  8. President Trump may be defeated by his own DOJ/FBI.
Yes, they are “his” DOJ and FBI.
He owns them; he put them in place and he alone is responsible for their actions.
I believe only he alone can cleanse both.
Messers Horowitz, Mueller and Huber are sub-prime players; answering to PDJT’s employees.
I believe the ball is in the President’s court.
His fate may be in his own hands.
    I pray for him.

The last time Congress arrested and detained a witness was in 1935. Since then, it has instead referred cases to the United States Department of Justice (now known as the Department of In-Justice).

      A No.
Q You’ve never heard from anyone in the U.S. Government in relation to those matters, either the FBI or the Department of Justice?
A After the election. I mean, during the election, no.
Q What did you hear after and from whom and when ?
A I was asked to provide some information to the Justice Department.
      Q By whom and when?
A It was by a prosecutor named Bruce Ohr, who was following up.
You know, l can’t remember when. It was sometime after Thanksgiving, I think.

Alright. I’ll probably catch some flack here for this one from (the few) people who think abortion should be COMPLETELY outlawed in all cases. Of course abortion should be legal…..in cases of forced or coerced incest, rape, and when the life of the mother is in jeopardy.

The vast majority of abortions, however, are not due to these reasons and THOSE are the abortions that should be outlawed.

And everyone knows this is true. Admitting it is true, however, is another matter altogether.

And then he came out with the NO abortions under any circumstances stuff Right.Before.The. Election.

Someone asked him about cases of incest and he waffled with a “well….that doesn’t happen often”.

So he basically outed himself: Since it doesn’t happen OFTEN, THOSE girls don’t count.

Incest and statutory rape are not “fixed” by murdering an innocent person. In principle this position is not morally different than “honor-killing” Islamists who murder the innocent rape victim for having disgraced the family name. While in the case of a pregnant rape victim the honor-killing Islamist kills 2 rather than just 1 innocent person, the significant point morally is that in both instances the “solution” to incest and rape is to punish (with the death penalty) an innocent person rather than punishing the guilty person.

While this logic ought to be clear to anyone, I don’t have much hope for this logic to hold sway in our hyper-sexualized, materialistic modern culture. In today’s culture, most people will still agree with Obama, that, at least sometimes (e.g. rape and incest) the life of a baby is a punishment he’d rather his daughters not have to undergo, instead of that life being considered a blessing. I don’t expect that to change fundamentally unless and until there is major conversion in this country, so that life is understood as a blessing full stop, rather than being understood, at least sometimes (e.g. rape and incest) as a punishment.

While I think most agree abortion shouldn’t be a form of “birth control”, in cases of incest, rape and other criminal acts there really is no good solution to the problem. Prevention is paramount, but bad conduct happens even with utmost vigilance. How to weigh the welfare of the crime victim (for instance, barely adolescent girls) against the life of an unborn child requires the the wisdom of Solomon. That’s way above my pay grade, short of God Himself, who’s qualified to say? I guess each case has to be considered on an individual basis with due gratitude for the Divine wisdom we need and may receive.

Another piece of American history goes into the trash bin:
Three schools in Petersburg had their names changed after an anonymous donor gave $20,000 to cover the costs of making the name changes “for racial justice”. The elementary schools in the name change: A.P Hill, Robert E. Lee, and J.E.B. Stuart, had the school names changed to; Cool Spring Elementary School, Lakemont Elementary, and Pleasants Lane Elementary, respectively.
    http://www.dailyprogress.com/
Several permits for gatherings and “rallies”, including an “anniversary rally” directed by the Democrat plant, JASON KESSLER, in August here in Charlottesville, are still on hold. Kessler’s permit application was initially rejected by the city and Kessler has sued to try and force the city to grant the permit. Meanwhile, Kessler has gotten a permit for a “rally” in WASHINGTON, DC in August.
    http://www.dailyprogress.com/
And, guess what? The Charlottesville city manager, MAURICE JONES, who was fired by the city a couple of months ago (it’s called here “employment will not be renewed”) was just hired as the new city manager of CHAPEL HILL, NC effective immediately. And by the way, Jones will still get his salary from Charlottesville until the end of this year, at the same time he’s getting a salary from this new job. “Nice work if you can get it”
Jones was fired by Charlottesville for several reasons, among them: He was supposed to have crafted the plans to control potential riots related to the “Unite the Right” disaster here last August. Jones DID NOT craft any such plans. In fact, he may have been involved in the stand down orders given to the local PD when the trouble began at that “rally”. Also, JONES was the person who hired, on his own authority alone, the new police chief of the Charlottesville Police Department, RASHALL BRACKNEY, without any interview or vetting by the city council. Remember, at Ms. Brackney’s first public appearance here last month at a safety seminar, she stated that SHE was the one who would create “legitimacy” for the local PD.

Rosenstein Asks Prosecutors to Help With Kavanaugh Papers in Unusual Request

WASHINGTON — Rod J. Rosenstein, the deputy attorney general, has asked federal prosecutors to help review the government documents of Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh, President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, according to a letter obtained by The New York Times on Wednesday.

Mr. Rosenstein’s request was an unusual insertion of politics into federal law enforcement. While the Justice Department has helped work on previous Supreme Court nominations, department lawyers in Washington typically carry out that task, not prosecutors who pursue criminal investigations nationwide.

But in an email sent this week to the nation’s 93 United States attorneys, Mr. Rosenstein asked each office to provide up to three federal prosecutors “who can make this important project a priority for the next several weeks.” Names were to be submitted to Mr. Rosenstein’s office by the end of Wednesday.

HOLD ON FOLKS: I heard a reputable (unbiased–but someone who should know) person on Fox today explaining that. In addition to his 300 cases, which congress has access to, Kavanaugh worked 5 years as close associate to Pres. Bush.

Many, many papers surround that. Congress can’t plod willy nilly through those because they contain “priviledged information” of a President. So people have to go through those and sort out the things that can be public. Many people are needed b/c of sheer volume. Rosenstein has called all hands on deck from his lawyers to expedite he process. So he is helping speed the process up so there will be no excuse by the Dems.

This person (I can’t remember who) said THIS IS STANDARD PRACTICE where you have papers that involve a President. That made sense to me.

Did they go to jail? That’s what I want to know.

      Here’s another report:

Robert Sperling, a spokesman for the Federal Protective Service, said demonstrators blocked the driveway to the ICE facility, which is illegal.

Sperling said the protesters had agreed not to block the driveway during the demonstration. Occupy ICE PDX denied that claim.

“We do not negotiate with fascists,” Occupy ICE PDX said in a statement.

Sperling said the incident began at 8:20 a.m.

“As FPS officers continued to provide verbal warnings to move from the driveway they had various items thrown at them including an unknown liquid, boards with protruding nails, and other items,” Sperling said. “FPS officers proceeded to remove those individuals blocking the drive, ultimately requiring the deployment of pepper ball and pepper spray to keep others back and to protect the arresting officers.”
