The Origin of The Feces – Corrupt Intelligence Community Now Leaking To Justify Unlawful Election Surveillance: Operation “Crossfire Hurricane”…

U.S. intelligence officials who participated in the 2016 Russian interference narrative/scheme are now attempting to justify their conspiratorial conduct with leaks to the New York Times and Washington Post.  Their leaks are a transparent effort to justify prior conduct. This cover-up endeavor has been their primary focus since congress started demanding documentary evidence from the DOJ, FBI, State Department and intelligence participants in the scheme.

Before breaking-down and explaining the recent obfuscations allow me to posit one simple but central example that highlights the gross intelligence misconduct.

On October 21st, 2016, the DOJ and FBI used the Steele Dossier as the foundation for their FISA Title-1 Surveillance application against Carter Page.  Surveillance was a key part of the FBI counterintelligence operation to investigate Russian interferance in the 2016 election.  However, almost three months later, on January 4th, 2017, when John Brennan, James Clapper, and James Comey produced their Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA), the same individuals who created the FISA application did not include the Steele Dossier in their ICA report.

Think about the contradiction in this example. It is within this contradiction, and many more, where we discover the origin of the feces. If the Dossier was valid enough to present to a FISA court as evidence of Russian involvement; then why wouldn’t that same Dossier be valid enough evidence to include in their January Intelligence Community Assessment?

When you start asking these irreconcilable common sense questions, you begin to realize -and expose- how insufferably corrupt the entire intelligence scheme really was.  The entire scheme was an assembly of individual lies; each lie a thread rolled into a bigger ball of entwined nonsense.  Look at it from a distance and it looks like a vast Russian conspiracy ball; however, pull any single strand out, look at it, and there’s no truth to it.

It’s all an illusion.

This illusion was on full display today when the Senate Intelligence Committee asked John Brennan (CIA), James Clapper (ODNI), and Mike Rogers (NSA) to come to a closed door hearing so the corrupt senate politicians -who were also involved in the scheme- could coordinate talking points and generate synergy in their excuses and justifications. Not surprisingly former FBI Director James Comey refused to attend.

Today’s motive for the Senate Intelligence Committee hearing was exactly that: coordinate talking points, circle the wagons and reach a consensus on justification.  As we have outlined exhaustively the Senate Intel Committee is the second most corrupt deep-state assembly in Washington DC.

Another example of fraudulent threads is the 2018 indictments of Russian entities by Robert Mueller.  This week, as specific threads are pulled out for legal challenge, we discover that Mueller indicted Russian organizations that didn’t even exist during the time they were supposed to have been engaged in election trouble.  Another corrupt thread example is Robert Mueller having to lean on 2006 and 2009 tax avoidance schemes (financial crimes) of Paul Manafort in order to justify a Special Counsel indictment of Paul Manafort for involvement in… (?)… well, no-one really knows, except it’s NOT 2016 Russian election interference?…

Where did Mueller get his collapsing foundational intelligence for his Russian indictments?… Well, from the Russian investigative evidence inside the ICA… DUH.  An ICA that was based on false and thin threads.

Look deeper at the Russian use of Twitter… OK, but wait, when they do, there’s no ‘there’ there either.  Social media? Same/Same…  Look at Russian spending on campaign events…. OK, but wait, when they do, the same outcome… Comrade nothingburger.

Which leads to all of these Special Counsel endeavors simply trying to justify the existence of an investigation into something that never existed. And it should be noted many of the same players attempting to create the current justification are the same players who participated in the scheme to create the illusion.  It’s all nuts…. and as each thread is removed and reviewed, the illusion is collapsing.

The more the Russian Conspiracy Collusion-illusion collapses, the harder those corrupt officials are having to work in an impossible effort to retain it. There are so many holes appearing in their dam, they’ve run out of fingers and toes to plug ’em.   James Comey, skipping out on today’s meeting, appears to have invested in scuba gear.

This backdrop is the reason for the corrupt intelligence operators turned to the New York Times for help.  However, their leaked excuses/justifications are so ridiculous they are transparently desperate.  Consider:

New York Times –  Within hours of opening an investigation into the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia in the summer of 2016, the F.B.I. dispatched a pair of agents to London on a mission so secretive that all but a handful of officials were kept in the dark.

Ha, ha, ha…. stop. Just stop.  Now you’re being silly… Ooooh, so secret FBI Agent Peter Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page were text messaging each other about it?

…Their assignment, which has not been previously reported,..

Yes it has.

Sorry NYT, no exclusive here.  Anyone who read the actual text messages six months ago read all about the U.K. assignment. There are dozens of reports; just not from The Times or Washington Post.

…was to meet the Australian ambassador, who had evidence that one of Donald J. Trump’s advisers knew in advance about Russian election meddling. After tense deliberations between Washington and Canberra, top Australian officials broke with diplomatic protocol and allowed the ambassador, Alexander Downer, to sit for an F.B.I. interview to describe his meeting with the campaign adviser, George Papadopoulos.

Oh, see the motive here?

We already knew about all this – but the leakers are trying to frame justification for the upcoming released name of apparatchik Stefan Halper, and how he participated in organizing all of these “unofficial” meet-ups.

The agents summarized their highly unusual interview and sent word to Washington on Aug. 2, 2016, two days after the investigation was opened. Their report helped provide the foundation for a case that, a year ago Thursday, became the special counsel investigation. But at the time, a small group of F.B.I. officials knew it by its code name: Crossfire Hurricane.

THIS –right.flippin’.here– is why I’ve been yelling at people to read the damned Page/Strzok text messages.  This paragraph is written by the New York Times because Andrew McCarthy finally broke down and read the darned messages and wrote about this specific meeting and what the FBI did upon Strzok’s return from London. {SEE HERE}

[…] Agents considered, then rejected, interviewing key Trump associates, which might have sped up the investigation but risked revealing the existence of the case. Top officials quickly became convinced that they would not solve the case before Election Day, which made them only more hesitant to act. When agents did take bold investigative steps, like interviewing the ambassador, they were shrouded in secrecy.

Fearful of leaks, they kept details from political appointees across the street at the Justice Department. Peter Strzok, a senior F.B.I. agent, explained in a text that Justice Department officials would find it too “tasty” to resist sharing. “I’m not worried about our side,” he wrote.

Only about five Justice Department officials knew the full scope of the case, officials said, not the dozen or more who might normally be briefed on a major national security case.

See what they’re doing here?  Political spin.  Attempted justification etc.

Mr. Comey was briefed regularly on the Russia investigation, but one official said those briefings focused mostly on hacking and election interference. The Crossfire Hurricane team did not present many crucial decisions for Mr. Comey to make.

Top officials became convinced that there was almost no chance they would answer the question of collusion before Election Day. And that made agents even more cautious.

The F.B.I. obtained phone records and other documents using national security letters — a secret type of subpoena — officials said. And at least one government informant met several times with Mr. Page and Mr. Papadopoulos, current and former officials said. That has become a politically contentious point, with Mr. Trump’s allies questioning whether the F.B.I. was spying on the Trump campaign or trying to entrap campaign officials.  (read more)

D’oh, there it is again… keeping Comey in the ‘willfully blind’ dark again.

I can’t go on – it’s one thing to read propaganda, it’s another thing entirely to submerge yourself in the parseltongue obtuse obfuscations and lies.

The leaky obfuscation goes on to say in retrospect the FBI and DOJ couldn’t tell President Trump about their spying, wire-tapping and campaign surveillance…. because it would reinforce Trump’s impressions of the FBI and DOJ wire-tapping, spying and surveillance upon him…..  Seriously, that’s their excuse.

I’m done with this nonsense.  The third-phase of IG Horowitz looking into the FISA court abuse will reveal much of this; and I prefer to outline bite-sized portions of corruption one thread at a time.

The Obama Intelligence Community is screwed.

They know it, and their justifications in the New York Times proves they know it.

Mark the date.

The tide has turned.

They, all of them, are now left attempting to control the severity of their exposure.

“Muh Russia” is dead.

Political operatives, contractors, used deep-state access to FBI and NSA databases for campaign opposition research.  Then they needed justification… then came the sketchy counterintelligence operation…. Then they needed justification…. then came the use of the sketchy Dossier to get a FISA warrant….. Then they needed cover…. then came the Russian Conspiracy…. Then they needed cover…. Then came the Special Counsel….

I think Schiff is the leaker here.

This is the obviously fake story that Papadoofus’ drunken statements about Hillary’s missing emails from her personal server were somehow an omniscient prediction of the later DNC hack.

Maybe the Australian was confused but no way the FBI was confused.

But I think this might not be an FBI created origin story. I believe this is a creature of Adam Schiff. It sounds to much like his earlier ramblings. It could have been invented for him by Fusion GPS.

Poor Trump. He’s really just trying to do what’s best for the country. The policitions, media and celebs don’t have a ounce of honesty or integrity anymore. How can these assholes sleep at night. It’s pathetic what they are putting this country through and getting away with it. Shame on Sessions for allowing this. Shame on all of them.

The past few weeks I have been spending hours researching and really praying that this would turn around. It’s going to take a lot more prayers because Satan has taken over.

Trump does not give a hoot about politics, political capitol, or the next election. Trump is allowing them to throw their tantrums as his administration is setting up the million pound hammer to finish the job.

These leftist sycophants and careerist bureaucrats have literally been getting away with murder for years now. They are traitors to this Republic and the Democratic system of government we live under. Their denials and obfuscations ring hollow now. They are definitely now in the CYA mode knowing what’s ahead for them. They are criminals and I hope the OIG report, and especially Huber’s investigation, nails them to a cross. We next need to look at a system of checks and balances that actually works and will stop future bureaucrats from misusing the power they were granted. Honestly, these people are scary. Brennan, for instance, is a sneaky liar and master manipulator of the truth and will literally stop at nothing to control any situation or person…… including the 2016 election. These people MUST be brought to justice……… including Hillary!

Wow. I could not have put it better myself Curt. Where do we start? From what I have surmised with the help of this latest summation by SD(excellent job SD in peeling away the layers of lies in the NYT story) is that members of Congress, FBI, CIA, DOJ, State Department, and other lower level gvt officials should face prosecution and go to jail.

I personally favor the way God brought justice on Herod:
“On the appointed day Herod, wearing his royal robes, sat on his throne and delivered a public address to the people. They shouted, ‘This is the voice of a god, not of a man.’ Immediately, because Herod did not give praise to God, an angel of the Lord struck him down, and he was eaten by worms and died. ” Acts 12: 21-23

Historians report old King Herod died the most horrible death. Use this as a model, or horrible example, if you will.

But Trump’s government continued to flourish….

    From May 15, 2018

“The Rolling Stones’s frontman Mick Jagger also knocked Trump in Tuesday’s BBC interview for playing the band’s 1969 classic, “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” without their permission during his 2016 White House bid.

“He used it on everything. He used it on every rally through the election campaign,” Jagger, 74, said.

“I wasn’t the DJ, obviously,” Jagger said, but, “it’s a funny song for your play-out song.”

“So when he finished the speech, he played this out on this sort of doomy ballad about drugs in Chelsea,” Jagger continued.

It’s kind of weird if you think about it, but he couldn’t be persuaded to use something else. That was an odd thing, really odd.”

Trump knew! He knew about “Crossfire Hurricane”. Hahaha, this is beyond 6-D chess! I never once regretted having voted for this man. We’re blessed to be here to witness this.

Jagger didn’t say the “without permission”. That was the lead in about the BBC interview. Earlier in the year Jagger explained that he was powerless to stop the use as the fees were paid by the by the given venue and thus perfectly legit. I don’t know Jagger’s politics (few do, I imagine) and i don’t care but the line, “without their permission”, was written is typical poor journalism: either a deliberate lie or ignorance.
I see that the article has been updated and that line has been scrubbed.

I went to a couple of Trump’s rallies and thought the walk out song was an odd, if not wrong, choice. As Jagger’s words would blare “You can’t …always get… what you wa ont” but In hindsight it was PERFECT.

It was a loud in your face poke that he knew about Crossfire Hurricane and the fact that they can’t get what they want (any good dirt on Trump).

I predict there will be many many of these hidden clues to what Trump knew. Should be fun going back and listening to Trump rallies, debates, and interviews. Trump commonly dropped random “odd” comments. He still drops random clues for us. We just don’t know what they mean yet.

Yep. And that’s exactly why Peter Carr, Mueller’s mouthpiece, stonewalled us on giving the DATE when Lisa Page left the Mueller team and went back to the FBI. We are certain, now, that it was on or about the very same date when Strzok was brought over from the FBI to the Mueller team. See:

“EXCLUSIVE: Mueller Mouthpiece Muzzled—Refuses to Answer When Lisa Page Returned to FBI from Mueller Team”

Page, then Strzok, were *sequentially* with Mueller specifically because of their key roles. This militates toward a conclusion that Mueller, at all relevant times, was completely briefed BEFORE the IG supposedly informed him of the Strzok-Page texts on 27 July 2017.

The date for Brennan’s briefing of Harry Reid was August 25th. It looks to me that there was one Senator selected for a “special” briefing the others didn’t get.

    From the article:
In an Aug. 25 briefing for Harry Reid, then the top Democrat in the Senate, Mr. Brennan indicated that Russia’s hackings appeared aimed at helping Mr. Trump win the November election, according to two former officials with knowledge of the briefing.

The officials said Mr. Brennan also indicated that unnamed advisers to Mr. Trump might be working with the Russians to interfere in the election. The F.B.I. and two congressional committees are now investigating that claim, focusing on possible communications and financial dealings between Russian affiliates and a handful of former advisers to Mr. Trump. So far, no proof of collusion has emerged publicly.

If Strzok briefed Reid and not Brennan then it blows away the new narrative of a “quiet investigation”. It also would show clear evidence of the CIA/FBI connection through Strzok as well as explain why Reid had such a different reaction to the briefing than the others. Finally, it would conclusively show that Strzok or Page thought Harry Reid was “kind of a douche” which we all know is true therefore seems to validate this theory even more.

Reid briefed 8-25-16 By Brennan and/or Strzok? via teleconference
Reid sends letter to Comey on 8-27-16.
      NYT reports letter 8-29-16
The following day, Aug. 30, 2016, Strzok texted Page: “Here we go,” sending a link to the Times report titled, “Harry Reid Cites Evidence of Russian Tampering in U.S. Vote and seeks FBI inquiry.

Page replied: “D [Comey] said at am brief that Reid called him and told him he would be sending a letter.”

Congressional investigators suggested that the Reid letter possibly provided “cover” for the fact that the FBI and Justice Department had already begun investigating the Trump campaign in mid-July on what they called “questionable ethical and legal grounds.”

“The ‘here we go’ text between Strzok and Page indicates the FBI/ DOJ knew the letter from Reid was coming,” a congressional source told Fox News. “This created the inference they knew it would create public calls for an investigation into Russian interference — covering them.”

I sighed, as they are one of my all-time-favorite bands. I did not read the article, as I want to keep music and politics separate in these classic cases. How do you cut he cord with The Stones??!!

    3. Checked Fakebook late Wednesday and some of the private conservative groups were freaking out about “Crossfire Hurricane” being the code name for the muh Russia Trump investigation. Then saw it on a Hannity tweet.

    4. Me: FULL STOP! I have not EVER read a political post from Keith Richards…well…..since microfiche days. Within a 24-hour period a Rolling Stone member makes an anti-Trump comment that is published and then a Rolling Stones song is revealed as the name of the FBI anti-Tump investigation is released, named “Crossfire Hurricane.” Fixed!!! Deep dark swamp/media days. (I do have a KR guitar pick that i caught while attending one of his solo tours in the 90s…full disclosure, he is/was one of my guitar heros).

Not only is Crossfire Hurricane a lyric from Jumping Jack Flash, but it is also a 2012 film documentary which I got recently ( not bad, but one of many documentaries about the Stones ). It aired on HBO and was released on DVD in 2012, but interestingly it was announced on Jan 18, 2017 two days before Trump’s inauguration as airing on AXS TV in February. That’s 5 months past the dated text messages above. Coincidence no doubt, but if we had the complete airing schedule for the film on HBO and other networks we might find out it was something Strzok had recently watched an had on his mind.

Jagger is the epitome of a politically correct artist which is ironic because he was so anti-establishment early on. Living the high life in Limos and Manhattan cocktail parties changed him into a pure establishment figure with nothing interesting to say in decades. And let’s face it, he was never a rocket scientist anyway and was expert at saying stupid things like blaming the Hell’s Angel who possibly saved his life at Altamont for the “murder” of the pistol wielding fanatic ( thus causing future grief for the band from a “hit” being placed on him ). Slamming Trump in an interview, angering 50% of his fans in one shot is par for the course IMHO. Charlie and Bill were the thoughtful members ( Wyman’s history of the blues is a must-see ). And though Keith is miles smarter than Mick, he too is prone to foot in mouth disease. Heroin and repeated blood transfusions have great effect ( I mean, who is stupid enough to repeatedly push needles into one’s arm?! ). It should be noted that “Sir” Mick and the rest of the Stones are tax ex-pats who incorporated the band in America ( worth about half a billion ) to avoid the 90+% confiscatory rates in Britain. So they are enormous hypocrites when they criticize Trump’s deplorables. And I should point out that with their unmatched sheer volume of work ( records, movies, greatest hits, investments, concerts ) they are financial bumblers because they have lost, had stolen or squandered probably twice again that total net worth.

However back to the seditious conspiracy. I think the answer is hidden in plain sight. Having failed Cloak & Dagger 101 he failed to choose a non-descript codename and inadvertently publicized the fact that there was a USA-UK anti-Trump operation underway which he just happened to have been at the center of. As an undisciplined member of the deep state and fellow traveler to Team Hillary, he just couldn’t help himself.

P.S. I guess this UK attack is like the 5th British invasion of America of note! (1) the American Revolutionary War, (2) burning Washington in 1814, (3) Beatles/Stones/Cream/Yardbirds/Who etc in 1960’s, (4) Sabbath/Purple/Zep/Priest/Maiden/UFO/Leppard in 1970’s-1980’s, (5) GCHQ/Steele/etc. The limeys should stick to music because they were the only successful attacks on us to speak of!

I envisioned a great article very similar to this one where sundance would poke numerous articulate holes in this ludicrous attempt to cover up and downplay the coup. I looked forward to reading sundance’s reply and I was definitely not disappointed. Fabulous analysis and sundance’s justified indignation at this feeble attempt to cover up their nefarious actions is clear.

Kimberley Strassel’s tweets were excellent. She also made it crystal clear she’s not buying any aspect of this amateurish NYT’s con job either.

Besides a few FNC hosts that seemed to take the Times’ version too seriously, I was surprised to hear John Solomon comment that the original FBI “plant” was a typical FBI procedure and probably had no nefarious intent. Several commenters –we neglected to note names– emphasize that Alexander Downer [how appropriate] was not an “Australian Ambassador” but “High Commissioner of Australia to the United Kingdom”. This is a far less prominent position, in substance not a diplomatic but a political appointment, whose title-holder coordinates Commonwealth Trade Commission minutia under Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Leave it to Beaver– “trade” means special interests; special interests mean “campaign contributions”; political funding (“the envelope, please”) means not only in-group influence-peddling but brass-tacks subversion of electoral processes on behalf of reigning clerisy. In general, self-serving apparatchiks maintain their Iron Rice Bowls as a perpetually incumbent nomenklatura, concerned not only to feather in-group nests but to ruthlessly preempt all competition.

By all odds, Downer was an appropriate instrument for deep-cover Cambridge academic Stefan Halper’s orchestrated pas de deux with naive George Papadopoulos. This is a species of in-house “sabotage, espionage, subversion, infiltration” (USAFSS crypto-intelligence manual, 1960s) which dare not speak its name.

Trump/Sessions will be portrayed as using power to mow down detractors. Details (which are “in the weeds” as you know) will be glossed over as they are in this article. For instance, Strzok says he won’t tell Bill some certain information (that’s either not stated or redacted), and Page says, right, I’ll tell him later. These two, Strzok and Page, seem to know all, and decide who else should know what, and when.

Have you seen references to a man named Jonathan Moffa? He’s referred to in the texts as “jon”, “jm” and “Moffa”. Everyone else, so far, I’ve been able to figure out their position in FBI or DOJ at the time, but Jonathan Moffa is a bit of an enigma.

On 2 May ’16 Comey sent an email to Andrew McCabe, James Baker and James Rybicki with a draft of his memo clearing Clinton. On 6 May McCabe then forwarded the same draft to Bill Priestap, Peter Strzok, Jonathan Moffa and a 4th person whose name is redacted. It appears Moffa also works in Counter-Intelligence. McCabe stated (in part) in his email to the four, ‘the director composed the below straw man in an effort to compose what a final statement might look like in the context of a press conference. Priestap was the head of Counter Intel, Strzok was his deputy.

Seems to me the plot had began when it was becoming apparent Trump was going to win the nomination. This would have been in March/April ’16. An FBI/UK intel source fed Papadopoulos with the Russian info on 26 April. Another then set him up to meet with Downer on 10 May.

Meanwhile between 2 May and 6 May, Comey & Co area writing up the memo to clear Clinton and launch the Trump setup.

Trump wins the nomination on 3 May with all others dropping out of the race.

Strzok texts his lover Lisa Page on 4 May that Bill (Priestap) his boss and the head of counter intelligence is in London and will be back next week.

Doesn’t take an Einstein to figure out what Priestap was doing in jolly old London. Calling in a few favours from UK/FBI intelligence connected counterparts to set up Papadopoulos and Carter Page and so begins the Trump/Russia narrative.

    “John Brennan
CIA director. Brennan first alerts the White House to the Putin intelligence and later briefs Obama in the Oval Office. convened a secret task force at CIA headquarters composed of several dozen analysts and officers from the CIA, the NSA and the FBI.

The unit functioned as a sealed compartment, its work hidden from the rest of the intelligence community. Those brought in signed new non-disclosure agreements to be granted access to intelligence from all three participating agencies.

They worked exclusively for two groups of “customers,” officials said. The first was Obama and fewer than 14 senior officials in government. The second was a team of operations specialists at the CIA, NSA and FBI who took direction from the task force on where to aim their subsequent efforts to collect more intelligence on Russia.”

There is a Adam Schiff quality to the “leaks” with its focus on the mostly dubious Australian-Papapdoofus story, although he might have been pushing that from Fusion GPS. It’s all old stuff repackaged maybe.

Anyone who has followed this can easily read the New York Times inadvertently placed the Steele memos front and center of the investigation. Strzok might have used the name “crossfire” knowing the docs were “fire” from the Hillary campaign. He might have been sent to London in August to “see” the memos courtesy of the cooperation of MI6 in order to hide the fact higher ups like Comey and Brennan already knew of the June and July memos from Hillary’s people.

Why not? They Hillary’s people paid for the memos. Certainly they would have used them.
