    USA successively RATCHETS UP Tariffs:
    • To give China a reason to cease the “Cosmetic Purchases” and “Stall Tactics”.
    • Until they EQUATE to IP Theft Losses.
    • $50 Billion in Annual IP Theft Losses.
    • $50 Billion in ADDITIONAL Annual Tariffs.

Monthly Stats show USA’s China Trade Deficit shrinking FAST.
    • Globalist Manufacturers scramble to Source-Shift out of China.
    • Trump EO to Buy-USA makes Manufacture-Abroad UNSUSTAINABLE.
    • Nationalist Manufacturers race to Produce-in-USA to DISPLACE GLOBALISTS.

China continues to pursue Tit-for-Tat CONCESSIONS, angling for They-Lose-Less.

Trump Trade Team reminds China that they must produce PROBLEM-SOLUTIONS.

Trump triggers China to SOLVE ROGUE STATE PROBLEMS to defer further Tariff Hikes.
    • Venezuela
    • North Korea
    • Pakistan
    • … Iran

Negotiations evolve through successive STAGES as Solutions form for each,
… with Tariffs remaining in place and growing as needed until:
    • “Fair Trade Reciprocity“ Implemented and Compliance Certified.
    … with Complaint Backlog RESOLVED.
    … with Complaint Rate PLUMMETED.
    • “IP Theft Protection” Implemented and Theft Elimination Certified
… for forced technology transfer and intellectual property rights.
… for cyber hacking, cyber theft and technological entanglement.
… for forced corporate ownership and institutional infiltration.
… with sale and use of Stolen IP TERMINATED.
    • “National Security Protection” Achieved
… with Huawei and ZTE BANNED
… from Western World Networks & Telecommunications.

China will need to FIRST deliver CHANGE
    … with Certified Compliance
… to EARN the Deal that REMOVES Tariffs.

The longer this takes, the further the Western World moves for National Security:
    • Removal of Chinese Managers and Staff from non-Chinese COMPANIES.
    • Removal of Chinese Technology from non-Chinese PRODUCTS.
    • Removal of Chinese Students from non-Chinese UNIVERSITIES.
    • Elimination of Chinese Ownership of non-Chinese ASSETS and BUSINESSES.

    • Coulter is a smart cookie. She knows exactly what she is doing. She is filling a necessary niche for the LEFT right now. She is playing “The Good Heel” routine because even bad publicity is good publicity and sells books. How many Trumplicans are out there playing on the other side of the fence right now? It’s ALL Ann!
Besides that, Ann keeps PDJT within the guard rails to a certain extent when no one else will criticize him and so that he actually hears her. She has a voice that gets through to POTUS past all the fray even if it isn’t kindly, it keeps his feet to the fire. There are plenty sycophants that won’t ever criticize anything he does even when he might need a little course correction.
It’s the check on his comment, ” I can shoot someone in the middle of the street and everybody will still love me”. Not so fast. Keep your feet on the ground and your head in the game Mr. President.
He is still the best President in modern history.
      Thank God for him!

This is off base. Coulter does not keep the President “between the rails” She has zero influence on him, nor do other so called journalists.

        Ann Coulter’s schitk is crisis.
So is Rush Limbagh’s and Levin’s to a point. In that their survival depends on the President doing something they perceive to be wrong. If something is not wrong, they make up some crisis.

This is their business. This is the way they sell books, keep listeners on the radio.

Ann Coulter is full of herself. She is obsessed with her hair, and is now just an old single woman who is past her time. Her loyalty to the President is for profit only like all her former boyfriends who threw her to the side of the road.

        She’s irrelevant.

I agree with you completely here.

      • CountryClassVulgarian says:

As you say there is nothing wrong with criticizing the President. Ann Coulter is not criticizing. She is being downright rude and nasty. She calls him a lunatic, incompetent and lazy. Yes, the one man who is fighting the entire hoard of the deep state in order to preserve the country’s sovereignty is lazy. I have heard Ann “criticize” republicans. I have heard Ann “criticize” the left. I have never heard her use the kind of vitriol she is throwing at President Trump. It is totally uncalled for. She knows full well she will get lauded for it because it is in vougue now to use the most vile, insulting rhetoric against this President.

    • wj2016 says:

Coulter’s issue is immigration. She lives in California and has seen up close the devastation that un-checkeck immigration is doing to the politics, the people and the environment of California. There is no issue more important. Not trade, not prison reform, not tax cuts. Uncontrolled immigration will end this country.

Yeah well, her problems is she intentionally misleads people about how gov’t works…and frankly lies her ass off. Calling this bill amnesty is bs. She talks shit about the President’s kids, insults him terribly and in disgusting fashion. She IS the lefts useful idiot Just ugly the way she talks about our President, disgusting. Immigration is important, but so is trade and both equally have the dire need for attention for the possibility for loss of the country. You can’t be one issue…you can’t send all our wealth and industries to Mexico and China and have us survive as a country! CHina is a communist super-power hell bent on surpassing us, and they came close to doing it!

and BTW, the President doesn’t listen to anyone, sometimes I wish he would lol…..but he doesn’t. He goes with his gut no matter what anyone says. This Kushner bs is WAY out of line.

My Dad was a Goldwater guy, campaigned for him, I remember our hall closet was full of yard, signs and bumper stickers.

He was driving in his car, litening on the radio, and impatient to hear Goldwater, as he knew it was gonna be a barnburner.

Didn’t pay attention to WHO, (when they intro’d keynote) cause didn’t CARE; He wanted to hear Barry.

30 seconds into keynote, he pulled of into parking lot, listening in awe. When it was done he said to himself “WHO the Hell WAS that?! and when the announcer told, he said “Ronald REAGAN?! It was, until 2016 the greatesy political speech expounding Conservative view ever! Better even than Goldwater, and as you can see, he was GOOD!
      Reagans “A time for Choosing”.
First there was Goldwater. 20 years later, Reagan. And now we have PDJT.
All 3 represent points in a continuum.

Fred Trump actually loaned Goldwater a plane, when he had to get somewhere right away to get his name on a state ballot. Funny old world,…

The split between Republican party base, and leadership has been long brewing.

          The split between activist base, and leadership of Democrat party, also long simmering, for same reason;

Uniparty; each face USES its base, promising to move thebases agenda, while both faces actually move the UNIPARTY agenda, and screw their bases.

1964, Rep. base rebelled, by nominating Goldwater.
In 1968, the Dem activist base rebelled, by burning down the house at the Chicago convention.

          Much like Tea party and Occupy movement. This battle is nothing new;
The FBI “bugged” Goldwaters campaign plane!
          NOTHING new!

I guess the new part would be that it was not actually Johnson paying the FBI to bug Goldwater’s plane? Or was it?

If it was – maybe what happened to Candidate PDJT was not quite as historical as we think – though certainly no less abhorrently criminal.

          • pyromancer76 says:

My only complaint about this history is to think in more detail about “the Dem activists” in 1968. In my experience these were the communists masquerading as “liberals” and unfortunately this was the beginning of demonizing “liberal” (sneaky communist purpose). Too few wanted to separate the tryannists from those who wanted control over the crony corporatists, banksters, and military-industrial complex, Too bad conservatives then and classical liberals then could not have made common cause. It has taken Pres Trump’s pragmatic, patriotic MAGA movement to do so. Unfortunately it is very late in the game. Lots of prayer, faith, hope, and ever more brilliant tactics needed.

In the 1870s President Grant, having completed his second term, took a two year trip around the world. He subsequently wrote a narrative of the journey, which is worth reading. Although he did not meet the Emperor (still a small child), he hit it off well with Viceroy Li Hong Zhang (he had put down the Tai Ping rebellion). The Manchu government knew that Grant was heading to Japan, and asked him to intervene on their behalf in the dispute with Japan over the Ryuku islands. Btw Grant and the Japanese Emperor shook hands, the first time the Emperor had ever done so.

I did not see associated orgs named in that article in AOC’s contributor list on open secrets.org.

One common denominator of these new upstart candidates is the heavy percentage of out of state contributors to their campaigns. This gave them huge war chests to finance endless ads, esp. close to election day. We’re going to have to think seriously about the imbalance between Demon-rat campaign funds and those of the Republicans in the next cycle..

Note that open secrets also shows the % contribution by a particular contributor, for example Apple (almost 100% to Dems), Yelp, MoveOn, and then the list of universities and such entities as:
“State of Alaska” (I guess this is employees of the state? why they contributed to AOC’s campaign is beyond me)
U.S. Gov’t (ditto my what the heck question!)

The swamp runs deep with these folks.

指桑骂槐 (pointing at the mulberry to revile the ash)

You will have to bear with me, but this is trade war related. Except that the mulberry is the UK and the ash (or locust tree) is the US.

Several new developments in the South China sea– disputed islands claims and the subsequent militarization of said islands and the freedom of navigation ops (FONOPS)– has raised the ire of Xi Mao 2.0.

Adm. Phil Davidson, the commander of U.S. INDOPACOM, said South China Sea FONOPS will continue and will include allies and partners, according to the USNI (https://news.usni.org/2019/02/12/41070). He is requesting more funding for this vital mission.

Also announced, “The HMS Queen Elizabeth, the United Kingdom’s newest aircraft carrier, will make its debut operational mission this year with a complement of U.S. fighter jets, British Defense Secretary Gavin Williamson announced this week.

The Queen Elizabeth will carry both British and American F-35 Lightning II fighter jets on upcoming patrols, Williamson said during a speech Monday at the Royal United Services Institute for Defense and Security Studies.

Williamson said the mission will include a patrol through the Pacific Ocean, where the U.S. has been conducting freedom-of-navigation operations within 12 nautical miles of the Spratly and Paracel island groups in the South China Sea, both claimed by China.”

China’s reaction to this announcement was to cancel trade talks risking Britain’s chances to access Chinese markets worth billions. China’s Deputy PM Hu Chunhua cancels trade talks with Philip Hammond in protest at Gavin Williamson’s pledge to send @HMSQNLZ to the Pacific

Coming back to the Chinese saying and a very ancient stratagem (revived during the Cultural Revolution to attack Mao) for dealing indirectly with the real target of your anger, by pointing a finger at or punishing a proxy.

Xi Mao 2.0 in the midst of the trade negotiations with the US, needs to compartmentalize the SCS issues with the US until some successful conclusion is achieved. The SCS is squarely in the realm of National Security to Xi as is the trade war. The two issues are joined.

Further to that post, The Asia Times has this report that the US is eyeing new bases in Asia Pacific to counter Chinese aggression.

“Concerns Raised As Australian Port Rolls Out Red Carpet for Chinese Investment”
    Yasuto Tanaka February 2, 2019 6:27 pm

As you may be aware the Chinese influence campaign (bribery in politics) and buying up Australian assets is big news in Australia.

Another aspect of this is in the port at Darwin, close to a staging area for US military operations.
Australia needs to deal with this takeover of their politics, civil society and strategic assets by China.

I was extremely upset to see comments by Dick Cheney’s cardiologist regarding President Trump’s medical information –

I had the tv on briefly this afternoon, just checking the news and stopped at CNN for a moment when I saw they were discussing comments by Dick Cheney’s cardiologist about the health of our President –

the name of this doctor is Jonathan Reiner and I found through Google that he wrote a book WITH Dick Cheney about Dick Cheney’s heart disease over the decades (found info re the book on Amazon)

so what I want to know is this, if Dr. Reiner is worried about the health of the President and thinks it is perfectly all right for him to publicly speculate about something “being hidden” then why the hell didn’t he raise holy hell about Dick Cheney? Dick Cheney already had a known history of heart disease when he rain in 2000 with GWB. Why did his doctor not tell him that being VP was too much stress or perhaps it was irresponsible for him to take the job of VP?

I don’t remember this doctor raising questions about President Clinton’s health records – and what do we know about President Obama’s health records?

See, that’s what reeks of Swampiness in this – and where is Dick Cheney? Why doesn’t he yank his doctor’s chain and tell him that is not right?

I also want Liz Cheney to stand up against this and disavow this doctor – SO WHAT if he and her dad wrote a book together, big deal! Does Liz Cheney also think this is a good thing for this doctor to do, when he didn’t speculate about Clinton or Obama? But basically, that he was okay with her Dad being VP notwithstanding his heart problems?

I also want the RNC to come out with a statement on this – please, Mrs. Ronna Romney McDaniel, repudiate this doctor and also tell the Cheneys to stand with the President and don’t be a party to this BS.

    So swampy! Such an outrage!

We have the technology ! We have the capability ! But do we have the will ? Its obvious to anyone with an I.Q. above room temperature employed in the private sector this “crisis” is one of ” power ” and
“treasure” . The cartels have the means to dispense treasure to their friends. And their “product ” – human and chemical – is directed to the gerrymandering of our Republic’s election process on a national scale . IOW, cartel cash is buying the political power to fundamentally change America !

I am so disappointed in the so called MAGA team spirit . Are people not able to read ? I read the Presidential statement . I read it twice . Basically Trump IS CONFIDENT that he WILL get this job done . Why , because as Comander in Chief , he has limitless authority to protect this country from foreign invaders , regardless of what the stupid FUNDING BILL which expires in 7 month says ! Crumple it up and throw it in the trash , it is useless ! Congress DOES NOt have the power to change ANY POLICY undermining the President’s ability to protect the country . AT BEST , they can kick and scream asking to be consulted and listened to but they have ZILCH authority to enact ANYTHING at the border . The BILL was a necessary GRANDSTAND on the part of Uniparty that means NOTHING !!! It was merely the vehicle to get Trump enough money to fund the wall through the end of September . Learn to read folks . Can you say CHECKMATE ?? And that is even WITHOUT the Emergency order coming into play , that is strictly for the next phase ! I LOVE THIS GENIUS we elected , get back on board you lazy bums out there who are listening to Ann Coulter and don’t want to do your own research , c’mon you guys are smarter than that !!

    Earth to sheep.

Know this; you are under assault. You are being disenfranchised with your own federal dollars. Those states are drawing apportionment to reduce your representation and they are funding partially from the federal treasury (I think this should be challenged by a state against another state, with the fed as an agent).

The game being played is vast deep and endish.

Do you not see the constant draw left? Anything is left. It is against normal. Normal includes the poor. This is fundamental.

I am not saying to denounce anything but to realize in this game you need cover to appear midway. That is how perverse this is.

Wake up. If no one says the policies should be more nationalist how are they to be defended against the media onslaught.

Or are you all nicely tucked in in a red state away from all harm and affront? I assure u it will not be for long if you keep this up.

English as the sole language for schools, newspapers and other usage in this country was urged by Theodore Roosevelt in an address here tonight under the direction of the National Security League …

In voicing his approval of the recent proclamation by Gov. Harding, ordering that English be the only medium of instruction in public or private schools in Iowa, Col. Roosevelt said:

“This is a nation — not a polyglot boarding house. There is not room in the country for any 50-50 American, nor can there be but one loyalty — to the Stars and Stripes.”

I have been re-reading a book called Theodore The Great by Daniel Ruddy and, I have to say, if I hadn’t known it was about TR I would have thought I was reading a biography of PDJT. The parallels of both men are mind blowing. I really believe that President Trump should nix the Andrew Jackson portrait and statue in the Oval Office and replace it with ones of Roosevelt.

As we gear up for 2020 I think we need to really identify, via pictures, names and examples the key GOP Rhinos that need to be voted out come 2020. (We can work on 2024 later) but now really focus on educating the American people who these anti-Trumpers are, label them and use every avenue we can to get them out of office.

Keep it concise to the top 10-12 at first so this movement doesn’t get lost in so many names.

Get Hannity, Bongino, Rush, Laura, Hemingway, Powers and many others to organize and help spread the word that THESE Rhinos MUST go now!

Now clearly part of this strategy is if the MAGA newcomers sense that there is a movement of change then maybe more super quality MAGA candidates will come out and run but they need to see there is a ground swell movement but in order to give this time we need to get moving on this labeling plan.

Just like we have identified the players in the Russian Collusion fraud we create our own “Get em Out” board / thread where we post clear examples on why they must go and also begin to identify the real MAGA candidate to get behind in that state/district and we feed to the radio/TV personalities who are 100% behind PT so they too can help drive this movement.

I think it starts with this group agreeing first who our top dirty dozen are that we want to name as our “vote em out” primary targets.

I think we can all agree the first one on that list must be McConnell.

  47. Here’s a very important article from the Federalist that brings up an urgent point in light of what happened yesterday. The article, “Trump needs to stop Universal Injunctions….”

What is referred to is how one lousy, lib judge in some district court we never heard of, can bring to a screeching halt anything that our President Trump orders or whatever policy he tries to implement.

“if President Trump wishes to achieve his goals now and in the future, particularly in national security and foreign policy, he must challenge the tool the Resistance most uses to thwart him: Universal injunctions.”

“The concept of universal injunctions would shock most Americans. Such injunctions permit a single one of the more than 600 federal district judges overseeing the case of a single party to block the executive branch from enforcing or implementing a law, regulation, executive order, or policy for every American across the country over the typically many years the case is litigated.”

The Portland, Oregon, City Council voted to pull out of the FBI-led Joint Terrorism Task Force on Wednesday, after rejoining the partnership four years ago. Commissioners voiced their distrust of the agency and of President Donald Trump in arguing for the withdrawal, which will end the cooperation between local police and federal law enforcement.
