Hate to be the one to have to tell you, Citizen. It’s the grift. Obama changed the refugee rules so that you can be classified as a refugee if you are afraid of domestic violence or gang violence. That means anybody can apply to become a refugee. Anybody. Why is that important? Immigrants don’t qualify for welfare for a long time. Refugees qualify for EVERYTHING on day one. Afraid of your husband? Or boyfriend? Come to United States and live like a king forever. And at some point you can sponsor that husband to come live with you on our time.

it’s like the Democrat position on DACA. One of the Democrats sticking points was whether or not DACA recipients could sponsor their parents to come to the USA legally. Let’s think about that. The pitch for legalizing DACA kids was that they were brought here illegally by their parents through no fault of their own. So we’re going to reward the parents now, why?

it’s time for an immigration moratorium until we sort this all out. Trump needs to grow some balls, like Matteo Salvini, and say enough is enough. We need to be spending our time sending people back, not figuring out how to sort them out as we let them in

President Trump has gotten 700 billion and 716 billion dollars for the military. He’s previously stated he could build the wall for less than 20 billion. He’s got 4.8 billion appropriated for the wall. Could that extra 16 billion dollars be for the wall if he was to declare a state of national security emergency and use the military to build the wall?

              • Ken Lawson says:

Any sane person sees it as national security, but the left say they are refugees and that is what they will take the president to court over. Yes, I believe he should use the military to stop them, but the result will be lawsuits from the left and some liberal judge issuing an injunction to stop the president’s actions. During the very long time it will take to work its way to the Supreme Court the invaders will be “processed” and let go (because there is nowhere to house 10,000+ people, especially with children, for the years this will take) and they’ll be told to be in court on a date a couple years in the future to determine their fate. By then most will have disappeared deep into our society and we’ll never find them again.

But maybe even worse than what I just described is the fact that the timing of this will be used by the Dems to affect the midterm elections. People like us see through it and it drives conservatives to the polls. But we have to remember that half of eligible voters do not vote and half of those who are left voted for Hillary. So, even if they lose some to our side, there are millions of people they will hope to drive to the polls to vote against Trump’s discrimination.

I think this will backfire on the left, but there’s no guarantee it will. The president has to balance this situation to work for our side and he’s the master at timing. My guess is that he has a plan, but we won’t know it until he unleashes it. Contrary to comments here that say the president should grow a spine, this is an extremely complex issue and we have to remember that Trump’s record is excellent. We need to support him and not spend so much time criticizing when we don’t even know what he has planned.

We must have satellite imagery and drone surveillance of exactly what they are up to. I’m sure with crowd surveillance we have knowledge of the leaders in the crowd. Nothing is hidden from our intelligence community.

Mexico is basically leveraging this situation to extort money and support from the USA.

We simply do not have the luxury to worry about crossing all the t’s and dotting all the i’s, when our enemy is breaking every law on the books. There is no second chance here, we must win. We have ONE chance to get this right. If we have to break a few eggs to get this omelette made, so be it. We have a country to save, & some are more worried about minutia. smh

icehole3 – You make a good point, but we have to remember that most people often forget what RINOs are. They forget that RINO stands for Republican In Name Only and they don’t realize that 90% (and that’s no exaggeration) of the Republicans in the House and Senate are GOPe RINOs that are part of the UniParty. They don’t want the president to succeed. They want to lose so they are the minority. That way they allow the Dems to carry the burden of not supporting the president while they fall back on their old defense of “but we don’t have the votes to stop them.” They want to do what their globalist masters want them to do or they lose a fortune. Any support they give the president is only because they are cornered with the election at hand.

But another part of the problem is that too many conservative voters think the president can do what he wants. They don’t understand he is not a dictator and he is only in charge of one branch of our government. It’s the voters fault all these things are happening, including the migrant caravan heading our way now. The voters are at fault because for decades they have not done their job of holding politicians accountable and voting out the bad ones. And they still don’t understand that if we are to be a nation with a government of, by, and for the people, then the people must participate. But they haven’t. We have dropped the ball and the result is where we are today.

The only solution is not one that will happen or can happen overnight. It will happen through the ballot box if we elect the people the president needs to support his agenda and make the changes we need. In the meantime, our best option is to support the president and get people out to vote. But we have to understand that our government was not designed for change overnight. We may actually lose on this batch of migrants, only time will tell. But we have to be fighting for long-term goals or we will never succeed.

This whole drama is choreographed by the Democrats to force the president into taking action in the hope of turning so-called Hispanics against Republicans on November 6th. Well, I am a so-called Hispanic and, like me, there are millions of Americans of Latin American descent who despise illegal immigration from any country. If we are to take in anyone who claims refugee status simply on the basis of violence in their own countries, then be prepared to take in 5 billion people from all over the world.

The fact is that this isn’t about 2 years of corruption. It goes back decades, not just a couple years. What we’re seeing has taken years to be set up with the leftists slowly taking over control of every area of government. President Trump is the first wave of fighting back. And he cannot be the last. He cannot possibly fix it all in only 8 years. We didn’t get into this mess overnight and we won’t get out of it quickly either. We will win some and lose some. IIRC, obiwon’s unilateral redefinition has been changed back to its proper one. I don’t remember whether I heard POTUS say it or if it was Sessions. Whoever…I’m pretty sure our rules/policy now define a refugee as its always been, in accordance with International Law, which is also the official definition recognized by the UN.

A refugee is an individual or a member of a specific ethnic, religious or political group, uniquely targeted by their government for persecution or death. A refugee must stop in the first geographically safe country they can get to, then request asylum. They can’t “country shop,” even if they can fly to another country on their own, though there are rare exceptions for some individuals, with extenuating circumstances, to make asylum arrangements directly with another country, usually through an embassy.

A citizen of a country with bad government, poverty, poor job opportunities, or a general culture of violence and crime is not uniquely targeted from among the general population and does not qualify for refugee status.

I agree, czak. The definition has been perverted on a worldwide scale, but it’s still important for people to know the truth and see how the deception has been played.

Allowing un-vetted, unknown mobs of aliens to crash into a country is so utterly devoid of reason, that fact alone is the primary marker that it’s not about “humanitarian crises.”  The only humanitarian crisis is the one forced upon the citizens of the country being invaded. It’s a manufactured narrative to dupe useful idiots into being the front-line invaders, brought to us all by deceitful leftists/globalists who are using both parties to force an agenda they know no one, in their right mind, would agree to.

I’m with you. Close the borders. Station the military across as much of the border as needed, with Border Patrol keeping an eagle eye on the rest. Give the mob the chance to peacefully disperse and return to their own country. If they lack the common sense and morality to respect us, our boundaries and our laws, then they chose the consequences. If someone is hurt or someone who really needs asylum is turned away, the mob and their handlers chose to not care about them.

Then…the larger consequences for the countries and people who aid and abet illegal immigration and mob invasions. In addition to stopping all U.S. financial aid to the countries, remove any favor in trade, stop all legal entry and immigration to the U.S., and stop all monetary transfers from the U.S. to these countries. Legitimate business transactions, with proof and notice of liability, if they act as intermediaries for illegal transfers, can continue, business as usual. Investigate and charge American citizens or residents who fund, participate in or engage in activities to encourage aliens to break our laws.

I don’t want anyone to be hurt. They chose the risk and consequences of not caring about anyone or anything, but what they want. Okay. Got that off my chest.

Let me add: The above disqualifications are the reason the border jumpers are taught to claim persecution. The large majority of claims, something like 97%, are rejected. The biggest problem is catch and release. The percentage that actually show up for hearings is tiny.

I don’t know for certain that catch and release is written into the law, but I’d guess some sort of wording is present or wording meant to recognize rare exceptions, within the law, has been reinterpreted as the general application of the law by a court, since apparently it’s not been extinguished by executive order and POTUS has repeatedly cited the practice as a part of our terrible immigration laws.

The open borders Dems and GOPe – i.e. the uni-party – have intentionally misused and diluted the term refugee in attempts to broaden its meaning.

It is a slap in the face to REAL refugees. But it promotes their agenda of gaining new voters (Dems) and increasing the labor supply and thus supressing wages (GOPe).

    • The calls for violence and incivility by prominent Dems over the last few days suggest they know from internal polling that they are losing badly and are going to get hammered in Nov. Early voting seems to confirm that. So I am not viewing Caravan 2.0 (and now 3.0) as necessarily a “political miscalculation” by the Dems as others have suggested. I believe this is one of the opening moves in a new strategy to sow chaos and destruction, exploit our remaining weak points and thwart our foreign policy gains.

The globalists who run the Democratic party may now be throwing in the towel on the midterms altogether and are going to outright subversion and fomenting chaos instead and the huge caravans are the new centerpiece of this effort.

        Smells like it, I agree.

I think Trump has a ‘Trump card’ ready for the caravans, but will not play it until the last moment to keep the Global Criminals from being able to respond. Trump does not give away his plans… That is what I think, or hope.

But, I am sick & tired of Trump playing ‘defense’. It seems he has played defense for 2 years on this continued escalating – attempted coup. It is almost like there is a line that once crossed he will bring down the hammer. This caravan might be it. If it is, it might get hyper ugly before it is over.

I notice in his more recent tweets that he is pointing out just who/what is really making up the group headed towards our border—-criminals, gang members, terrorists, etc… He is laying the foundation for his upcoming response.

guerillapatriot – No, the Democrats aren’t throwing in the towel at all. People need to understand that they are following to the letter the guidelines of Saul Alinsky from his book Rules for Radicals and they are using Cloward & Piven’s strategies of bringing in all these people to overload our system. They want to break down our form of government so it can be replaced with what they’ll call socialism, but the real name for it is communism. They’ve been heading for it for 100 years in a very carefully laid out plan that, by now, we all should be aware of. But unfortunately people don’t do their homework. This is all part of their plan and should surprised no one. They never give up and throw in the towel, they just show more and more of their radical plans.

And everyone needs to remember that Hillary was personally mentored by Saul Alinsky and Barack Obama, while he came along after Alinsky died, was the star of Alinsky’s organization and his community organizing was part of the plan. Hillary and Barry are two peas in a pod. And they are exactly what the left wants for our future.

    Yes ANOTHER has begun..

BREAKING: ANOTHER CARAVAN HEADED TO US; OVER 2000 MIGRANTS ON MARCH FROM HONDURAS
A new caravan of over 2000 migrants left Honduras and was reported to be approaching Chiquimula, Guatemala on Sunday. Photos and videos posted to social media show a long line of migrants marching on the side of a road. This caravan of Central American migrants comes on the heals of a similar caravan that started out from Honduras earlier last week and grew to over 7,000 as of Sunday after crossing the border from Guatemala into Mexico with little resistance from Mexican authorities. That caravan is in Tapachula, Mexico, as of Sunday night.

I also share the point of view of the Government of the Republic. It is very clear that they are vandals, a person pasifica not forcibly takes a country. In many videos it shows and many saw how vandalicos they are, those of that migrant caravan

                ———————————-
For the first time I heard something sensible about this man and even if we don’t look like there are rules and protocols to follow. Mexico does not refuse to receive them, you just have to comply with the necessary. I’m not against migration. Let’s just do things right. Mind @CaravanaMigrantes
                ———————-
The cowards sent the women and children to the front as a human shield, they began throwing stones at unarmed policemen, they were asked to enter in an orderly manner and used violence. Informate.
                ————————–
There is nothing to disprove what I said; “Caravan breaks Police fence”, show the Truth half-way, showed no violence with which they opened the fence, or the moment they threw stones, or as injured 5 police.
                ———————————-
This sounds like Trumpiano commentary, but you must enforce the laws. Not to support the @CaravanaMigrantes, if not under laws and legal documentation. Mexico is in transition, the main thing now is to solve the situation that comes to Mexico. Priority for Mexicans
                ————
It’s very sad. But are already trampling our sovereignty, Mexico is due to its people, we have enough problems, here to give us atro problem for free, for the first time I support 100%!!!

With her father intent on simplifying federal rules and regulations plus tax laws , it might embarrass the states into a similar K.I.S.S. approach. Giving women the ability to use their talents, which do not have to include a college education and its expense, to support themselves would be a huge step toward solving multiple challenges.

Start by walking them through a business plan, finding and using a bank or credit union to best benefit along with other team members, sourcing product, cost analysis/spreadsheet, etc. Actually, the material could be used in high schools, which sorely lack any education on this topic.

Willa is forecast to make landfall by midweek in southwestern Mexico, where watches and warnings have been issued.

Hurricane Willa has rapidly intensified into a dangerous Category 4 hurricane and is expected to strengthen further early this week. Damaging winds, flooding rain and a potentially destructive storm surge will threaten Mexico’s Pacific coastline by midweek.

Tropical Storm Vicente also poses a heavy rain threat to Mexico in the week ahead.

Here is the democratic strategy as I see it (such as they are capable of one in their degenerative state):

    Chaos, violence, division and demoralization.

First, they want chaos as the horde hits the border. Chaos is always the essential first element. With the media, their enabling propaganda arm, at work it will be non-stop pictures and headlines of wretched and wailing, and emotionally evocative, chaos.

Violence. If Trump sends troops, they hope for clashes and blood. The pictures will be all over the media. Even one flesh wound on a woman will become the image they seek for the narrative of Trump as racist and heartless despot.

Division. Whether Trump does or doesn’t send troops, division among the ranks of the GOP is baked into the plan. They expect Ryan and other pro-immigrant uniparty RINOs like Rubio to cry out about the chaos and need for compassion. Trump will be hit from all sides. If he doesn’t send the troops, the Left will attack his betrayal of his promise (just as they goaded the first Bush into a tax raise then attacked him for betraying his promise).

Demoralization. They hope that the chaos, violence and division (especially if Trump caves and/or compromises over the crisis and permits managed entry of the immigrant) will dishearten the conservative base and suppress midterm turnout.

One thing to remember in light of claims that the democrats are responsible for the caravan: the public rarely if ever pins the blame for a crisis on the party OUT OF POWER. Those in power –especially those holding all branches of government — take the brunt of it.

That republicans hold all branches of government is an illusion in theory yes in reality no.
If we truly held three branches of government things would look different. The wall would have been build and immigration laws would have been fixed.
There are traitors to the republican cause in the government such as Flake , Sasse, Ryan
the two women senator I cannot spell their name and in one way or another McConnell.
All the liberal judges who ignore the laws and make their own dependent on their ideology.
The democrats own this and the never Trumpers own this. Do not forget the swamp.
That is why we need to win a clear cut win not just 50 to 49.
I hope the deplorable are smarter and see through the democrat farce and deception the democrats perpetrate on the American voter.

Was thinking about this same thing the other day.
The example of how they use something they start
to get sympathy and outrage for their causes. If
someone just, say, happens to die, it’s collateral
      damage.

And the big example that came to mind was Kent
State. There were rioters throwing rocks and
bottles at the guardsmen prior to the shootings
occurring. There were even some accounts of
      snipers up on roof tops.

But, none of that made the cover of Time, News
Week, the front page of all the papers. What
made the covers were the dead girl, the crying
kids. All of the sympathies went towards the
groups that had led the attacking. The leaders
of those groups probably didn’t care one iota
that some kids had died going to class. Made
good press. Furthered the cause. I could even
visualize Ayers celebrating how it all went down.

Obama was, in fact, quite unpopular. Although very well-liked by his supporters and vehemently hated by his detractors, he like most presidents was regarded with ambivalence by most of the population. The same could be said for President Trump, an equally polarizing figure.

HOWEVER – Obama only reached his popularity with the support of vigorous 24/7/365 adulation and love from a lapdog media. Trump has exceeded The One’s popularity despite 24/7/365 hate and venom from the media.

Furthermore, just as with Dr. Ford’s allegation, this is no big deal even if it is entirely true. She alleges had a drunken party 36 years ago a rowdy boy grabbed her boob; hardly the trauma that would ruin a persons life forever. Likewise, this gay man says another man rubs his crotch and made an advance which he rebuffed. Hardly the sort of trauma that would result in a prosecution.

The federales said two days ago that their job was not to stop the invasion, just to make it “orderly” while it progressed to the U.S. Mendacious Matt has mastered thattrembling voice to interview the women, children and stricken as they fight for every mile to their new home in the U.S. Spare me.

The hordes are not stopping to register for refugee status, so someone has told them to use force at our border; once into the U.S. they believe they are safe thanks to previous experience.

We are running out of time to set the standards for years to come — standards that previous administrations along with the CoC totally ignored. Here’s hoping PDJT uses his bully pulpit tonight to confirm military action and withdrawal of all support for those Central American leaders who allowed this trek. How much did Soros bestow on their private, off-shore accounts? Aren’t they happy to have a few thousand less needing food, housing and safety from gangs?

Trumpster2016 believes they are. I pondered that the last time it was said – I don’t think the base will abandon Trump over this – anything that becomes a “one issue” narrative, tends to mean the voter wasn’t a strong supporter of POTUS, nor do they recognize that he needs the GOP to retain Congress.

I’d vote GOP and for POTUS no matter what – just to make sure the Communist/Fascist Dems don’t get control of the country again.

Years before Obama was elected our town was overrun by illegals. They were gangs and lots of drug trafficking. In Southern OH we have enough problems and also many poor many white and black poor.
A friend told me short before Obama became president the feds swooped in and cleaned out the whole rats nest. The local landscape went out of business.
The illegals did ruffing painting landscaping and drug dealing. After the feds cleaned out the illegal mess the Mayor was told that they could not come down here anymore.
We still have drug problems .
Many people here with and black are dependent on free housing and welfare.
Illegals will queues them out of the job market even more.

Exactly. I’m an RN and volunteer in a Christian Ministry medical free clinic. It’s beyond frustrating to have some of our most vulnerable – the homeless, the mentally ill – need care and medicines, but they only get revolving door, not even adequate band-aid treatment in the ER, so they come to us – desperate: cold, hungry and needing monitoring, treatment and medications – which this joint Judiac-Christian community effort tries to provide.

Go to any local hospital emergency room department and you’ll see it filled with many illegal aliens who get care, and the government picks up the tab. Many mainstream churches have been getting “reimbursed” millions to help resettle these same people in our country – they’re not going to give up the golden government goose.

In fact, that’s going to be my new battle cry – stop the #GoldenGovernmentGoose!

LBJ’s “Great Society” harmed Americans as a whole – breaking up the nuclear family by replacing it with government handouts. Start cutting back the free bennies to those who could work, but don’t, and the labor force would have the people they need.

And to your other point – low-skilled, non-skilled labor does take away jobs from our own lower-skilled workers. It also has destroyed the summer job for young people who used to get their feet wet working construction and other jobs which gave them skills to get them started in life.

If I read this correctly, Real Clear Politics shows 205 Dem and 199 Republican seats that are very likely plus 31 toss-ups. Of the 31 toss-ups, only 1 leans Dem, 30 lean Republican. If that ends up being the reality it will result in 206 Dem and 229 Republican. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2018/house/2018_elections_house_map.html Please please please conservative voters, make it happen. Right now the mix is 193 Democrats and 235 Republicans plus 7 vacancies (2 D and 5 R). I hate losing 6 seats but I’ll be thrilled to maintain the majority.

Even though the schlock house RCP is the source, if they’re reporting something like this, it will be a bad election day for dems – and deservedly so.
I read somewhere (probably here) that there have been multiple articles published about the dems not taking the house. F&F showed something similar this morning, that all toss-ups lean R.

You are reading it wrong. Of the 31 seats, one is currently held by the Dems. The other 30 are seats currently have Republican congresspersons. These seats don’t necessarily lean to the Republicans. They are “toss ups.” The good news is that it is tougher to flip a seat from R to D than it is to simply win in a district that is already D.

Connected to your point though, some of those “toss ups” are ones the Dems had specifically targeted to flip, so maybe we’re holding our own. Soros et al has spent millions in this effort.

Have a family member who suffers from traumatic brain injury and have looked into a variety of off-label treatments. I would highly encourage you and your family to look into information on Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) and G-therapy from Dr Oswal based in India. Know of several personally who have had positive results from both including a gentleman suffering from partial paralysis. It’s my understanding better results can be achieved the closer treatment is received to the incident.

Be happy to provide details if you have questions, Wish your brother the best.

Two interesting factoids – 1) WSJ Monday front page above the fold big picture / headline – Brazil voters celebrating runoff election., what ?? …. hmmm wow so relevant And then way back on Page A11 the “ money shot “ of massive caravan on the road . Holding back on that or what ? 2) Watched Friday night Last Man Standing , NY channel 5 , every commercial break had anti Hugin ( running against corrupt NJ Senator Menedez) commercial “ drug executive rip off artist / heartless “ “ friend of Donald Trump “ etc pictures of Trump and Hugin etc , not a mention of Menedez name , just says NJ must vote against Hugin and Trump . The Dems are worried and alot of money being poured into NJ to carry the slug Menedez to finish line .. one can only hope NJ has had enough but who knows .

It would be nice if Conservative Treehouse would do one of its indepth reviews of how — the Nations that this invasion force are fleeing from —- are ones that have put the most effort into Implementing the Socio-Economic/Political Models the Left and Globalists hope to push forward in the United States — once the Demographic Realignment has provided the Political Muscle to get it done…

Whole Generations inside the US have been trained in Higher Education to believe — a Nation’s Wealth is some Inherent Commodity. That Wealthy Nations are either the most Resource Abundant or those that Stole the Most Resources from others.

They refuse to acknowledge that history has taught – beyond a reasonable doubt – that the richest nations with the highest standard of living have achieved it thanks to the Socio-Economic Model pioneered by Western Civilization: Capitalism + Republican Democracy with guaranteed rights.

Japan was never a regional or economic power until it adopted industrialization and then democracy. South Korea was never an economic or regional power until it did the same, and South Korea never, ever had any colonial power to steal resources. — Neither nation was resource rich or even geographically located in a prime spot. They were resource poor and crappy locations.

But Central and South America has load of resources and nations that attempted to throw off the oppressive yoke of Monarchy and Oligarchy by establishing Peasant Paradises where Land/Wealth was Redistributed —- and all they accomplished was another Oligarchy in which a handful of individuals managed to grab a lot of wealth for their families by using rhetoric and the force of the mob to take wealth from a few prior members of the oligarchy.

The same pattern can be found in every nation on Earth that has tried the Workers Paradise Fantasy.

The most fertile soil does not produce the most wealth and freedom.

    It’s the systems that count.

And we have a couple of centuries of evidence – collected from around the entire Earth – to demonstrate which systems work best for humanity.

A wheel rolls because it is round.

You don’t accomplish more by hoping the next example of a square one you force into production will accomplish what all prior square wheels have failed at….
