  6. Millions of Americans are being chastised by the Trump haters. Corporations that those millions built like Microsoft, Google, Apple, Facebook and Amazon have now decided to take over national security and government policy. The CEO of Amazon Bozo (Bezos) has even bought the Washington Post to express his hate of Americans. Billionaires that used the American system to get unbelievable wealth are now attempting to control your life with their technology. Billionaires and millionaires openly buy seats at the government table to control our lives. Six corporations control most of the information dispensed to the American public and as millions of us know much of the information provided in anti-American. Anti-American because they wish to overthrow a duly elected President a President elected by US we the people. Politicians paid for and owned by these people refuse to participate in our elective government and do what they can to subvert the power and influence of we the people.
Microsoft, Google and FaceBook are so involved in collecting personal data about individuals that if taken before a court that dispensed real justice would be shut down and their management fined and incarcerated for their subversive activities.
At some point we the millions of American being trashed by these people and their useful idiots must decide enough is enough. In November we have the opportunity to destroy the movement to destroy the last real bastion of freedom on this planet. If we don’t we are damn fools and without a doubt don’t deserve the freedom passed on to us by our fore fathers. President Trump needs his back covered. Do we have the guts and brains to do that soon we will know.

I am almost 70 years old. I started watching the NFL with my father when I was about 8-10 years old. His team was the Bears and they usually sucked.

I lived in N. FL., and when New Orleans got their team, we saw the Saints every Sunday. Yes, I was an “Ain’t”.

I watched the NFL all season, every season. Last year, I didn’t watch a single game. Probably won’t watch one this season either. I didn’t even realize that he season had started. Oh well. And there’s a reason.

I spent 2 years bleeding all over South Viet Nam, Republic of. And they want to show their lack of respect for my flag. AND, for me to pay for the privilege of watching them do it.

      No, I don’t think so.

The other thing these idiots haven’t thought about is that the whole “Head Injury” thing will be the end of football in this country. People like me realize that there is a danger of serious injury. We get it. Honest. But, we also believe that adults get to make the decision for themselves as to whether the rewards out weigh the risks. The Liberal Progressive Left in this country absolutely will not do that. They fully intend to destroy football. It is, WAS, only people like me who would have defended the game. Again, oh well.

I give the NFL 10 years. Max.

Mom and Dad said no to our son about playing hs football He hated us for it for many years (along with love and respect). Now as an adult with his own children, he is very grateful.

He also played in other sports, especially baseball and soccer, and there were some significant injuries, but football seemed the most dangerous sport to the brain and future mind. Now the evidence is at hand. Blows to the head are very, very serious.

So, parents, hang in there. All you can do is use your wisdom, such as it is, for your children until they are of the age to decide for themselves.

Maybe the NFL Very Bad Anti-American Behavior will ease parents’ necessity to say no.

True. Interestingly, the significant decline in participation at the largest schools is skewed on the basis of ethnicity. To many players and parents who choose to participate, a common view is that it is the best or only opportunity to get a college scholarship.

Check out the ethnicity of college football players, in general, and you clearly see what is happening.

I am making an observation, not an accusation of any sort.

Agree the nfl is on life support and it started before PDJT. Like you started around 10 and counted the days until season started. Had season tickets for years for JETS (almost all losing years). Things started changing 15? Years ago. Mandatory purchase of pre season games, seat fees, parking food and most of all, every team had at least one superstar felon. No thanks.

Initially, I loved POTUS’ inserting his patriotism. At this point, everyone is aware, leave it up to consumers and capitalism. We have more important issues that pose real threats to the rights and safety of our citizens and deplorables.

It’s happening. Without a robust and robustly reinforced First Amendment, which means the educational effort to inculcate it into young people (in whom its meaning is being eroded the most seriously) and the cultural bravery to uphold it, you can forget about all the rest, all the MAGA. The First Amendment is the alpha and omega of a free society. Get with it, Mr. President. We need your voice and action.

Compromising a new policy and patriotism for social justice is a joke. The Ctrl Left (they call us Alt Right) wants Americans to be ashamed of what our country stands for.
I stopped watching before the 1st game of the 2016 season when my Miami Dolphins kneeled in Seattle. I picked my country over the NFL. I guess 26 years of dedicated Navy service does that to someone.

The perceptual skills of many world leaders are highly suspect. They have seen the President use our economy as a giant whipping stick, with a select group of them suffering immediate and significant negative consequences when he does, yet they persist in trying to wage economic war against him.

The results are consistent; their national economies slow, their currencies devalue and, in a growing number of instances, their citizens protest against them with increasing vitriol.

Some of them will likely have to be voted out of office or deposed/overthrown before they fully understand the folly of their current ways. In the meantime, our economy gets stronger by the day.

https://zogbyanalytics.com/news/862-the-zogby-poll-trump-s-job-approval-jumps-a-majority-of-voters-think-the-economy-will-be-good-the-next-four years A new nationwide Zogby poll® of 1,016 likely voters in the U.S., conducted 8/6/18 to 8/8/18 with a margin of error of +/-3.1%, shows Trump’s job approval up slightly from our last poll in June, and a majority of voters confident in the economy the next four years.

    I. Trump’s Job approval Our latest Zogby Analytics online nationwide survey of likely voters has the President’s job approval numbers jumping slightly to 46% approve (“strongly” and “somewhat approve” combined) and 51% disapprove (“strongly” and “somewhat disapprove” combined), while 2% are not sure. When it came to the demographics and the president’s job approval, there were big movements with his base: more men (55% approve/44% disapprove) approved of the president compared to fewer women (38% approve/59% disapprove).

President Trump’s approval rating also continued to increase with the age of the voters. He lost ground with younger voters: Trump’s approval decreased from 40% to 32% among 18-29 year olds, while 63% disapproved of his job as commander in chief. Among 30-49 year olds, his numbers jumped from 43% approve and 53% disapprove to 48% approve and 50% disapprove. Voters who were age 50-64 were most likely to approve of the president-54% approve/45% disapprove.

Flynn definitely needs a way to squelch everything. Otherwise he is stuck in a catch 22. If he fights the fraudulent perjury accusations, they throw all the other charges against him and against his son. Doesn’t matter if those charges are real, or as phony as the perjury charges, he can’t afford to fight them.

And his caving and pleading guilty to the perjured charges of perjury just makes clearing his name that much harder. Hope getting the other charges disappeared was worth the plea. Cause he may have to await a pardon to free himself from Mueller’s malicious prosecution.

There is a growing lament regarding the perception of indifference among the Repub base. If it is true, too many people are willing to risk encouraging further limitations on the President’s efforts to implement the MAGA agenda, for which they voted to elect him, by allowing the Dems to rise. Such electoral complacency becomes an enabler of the deep state. The thought confounds me.

We, here, can with an admirably zealous effort encourage and cajole Repub voters to go to the polls, but can not force them to do so in order to protect and to further their own and the country’s best interests.

The RNC needs to start now applying the publicity and the get out the vote detail needs boots on the ground asap. The race in OH showed that PT can pull off victories even when the voter turn out is not great for repubs. It’s got to be better in Nov. because this kind of victory, while yes, a win, lends itself to voter manipulation and fraud. Had PT not won convincingly in 2016, bet your paycheck the oppo would have found lots of votes in some basement and possibly would have changed the outcome. They really couldn’t because the victory was so solid. Therefore their wails and their rant became the Russians did it and Hillary got the victory stolen from her. Of course they still haven’t shut up and they won’t stop trying to block PT or impeach him. They are desperate to win the House at the very least.

I live in OH12 and the special election was for that one seat. Volunteers were knocking on doors constantly. Ads were everywhere. The Dims had a huge early vote lead. I think Repubs tend to vote the “old fashion” way…on election day. Sad to say some people probably didn’t go to vote because it was one vote and will be repeated in Nov.

I campaigned for my friend Melanie Leneghan who is a female Trump. She lost by less than 1% to the GOPe Balderson out of a crowd of 15. Pat Tiberi, who stepped down early, campaigned for Balderson while Jim Jordan endorsed Melanie. He even did TV and radio ads for her.

Melanie asked for and got a recount. When her observer went to watch the recount, the ballots had already been unsealed and sorted! No chance of fraud there! They said they just wanted to speed things up. This happended in Muskingum county where Troy Balderson is from. Melanie has a lawsuit to throw these votes out or revote. It’s not likely but I’d love to see her get on the ballot for November!

DACA lawsuit – awaiting Judge Hanen’s decision! Link to a story from this morning, with a few excerpts:

    https://www.bna.com/daca-face-effective-n73014481629/

“Judge Andrew Hanen of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas this week is considering a case challenging the legality of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. And there’s a good chance he’ll order that it be shut down, forcing the Department of Homeland Security to choose between complying with the shutdown order and other, existing court directives to keep the program running.” …

“If Hanen orders a shutdown of DACA, however, the government would have a legitimate legal argument to follow that order instead of prior orders to keep the program running, according to at least one legal scholar.” …

“Hanen is the same judge who in 2015 shut down DAPA, a DACA-like program for the undocumented immigrant parents of U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents. It’s likely the judge will reach the same conclusion with respect to DACA.

Based on their past immigration track records, it’s also expected that Hanen’s order would be upheld by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, which has jurisdiction over federal courts in Texas. At the same time, the Ninth Circuit likely will uphold a January order from a federal judge in California that DACA continue. That would create a split between two federal appeals courts.” …

“The Supreme Court had eight justices in 2016 when it considered DAPA, the Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents program.” …

“As with the DAPA case, a tie among the justices would leave in place the lower court ruling that was appealed to the Supreme Court, he said. That would almost certainly be the ruling against DACA, he said.”

Have I told you today how much I love my President?
Turkish lira, dropping like a damn rock.
Trump says, “Give me back our American pastor.”
Erdogan says, “No, I am important too, I will beat my chest, call you nasty names in the international press, and burn the American flag in our streets.”
Trump says, “You better think twice about that.”
Erdogan says, “You are big and orange and I win.” but sends an emissary team to Washington, DC, to talk it over. Team Trump holds fast.
Turkey does not give in and stages a protest to insult America.
Trump says, “Do you really think you can insult me more than the USA press? Haaaaa! Hold my Diet Coke, whilst I ruin your economy.”
    Poof! Goes the lira……

    This is hardball.
    This is true leadership.
    This is about protecting Americans.
THIS is the message I truly wish Trump would sell to all those pink-hatted suburban moms who think Trump is “too mean”.
Do you want nice and fuzzy, or do you want your loved ones back again, in your arms?
    Who is more successful?
Do you want Trump as your President when you send your beloved child overseas for their semester abroad?
Or someone like a Hillary, who never answered the phone?
Better think about that one for a while….

This is about dealing with pissants, overlords, dictators, who’ve nipped at our heels for decades, and tried to make big America look weak on a world stage.
Obama or a Bush would have ignored the pastor, or backed down when it became an issue.
Remember Carter in 1979? This is our vindication for Iran in 1979, 454 days, I still remember. Dark days for America.
    No more…..

How does it make you feel, as an American, that YOU have a Trump President, who is willing to throw ‘balls to the wall’, the entire force of the US Economy (and possibly more), to rescue YOUR loved ones? Or, for one single American, like your son, or husband.
Yeah, that’s the President I would want.
Remember James Damore, who had his head cut off while Obama went golfing?
How do you think his parents feel now?

Know this. President Trump will probably do this 1-3 times, and no one will ever take another American hostage, under Trump’s administration.
    Guaranteed.
This is a message to countries like Mexico, Iran, all over the Middle East, and you can bet China is watching….

The Chinese have to be saying to themselves:
“What the hell is Trump doing?” or “If Trump is willing to do this for one American pastor, what length will he go to in order to protect his beloved farmers….., or American tech…., or any American?” and “Holy crap, this Trump guy, what are we going to do?”
You can bet, this unrelated incident, will send China into a tailspin.

    Message delivered.
PDJT: Give me back my American pastor and the pain will go away and don’t ever try to bluff me again.

About China. There is no way Xi would make a deal with Trump at the beginning. Optics. There would be critics that it was unnecessary and Xi would look weak. There must be, first, real pain in China, there must be proof, there must be a clamor of hurt Chinese business and populace crying to make a deal. Then, Xi will have a ready to go fall guy. Normal Communist Party strategy, a fall guy to throw under the bus.

As soon as the pain is great enough, Xi will make some deal. Better to make the deal before the US mid terms since it is clear there will be no Blue Wave. Make the deal so that Trump will give them a pre-Midterm discount, call it a Red Wave discount.

It was not confirmed by the Pentagon at time, who would only say…”We are not going to comment on the location of our nuclear weapons.”
      [Or words to that effect.]

But Putin voiced his displeasure at the thought of us putting nukes so close to his border.

      So, I dunno.
The nukes at our base in Turkey may no longer be there.

I would think that our VSG President would have had them removed after he took over…if the nukes were still there.
