Corruption Junction – Desperation Amid Democrat Members of The Intelligence “Gang of Eight”…

I’ve probably reviewed thousands of congressional letters, and intelligence committee letters from oversight, along with even more executive agency responses.  In fact, CTH has shared hundreds of outlines covering granular details within many of the internal memos and correspondences.  However, I have never seen anything like this before.

The combination of arrogance, hubris and desperation within a letter (pdf here) from the four Democrats on the intelligence oversight Gang of Eight, is palpable even in text format.

Legislative branch members: Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Adam Schiff and Mark Warner write a letter today to Director  of National Intelligence Dan Coats, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, and FBI Director Christopher Wray, demanding the executive branch cabinet members withhold information from the White House.

Perhaps more stunningly, and extra-constitutionally (meaning outside the framework of constitutional separation of power), within the jaw-dropping letter the four Democrats outline previous verbal conversations and current agreements with Coats, Rosenstein and Wray where the Cabinet officers agreed to keep information away from the White House Chief Executive, the President.

That third paragraph is particularly interesting: …”the verbal assurance you provided us that DOJ and FBI would not provide the White House“…

Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot?

Why would the Trump DOJ and FBI be giving Pelosi Inc. “assurances” of their intent to withhold intelligence from the White House (Office of the President).

Why would Rosenstein and Wray be giving “assurances”? I digress.

The letter continues on page 2:

This letter reeks of corruption, manipulative intent, and between-the-lines admissions of gross intelligence abuses.  Additionally, the appearance of a visible alignment between corrupt executive branch officials (Wray, Rosenstein, possibly Coats) and corrupt intelligence oversight officials (Schiff, Warner, Pelosi, Schumer) is jaw-droppingly obvious.

This corrupt and self-interested alignment has always belayed our optimism that President Trump had a cabinet willing to confront institutional corruption.  Our concern has always been that these aligned officials will fight against President Trump’s sunlight requests.

Likely DNI Dan Coats will release the declassified FISA portions as requested; thankfully the FISC (Judicial Branch) supports the executive branch in this approach.

However, we should probably temper optimism -at least in timing- surrounding the emails and text messages from Ohr, Comey, Page, Strzok and McCabe.  Those bogus “declassified” releases are more dependent on the corrupt DOJ (Rosenstein) and FBI (Wray).

“Assurances”!  F-YOU swamp, and your corrupt “assurances”.

The swamp is very deep.

Have any of the Rs in the Gang of 8 made any comments about the letter the Dem members sent to Wray, Rosenstein and Coates? Their silence is so deafening it is almost self-incriminating. They’re scared too.

This is sedition plain and simple. They have NO authority over a direct order from POTUS to DOJ to declassify immediately. They are encouraging mutiny and defacto overthrow. Arrest them now.

An ongoing coup d’etat and POTUS needs to treat it that way.

Okay I read that too fast. No response letter, but a verbal agreement? This could be verified if the president’s attorneys either 1. say they didn’t request anything or 2. say they requested something and were turned down. It’s “they said” “no one said” at this point.

I’m hopping back and forth between did the “R’s” know about the letter(s) and signed it in invisible ink, except for Rep. Nunes. I am convinced that Nunes’ update from Brennan in August or Sept. 2016, was different from the other Gang of 8 (or 7), along with other “updates.” Except for Rep. Nunes and Adm. Rogers in the fall of 2016, very few had my President elect’s back.

I now want to see the previous letters cited in this letter. I want Catherine Herridge to get a 2 or 3-hour special that is placed on Fox News 5 times over the weekend on these letters and the corruption, and I want to see the Fox news reporters in the White House
press Sarah Sanders on this very subject—the corruption of at least 4 of the Gang of Eight, ordering the IC and Deep State not to provide the President with the documents he seeks to get unclassified. Let’s get this out there today….Let;s talk about how every election day is the most important election from now on.

Four Congressmen and Senators are ordering the DNI, DOJ & FBI not to turn over documents requested by POTUS for release to the public that would shame or embarrass crooked politicians.

Time to arrest them and throw their behinds in jail, have a military trial, then off to the gallows. Enough with treasonous so n so’s. Their day is quickly arriving and it will happen, and then we will see a lot of the Congress Swamp drained. I would not doubt that there might be a some suicides or those wanting to leave the country but I believe where the President has an EO saying no way can they leave. Then all assets confiscated here and abroad as they have caused our national debt to rise, lied, cheated, ripped off, etc., etc. and deserve no way to escape the gallows. This will encourage others to do the job we hired them to do, not waste our tax money, and so much more. Also have them repeal the right to lifetime benefits/pensions/salary increases all without our permission as their employers. We have had it to the gills!

What you say, Lefty, is right. This letter confirms for me that this corruption we have been witness to for lo these many months goes deeper, than what has been focused on for all these months. If one could wave a magic wand and expose all the corrupion that is happening, it would include members of congress, possibly the judiciary, and obviously the executive branch (PRE-TRUMP) with all of these people intertwined with money and influence from domestic and foreign sources. Case in point! the involvement of many of these actors with the multiple criminal activities of the Clinton Crime Mafia, the utter corruption of the Obama administration, the selling of the Congress to the globalist mercantile class to name a few. I agree with Trump that if he can flush out is corruption it will be one of the major accomplishments of his presidency!

          From Matthew 7:15–20 (KJV):
“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”

          From Luke 6:43-45 (KJV):
“For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.”

    This is some scary stuff.

    1. This isn’t over yet. Trump hasn’t “won.” Nothing’s been declassified yet per his order. If/when anything is declassified, we’ll be asked to believe “that’s all of it.” I, for one, have no confidence that they intend to turn over everything.
    2. Four of our top Congress people feel so brazen that they don’t mind admitting to secret verbal agreements with top executive branch bureaucrats to hide documents and information from the public, and they are encouraging these unelected officials to ignore an order from their boss, who we elected. That’s effing astounding and is a sad testament to where we are today. Things are in much worse shape than I believed.
    3. This is just what we know about. Pelosi, Schumer, et al, knew that we would see this letter. They knew well in advance that we would quickly discern that they’ve got verbal agreements with Wray, Rosenstein, Coats, and probably others. They don’t care that we or anyone else knows — not a judge who might review whether to release documents, not other congress people, not Trump, not anyone. They know things we don’t and, whatever that is, they are comfortable with us knowing that they’ve been conspiring with the administrative state.

This last bit should give everyone pause.

He, like all those others who have have curses rained down upon their heads is a son of Adam, made by God. Made in His image. Gifted for a destiny that began as a dream in the heart of God.

As we fulfill our responsibility to pray for those in authority, we may feel anger, disgust, even hatred on our way to finding God’s heart for these servants of the people. Yet let not cursing be our role. We are told in scripture that even an archangel did not revile the most wicked one when contending over the body of Moses but said, “The LORD rebuke you.”

Having commented here for a year or so, I hesitate to write this, but context matters. Remember that Nunes was the driving force behind the meetings this summer with RR, Wray, and even Coats. Nunes was fighting to get information to the several relevant House Committees regarding the Page warrant applications and the use of plants and informants prior to the FBI’s stated start date of its investigation. Coats, and even Wray and RR giving verbal assurances that they would not make public the classified portions of the materials requested by congress is what probably happened. That is not the same thing as working with the Ds on the Gof8 to secret information from the President. The recent declassification Order from the President is a different directive to Coats, RR, and Wray. I’m not saying Coats, RR, and Wray are all choir boys, but the collective feeling that they have been involved in a ploy of some sort may be a bit premature/ What’s more, I don’t see Nunes going along with any such ploy, and he attended all of the meetings at issue. It seems more likely this is a case of Schiff misstating what happened in the previous meetings by cherry picking language from previous letters the D4 group sent to misleadingly memorialize the summer meetings.

I’ve been saying all day that the response from RR and Wray as to the Order to make the texts public will tell us most of what we want to know as to which side they are on. Hitting post comment now and preparing for tirades.

The verbal assurances were given in June, if they were given at all. Those assurances would have applied to information DOJ maintained was classified and would not have been improper as to properly classified information. Nunes has acknowledged as much. I’m not saying those classification decisions and redactions weren’t improper, which is what Nunes has said as is the ostensible reason for the appointment of Lausch. However, Schiff and friends asserting/demanding continued classification in a September letter a few days after an Executive Order is issued is another matter. I know what you want to believe, but if there is a nefarious agreement of some type, then they would not have sent a public letter about it. Rather, the D4 group is trying to use the letter to create a justification for DOJ staff to continue the foot dragging and to bolster there claims of obstruction/abuse of power. Those assertions are bogus, but nothing in the letter suggests there was an agreement to withhold any information in contravention of an Executive Order. The D4 group would love for Wray and RR to ignore the Executive Order, but if that had been the agreement, Nunes would have raised bloody hell for the past two months.

Since the POTUS’s authority is absolute over the executive branch, VSGDJT has plenary authority to declassify anything he wants. THEREFORE, the moment he ordered the declassification and public release of the documents, those documents are immediately declassified…by definition. So, the good guys in Congress…Jordan, Meadows, etc can talk about the specifics in those documents, that we all know that they have, and not be in legal jeopardy. They have seen the unredacted texts and FISA apps.

These things are now declassified. Everything that is going on is a show for the public. The treason party is showing themselves for what they are and Trump is letting them hang themselves.

There is currently no reason that the formerly classified docs cannot be talked about publicly know. It matters not what Rosenstein et al do.

Not that dissimilar to John Kerry admitting to “privately negotiating with a foreign power contrary to current National Foreign Policy objectives”, and even though I am just now being able to re-connect to the “outside world”, I have not heard much “media” uproar over that.

Our “elected representatives” need to take heed of these laws they have sworn to uphold. They also need to be reminded in the strongest means available of who they work for, and it sure is not them folks that live on “K” Street.

Sounds to me as though the Four Horsemen of the PokeyLips have their knickers in a twist!

Next thing you know, they will take their ball, tuck tail and run to mommy screaming “wee, wee, wee” all the way home.

Give me a break. This is as rich as Hillary demanding that all women who claim sexual assault should be taken seriously. She believed Juanita Broderick? Kathleen Willy? Monica Lewinsky? Poor Slick Sick Willy!! Yeah, Hillary. Times have changed just like your stories about your emails, your server, your illegal destruction of government docs, right??

Faces of the Democrat Party—Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi, DiFi, CortezOcasio. What a pathetic group!

Been lurking here maybe a year or so, and I must say this is easily the best free news analysis content on the web I am aware of. All other content on this level is behind a paywall. Godspeed to whoever produces this site.

Anyway, my meager thoughts on the OP above.

President Trump and the White House should not be given access to any sensitive law enforcement or national security information related to an ongoing federal investigation examining conduct by the President, his campaign, or his associates.

As this quote from the letter demonstrates, there is extreme concern that the President not see any information related to the Mueller Russia probe, all for the sake of the probe’s ostensible integrity. Perhaps this sudden concern for the integrity of the probe belies it’s true, original intent. Perhaps it was not primarily a means of finding Russian dirt on Trump for the purpose of impeachment, but rather was primarily nothing more than a legal maneuver intended simply to keep Trump from viewing evidence of the crimes committed against him until he could be impeached at the midterm after a blue wave. After all, Trump has admitted to not having seen at least the documents he just ordered declassified. It would further explain Mueller’s complete lack of production to this point in time. Maybe “production” was never the intent of the probe.

What do you think will happen if the DOJ / FBI refuse to supply unredacted copies?
That is very much on the cards, because this is a big showdown between the WH and the deep state.

If the FBI/DOJ don’t comply with the Presidential directive fire the bunch of them for insubordination. This is an attempt by Schumer, Pelosi, Schiff and Warner to execute a coup to destroy this presidency; however, none dare it treason.

He will release them himself when the time is right. I think the coup plotters KNOW he has them, which is why they are in a panic. As Sundance says—it is called leverage.
Heck—he might even get his wall funding.

Arrest and try all for sedition, since they are going against the President and plotting against him. Trying to overthrow the government. Also another to arrest is Maxie Waters for the treats that she made on President Trump (knock him off and Pence too) She has also asked her followers to attack the Republican prty.
