Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.

For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

    Be Strong in the Lord

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might” (Eph. 6:10).

As Paul begins to close the letter to the Ephesians, he addresses the spiritual warfare of the Body of Christ. Paul’s instruction is for us to “be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.” In this spiritual battle, we need spiritual strength. As we are on the Lord’s side, Paul points us to the Lord Almighty, from Whom we are to get our strength. In this epistle, Paul has been showing believers that we are “in Christ,” in perfect, eternal union with Him. Being in Christ, we find that His life is our life and His power is our power. We, the Body, draw the strength and power for living the Christian life from our living Head.

“What is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead…” (Eph. 1:19,20).

Being strong in the Lord and in the power of His might has to do with living by faith in the resurrection life and power which resides in every believer through Christ. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is the same power we’re to use to stand in this spiritual battle. The strength of the Christian life is dependence on God. So Paul points the Church to be “strong in the Lord,” to depend upon Him.

Before salvation, Paul says we are “without strength” (Rom. 5:6). We are weak and absolutely unable to please God or save ourselves. Salvation is only through trusting Christ, and by Him alone we have victory over sin’s penalty and punishment. After trusting Christ as our Savior, we are still weak in ourselves, and in the Christian life our sufficiency must be of God (II Cor. 3:5). Victory over sin’s power in our lives occurs the same way we are saved from sin’s penalty, by wholly trusting Christ and Him alone. His strength is more than sufficient for the battle, and we are guaranteed victory over anything Satan throws at us when we turn to our Lord (Phil. 4:13).

The question was asked in a Sunday School class: “How can we defeat Satan?” One little girl answered, “Let Jesus answer the door when Satan starts knocking.” To be instructed to be “strong in the Lord and in the power of His might” tells us that our might is not strong enough for us to be able to stand in this spiritual battle, and it tells us that we face an enemy much stronger than we are apart from Christ. Therefore we need the infinite power of our Lord in this spiritual battle, and we appropriate that strength by yielding to the indwelling Spirit, through prayer and dependence on God, and by knowledge of, faith in, and obedience to His Word, rightly divided (cf. Eph. 6:17,18).

Well here we go as God brings the cleansing light of truth to our world and starts to reveal all the dirty secrets and lies that have been taking the innocence of our children. We now know the Vatican to be at the heart of the darkness that has engulfed the world for centuries. As the priesthood was usurped long ago by the Luciferians and Satanists. I was raised in a family steeped in generations of Catholics. I found the dogma suffocating and hypocritical. I had a lot of cousins who were altar boys and they had such problems as they got older. Nothing was ever discussed but now I wonder.

As the Q team says below this is just the tip of the iceberg and the evil is much deeper than we can imagine.

Below is the testimony the testimony of an American Carmelite Nun who escaped the convent to testify before Congress more than 3 decades ago which tells the tale of the horrific suffering and abuse these nuns experienced as dedicated and good Catholic families signed over all rights and gave their young, innocent daughters to the church for a life of service to god.

I warn you this testimony is hard to listen to and is heartbreaking but goes to the core of this deep corruption, suffering and pedophilia finally being exposed right now. I believe that we must bear witness to this darkness as we are gods army of light warriors. He is purging all this so the world can heal what’s gone on for centuries occulted in darkness.

Warm Regards fellow Treepers!! This is the great awakening and we have to love this world back into wholeness.

I have been on and off for over 20 yearly sometimes twice to personal and group retreats in the Monastery of the Holy Spirit and found Christ each and every time.
I am baptized Calvinist and spend time in a Lutheran Church and Presbyterian church but there is a pull in me towards the Catholic Church. I love the Liturgy I love the Cathedrals.
I never found good Christian nuns when I was 4 in the monastery in Germany where I spend 2 years presents school and Kindergarten. I recognize that my Spiritual life is rooted from the young age spend with Nuns.
I have nothing but love towards Nuns and Monks who devote their life in prayer and charity.

Recently I have read about some of the saints of the catholic church and many are true warriors of Christ.

“what’s gone on for centuries occulted in darkness. ”

There are thousands or perhaps even millions of “children” from this “mother”.

Revelation 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

Which is why in Paul’s epistles the Lord’s plan for his church outlined millions of small, independent churches throughout the nations (with Christ as the head), NOT one large hierarchical organization.

Ephesians5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
Colossians 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Mark 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Titus1:14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.

Psalm 56:5 Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil.

2Peter 3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Back in the early 1980’s, there was a book published that was titled “The Secret Life of the Unborn Child”. It described instances where a colicky baby would settle down after some relaxing music that the mother often listened to during the pregnancy would be played after the birth.

      https://www.amazon.com/Secret-Life-Unborn-Child-Prepare/dp/0440505658/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1534342248&sr=1-1&keywords=The+Secret+Life+of+the+Unborn+Child

YOU CAN GIVE YOUR BABY A GREATER CHANCE FOR HEALTH AND HAPPINESS—MONTHS BEFORE BIRTH!

A pioneering physician, Dr. Thomas Verny, gives startling new evidence based on two decades of medical research.

      Your unborn baby is:
      • Capable of learning
      • Able to warn you of medical problems you and your doctor may not be aware of
      • Able to hear and respond to voices and sounds—including music
      • Sensitive to his parents’ feelings about him
      • Capable of responding to love
      • An active, feeling human being.

The ways in which you respond to and care for your unborn child may affect his physical and emotional well-being for the rest of his life. The choices you make today about your child’s birth may make a vital difference for years to come. You can prepare your unborn baby for a happy, healthy life. This remarkable book will show you how!

A gift to every loving, caring parent. A book that will change the experience of pregnancy and childbirth forever!

A little help from this, perhaps?

Prvbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

2Timothy 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Agreed. My husband and I agreed that we don’t want our children’s faces in phones/other. It’s funny/not funny how as soon as people visit us at our house, their phones come out and they feel the need to “entertain” our children with them. The regular visitors (grandparents, aunts/uncles) know how we feel and don’t do that, but it’s very frustrating how that is everyone else’s first thought.

It’s quite a different type movie from Lawrence and didn’t get as much attention, but Peter O’Toole also gave an excellent performance in ‘Night of the Generals’.

That was the story of a serial murderer on the loose in Poland during the Nazi occupation.

I think it was made in the late 60s and had a great cast. Besides Peter O’Toole, it featured Omar Sharif and Tom Courtenay.

I found the story suspenseful and the movie well done, but it didn’t go over too well at the box office. In any case, the movie is worth watching just to see these great actors work together.

Controversial Open-Air Urinals Installed to Tackle Public Urination in Paris Spark Outrage
    by Char Adams
    15 Aug 2018

    https://people.com/human-interest/paris-urinals-public-ritrottoir-critics

“We’re told we have to accept this but this is absolutely unacceptable,” the unnamed critic said. “It’s destroying the legacy of the island. Can’t people behave?”

Yes, but they don’t care about your feelings. Who is going to stop them?

When all of Paris is your toilet, why would you need these urinals?

The point is what you said.

However, you are 1000% right. Those who pee in public will probably not change their habits by walking to a urinal. They don’t really give a damm. 😉

Just as those who pee and poop in public don’t care. They will do as they please. Period.

San Fran is paying for it though. Tourism is WAY DOWN. Who wants to walk in needles, urine, poop, trash, and God only knows what else. You are also a sitting duck for criminal activity. You couldn’t pay me to go there.

      Do shut up, Liz.
She’s afraid President Trump might accomplish something meaningful with prison reform, so she has to run her yap in an attempt to steal his thunder.
Liz had all the time in the world to do something about our “racist” system, as did Hillary, and Obama for that matter. None of them contributed anything useful.

Really Fauxcahontas? How many times has your fake Indian arse been racially profiled?

Better yet, how many times have men or women of a different race attacked you, your person, your domocile, or your belongings, for no cause, vs those of your race? Verbal doesn’t count.

https://www.libertynation.com/fox-news-kissing-up-to-the-networks-again/ But yesterday in the White House Briefing Room, a clear picture emerged of Fox kissing up to its competitors when correspondent Kevin Corke yielded his time to an NBC reporter.

Having an opportunity to question the Press Secretary is coveted and highly sought after by White House Correspondents. But when Sarah Huckabee Sanders called on the Fox newsman he yielded to Kristen Welker of NBC, who had already asked her question.

    THE SLUR
Of course, Welker wasn’t interested in the latest unemployment numbers – no, no – she wanted to nail Sanders to the wall with the latest leftist narrative about the president using a racial slur:

A little out of season, but here are some presidential Christmas cards down through the years:

I included a photo of LBJ with two of his dogs that was included in his card one year. There seems to be a ghost dog in the picture.

I’d love to be pleasantly surprised. He’s got my vote.

FTA – John Cox has proven himself to be a winner, having vanquished the state’s former Superintendent of Public Instruction, the state’s Treasurer and a former Mayor of Los Angeles, all Democrats who between them and their allies spent nearly $40 million opposing him. Cox beat them all, and he’s pledged to spend the resources needed to defeat Gavin Newsom this Autumn.

Bendix, a lot of us have been in such a place where our faith seemed to be hanging on by a thread. Such “weakness” is often followed by a resurgence of faith in God because we see how He is leading, how His plan for us as individuals (or right now as a nation) seems to be coming together.

Keep looking up and telling Him just what you’ve written to your friends here. He knows your needs but doesn’t force you or anyone else to believe. He does, however, give us encouraging signs and brings those into our lives who care about the strengthening of our spirits and souls.

“You can throw the whole weight of your anxieties upon him, for you are his personal concern.” 1 Peter 5:7

      God bless!

    lilbirdee12’s prayer:

Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.

Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.

Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their families as they seek to lead America back to You.

Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.
Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.

We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.
Thank you Father, for Your Love and the gift of Life.

In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
