Trump and company better have some sort of smoking gun to end this charade!

They should be doing two things they are not.

The first is that they should make a rule that the chair can eject any member who makes three spurious points of order. That should keep things moving smoothly.

The second, someone should chase this line of reasoning: “You said when texted SMELL you didn’t mean smell, you texted hillbilly you didn’t mean hillbilly. How can a person with such imprecise speech habits have risen so high in the FBI? Are there standards that low?”

The third thing they should do. When voting Strzok in contempt, they should walk him off to the House jail cells. They have every right to do this, though it isn’t done much.

Odd the camera NEVER went to whoever that woman was. We need to know! Why was she allowed to keep it up like that? Did I hear Cummings correctly as actually questioning PS and sounding incredulous he might not have seen how his words were heard as out of line? Was I not listening carefully enough?

Strzok???how does he bring honor to the fbi ,having a affair with Lisa page! Then he says his emails to Lisa page where in no way bias!????? These dudes are really not thinking right!!!!!!

    • Dave says:

Strzok and Page deserve each other! Both are despicable inside and out! Do you know ANYBODY who’d be attracted to them in ANY way? I don’t!

  4. What is crazy is these people work for US. We the People need to start demanding transparency from our employees.

I am watching these hearings with the same concerns expressed by so many, and just now with a sense of complete realization: REGARDLESS of the perception and which side is gonna have the best score, it is OBVIOUS to me that the curtain has lifted and has exposed what has been going on in our hallowed institutions, and who is on the side of RIGHT and those who are on the side of WRONG. The warts have been exposed, and the American people know the TRUTH. I see that whether the rule of law is implemented or not the TRUTH will still be out there for those who seek it.

Forgive me if way off base….but wasn’t Strzok an investigator that supplied the evidence to the prosecutor. My point is the Prosecutor is only as good as the information from the investigation. So if Strzok intentionally turned a blind eye to important evidence then that is bias that is hard to prove. Why have none of them asked him if the Huma laptop was actually looked at and if so how thoroughly …..

I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Santiago, and you curse the Marines. You have that luxury, you have the luxury of not knowing what I know, that Santiago’s death while tragic, probably saved lives. And my existence while grotesque and incomprehensible, to you, saves lives. You don’t want the truth because deep down in places you talk about parties; you want me on that wall, you need me on that wall! We use words like honor, code, loyalty, We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something, you use them as a punch line. I have neither the time,or the inclination, to explain myself to a man, who rises and sleep under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide, and then questions the manner, in which I provide it. I’d rather you just say ‘thank you’ and go on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a weapon, and stand a post. Either way, I don’t give a damn, what you think you are entitled to!

Frankly, I don’t want the American people associating Jack Nicholson and his character in that movie with THIS guy. I wonder if many understand just how much a huge % of Americans understood that character’s motivation in the cover up and BACKED HIM?

        • Ziiggii says:

it’s the hubris of the character that they believe they are above the law.

“…..they believe they are above the law.”

From what I’ve seen the of so-called “public servants” they have a pretty good basis for that belief.

  37. MaineCoon says:

Strzok was EXTREMELY uncomfortable when Goodlatte got to the bottom of the transparency issue by asking if he would agree to the release of the rest of his texts. He agreed to releasing only his offical work related texts, but of course Goodlatte said it was impossible to tell personal from business. He absolutely then stated he would not agree to the release of them. His countenance said it all. Guilty as charged. Plus, he was thinking of what those personal texts said. He looked embarressed and uncomfortable at the rememberance of those texts.

Has his wife divorced him yet? No. Give it time. He won’t be able to save that marriage.

Since when do witnesses and people under investigation determine what evidence they will turn over? Strzok reviewed his personal communication accounts and says he turned over those he believed to be germane to the investigators request.

I regard Trump…….higher than the office…….that office has been abused so badly that it holds no respect for me…….To say Trump……is fine with me…..He needs no other accolades ……There is only one Trump and there will be no other…….No doubt there will be many more Presidents but no more Trumps…..He is the peoples Trump who just happens to be the President…… If we could have him to lead this country till he kicks the bucket I would be all for it. Some may think that is crazy but under the circumstances of needing a party’s money and then nomination to run…..Getting another Peoples President, a true Patriot, will never happen again. I want him in office as long as possible.

    • Alonzo says:

If we have traitors in our midst (and it is apparent that we do), that do not stand trial for their crimes, then we will no longer be a nation under the rule of law. I do not know if President Trump can fix that or not. He ran on draining the swamp. So far he has been a Promises Made, Promises Kept President to an amazing degree. I’M WITH HIM! I’m not with her.

  46. gda says:

Oh boy. Lots of angst and frustration.

But what exactly did we expect?

For those few that haven’t formed an opinion yet who are watching, or will watch excerpts, I doubt Strzok will convince any fair-minded individual.

So there’s still a tiny positive out of this dog and pony show.

The REAL battle is in the federal courts, and there we are winning BIGLY. And not just with the SC, though that is THE most powerful entity in the land.

For the first time in 80 years the pendulum is swinging back away from progressive judge majorities, and the progressives are powerless to stop it. THIS is the really important battle.

So don’t be too distracted by the the silliness on your screens.

And there will be at least one further nomination to come that will change a narrow Conservative majority to a “super-majority” of 6-3 (or even 7-2 if things go well).

So yeah, the scum are sneering and dodging. And may never come to justice. Did you expect anything better after 80 years of filling the DOJ/FBI Washington ranks with leftist attorneys and other slime?

Be confident that the truth will out. Maddeningly slowly, frustratingly oozingly, but gradually it is coming.

This is Donald Trump’s game, people. He knows everything. Trust him.
