The Rinos will block POTUS every how they can. They pretend to be POTUS friend and talk him in to wait for the wall wait for Obama repeal.
I hope POTS will give them the finger and we vote them out in 2020.
Right now we need to suck it up and vote for those jokers so POTUS can get some things done.

That is absolutely correct! The Senate will use Reconciliation with the 2019 budget. I have said and will continue to say that Obamacare will be repealed and replaced in March. I truly believe we will have 55 (low end) to 60 (high end) Republican Senators after the November Election. If and I believe we will hold a similar majority in the House give or take a few seats, the Graham/Cassidy Bill where the Federal Government gives a lump sum of money to each State to develop the healthcare they think is best for their constituents.

That eliminated the Medicaid Whores and with Lucifer’s death, we will have the numbers to their NO votes since all you will need is 50 Yes votes.

Trump is better off campaigning like Hell, holding the House, and shoving it through after the elections. Almost every prediction I have seen has the Republicans gaining seats in the Senate.

The biggest thing is holding the House.

Premiums can go down because of the purchasing across state lines, but until they give up all the things that used to be optional (check ups, mammos, colonoscopies, birth control, etc.) I don’t see a real drop in premiums coming. I would love to be wrong!!

        Amy2;
Correct, obamacare mandates need to be repealed in order for the premiums to be reduced. But that IS the scam for obamacare. My families premiums increased to $1,000 per month with a $6,500 deductible per person, $18,500 for the family. Can’t use it for any health care I want or need, but I get “free” mammograms, and my kid gets a free tooth cleaning and exrays at their approved dentist….but not my family dentist! We are paying $1,000 per month for basically a major medical policy.

So sorry to hear! Our family premium didn’t go up too much, but crappy coverage and an individual $3100 deductible. It used to be $1250, and the company GAVE us a $1500 HSA ever year. Sigh. I feel ya.

Not only is that an attempted power play by so called ‘leadership’ in Congress, but it’s a big middle finger and slap in the face to those of us who voted for the PRESIDENT’s agenda!

I don’t care if you call me a concern troll, Debbie Downer, Eyore, or whatever. It bothers me a LOT if POTUS goes along with Ryan and turtle rather than stand by his convictions and the promises he made to us.

PDJT has this and needs us to rally around him as he tries to save US from the globalist/progressive onslaught. One thing he does NOT need from any of us is to tell him what to do and why he is dropping the ball at this moment. I should have made the bigger point that needs to be made; whatever the PDJT shoulda, woulda, couldas are regarding what WE think PDJT needs to do should be backburnered until 11/7 so that those of us who support MAGA, which in my mind includes yourself, need to recognize that NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, that the November 2018 election has a lot riding on it that we all believe in. PDJT is not a fool and he is not one to break his promises. We need complete faith and trust in him that HE HAS THIS and HE HAS OUR BACKS at all times and give him the 100% unified front that he needs from all MAGA patriots for the next 8 weeks.

Negativity, especially about those hot button issues that can easily divide us like the AG, ME wars, Immigration and the wall, , budget deals and GOPe RINOS need simply to be BACKBURNERED until then.

IN MY OPINION, respectfully offered here.

Obstruction of Justice and the Deep State:
Every government employee at the DOJ/FBI who took part in the Hillary Emails, Fisa Warrants, Clinton Foundation, holding back documents intentionally pretending they are classified etc. can be charged with Obstruction of Justice along with many other criminal’s codes. There must be a high number of Government middle/low level employees who knew they were not complying to law and they aided these criminal acts anyway. These government employees had a duty to refuse to participate in breaking laws.

The paper trail in just 1-criminal act of documents that were stated as being classified in the last 2-years can easily be proven they were not classified; charge each government employee involved with obstruction (The fingerprints are everywhere). This will easily drain deeper into the criminal swamp.

PDJT could have just stated a year ago; he will make sure all those involved in holding back documents to obstruct justice will be prosecuted, creating sleepless nights for many government employees…or was this another small part of PDJT going nuclear with the criminal code, to let the criminals create a bigger web of corruption to drain deeper into the criminal swamp.

Notice the tidal wave of negative media against PDJT in the last several days. The criminals will “Never” stop until PDJT is destroyed along with the United States. The only way to win this civil war and to save this republic are indictments for Hillary’s Emails and the Clinton Foundation the alleged center of the Globalist/Elitist criminal organization.

I agree. These cases are set up on a golf tee.

People were asked, as a function of their position, to turn over specific information. Unless, of course, there was some recognized exception – in which case, things could be redacted, or entire pieces of information can be held back, for national security purposes. -Eventually, we would be able to see what was redacted, or see what doc was withheld – it will be seen that these exception clauses did not / do not apply. And, when the nature of what has been withheld or redacted is seen, it will be very clear that obstruction was the goal.

Pure obstruction. Set up. Like a bowling pin.

        IMO:
If Obama gave pardons…this would prove he had knowledge of the criminal acts.

Presidents can’t give pardons to criminal acts that the President was part of.

Presidents cannot destroy the rule of law (criminal acts) and the Constitution intentionally to destroy the United States.

Presidents are not allowed to implement criminal acts and pardon all the criminals.

If Obama gave pardons to criminal acts that he was part of or had willful blindness…the pardons would be reversed.

Just like Immunity deals can be reversed; criminals can not give each other immunity.

        Liked by 1 person

        • Try naming one presidential pardon that has been reversed, Greg. Immunity deals can indeed be reversed, but under Article II of that pesky US Constitution there are only two limits upon a president’s power to pardon.

          1. It only applies to federal crimes. If by some circumstance (that has never yet occurred) a president were to try and pardon someone for a violation of a state or local law, the Supreme Court could void the pardon as unconstitutional.

          2. A pardon can’t be granted in cases of impeachment, whether that impeachment concerns the president or anyone else impeached from a federal position.

I can think of two cases that contradict your opinion. President Ford pardoned ex-President Nixon. Nixon resigned to avoid an impeachment his own party members told him would succeed, to (hopefully) avoid prosecution after his removal from office, and he’s on tape participating in and facilitating crimes. Though this pardon had the political consequence of contributing to Ford’s defeat in the following election, it was never reversed. Nixon was pardoned for crimes concrete evidence indicates he had committed, pre-empting any possibility of a future indictment.

In 1983, hedge fund manager Marc Rich and his business partner were indicted on 65 federal charges which, if convicted, could have lead to a 300-year sentence. Rich fled the country and never returned. Over time his wife Denise made a number of significant financial contributions, including one million to the Democratic Party, $100k to the Senate campaign of Hillary Clinton and a $450k contribution toward the Clinton Library foundation. Meanwhile, Rich himself contributed more than $150 million toward a variety of institutions and political causes in Israel while still a fugitive from justice in the US.

Major figures from Israel’s political parties, members of Mossad, and influential Jewish figures in the US lobbied then-President Bill Clinton to pardon Rich. “Scooter” Libby, who was himself later a recipient of a presidential pardon, also lobbied Clinton to pardon Rich. Mere hours before the end of his term, Bill Clinton pardoned Rich on Jan. 20th, 2001. This case is generally considered to have been a pardon that was granted in return for financial gifts, but despite multiple investigations and severe damage to Clinton’s reputation, the pardon still stands.

Presidential pardons aren’t all as squeaky clean as your opinion would indicate, Greg. A number of them have been clear examples of abuse of power or other sorts of dirty dealing. These two examples are just ones within my living memory.

Giving the president the power to be a judge in his own criminal case is inconsistent with this being a rule of law society. It would enable the president theoretically to commit the worst federal crimes imaginable…terrorism, treason, etc.

Richard Pildes, Sudler Family Professor of Constitutional Law at New York University School of Law
“Nothing in the Constitution or existing constitutional doctrine directly addresses the issue of a presidential self-pardon,” Pildes told CNBC. “But much of constitutional law is based on reasoning from the underlying design of the Constitution and the structures it creates, and a presidential self-pardon is so radically inconsistent with the Constitution’s commitments to (1) limited government; (2) the separation of powers; (3) and elected officials being accountable to the rule of law that I doubt any court would uphold the legality of a presidential self-pardon.”

Preet Bharara, former United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York
. “Whether or not there is a minor legal argument that some law professor somewhere in a legal journal can make that the president can pardon, that’s not what the framers could have intended. That’s not what the American people, I think, would be able to stand for.”

            Renato Mariotti, former federal prosecutor
“You don’t need to be a lawyer to understand why courts would never uphold a president’s power to commit crimes and then pardon himself for them,” These arguments have never been made before because they’re extreme and dangerous. They will be rejected by courts because they’re consistent with tyranny, not our Constitution. ”

Nicholas Gravante, Jr., partner at the law firm of Boies Schiller Flexner
“I’m not sure that there’s a definitive answer,” Gravante told CNBC. “The notion of somebody taking office and then being able to pardon themselves for things they have done while in office would give any president the freedom to act lawlessly and then simply be allowed to pardon themselves from the consequences of such actions prior to leaving office. In effect, the president would be not subject to the rules of law. and this is a country that is governed by the rule of law.”

I also see you weren’t able to cut-and-paste all your own choices in entirety. If you are going to appeal to outside authority, you might want to make sure the quotes actually contradict the initial premise. I did not say presidents can pardon themselves, nor that they can judge their own cases.

Hello Invisible Mikey…You changed the subject matter…I kept to my original topic of pardons/immunity. You went off discussing state law etc. Again, I expressed an opinion!
There are many legal experts that back my opinion…so I pasted the legal experts opinion that back my opinion. The discussions of Reversing a pardon/immunity deals are for high crimes by the largest criminal organization in U.S. history. The topic of discussion is not for state crimes but for Federal crimes that are to destroy the constitution, United States and the will of the people.

If I could remember correctly; Greg Jarrett and others also stated immunity deals can be reversed.

I believe the pardon is new case law but legal experts agree that common sense approach would be used and pardons would be reversed in these criminal acts.

The subject matter is Federal Crimes in Reversing immunity/pardon deals; Hillary’s Emails, Fisa, Obstruction of Justice, Clinton Foundation etc.

            • Since to date there is insufficient evidence President Obama granted pardons or helped facilitate immunity deals with the persons indicated, I consider that discussion entirely speculative.

My comment to you was a clarification about the available limits of presidential pardons, with examples of acts that showed how presidents can still wield the pardon unethically.

Understood Invisible Mikey…I will explain “My Opinion” in more detail having “good intentions” to close our discussion. And this is an interesting subject matter.

I believe Obama would not do the pardons because this would surely point to his knowledge and involvement. I believe knowing the entire Constitution and our way of life is on the table; pardons would/can be reversed, just like many legal experts.

Presidents can still wield the pardon unethically which is given; this is beyond Unethically…that was given…my point was it would be challenged in the courts because in this particular case the President used the pardon for the largest criminal organization in U.S. history to intentionally destroy the United States and the will of the people. IMO; Presidents are not above or the law and can’t “hide behind the pardon laws” to the degree that they can destroy the Rule of Law, Constitution, will of the people and the United States.

I expressed an “OPINION” to wilski statement and others historically had expressed concerned about immunity/pardons…so I expressed my opinion backed by legal experts…and a common-sense approach.

Applying common sense…If these pardons for Hillary emails, Clinton Foundation, Fisa, Uranium One etc. for intentionally destroying this republic were not to be reversed; Presidents would be above the law. Are Presidents allowed to implement acts to his staff to murder an opponent and then pardon everyone involved? Are Presidents allowed to intentionally destroy the Rule of Law, the Constitution and implement criminal acts to have the U.S. become a 3rd world country…. against the will of the people and pardon everyone; if so this will happen again and Presidents would be above the law.

Again, this is way beyond being unethically and what Presidents have done in the past… it would definitely be challenged in a court of law and the criminals would lose…IMO.

Good Day to you Invisible Mikey!

Greg, small correction/addition. In almost all cases, at least 2 charges: Obstruction of Justice, and CONSPIRACY to Obstruct Justice, since few could do it in their own.

And, that’s for each instance, which could quickly add up to life sentences.

If we all know that PDJT, this republic and our way of life will be destroyed if he does not execute the criminal codes; surely PDJT knows and much more. A child could easily see what is going on.

PDJT wants them to continue to attack him for many reasons…he doesn’t want a criminal peace settlement because that will mean the criminals won the war and will destroy this country when he is gone, in 7 years instead of today. The criminals are attacking PDJT every second of the day because they know/fear that their days are numbered (it will get much worse). The criminals are fighting for their lives and for the direction of this country. PDJT will use his Presidential powers to “easily” execute the criminal code.

IMO-The more the criminals attack the better; like the news of Paul Manafort agreeing to plead guilty in a deal with special prosecutor, this is great news…PDJT will have no mercy when he implements the nuclear criminal codes.

Rest easy in knowing PDJT has all the power and will win because of the criminal code.

Sorry, but have to disagree on this, OS. First, there is NO single media , political, or Hollywood celebrity or pundit on the Left that gets DAILY attention the way our President does. He makes headlines just by getting out of bed at 4:30 a.m. every day.

Not ONE day goes by that what he has said or done is not the lead story. That’s not playing defense; That’s brilliantly playing offense. Even when he responds to what someone else says, he adds enough provocation in his remarks to re-take possession of the ball and change the angle of the story.

I don’t believe the majority of Deplorables voted for a gunslinger to daily engage in shootouts on Main Street in Dodge City. Not that he couldn’t do that, and comes close sometimes, but he doesn’t need to.
He proved his intelligent use of words could be just as lethal during the campaign, when he wiped out opponents in debates using nothing but sharp, short comments. He finished Jeb Bush by uttering just 3 words: “He’s Low Energy.” And BOOM! Just like that Jeb’s presidential aspirations were finished. And just 2 words, “Little Marco”, defeated Rubio.

Since the election, he accomplishes the same thing using Tweets. With 65 million followers, EVERY tweet he writes becomes a major news story. So tweets don’t matter? Au contraire, fellow Treeper. His tweets are deadly for his opponents.
It only took a couple of his tweets to make Brennan go publicly insane, and a couple more made Comey slip into schizophrenia. One 4-word tweet after McCain’s funeral from our President – “Make America Great Again” – put Meghan McCain in her place. And look what his non-stop tweeting has done to Obama! He’s out there now trying to combat tweets with stuttering speeches that make him look like the pathetic loser he is!

Our POTUS is navigating a minefield. He dares his enemies to follow him into the minefield, and they rush right in. Then THEY get blown up, while he escapes unharmed. He knows at LEAST as much as we do about everything, and much, much more. He’ll act when He’s ready, with or without help from Sessions or anyone else. I’m willing to wait for whatever he wants to do. Yes, I trust him that much, and where he leads, I’ll gladly follow.

  7. Hmmmm…..according to this, Kavanaugh is another “controlled” judge, like Roberts! This does NOT bode well, IMO.

“Exactly! This is political theater over a man who is not an originalist and not a strict Constitutionalist. He’s a precedence man! He’s said it over and over! If they wanted something on the guy, why don’t they bring up his involvement in the Vince Foster cover-up? Now, that would be something to really look into, but not with the corrupt DOJ and FBI we currently have. Of course, if they did, then someone might actually have to act on something that actually was a crime.”

“Seriously, I don’t know why the professed conservative party would not put forward its most conservative nominee for the Supreme Court to replace Anthony Kennedy, but this is how it goes. They talk a good game and then they let you down. This is the case with Brett Kavanaugh, and if there is one thing that people should remember, it’s that Kavanaugh was the independent assistant attorney (IAA) in charge of the final investigation in the Vince Foster case.

Kavanaugh took over for Miguel Rodriguez who had revealed the Foster case was a homicide. Kavanaugh stated that he would do whatever it took to advance his career but was ordered by three federal judges to keep the witness statements and Rodriguez’ discoveries in the final document.

Both conservative and liberal media outlets have failed to cover the information that was scattered throughout the report even to this day.”

Some youtuber called dnajlion7 is saying anonymous sources are telling him the Bush cabal has some minor dirt on Trump and is using it to force Kavanaugh on him. I hope that’s not true, but it sure does sound like he played a major role in burying the Vince Foster investigation. I really do want the influence of the Bush/Clinton cabal completely eradicated from our nation’s politics.

I watched the hearings and found Kavanaugh’s full unqualified embrace of, and reliance on “precedence” bothersome. And yet, I did not hear one Senator question him about it. I also wondered if he might end up being another John Roberts. So it is interesting you posted this.

This is the first I have heard about his connection with the Vince Foster affair.

You know the despicable smear of Judge Kavanaugh and how it is reported in the media has grabbed my attention.

I refer you to the once “conservative” website HotAir and one of its erstwhile bloggers “Allahpundit”. For YEARS, it was one of my go-to websites to see the elite conservative view of things…. Then around the time of Travon Martin, I discovered the Treehouse…. Over the years, I pay less and less heed to websites like HotAir and more and more to the clear and informative reporting I find here.

But for some perverse reason, I still read Allahpundit. If there is any salacious story about PDJT, you can be sure he is reporting on it… Oh, he will write it cleverly like he is trying to be even-handed, when in fact, if reviewed carefully, you will find it is one long screed against the President. If there is an unfavorable “poll” out, he will certainly write about it. And, if suddenly a monkey (am I allowed to say that?) wrench is thrown in the works of the Kavanaugh hearings, he will relish reporting on it.

Today is Kavanaugh’s turn in the Allahpundit’s barrel… In the numerous updates, he just cannot figure out why the accuser doesn’t want to be questioned. He offers two and only two possibilities – she is lazy (what a sexist he is for saying that) or she hopes to prompt other (liars) to come forward… He clearly doesn’t remember Vanity Fair and the story about the fraternity at University of VA… Let’s see – a crazy as a loon accuser makes up ridiculous story. Media buys it completely and runs with it. Accuser now refuses to be named or interviewed…. Long story short – accuser turns out to be just plain NUTS…. But that doesn’t fit Allahpundit’s desire to see PDJT’s armor chinked…. Thus he just can’t imagine that possibility….

What a horrible state of affairs we have in this country today…. Liars, cheats and the crazed are the go-to source for a once respectable media… Even conservative sites like HotAir have completely lost their minds (and audiences, I hope)…

The most obvious explanation here is that the accuser is either nuts or ridiculously anti-Trump (or both)… But not one reporting I have seen even mentions a similar unsubstantiated and outrageous claim that the Univ of VA sad affair…

And the cynics in the Democratic party and their partners in the media are happy to use this take down what appears to be a good man…. SAD….

Why WOULDN’T the Left pull this? It worked when they pulled it on Herman Cain. Cain went away didn’t he? Nothing was ever done about the women either. They simply went away. Mission accomplished. Then they pulled it on Judge Roy Moore. Same kind of thing. He dated underage girls! With their parents’ permission! MIEN GOTT! We can’t have that kind of person sullying the Senate. Not Teddy Chappaquiddick’s Senate! What do the Republican voters do? They agree. They vote for the Democrat. So I ask again. Why not pull it a third time. After all, third time’s a charm, isn’t it.

I am nauseated that the Left would do this, more nauseated at the Republican voters of Alabama who voted against Moore thereby giving the Left permission to keep doing it.

What should have been done? Elect Moore. Try the cases. And if it was learned that Moore did anything wrong, evict him from the Senate and either do without the seat OR let the Gov appoint a replacement. But ceding the seat to the Democrat. INSANITY.

And yes, I’m still mad about it.

A very interesting perspective by Martin Armstrong. Are we better off printing money to pay our national debt off or to continue to get deeper and deeper in debt. Are our issuing bonds to fund the government actually enriching other governments at the expense of our taxpayers? Are our continued use government bonds part of the swamp.

Whose the fool President Trump or Bob Woodward?

Up to 70% of the national debt at times has been purely accumulated interest which never benefited anyone. It competes with the private sector in what we call the “flight to quality” and it forms the bank reserves. What is never discussed is the fact that US debt is also the reserve currency of nations – not paper dollars. That means that the interest we pay is exported and it stimulates foreign economies – not domestic.

It was always a delusion that Manafort had anything to offer Mueller on the Trump Campaign- he simply wasn’t a part of the campaign long enough or deeply enough. If Manafort had anything, a deal would have been made a year ago. Manafort did the only thing he could do- take it to trial in the VA district, and hope to win or hang the jury- he failed, and the upcoming trial was even more against him considering the jurisdiction. I am guessing he turned people like Podesta, but I don’t think Mueller will ever use Manafort in any way against Podesta.

I think everyone is missing what is going on here. The theory has been bantered about from time to time. I think we are seeing the beginning of the end of Mueller’s Witch Hunt. He is winding down and tying up the loose ends.

What we have seen in recent months:
      1. Mueller indicts 12 Russians. No Trump Campaign Collusion. Sent to a division of the DOJ to never see the light of day.
      2. Papadopolous gets 14 days in jail. That’s not a sentence its a joke and Mueller knew it.
      3. Manafort loses trial in VA. Why is this important? it confirmed to Mueller that there was no Collusion and even the most threatening tactics couldn’t get Manafort to Sing or Compose. Composing wouldn’t have worked anyway because Mueller would have need corroboration from several witnesses and since nothing happened that was a problem for Mueller.
      4. Manafort cops a Plea Deal!. My guess is he gets 6 months to a year in jail in exchange for all of the concessions he made. No book deal. No property,

What I believe is coming up in the next 30 days:
      1. General Flynn gets sentenced (Spoiler Alert he is not getting any jail time)
      2. Mueller is going to close the investigation and send Hot Rod Rosenstein a report on Russian Election interference and the LACK of evidence the Trump campaign had any involvement.
3.President trump will be releasing some unredacted documents, but he is going to be holding back everything as part of cease fire with Mueller.

I could be wrong about the time frame, but I think Mueller wants to get away from this thing and he is trying to do it. The only case still pending (not counting the Russian indictments lol) is General Flynn. Once that sentence is resolved (probation most likely) He is going to end the probe. And believe me when I say this, The Dems and the Media will turn on Mueller faster than you can say lickity split!

        IMHO, I agree Mueller got NOTHING. Not sure I agree about Flynn; he may be in a pickle, in THAT one;

The first case, IIRC, that Mueller pursued, and yet MUELLER has continued to balk, at completing the process with an actual sentencing hearing. WHY?

The excuse given is b.s., obviously. He has sentenced Papa, after guilty plea, and will soon with Manafort, i.e. not delaying, due to ‘ongoing investigation’, so WHY not sentence Flynn?

I THINK he screwed up; there is, just in the public record, enough indications of exculpatory evidence, that for him to ‘close the deal’, with a final sentence, even if no time involved, it would open him up to charges of suborning perjury.

Whether he’s concerned about losing his licence, or prosecution, or whether he’s concerned about discrediting his investigation, he WON’T take that final step, with Flynn.

        I THINK he can’t.

  18. This is what gives police a bad name!!!

“Dallas, TX — The Dallas Police on Thursday announced the findings of a search warrant they executed on the home of Botham Jean after he was gunned down in his apartment by one of their own. The department is now accused of trying to “smear” Jean by claiming they found a tiny bit of marijuana in his house—as if this justifies going into someone’s home and murdering them.

The timing couldn’t have been more insidiously planned as police released the affidavit on the day of Jean’s funeral—despite having allegedly found the marijuana last week. According to the affidavit, when they searched his home, police claimed to have found 10.4 grams of pot—less than half an ounce.”

“At no time, according to the warrant, does Guyger say what “verbal commands” she gave. What’s more, any verbal commands she did give were entirely irrelevant as she was the intruder—not Jean. Attempting to imply that Jean was somehow at fault for his own death for disobeying the commands of a homicidal cop who’d just illegally broken into his home is as irresponsible as it is reprehensible.

What’s more, according to the attorneys for Jean, when Guyger was on the phone with police, she had to go outside to verify the address of the apartment—implying that she knew she was in the wrong apartment from the start.”

“Independent witnesses have already come forward to say that they heard this officer pounding on the door and demanding to be let in,” Lee Merritt, one of the attorneys representing the Jean family, told ABC News. “The contradictions begin to build from there.”

The doors in the complex are also equipped with an automatic closing mechanism. This was demonstrated by the attorneys who opened the door and released it several times—showing that it closed every single time—blowing the claim that the door was somehow ajar completely out of the water.”

No reports so far indicate that the door was forced open.
I am not suggesting that the officer was justified in the shooting, but if she believed that she was entering her own apartment, it would suggest that this wasn’t just some crazy cop executing a black person for sport.

Or do I have to wait until this woman, wherever she may be, runs for office as a conservative?
Not to make light of sexual assault but bringing this up 50 years later is ridiculous. ▪️ Government lost its case against the other three defendants, for massive rights violations

▪️ Government appeals for YEARS and finally wins the ability to try the case again but missed the statute of limitations to bring back Nick for manslaughter, bring him back in anyways, judge allows it

▪️ Higher court again dismisses that case against Nick for egregious rights violations

▪️Government brings a MURDER case against Nick, changed their entire theory of what happened that day seven years after the fact, with no new evidence, because murder doesn’t have a statute of limitations, judge allows it

▪️Nick’s Defense appeals to the judge to at least sever Nick’s case and try him separately so they can use Paul Slough’s incident statement to defend Nick – judge denies it even though its exculpatory evidence

▪️Higher court AGAIN throws out Nicks conviction and revokes the sentences the other three defendants due to rights violations

▪️Government takes him to trial again, ends in a mistrial and TODAY have expressed their intent to take him BACK to trial and the judge denies bail

▪️ The other three STILL have not been given a date for a new sentencing and have been sitting in prison since January 2017 WITHOUT SENTENCES.

Catching up here … it looks like Feinstein wasn’t happy that the FBI rejected her request to investigate the Kavanaugh thing, so she gave the letter to the New Yorker and they published the details. Laughable. The New Yorker says the woman approached Dems in July shortly after Trump nominated Kavanaugh. But they waited until mid September to use it? The Dems were probably fighting over whether or not to bring the claim forward knowing full well it’s shady as heck.

So the story (according to CNN who appears to have also received a copy of the letter) is that the woman went to a party, Kavanaugh pushed her into a bedroom, he and another guy locked the door and started playing loud music that drowned out her yells for help, the guys were drunk, Kavanaugh tried to disrobe her (what about the other guy?), Kavanaugh put his hand over her mouth and she felt her life was in danger … but then mysteriously somehow she was able to “leave the room” (no details) and after hitting up a bathroom she went home. She didn’t report the incident to the police but “has received medical treatment regarding the alleged assault”. The New Yorker says “the memory had been a source of ongoing distress for her, and that she had sought pyschological treatment as a result”. Really? When? When she was 15? Or just last year?

And this is important: The accuser’s name was redacted before Feinstein forwarded it to the FBI. But the FBI was supposed to do an investigation? Did Feinstein ever vet the woman?

They’re voting on the 20th. Let this be done and we’ll move on. The “assault victim” can then decide whether or not she wants to sue. Good luck to her (eye roll).

If this happened and it sounds fishy, then here are the questions.
The 6th amendment gives the accused the right to confront their accusers.
      She MUST come forward.
What was the date this allegedly happened?
      Where did it happen? Address.
Someone’s house if there was a bedroom, so name of the owners who supposedly allowed or hosted a party/event there.
      Were there chaperones?
If not, why? They were 15!
      Who was the second male?
      Has he been accused, too?
      Why not?
      Name him.
Why didn’t she go to the police?
If she has been “traumatized” for how many years, has she been under psychiatric care? If not, why not?
If so, can the physician verify this account with his/her patient notes?
I’m sure the rest of you can add to this list of questions.
Can Brett Kavanaugh sue Dianne Feinstein and this unnamed woman for libel?

Mueller wants to get out of the Witch Hunt. He is looking for a way to end the investigation. Its happening in real time. He knows if he starts implicating some Obama Dems the media will act like their is no Special Counsel and he can wrap up and retire to the Bahamas.

      • I think Mueller is in some sense a dupe. He was led into a trap by Rosenstein/Wassermann who knew that, once he understood the flimsiness of the Russian collusion pretense (which apparently he’s confided to friends is a ‘turd’), would have little choice but to persist through one fishing expedition after another due to his own Swamp complicity within the bigger picture. Now he’s Ahab roped to Moby Dick. The paradox is that the more fishing expeditions he pursues the more he expands the field of play that will ultimately ensnare him. He’s put everything but the kitchen sink on the table. The trouble is he’s under every plate on the table: 911, Uranium One, Bulger….

Mueller’s doing a neat job of indicting himself.

  37. There are a lot of good and decent people on this site whose hearts are in the right place. However there is a genuine rift in the meeting of the minds.

What’s beyond dispute? There are only so many sands in the hourglass. We won’t get the first half of POTUS’ term back. Also, his assault on the Swamp will be seriously, perhaps terminally, derailed if Congress swings blue in 60 days. Of course much has been uncovered by House Republicans such that DOJ (under new management) will be compelled to pursue prosecutions.

So the time while perhaps not optimally exploited has hardly been wasted.

    One school of thought:

Relax. Trump has a gift for timing and is in possession of all the relevant facts. This is the ‘QAnon/NSA’ argument. POTUS will spring the Big Trap at the opportune time. Don’t sweat the hourglass. This subtext has a ‘complacency subtext’ which is anxiety-producing. The Deep State, a master of inertia, excels at running down the clock.

Another incontrovertible process? Each day more malfeasance bubbles to the surface. There will arrive a critical mass when Deep State normalcy will be difficult to resume. The scale will tip, even if it tips, God forbid, into civil wa.. In the background too and working in our favor is the collective conscious: the growing ranks of Red Pillers are a genie that won’t be so easily fit back into a bottle, even post-Trump. The Swamp was too slow moving against alt-media imo. Tactical dithering. They allowed too much alt-consciousness to germinate. Now, the censoring outcry is both too large and too difficult to dissipate. It’s un-American.

Again, the scale will tip away from the Legislative branch’s digging and towards the Executive (armed with a responsive Justice Dept). This will happen regardless of midterm outcome. We shouldn’t kid ourselves though. A Dem-controlled Congress will launch a completely hare-brained impeachment attempt. We’ll all gasp at its audacity. But they’ll do it.

In the end, I place it in the hands of God. There is no 70-year-old man in America who could have sustained the relentless drubbing POTUS has. That by itself suggests divine appointment. How did we get exactly the right man at exactly the right time? Some will call ‘getting religion’ a cop-out or a Hail Mary. I extend my gratitude to the many folks who attended his rallies. That has to give him huge charge. The People recharge his batteries. We seem to understand our role. Keep the faith.

You say our role is to “keep the faith”. Agreed but that is NOT enough imho. I side with the Qanon people who have been told time and time again that each and every one of them is responsible for how things turn out. Each person, besides having faith, is urged to pray, get active, bbe heard, make memes, spread memes, red pill and FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT for a win on November 6th. Qanons have been focused on VOTING and WINNING. At tthe same time, because the anons are fabulous researchers they understand better than some Trump supporters not only what Trump Iis up against but what hes actually, factually doing thats flying under the radar. This allows anons the ability to avoid becoming paralyzed by concern, worry anxiety or wasting ttheir time opining about what POTUS should do. Anons are able to stay focused on doing THEIR jobs knowing that POTUS and his team are ddoing theirs. I hope this corrects the deliberately false impression you have been given. Only POTUS has had more influence in the past year for good or has been slandered more by fake news outlets. Coincidence? There are no coincidences.

It was an all nude beach at the bottom of the LaJolla cliffs. You had to park at the top of the cliffs and walk to the beach.

Everyone was nude. Men and women. We played volley ball, swam in the ocean, had barbecues, etc.

No one was having sex or grabbing each other, it was the 70”s in

I have thought a lot about Trump’s tweet on March 4, 2017 and some of you have seen my recent posts about my theory that Obama actually did personally order the Page wiretap.

Something hit me last night that gives me cause for concern and its regarding the timing of the POTUS MOAB tweet.

It occurred two days after Sessions’ recusal.

POTUS’ tweet started out “Just found out….” As up to date and current as twitter is by nature, isn’t it kind of assumed that what you are tweeting is almost a stream of consciousness type of thing. Would you really need to say that you “Just found out” about something? Doesnt that go without saying?

Maybe he had known this for a while, and then Sessions recused. POTUS is left feeling abandoned, so he dropped the bomb.

This would suggest that POTUS and Sessions are NOT on the same page.

This has been known since the Omnibus bill was passed and has been covered and confirmed recently by several news outlets. POTUS understands the need for the wall. He promised the wall. The wall is under construction. Its jaw dropping that he was able to start so quickly. He will finish the wall, imho by the end of next year. Where the money comes from is irrelevant to me and its irrelevant to him. We both know the money is already there. He would just prefer that it not come out of the military budget. BTW Congress knows he doesnt need them. They know they cant stop him by with holding funds. They also know they will be crucified if he does use military money to protect us if Congress reneges. Congress also knows border security is supported by a huuuge majority of voters. As usual, Trumps got this. But if being mad and spitting gets you energized to work for the #redwave then carry on.

Okay, so I am going to basically summarize the posts here on the Tree House today:
    1) President Trump has completely and totally given in to anything McTurtle and Ryan want and he is betraying all of us,
    2) A few socialist whackos won in in ultra-Leftist NY and therefore, the entire country is going full on socialist,
    3) President Trump has gone from VSG to complete dope overnight and has no clue in what he is doing in dealing with the swamp, takes everything his advisors say as gospel, he must release everything immediately or we’re doomed,
    4) Overnight, we have gone from a red tsunami to an unstoppable blue wave.
    5) Paul Manafort has flipped and its over for MAGA, even though the plea deal has nothing to do with Manafort’s time on the Trump campaign.
I could go on and on but why? I am not naive, I know not everything is going to go our way and yes, it is possible we could lose in November, but the over-the-top, hysterical negativity has gotten out of control, especially those questioning President Trump’s integrity. The man has given up a cushy life, lost millions of dollars and business, he and his family have been raked over the coals but yet we have people here questioning, oh so subtlely, if he is betraying the people that voted for him.
I’ve been first lurking, then posting on CTR since the Michael Brown fiasco. There used to be such positive people that posted on this site, not naive, but always pushing forward, staying the course, encouraging each other. For every Flep, Albertus Magnus, Bull Durham who make positive, not naive, posts, we now have 10 Chicken Littles, who constantly post negativity, nothing else. And these same people rarely if ever post on positive articles and if they do, it’s to put a negative spin on something. If someone who had no knowledge of this site and only read the comments (not Sundance’s great articles) came here, they would think its a Never Trump site. I understand why some of the long timers who used to post here, don’t anymore. The comments section is becoming its own little version of the swamp. Oh, how I miss Georgia/FL, Martin, etc.
