like to see him renditioned and softened up for a few days before his next ‘interview’.
