CNN political analyst David Gregory said he didn’t like former FBI Director James Comey’s interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos and believes Comey is “obsessed” with his public perception.

“I didn’t like that interview,” Gregory said on “New Day” Monday. “I think yet again he is obsessed with his standing, his media standing, his kind of political standing. I love how he says he doesn’t want to go down the road of getting involved in politics and yet that’s exactly what he did in the Clinton e-mail investigation, both times.”

    • These comparisons to the Nazis and whatever have never and can never be fully explained.
They throw stuff out and are allowed to just move on.

So what has Trump done that can put him in the same light as the Nazis?
What has his Admin done to even be put in the same sentence?

I do know that comparing the last Administration would make more sense.
They spied on the Candidate and the newly elected president. They spied, unmaked or otherwise leaked the names of multiple Americans illegally.
They also used the entire Intel Community to attack, slander, and discredit every person associated with the Trump Campaign.

All of it was set up by lies to a FISA court and by others willing to ignore the law.
They systematically planted stories to a compliant MSM all to hinder what we as Americans cherish as the peaseful exchange of power in this country.

So again, what is it that Trump has done as President that would bring those insane comparisons?

Yes this is just venting. There are no intellegent answers. But there are daily soundbites of people making stupid and false claims. That never get questioned or explained.

Obama admin spent $36M on lawsuits to keep info secret

“WASHINGTON — The Obama administration in its final year in office spent a record $36.2 million on legal costs defending its refusal to turn over federal records under the Freedom of Information Act, according to an Associated Press analysis of new U.S. data that also showed poor performance in other categories measuring transparency in government….”

“For a second consecutive year, the Obama administration set a record for times federal employees told citizens, journalists and others that despite searching they couldn’t find a single page of files that were requested.”

“And it set records for outright denial of access to files, refusing to quickly consider requests described as especially newsworthy, and forcing people to pay for records who had asked the government to waive search and copy fees….”

“…Of the $36.2 million in legal costs fighting such lawsuits last year, the Justice Department accounted for $12 million, the Homeland Security Department for $6.3 million and the Pentagon for $4.8 million. The three departments accounted for more than half the government’s total records requests last year.”

Jerry Smart there is a legal reason and a political reason why Sessions hasn’t made arrests. Politically the IG report comes out first so that the public understands the reason for arrests. Even when those reasons are laid out the unhinged Left intends to create civil chaos. It will help to have sane people on board and the unhinged chaos makers marginalized. Legally it is up to the Prosecutor working with the IG to unseal indictments and make arrests after the IG Report is made public. That is NOT sessions job. Sessions job was to appoint the Prosecutor.

By Rowan Scarborough – The Washington Times – Monday, April 16, 2018
Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s office is warning that “many” news articles on the Trump-Russia probe have been wrong.

The statement from a spokesperson did not single out particular stories. But the warning did come after media inquiries about a McClatchy News story on Friday that said Mr. Mueller has evidence that President Trump’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen, did in fact travel to Prague in 2016 as alleged by the Christopher Steele dossier.

“What I have been telling all reporters is that many stories about our investigation have been inaccurate,” the Mueller spokesperson said. “Be very cautious about any source that claims to have knowledge about our investigation and dig deep into what they claim before reporting on it. If another outlet reports something, don’t run with it unless you have your own sourcing to back it up.”

The statement was reported by the Daily Caller and confirmed by The Washington Times.

Excerpt from full Comey interview in answer to Why did you make that speech in July instead of Loretta Lynch & DOJ?

JAMES COMEY: Well, for a bunch of reasons. And it sort of built over the course of the investigation. First of all, we had the problem that President Obama had twice publicly basically said, “There’s no there, there.” In an interview with– on Fox, an interview on 60 Minutes I think, both times he said that. So that’s his Justice Department.

GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: Did that surprise you?

JAMES COMEY: It really did surprise me. He’s a very smart man and a lawyer. And so it surprised me. He shouldn’t have done it. It was inappropriate–

GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: Did you think he was trying to color the case?

JAMES COMEY: I don’t know. I don’t think so. He didn’t have any insight into the case, at least as far as I know, more than anybody reading the newspaper did, which was zero ’cause there were no leaks. I think he felt a pressure in the political environment because he wanted Hillary Clinton to be elected, to give her a shot in the arm. And so he spoke about an investigation. And he shouldn’t have done that. But that, as you can imagine, created this drumbeat that the Obama Justice Department, the fix is in because the president has told them what result they should reach.

GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: So that’s one reason that the Justice Department is compromised. What’s reason number two?

JAMES COMEY: Reason number two. And I have to talk about it very carefully. Classified information came into the possession of the U.S. intelligence community in the early part of 2016 that indicated there was material out there that raised the question of whether Loretta Lynch was controlling me and the F.B.I. and keeping the Clinton campaign informed about our investigation.

Here is an interview earlier today with Joe Digenova talking about the Comey interview last night and the pardoning of Scooter Libby by POTUS.

In case you missed it, the Cohen raid = the shot fired on Ft. Sumter.

    America’s 2nd Civil War…long underway…has now officially begun.

    “Lawfare”

    – the perversion of law as a tool of making war on political and/or ideological opponents

If you haven’t been going to the range to practice your shooting, it’s time to start getting prepped.

There is little doubt that the political left is planning massive social unrest and rioting this fall.

I was had the Greg Gutfeld show on FOX this weekend and was only partially listening, but he said something I think in his monologue that made kind of smile, in a twisted way.

I’m not sure what this was in relation to but I kind of think it was the Cohen raid. He said the way “they” are going, they will turn Trump into a “folk hero” and that 70 million people who voted for him are going to show up on their doorstep and it won’t be to sing “You’ve Got a Friend.”

      Law & Country,
They will act as you suggest, it’s the only cards they have left to play; it’s what they do.
Patriots need to defend the Constitution and the republic. Lefties will act out in the urban areas. It will be another public relations disaster for their cause. They are losing their grip on the story. The more they become the focus, the more our numbers will increase.
The facts and truth are on our side. Keep cool, patriots. To paraphrase a worthy special teamer:
“Let’s meet under the Liberty Tree; bring friends!”

Just saw the presser for Hooker’s Attorney.-regarding Cohen. This guy is a raving nutcase. He is saying anyone that was a client of Cohen for the past 20 years needs to be ” very concerned”. Leaks all over the place. What the hell is the matter with this Judge that allowed this.?

I honestly hope the Trump goes full on combo Hiroshima and Nagasaki on these people and anyone that lied, obstructed justice and committed treason.. and and yes I am mean- all the way to Obama. Douchebags. Take them ALL out.

AG Sessions is already the greatest AG in US History.

Never has the legal, constitutional, and civil rights of Americans (specifically, conservative Americans) been upheld more vigorously than at this present time.

Eight years of Obama, Holder, and Lynch with help from Comey, Yates, Clapper, Brennan, and numerous others couldn’t hold a candle to the achievement of AG Sessions in just over one year.

To heck with Trump. It is Jeff Sessions whose divine mein belongs on Mt. Rushmore.
