Democrat Presidential Candidate Michael Avenatti Arrested for Felony Domestic Violence…

According to the progressive-left Michael Avenatti is a strong presidential candidate in their 2020 objectives.

Unfortunately, those hopes and aspirations may have encountered a set-back today as the Creepy Porn Lawyer, Avenatti, is arrested for felony domestic violence.

TMZ is reporting that CPL is in police custody after beating his estranged wife.

CALIFORNIA – […] Our law enforcement sources say Avenatti was arrested Wednesday after his estranged wife filed a felony DV report. We’re told her face was “swollen and bruised.”

Our sources say the alleged incident occurred Tuesday, but there was a confrontation Wednesday between the two at an exclusive apartment building in the Century City area of L.A.

We’re told during Wednesday’s confrontation the woman ran out of the apartment building and was on the sidewalk on her cellphone with sunglasses covering her eyes, screaming on the phone, “I can’t believe you did this to me.”

We’re told security brought her inside the building and Michael showed up 5 minutes later, ran into the building, chasing after her. He screamed repeatedly, “She hit me first.” We’re told he angrily added, “This is bulls***, this is f***ing bulls***.” (read more)

The two things I would like to see here are:

He’s convicted and his career is ended.
He’s actually innocent of the charges but nobody cares.

The charge is felony assault and battery, and if convicted he will be disbarred. Even if he is found innocent in the long run, he may still be disbarred depending on the findings of an ABA investigation into the matter, but either way, his career is over, any presidential aspirations just died, and he is $15 MILLION in debt due to losing in court a couple of times to his former partner.

Could not happen to a more deserving and disgusting individual as avenatti. Karma is such a fickle b1atch…LOL

He is about as loathsome a specimen as anything needs to be.

Wouldn’t it be the California Bar doing an investigation? Not that I trust them for much, but this guy has pushed the envelope a little bit too far even for them.

It may be, however attorneys are frequently admitted to practice in multiple states as I am sure that avenatti is as well, in which case it should be handled by the ABA imo so his law license would be prohibited in all states. He can also be allowed to keep his law license as a means of supporting his family even if convicted on the charge, it all depends on the court and the judge. However I have also heard that a criminal referral was filed against him by Senator Grassley in regards to the swetnick matter and witness tampering, which may also result in the loss of his license. It’s a question of how much he will be allowed to get away with but the more charges that are stacked up against him would result in more severe penalties and lessen the likelihood of a reduced sentence.

The ABA, a voluntary membership organization, akin to the AMA (each body participates in the design of professional education programs and approves national standards for professional education), cannot disbar a lawyer.

The matter falls to state bars (not state bar associations), which are governmental administrative arms of state supreme courts. State bars design and administer state bar exams, and admit lawyers (issue licenses to them) to represent clients in state courts, and to offer legal-advisement services not involving court filings or litigation. (Federal courts admit lawyers as litigators separately.)

The state bars are also ultimately responsible for administering disciplinary actions, including short-term license suspensions, practice restrictions, issuing fines, and permanent disbarment. All of these actions are subject to courts’ review, if challenged, and courts’ upholding, modifying or overturning them.

        • Jan says:

He just got out of a ethics violation in the California bar (for unethically running his coffee company in Washington or Oregon). He did claim “she hit me first,” which implies he hit her and she has visible injuries. He does not. But it’s okay. He’s another Democrat who won’t be prosecuted even if he doesn’t have enough of his own money to buy himself out of it–someone will loan it to him. And 1 yr. from now, no one will remember who or what he did, unless Hillary decides he could take the nomination away from her. Then he might get arkancided.

      • Mary says:

Sadly, being disbarred is no barrier to the presidency, at least for Democrats. See, for example, the last two Democrat presidents and their wives. ( And, yes, I know that one of them gave up the law license voluntarily – to avoid being disbarred.)

I’d like to spread that thought on over to the Bush, Clinton, Soros, Soetoro families, along many others working so diligently behind the scenes to destroy.

  5. armie says:

The professional Democrat troll army is particularly obvious on Twitter with regard to this item. The phrase “TMZ is the National Enquirer” and a reference Harvey Levin being Trump’s buddy are appearing in the comments following almost every post of the story. Common use of phrases is the usual sign of the troll army at work.

Incidentally, the ex-wife is on record saying she has seen him in months. LAPD has announced the arrest, but hasn’t disclosed the reporting party’s name.

It wasn’t his either his wife or his former wife, but apparently someone he has been residing with according to this report. He threw her out of the apartment yesterday which was when he allegedly beat her up, she showed up at the apartment today with the police to collect her belongings at which time avenatti showed up and tried to force his way into the elevator with them but was prevented from doing so. She was allowed to collect her belongings with the police present, then the officers spoke to him in the apartment lobby and arrested him. He just cancelled several scheduled appearances in Vermont which were sponsored by the Vermont dnc for his 2020 presidential candidacy prospects.

I guess court rulings against him in the amount of $20 million has put him in a bad mood. I doubt any more appearances will be scheduled either in Vermont or elsewhere…LOL

Michael Avenatti’s Booking Info. The charges are not shown, but if the TMZ story is close to being correct the bail amount of $50K would be consistent with a single charge of Calif penal code section 273.5PC. He bailed from custody about 2 hours after his booking.

Oh, I mean the powers that be are taking him down and perhaps that means they feel he’s no longer needed to attack PT. I’m worried for PT. Of course I’m glad a woman beater was arrested, but guilt is not a criteria for being arrested these days or so many criminals would have been long ago…so why is this happening? The timing is of interest.

  33. rsmith1776 says:

    No setback there, Sundance.

By savagely beating his wife, Avenatti merely checked one of the few Demockrat requirements for any position within the party.

The perfect candidate should be able to brag about both beating a wife, murdering a mistress, and whipping his preferred negro.

Avenatti is shooting for the Democrat Robert Byrd standard of rectitude and the Ted Kennedy standard of responsibility.

He will get there entirely, just give him a little time.
