The 18-month Inspector General review of the DOJ/FBI investigation of the Hillary Clinton email is going to be made public tomorrow at 3:00pm EDT.

This IG inquiry is specifically looking into whether the FBI investigation was corrupted by political influence in their determination of the Clinton outcome. The preliminary investigative outcomes speak for themselves.

This following series of video reports provides background on the overall issues, the potential crimes; the subsequent coverup; and the corruption that infested the 2016 Department of Justice and the FBI.

  2. If there are over 500 pages in this soon-to-be-released report…..

I DOUBT very highly that this is going to be a “wash job”. You can wash it all in less than two pages if you want to, but 500 pages suggests there is going to be some VERY INTERESTING details that we haven’t even heard of, nor considered.

It won’t be a “wash job”.

But it probably will be mostly an exposure of lots of rule breaking and procedure ignoring and improper actions by various high level FBI and DOJ personnel.

I’m not expecting much that rises to criminal activity. But I’m happy to be surprised 🙂

      • I agree that the content won’t be very dramatic to many of us, since we all pretty much know the garbage these dirtballs carry with them.

However, I’m thinking it will yield at LEAST TWO criminal referrals to the DOJ.

The criminal activity got tossed to Huber at the time it was found. Expect that material to be missing from the report since it will not/can not be released until AFTER the court case.

“(d) In carrying out the duties and responsibilities established under this Act, each Inspector General shall report expeditiously to the Attorney General whenever the Inspector General has reasonable grounds to believe there has been a violation of Federal criminal law.”

On page 25 are SPECIAL PROVISIONS CONCERNING THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE this is why active criminal cases will be redacted/not in the report.

“[…]SEC. 8E. (a)(1) Notwithstanding the last two sentences of section 3(a), the Inspector General shall be under the authority, direction, and control of the Attorney General with respect to audits or investigations, or the issuance of subpoenas, which require access to sensitive information concerning—

        (A) ongoing civil or criminal investigations or proceedings;
        (B) undercover operations;
        (C) the identity of confidential sources, including protected witnesses;
        (D) intelligence or counterintelligence matters; or
        (E) other matters the disclosure of which would constitute a serious threat to national security.

        (2) With respect to the information described under paragraph (1), the Attorney General may prohibit the Inspector General from carrying out or completing any audit or investigation, from accessing information described in paragraph (1), or from issuing any subpoena, after such Inspector General has decided to initiate, carry out, or complete such audit or investigation, access such information, or to issue such subpoena, if the Attorney General determines that such prohibition is necessary to prevent the disclosure of any information described under paragraph (1) or to prevent the significant impairment to the national interests of the United States.

        (3) If the Attorney General exercises any power under paragraph (1) or (2), the Attorney General shall notify the Inspector General in writing stating the reasons for such exercise. Within 30 days after receipt of any such notice, the Inspector General shall transmit a copy of such notice to the Committees on Governmental Affairs and Judiciary of the Senate and the Committees on Government Operations and Judiciary of the House of Representatives, and to other appropriate committees or subcommittees of the Congress[…]”

I predict that the report will be heavily redacted, and that in a Cold Anger response, PDJT will declassify everything. This will result in a very nasty Deep State response, since their goose is cooked. Hussein is working behind the scenes to build on the state voting system hacks by his DHS. They MUST win the midterms. We are at war, folks. Don’t think otherwise. There is much happening that never sees the light of day.

On matters relating to the FBI’s Russia collusion counterintelligence investigation, certain things were redacted(allegedly) for reasons of national security — to protect sources and methods. (At least that’s the story . . . there WAS the embarrassingly expensive conference table that was redacted.)

Here though we are talking about an investigation into FBI/DOJ handling of a criminal investigation. It’s not a national security matter. The only reason to redact things in this OIG report are because they might compromise evidence being used in a Huber-led criminal investigation that is springboarding off the OIG’s findings and referrals.

THATS not how IG reports work.

IF, and given the topic, its a YUGE IF, there is any material which LEGITIMATELY needs to remain classified, it will be covered in an appendix, as seperate addendum, given only to Congress and the Pres.

Which, would be leaked as soon as schiff could hit the can! But, WHAT is classified, about the DOJ/FBI handling of the hillary emails?

      Sources and methods? Human assets?
Perhaps, if the IG found ‘classified’emails, in the coarse of his investigstion, he would include them in the addendum, tho hard to understand why. All our “enemies” have probably already seen them, lol.

It will be interesting to see how all of this is put together…especially since the author will probably have known how much interest there was in the subject and the likelihood that it would be either released or leaked to the public. I wrote a lot of IG reports on controversial and sensitive inspections and investigations many of you would recognize, but never once did I craft a report thinking (much less knowing) it would be released to the public. These reports are supposed to be brutally frank in their assessments of a situation or individual and are written for a commander, not the Washington Post…we shall see

I’m praying there is a clear enunciation between conduct that was criminal in nature and conduct by government employees and appointees that simply violated internal policies and procedures. Without the distinction made plain for all to see, the report loses almost all value.

    Liked by 1 person

    • L4grasshopper says:

I suspect that most, if not all, of the conclusions by the IG will be for conduct that simply violated — sometimes to an extreme — internal policies and procedures. Where criminal conduct might be specified would possibly include:

      — lying to the IG like McCabe did
      — destruction of evidence gathered
      — tipping off those being investigated that they were about to be investigated
      — evidence of actual coordination between individuals to ensure that Hillary got off, which would be criminal conspiracy

I believe that the Report will illuminate plenty of corruption and bias. But the criminal nuggets will mostly be found, in my opinion, in the FISA and related Report still to come.

This will be the starting salvo in the fight for our nation. The globalist cabal has a tight grip on our system. Their minions are spread far & wide throughout. Politicians, bureaucrats, judiciary, law enforcement, the media, etc.

If their lies, obfuscation, & spin, along with the gullibility & naivety of many Americans, keeps the Box closed, then we’ll have a much harder road to travel to return the power to it’s rightful owners, if it can be returned at all

Justice Department officials are taking a fresh look at Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while she served as secretary of State, The Daily Beast has learned.

An ally of Attorney General Jeff Sessions who is familiar with the thinking at the Justice Department’s Washington headquarters described it as an effort to gather new details on how Clinton and her aides handled classified material. Officials’ questions include how much classified information was sent over Clinton’s server; who put that information into an unclassified environment, and how; and which investigators knew about these matters and when. The Sessions ally also said officials have questions about immunity agreements that Clinton aides may have made.

If it redacted do you think President Trump will give a order to Jeff Sessions to UN-redact it , and if not come to his office immediately and state why?

If President Trump just gives order to un-redact it immediately could that put him in jeopardy? With Congress? Mueller ? DOJ ? FBI ?
Could it be an impeachable event?

Congress can make anything an impeachable offense, because impeachment is a political action, not a criminal one 🙂

I don’t think we’ll see many redactions. But the Report will have a classified appendix that we won’t see.

Just like they redacted that BS 70,000.00 dollar desk or conference table that McCabe ordered. Why that redaction was classified for National Security interest, don’t you know! The Deep State uniparty POS can give it up. WE the People are wise to their schemes and tricks now. Just declassify it all President Trump!

I understand the sentiment behind various people poo-poo’ing the references to this report being redacted, heavily or otherwise. I hope it won’t be bad. But — I quote dutch as saying, “For the umpteenth time, there will NOT be ‘redactions’. How bout doing a little homework?”

Ok, then. A simple question. If “there will not be redactions”, why does congress get a (un-redacted) version of the report hours before the public can see a (still un-redacted?) version?

If it was “just” un-redacted, wouldn’t/couldn’t we see the same version congress gets to see?

Congress’ version would purportedly have less redactions, hence is distributed to congress privately. Otherwise, why private.

That tells me — redactions. Which I’m not sweating .. we’ll figure a good bit of ’em out at any rate .. and I’ve heard POTUS’ de-classifying E.O. has already been signed (although I’ve also heard suggestions that the E.O. will specifically be held back, not released [yet] for .. reasons, other things coming out that have not come out yet).. so, no worries.

Actually, the statute calls for ALL IG reports to be submitted to Congress, and the Pres, and 90 days later, released ti the general public.
Due to the unprecedented interest, we’re getting thema couple hours later.
Not bad, really. And I’m real sceptical tbat you could do much more than READ the thing once or twice, in that time.

      Fugetabout redactions.

    • mimbler says:

Yes, it is semantics only to say no redactions. If our version has less “stuff” in it than others’ then ours is indeed redacted. The fact that they may collect all the redacted material in an appendix not available to us is just organization.

So, what is the best that can happen with the IG report?
    It is just a report.
Doesn’t it require the DOJ to recommend prosecution?
Wouldn’t that be the same Jeff Sessions who just said that it was okay for Rosenstein to threaten Congressional staff to prevent Constitutional oversight of DOJ?

What is the worst that can happen?
They really don’t have any evidence.
HRC and company either bleach bitted or physically destroyed the evidence.
The FBI didn’t record the not-under-oath testimony.
What evidence is there of malfeasance?

THIS report is NOT gonna be an indictment of Hillary.
Best case scenario? Reccomends multiple counts of obstruction, and conspiracy to obstruct against McCabe, Comey and Lynch, possibly others.

AND, throws a BIG spotlight on the weiner laptop.

I dont have a clear, legal answer on statute of lim and obstruction.
The law usually doesnt like to reward ‘bad behavior’; so it SEEMS to me if you can show obstruction postponed things till statute of lim kicked in, you can re set clock.

But, thats just my feeling, although there MUST be case law.

Anyway, my opinion is Hill and Bill should have closed down C.F., after election. Thats a ticking time bomb, can put them away. But, HUBRIS, which is what is getting them, in the end.

Dont know why not. There is no direct link between this report, and Sessions.
And each case has its own time frame.

So, wouldnt expect to wake up and hear hundreds or thousands of early morning arrests.

Defendents lawyers will (or have bee n) advised their client will be charged. Then there is several months worth of positioning and negotiating, its a long, drawn out process.
This report is A step, but we aint but 1/4 of the way thru this process.

Trust me, I’ve been there! As tortuose as this is for us spectators, its 1000 times worse, for the ‘perps’, believe me!

    • If it weren’t for Sundance, we’d all be lost. HOW TO READ THE IG REPORT. (re-post from an earlier thread) In a previous life (as a reporter) I used to have to do this on deadline all the time. So, here’s how I’ll attack it. Let’s assume it’s formatted like the McCabe Report. Section I will be titled “Introduction and Summary of Findings.” I’ll skim it first, looking for the juicy stuff, then go back and read it at more leisurely pace. Section II will be titled: Relevant Statutes, Policies and Practices. Eh. This section probably will just set the baseline for how things should be done. I’ll probably be way more interested in Section III: Factual Findings. This ought to have most of the details behind the information in Section I. There may be additional details in whatever appendices are added. For example, where will they put the verbatim text of the relevant emails and text messages? In Section III or in an appendix? Section IV will be the OIG analysis which may be more details about what is included in the Section I summary. Other IG reports (from other departments) I’ve read also have sections on OIG recommendations regarding improving policies and procedures. They also include the responses by the relevant units within the department. So, we may have some of that here as well. Criminal referrals were not included in the McCabe report, so I’m not expecting them here. Based on what I’ve read, the criminal referral on McCabe was made before the IG released his report. What am I expecting? I figure diGenova knows a lot more than I do. And he says he expects criminal charges against a few government officials involved in the investigation. In the videos, diGenova and others cite chapter and verse on how the investigation should have been conducted, that is with grand jury testimony under oath, subpoenas, search warrants and no immunity. If the IG report compares the Clinton probe with how it ought to have been conducted, then it will be clear that the whole thing was a sham. And it would serve as the predicate for a do-over.
