Thanks be to God that the Christian faith was proudly proclaimed, the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was hallowed and revered over the past few days as part of the Bush funeral. The Lord’s Prayer was beautifully sung by Reba McIntyre, grown men wept at the thought of eternal life in Heaven for those that believe, heads across this nation bowed in their homes and hearts were humbled, even for a brief moment.

America’s heart was lifted when we saw our marvelous young military members perform sacred and respectful services for a fallen president, our flag, our solidarity and our values. This is why we want to be selective, careful and sure that whomever enters our country will commit and strive to preserve these, our sacred traditions and heritage.

George H.W. Bush’s finest accomplishment, IMO, was in death because for a few brief moments in time, during our Advent season, some swords were laid down, some hearts turned to their Creator, some pause was taken in our usual 100 mph daily pace. Some that have never stepped foot inside a beautiful church or haven’t for a long time marveled at the majesty of brick and mortar built to God’s glory. The pastor from St. Martin’s was endowed by his Creator, perhaps more so this week, to proclaim The Word with boldness, joy, humor and great confidence.

It was a wonderful moment for Christians around the world. Now, we return to the mundane, the blasphemy, the media swords are again lifted in battle. As Jesus implored His Father, “forgive them, for they know not what they do.”.

For the rest of us, whether it’s Grandma Covefe here each day, nudging us to prayer, or other Christian soldiers fighting the good fight, may we all follow that advice on a little plaque H.W. gave his pastor. It said to proclaim Christ Jesus and to use words when necessary.

My father, born in 1909, was in the Army stationed at Schofield Barracks when our ships were bombed. He said that all the rifles were locked up so that they couldn’t shoot at the zeros flying close to the ground. In his words, the grounds were well “policed” so they couldn’t even throw rocks at them.

My father was there, too, a Master Sgt. He said they had been on alert and doing tactical maneuvers for months, then they took all weapons and sent all men on leave. He said the scramble and devastation that ensued was heinous. He survived, many did not. He went on to Guadalcanal and then to the ETO. Wound up in the OSS and it took an act of congress to get out of that and he left the military after 13 years of service. He never talked about anything unless he was with his buddies and sharing a beer or two, so we only have bits and pieces of what he went through and thought.
I will say this, when Reagan chose Bush as VP, my dad was so mad he spit. He didn’t say anything, he spit and went for a walk.

I didn’t know the dynamics at that time: I liked Reagan and did vote for him, I didn’t feel the VP was important, but by the time Bush ran I did not vote for him, didn’t vote for POTUS just the down ticket.
I was too busy raising a family for politics, I just remember my father’s anger, he didn’t say anything- the spit said it all for us (my brothers, sister, mom, and me) later his angry words in another language we didn’t know (he spoke 7 languages fluently) well, again we did know some of the curse words and the vehement used to say them. We heard that same vehement when Reagan was shot, and before that when Kennedy was shot. We all felt my father was right: he told us how it would unfold, that enough would be left unsaid or investigated to cast a long shadow that would never be penetrated to get the truth: new definition of that practice: create “conspiracy theories” and then dismiss them.

Shame on Paul Ryan and others in a Republican held House that permitted, applauded and signed checks for this massive waste, not to mention for presiding over a so-called investigation built on sinking sand, designed not for truth and justice but for evil, destruction and division.

Mr. President, they will not fund The Wall. Paul Ryan did his utmost to block the necessary funding, giving little squirts of cash instead of manning up, funding the entire w
Wall at the get-go and by now, 2 years later, construction would be nearing completion.

Congress as a whole does not want The Wall. They are too beholden to No Countries/ Open Borders corporations, Wall Street, Koch Bros and Soros to stand with you 100% on it. Somehow they applaud when thru taxation and regulation they shutter businesses and factories here, ship our jobs overseas, then in the next breath say we need an unimpaired invasion of millions of dependent, uneducated people to “fill jobs Americans won’t do”.

If our border is to be secured with a wall then it will have to be built with private funding, land owner by land owner. Private equity will have to be sought and each owner of border land must be compensated by that equity source for having The Wall on their property. We’re doing the same thing across the country with wind turbines.

I think it is way past time to require ‘transfer fees’ on money being sent out of country, particularly to Mehico. Use that money to build the wall. Americans are also eager and willing to pony up some bucks specifically ear-marked for wall construction. Heck, many are willing to go to the border states and help in the building. Let’s roll!

Now that the military is on the border, and some may need to be added, there will be a point where the wall will be cheaper. I think that we even HAVE them there is key. Pre-caravan, no one thought that would ever happen. We have troops in other countries sustained for decades. The American people are slowly getting used to the idea, and with some sustained news reporting (like the one on how 62% of illegals are on assistance would be helpful.

Federal Judge Opens Discovery Into Clinton Email Usage
    DECEMBER 06, 2018

Court Excoriates Obama State Department/Justice Department for Possibly Acting in “Bad Faith” and Colluding “to Scuttle Public Scrutiny” of Clinton Private Email Server

Court Criticizes Current Justice Department for “Chicanery”

District Court Judge Lamberth Orders “Proposed Plan and Schedule for Discovery Within Ten Days”

Discovery Must Also Explore Whether Clinton Intentionally Used Private Email Server to “skirt FOIA”

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that, in a ruling excoriating both the U.S. Departments of State and Justice, U.S. District Court Judge Royce C. Lamberth has ordered both agencies to join Judicial Watch in submitting a proposed schedule for discovery into whether Hillary Clinton sought to evade the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) by using a private email system and whether the State Department acted in “bad faith” by failing to disclose knowledge of the email system. The decision comes in a FOIA lawsuit related to the Benghazi terrorist attack.

    Specially, Lamberth ruled:

… the Court ORDERS the parties to meet and confer to plan discovery into (a) whether Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email while Secretary of State was an intentional attempt to evade FOIA; (b) whether the State Department’s attempts to settle this case in late 2014 and early 2015 amounted to bad faith; and (c) whether State has adequately searched for records responsive to Judicial Watch’s requests.

Terming Clinton’s use of her private email system, “one of the gravest modern offenses to government transparency,” Lamberth wrote in his MEMORANDUM OPINION:

… his [President Barack Obama’s] State and Justice Departments fell far short. So far short that the court questions, even now, whether they are acting in good faith. Did Hillary Clinton use her private email as Secretary of State to thwart this lofty goal [Obama announced standard for transparency]? Was the State Department’s attempt to settle this FOIA case in 2014 an effort to avoid searching – and disclosing the existence of – Clinton’s missing emails? And has State ever adequately searched for records in this case?

[More of Lamberth’s ruling at above Judicial Watch webpage].

Feds Received Whistleblower Evidence In 2017 Alleging Clinton Foundation Wrongdoing/

BY JOHN SOLOMON, OPINION CONTRIBUTOR — 12/06/18 04:30 PM EST 2,486 THE VIEWS

“When a House subcommittee chairman bangs his gavel next week to convene an unprecedented investigative hearing into the Clinton Foundation, two questions will linger as preeminent: Is the Clinton family charity really the international do-gooder that earned a perfect four-star rating from Charity Navigator, or does it suffer from corruption and illegalities as conservatives allege? And if it is the latter, how much evidence of wrongdoing does the government possess?

The answer to the first question is that the foundation and its projects reported collecting about $2.5 billion to help global crises, from AIDS to earthquakes, even as its own auditors, lawyers and employees privately warned of problems over the years.

The answer to the second question may reside in 6,000 pages of evidence attached to a whistleblower submission filed secretly more than a year ago with the IRS and FBI.

That evidence was assembled by a private firm called MDA Analytics LLC, run by accomplished ex-federal criminal investigators, who alleged the Clinton Foundation engaged in illegal activities and may be liable for millions of dollars in delinquent taxes and penalties.”

“I Know Where All The Bodies Are Buried”: Clinton Foundation CFO Spills Beans To Investigators

The CFO of the Clinton Foundation, [Andrew Kessel]thinking he was “meeting an old professional acquaintance,” admitted to investigators that the charity had widespread problems with governance, accounting and conflicts of interest, and that Bill Clinton has been commingling business and personal expenses for a long time,

Kessel told MDA “There is no controlling Bill Clinton. He does whatever he wants and runs up incredible expenses with foundation funds, according to MDA’s account of the interview. “Bill Clinton mixes and matches his personal business with that of the foundation. Many people within the foundation have tried to caution him about this but he does not listen, and there really is no talking to him.”

MDA compiled Kessel’s statements, as well as over 6,000 pages of evidence from a whistleblower they had been working with separately, and which they filed secretly over a year ago with the FBI and IRS. MDA has alleged that the Clinton Foundation engaged in illegal activities, and may owe millions in unpaid taxes and penalties.

They’re there to maintain the managerial and — oversee the managerial integrity and to ensure the internal controls over what each branch of government — each — excuse me, each department of the government does.

That was not something we assigned them to do. That is up to the inspector general himself. They found that we had espionage vulnerabilities. I cannot ignore the inspector general. So the court has come in with their direction. So our lawyers are having to sort this out right now. I don’t have a good — a complete answer for you at this time. |

      Note:
More concerning if you factor the prior discovery of our mil. being infiltrated (in Aug 2017). It resulted in the immediate suspension of a program that allowed illegals to enlist in exchange for citizenship. Did the courts overturn that too?

According to Neil Bush, his brother, Jeb Bush couldn’t be reached the night their father passed away…. because Jeb was SLEEPING!

Jeb Bush woke at 4am and turned on the television and that is how he learned of his father’s passing.

    Wow!

Apparently Jeb turns off all his “equipment” each night before going to bed. I find this so strange being that his 94 year old father had been very sick and was in and out of the hospital several times within the past few months. Why would Jeb not be prepared for an emergency call?

And what if his own children have some kind of emergency during the night? Does this mean that they, too, would be unable to reach their parents?

I can understand Jeb Bush wanting some quiet time, but you’d think he would have a better plan than just shutting off all his equipment for the night.
Seems like he could certainly afford a private line for family, you know, just in case of an emergency.

Remember all that talk during the campaign about who we would rather have answering the 3am call, Donald Trump or Drunk As A Skunk Hillary? The thought of “nobody” answering the phone never even occurred to me…until now. Can you imagine?!?!

Prisoners were actually crying when captured….about all their own fate of just surviving..and their fellow soldiers murdered when trying to surrender.

But the planes kept flying….killing thousands…..He knew it and he did not order them to stop. One portion was called “The Highway of Death”

He then worked with Clinton to defeat Ross Perot, who told us all what was going to happen as a result of the “free trade” deals being stuffed down the throats of the American people. NAFTA

Kind of disappointed with the camera work. They also chose to show a nightly program, with only a very small picture-in-picture insert of the train, instead the final 10 minutes of the funeral train processional, which was the best part of the trip.

People like Pelosi never get past the first thought and have no clue on causal effect.

Novaya Gazeta talked to experts who said that, in reality, many of these deals may not have ever been done. Instead, deals like this are often just fake paper trails to explain payments from other sources.

Some of these companies were initially connected to the Troika Dialog investment fund, which was controlled and run by Sberbank after the bank bought the Troika Dialog investment bank. Troika and Sberbank declined to comment.

  26. “Then, when asked whether Trump has kept his promises, the usually quick-witted and long-winded Carlson had just one word: “No.””

    ….

““His chief promises were that he would build the wall, defund Planned Parenthood and repeal Obamacare, and he hasn’t done any of those things,” Carlson said, adding that those goals were probably lost causes. Trump, he said, doesn’t understand the system, and his own agencies don’t support him.

“He knows very little about the legislative process, hasn’t learned anything, hasn’t surrounded himself with people that can get it done, hasn’t done all the things you need to do, so it’s mostly his fault that he hasn’t achieved those things,” he added.

He has come to believe that Trump’s role is not as a conventional president who promises to achieve certain things and then does. Instead, it’s to “begin the conversation about what actually matters.””

“he called Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and her socialist group “the future.” He also criticized the Republican Party, suggesting that it “will die” if it doesn’t begin to fairly represent middle-class American voters.

“The elite in our country is physically separated in a way that’s very unhealthy for a democracy,” he said. Rural America is “really falling apart,” he said, adding that “if you’re running the country, you should have a sense of that.””

Die: Apart from asking these very important questions has he really achieved nothing?

TC: Not much. Not much. Much less than he should have. I’ve come to believe he’s not capable of it.

Die: Why should he be not capable?

TC: Because the legislative process in this country by design is highly complex, and it’s designed to be complex as a way of diffusing power, of course, because the people who framed our Constitution, founded our country, were worried about concentrations of power. They balanced it among the three branches as you know and they made it very hard to make legislation. In order to do it you really have to understand how it works and you have to be very focused on getting it done, and he knows very little about the legislative process, hasn’t learned anything, hasn’t and surrounded himself with people that can get it done, hasn’t done all the things you need to do so. It’s mostly his fault that he hasn’t achieved those things. I’m not in charge of Trump.

I voted for President Trump because I know his personality very very very well. I know the things he can do with sheer determination. ..My Father could have been his brother in every sense. My Father was brilliant, he was an entrepreneur and to date I have never seen anyone with the innate ability to solve ” unsolvable problems”. Trump is from the same cloth…

However, my Dad had the ability to do an about face on a dime if the situation warranted it, He was owner/Operator. Trump has Congress….

If Dad wanted something changed it better be changed, and it got changed tout de suite. If any of his employees DEFIED him on it… I would have had to stop multiple homicides. He used to say ” Employment is not is not a democracy, it is a dictatorship. In that the Boss says, what time to be there, what to do and how to do it much you will be paid for doing it.

I do not think he was trashing President Trump– I think he was expressing a thought process, on how important the WALL is to Americans and what has the potential to happen IF the wall is not built.

            Trump KNOWS this.

I think he meant in the way, “when you’re up to your neck in alligators, it’s hard to remember that your initial objective was to drain the swamp.

It is easy to lose sight of one’s initial objective, ( not that Trump has ) becoming caught up in subtasks or in tasks only tangentially related to the original goal.

I see Trump fighting every single day and I am humbled by it, that does not mean there is not room to say hey.. what about this.

Personally I think he should have shut the Gov down over the funding for the wall– however, I am aware it is weeks until Christmas, and it is not the best time to pick this fight… the issue is in Jan we have the LIBS with control over the house. I am prepared for gridlock and lots of stupid – because these stupid people will not budge one inch with this President, if it means a WIN for Trump and is seen as such.

            • Sayit,
I agree with what you said about your Dad’s view regarding employer being dictatorship.

Having said that, your Dad will agree that he would not be able to dictate much in a joint ownership firm where his word is not final say.

E.g. let us say your Dad says no more hiring of illegals and the other two says we will hire only them or none at all. This friction now reaches a point where the firm needs new employees to keep it afloat. The other two are willing to bankrupt and fold the firm. What do you think your Dad will do? Let us make it a little more interesting, let us say that your Dad is the one third owner because 50% of the employees chose him to be the one third owner because of your Dad’s view of not hiring a single illegal any more.

I hope you understand my intention here is not to make it personal for you but trying to equate the situation that President Trump is in. I am sure President Trump share your Dad’s view about employer being a dictator. I think all business owners will agree to that. I think that is why President Trump is able to deal with China and NK so effectively. As a business owner will you like to make deals with boss who has final and only say or you would deal with a “boss” who will tell you for your every proposal that “Hey this is great but I will have to first go back and get approval from my board of members?” In first scenario we get results at Trump-speed. In second scenario we get results at typical government speed. I think we are lucky that as business man President Trump dealt with both types of “bosses”.

Once again, my comment is not meant to make it personal for you. Our Dad’s and Mom’s are always and forever our heroes.

I’ve been keeping a copy of Kiplings “A Song in Storm” on my desk. Written during WWI, it’s a wonderful poem about how in a war it seems that even the elements conspire against us, and yet, the war is more than those who fight it. He closes the poem with this verse:

Be well assured, though in our power
      Is nothing left to give
But chance and place to meet the hour,
And leave to strive to live.
Till these dissolve our Order holds,
      Our Service binds us here.
      Then welcome Fate’s discourtesy
      Whereby it is made clear
How in all time of our distress,
      As in our triumph too,
The game is more than the player of the game
And the ship is more than the crew!

‘China-Executives Disappear or Get Arrested One by One’

      By AskBrokers.com

“We have previously written about how the screws are tightening around Chinese companies from the Chinese state. Example of this is Alibaba (BABA US) founder Jack Ma surrendering control of the company. We have also covered the massive risk for international investors with the VIE structure of assets in China, with the arrest in the U.S. of JD.Com (JD US) founder on rape charges. It now appears that the Chinese government is stepping up its efforts to take control of Chinese companies. Most recently the head of Alibaba’s online video platform Youku was arrested on corruption charges.”

“The Chinese government appears to be stepping up its efforts to fully control all Chinese companies through either arrest or restriction of movement for their leaders. This on top of taking control of various assets. With the arrest of Huawei’s CFO, these arrests and further control could spill over to the U.S. executives. Question is will the Chinese government actions increase and how that will affect both Chinese and U.S. companies”

        Exactly this.

Every time a “conservative” sells a book, they have to virtue signal that they are more conservative than anyone else. So, it’s time for Tucker to hit the president on not getting enough done for the right.

That doesn’t mean he doesn’t believe what he’s saying, but the public airing of the comments is to ensure potential right-wing book buyers that YOU are the true conservative and you care about issues like immigration and defunding Planned Parenthood, even if POTUS supposedly does not care.

As you said, this is the perpetual Ann Coulter formula. And that’s why the press and trolls love to play Coulter (or Tucker here) off Trump, to try to peel Trump’s base away from him.

        Formulaic.

While Anne is her own thinker, Tucker has always been too cute by a few on key reports and interviews to be a trustworthy person.

Anything that you or I or anyone in this refuge can learn and be aware of, someone in his position can easily learn as well. Then ask yourself if knowing what you know based on evidential facts, would you say some of the things that these “journalists ” say?

Occams Razor says that 95% of the time these people know even more than we know. Why would they then act in this way? Only two possibilities are personal motivations or coercion from outside source.

If your only motivation is to seek and speak the truth, it will show in your actions.

      • How Trump can “Do More”

1 – shut down all imports until the donor class bend the knee on immigration.
They will go full nuclear, but it will take 1 year at least for them to oust him, during which they will suffer irrecoverable damage. They WILL bend the knee and suddenly even Pelosi will be voting for Trump’s immigration policy.

2 – Use the full weight of the PATRIOT act against Antifa, forensic accounting to trace it back to the DNC, and start ARRESTING Democrats for terrorism.

3 – Declare a national emergency on the southern border due to the migrant caravans and unprecedented crossings and order the Army Corps of Engineers under Article IV Section IV

“The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion”

4 – Go 100% “lawfare” against the egregious “Florez” decision that pushes “catch and release” on our nation and issue the promised executive order on BirthRight Citizenship and litigate that to the Supreme Court to end anchor babies.

5 – sue in the federal courts against “ballot harvesting” and “motor voter” as abrogations of the Voting Rights Act and citizens’ 14th amendment right to equal protection under the law.. keep hammering this lawfare until injunction.. should have happened Jan 2017.
