Thursday July 12th – Open Thread

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.

For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

Sometimes I don’t know where to put the political stuff, here or on the presidential thread.
Because of what our illustrious leader was able to accomplish against the political establishment, New York Democrats are rebelling somewhat, but unfortunately instead of running a very stable genius, they are running a bunch of weirdos.
I don’t know that the weirdos can be any worse than our nepotistic politicians, though.
I notice today that Alain Kayleros has been convicted of corruption relating to Andrew Cuomo’s economic redevelopment program.
This is what (weirdo) Cynthia Nixon, candidate for governor, has to say about that:
“We’re supposed to believe that the master architect of the governor’s economic development plan doled out nearly a billion dollars without the governor’s knowledge or guidance?” she said. “I for one don’t believe that. But if the governor truly didn’t know what his top aide and highest-paid state employee were doing, that’s arguably even worse.”
We will recall that the ‘third Cuomo brother’, Joseph Percoco, was also convicted of corrupt acts which took place right under Andrew’s nose.

It looks as if New Yorker Donald Trump has inspired some swamp draining, and a spirit of getting rid of the useless 1% Uniparty politicians.
It’s a big swamp, but it’s springing leaks all over the place.
