In interesting tidbit as the trade conversation with China heats up. I was in China last week and it was really enlightening to read the newspaper there. The entire front page was only stories about the tariffs from the US. Two feature stories about it as well as a front page opinion piece. The second page was 3/4 full of content about the tariffs. I found it extremely amusing that the opinion piece declared that China isn’t worried at all about the tariffs. Sure…

Meanwhile in US media the tariff stories barely made the front page as there were so many more important stories to cover like a porn star who may or may not have slept with the president over a decade ago. Our media sucks but it definitely provides a clear picture about who is more worried about the tariffs. China is absolutely petrified by a US president with some actual fortitude.

The MSM is too completely absorbed in their respective dogmatic blather to note that anything else can be of any relevance. I posted this in the general thread but it fits here. An “unknown” asteroid estimated to be between 48 and 110 meters long missed earth yesterday by half the distance to the moon. I’ve seen no reports of this in any of the media. NASA, who is supposed to monitor these, was apparently busy with the next Warmest-Year-eva rather than looking up. If this had been closer it could have really ruined someone’s day! Reference:

I hope the Congressmen and Senators get an earful while they are away from Washington.

Dedicated to all the LibTurds and those weasel GOPe politicians who won’t openly and fully support President Trump –

    See You In November

You were elected to do what’s right,
Instead you hide and neglect our plight.
When you go home, you should listen good,
Then come back here and do what you should.

If you decide not to do what’s right,
You’ll get our notice – rejection outright!
    Bye-bye, so long, farewell,
    Bye-bye, so long.

    See you in November,
Then we’ll collect all your back dues.
Here you are (bye, baby, goodbye)
Saying goodbye for the duration (bye, baby, goodbye)
A forced vacation (bye, baby bye, baby)
Is taking you away (bye, baby, goodbye)

So we say “You’d better remember
There is danger in what you say and do.
Will we vote for you in November,
Or will we make sure you’re through?”
(counting the days ’til our vote is due)
(you betray us – we won’t vote for you)

    Bye, baby, goodbye
    Bye, baby, goodbye
Bye, baby, goodbye (bye-bye, so long, farewell)
Bye, baby, goodbye (bye-bye, so long)

Q Drop No. 1156 is new version of a Meme device that will likely be used with greater frequency. It was specifically asked for by President Trump in code. Why in code? It’s purpose! With this Meme device, Trump’s Tweets will tell the whole story. He will not need to WH Press Corps to communicate directly to those who use phones for their news. It will kill off all the trolls, even the likes of Jake Tapper, who can’t get the story straight, if they wanted to. The Meme device can be seen on a single screen and tapped for a complete background of the story, directly from the Oval Office. The MSM will be reduced to Snopes, and no longer control the narrative.

I don’t do cut and paste. The proto-type is the Q-drop 1156. It is an interesting news story in one take. The following Q drops lead into Trump’s Tweets about Chinese Currency Manipulation and where and why he is monitoring it. With this level of information on a single screen, who needs the WH Press Corps, or Cable News? Trump is fashioning an direct-2-you news device right under the noses of the MSM, and they don’t get it! In 10 years, this will be how it’s done, as big a sea change as Julia Child and her PBS cooking show. Q is progressively switching to plain language as the device grows in readership.

In Hungary, they even had pictures of soros in the train stations during recent elections…asking folks if they wanted him making National Policy?
In USA, very few even know of soros, not to mention his destructive actions…we here kind of live in our own kind of bubble…and its easy sometimes, when doing good works, to forget how oblivious many Americans are.

Having states’ Attorneys General lined up against Trump and being pro-Left, it becomes increasingly difficult to get states’ cooperation in immigration issues, in election fraud issues, not to mention other MAGA policies that may be contested via legal challenges (regardless of how valid or invalid those challenges may be).

We can certainly count on Democrat Attorneys General to be less respectful of the U.S. Constitution and will want to use their tried-and-proven tactics to obstruct Trump’s EO’s or any Administration-based agency policies.

Comey was fearful as the men shook hands and Trump whispered in his ear – wait for it – “looking forward to working with you”. The horror!

I suspect that Comey is suffering from estrogen poisoning … if not EXTREME Leftist political poisoning. I would not be the least bit surprised that squishy Mr. Comey’s every decision was formulated around the dinner table with his … girls. Because Comey’s every word and deed reads like that of an “average-looking” middle school girl who tries to PLEASE everyone in an attempt to become “popular”. Yeah, Comey lacks courage. Let’s also not forget that Dershowitz’s word still means something in this country – he is able to touch, how consequentially to be determined, minds that Rush, Sean, and even our outstanding Sundance could never reach, due to the nature of the media and of the political gamesmanship.

It also helps that Alan Dershowitz is a man of a way above average IQ.

I was at my low when Oh-fer-F-sake was re-elected. I comforted myself with the down-ballot in 2012 and took it as a sign that yes, the country was awakening.

I encourage everyone to see the big picture.

2010 – America sees it’s tremendous error and returns control of the House to the GOP (1st time in ??? de3cades) – big down-ballot gains at state and local levels

2012 – Fed election push (no change), MASSIVE down-ballot gains

2014 – GOP gains control of US Senate, politically isolating Ozero and forcing him to dictate by EO – down-ballot gains continue – dems now hold fewest elected offices nationwide since 1920’s

2016 – The unpossible VSG President of the United States Donald J. Trump is elected over Hillary Clinton, giving the GOP control of all three branches of gov’t when one includes Justice Neil Gorsuch’s confirmation to the SCOTUS. Democrat party now at politically weakest point in a century.

When you look at the big picture, it is readily apparent that the nation has awoken to the liberal/marxist/statist/globo threat and is voting accordingly.

All of which is to say, the past 8 years has done so much to restore my faith in the citizens of this country. I didn’t think all this was possible, but by the time we got to PDJT I knew he was going to win the election. Nary a doubt in my mind.

What do we know about Judge Kimba Wood
    Some major +’s and -‘s

Federal judge on senior status with the United States District Court for the SDNY

She joined the court in 1988 after being nominated by President Ronald Reagan.

Graduated from Connecticut College with her bachelor’s degree in 1965, from the London School of Economics and Political Science with her master’s degree in 1966, and from Harvard Law School with her J.D. in 1969.

While she was enrolled at the London School of Economics, Wood trained for five days to be a bunny at the Playboy Club in London.

President Bill Clinton nominated Wood as his Attorney General in 1993. But it was her employment of an illegal immigrant that ultimately derailed her nomination for the Justice Department post.

She has been married/divorced 3 times – last being Michael Kramer, former writer for Time Magazine.

Here is where it gets interesting…
1995 she found herself embroiled into a legal issue of her own or that she was an unwilling participant — while both still married, she had affair w/ millionaire financier Frank Richardson 3d — according to HIS DIARIES — in which his wife found and submitted to the court in the divorce hearings.. detailed here

“Frank Richardson’s lawyer, Stanley Arkin, has repeatedly denied that his client had an affair with Wood. Richardson, who is worth nearly $160 million, has accused his wife of stealing the diaries from his locked attache case. She has denied the charge. The diary entries contain intimate details on Frank Richardson’s feelings about Wood, 51, a respected jurist who has presided over such high-profile proceedings as the Michael Milken securities fraud case. Frank Richardson and Wood have gone underground since the furor over their relationship erupted this week. A close friend of Wood’s, who asked to remain anonymous, said that the judge had no plans to comment publicly about Richardson’s diaries or her relationship with him. The source said that several of Wood’s pals, who reached her on vacation in Italy, have urged her to tell her side of the story. Though the disclosures are the talk of the New York legal community, Wood’s colleagues in Manhattan Federal Court have remained tight-lipped about the scandal. Frank Richardson, who is believed to be in England on business, was said to be incensed about the revelations. “He is feeling a profound sense of outrage that these things were leaked,” said one source who has spoken with him. “But he’s a smart man. He’ll get over it.”

    ——–
But wait – here is the kicker — another thing we should know about Judge Wood.

Wood also officiated at a non-denominational wedding service for billionaire George Soros in 2013.

Here’s an opinion from what used to be called the Democrats/Left:
“All this raises the question: when will reasonable people in the USA — if there are any left — begin to see the Russia-meddling-in-our-election story as a botched attempt to cook up a giant distraction from America’s own swan dive into failed state-hood? The moves on that game-board have been so crude and bizarre that the very machinery of the republic is melting down as if on-purpose. President Trump begins to look like a pitiful, helpless, hostage to unseen forces. For the moment he can’t control a rogue Department of Justice, even when they trespass on a pillar of due process by seizing his personal attorney’s papers and computer records. He does what his generals tell him to do in the war room.”
    http://kunstler.com/clusterf***-nation/kabuki-warfare/
BTW, small sections of America became mini failed states quite some time ago, and we are importing whole populations at a time to create pocket failed states just as fast as we can.

Comey interview transcript: Read what wasn’t aired on Sunday
By: Debbie Lord, Cox Media Group National Content Desk

    Updated: Apr 16, 2018 – 12:10 AM

ABC News has released part of the transcript of the interview with former FBI Director James Comey.

Most of the exchanges in the provided transcript between Comey and ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos were not aired Sunday. To see live updates of what was aired, click here.

    >> Read more trending news

Comey talked about his reasoning in dealing with Hillary Clinton, about the investigation into White House attorney Vince Foster’s death during Bill Clinton’s first administration and his views on former Attorney General Loretta Lynch.

Below is one of the exchanges, and here is a link to the entire transcript.

George Stephanopoulos: “Doesn’t that cast a cloud over the attorney general, an unjustified cloud over the attorney general?”

James Comey: “In a way, yeah. I mean, I like Loretta. As I said, I respect her even today. And so in a way, it’s unfair to her. But when you’re in the business of running a Justice Department institution, what people think matters. Public faith and confidence is everything to the Justice Department.

“And so whether or not it was true, the fact that it would be out there and allow people to argue that something terrible was going on in this investigation cut in favor of more transparency. I’m not saying it’s true. But because it will undermine confidence in our work, the way to react to that is show people your work. And again, Justice Department policy allows for this. What made it different was the separation between the FBI and the Justice Department. Now, that– of course, that material — I’m talking about it carefully because it’s still classified, that was just one brick in the load. The major brick in the load happened just before.”

I think this illustrates that there are 2 LL problems. 1. The concerns of what might have taken place on the tarmac. 2. What ever happened shortly after that is still classified (presumably the Weiner stuff).

Just more substantiation for tracybeans and Sundances analysis.

And this is among the reasons I don’t like Pence, he is untrustworthy and I believe has a hidden agenda. WHY would he try to appoint someone from the NeverTrump faction?

Pence’s pick for national security adviser backs out
    By Joe Tacopino, April 16, 2018 | 1:42am

Vice President Mike Pence’s pick for his national security adviser withdrew from consideration, it was announced Sunday night, as the candidate’s “Never Trump” past reportedly caused the ire of the president.

Pence’s office released a statement late Sunday that praised Jon Lerner but said he has told the vice president that he does not want the job.

“Tonight Jon informed the vice president that he was withdrawing from coming on board as national security adviser and the vice president accepted his decision,” Alyssa Farah, Pence’s press secretary, said in a statement.

“Vice President Pence holds Jon Lerner in the highest regard and expressed his deep gratitude for Jon’s willingness to consider joining our team.”

The development came hours after Axios reported that President Trump believed Lerner, a longtime Republican strategist, was a member of the “Never Trump” movement.

Lerner had helped the conservative Club for Growth create ads as part of a multi-million dollar offensive against Trump during the GOP primaries.

“Why would Mike do that,” Trump reportedly said on Friday after learning that Pence picked Lerner to lead his foreign policy team.

Trump then ordered White House Chief of Staff John Kelly to block Lerner, until Pence convinced him otherwise, the site said.

Despite the back-and-forth, Lerner was out of the running by day’s end.

2 good points brought up by Dershowitz in this FOX News interview this morning (see video linked above):

    * Sessions can intervene in the Cohen case because it is separate from the Mueller investigation (go around Rosenstein)

    * The Cohen matters involves pre-presidential activites

The second point is important because there is an argument about whether or not a president (or any official) can be impeached for actions he/she took before they were in office. Historically, it seems very rare for officials to be removed from office for deeds they did BEFORE they were in office. That’s definitely a notch in Trump’s favor, regardless of what comes from the Cohen raid.

Like Andrew McCarthy, Dershowitz feels that the president is in little jeopardy with respect to collusion or obstruction in the Mueller matter. And, like McCarthy, he feels Trump’s real “peril” is with the Cohen raid.

Still, the further away from impeachable crimes (supposed ones) we can get, the better Trump will be. So the timeline (pre-presidency) on the Cohen matter likely aids Trump in this regard.

Here is a discussion on the “Can an official be impeached for deeds done before taking office?” issue:

    https://www.forbes.com/sites/insider/2016/11/09/can-a-president-trump-be-prosecuted-based-upon-allegations-of-past-misconduct/#205db336491b

Just to be clear here — I am not trying to fear-monger as regards impeachment talk. Rather, I am looking at this from a “defense-first” perspective of ‘what is the worst case scenario?’

Even if the Cohen stuff turns out unfavorably for Trump, that still doesn’t mean there is a basis to impeach him as a result of whatever comes up with Cohen. Because of when it took place.

Could a President be impeached an convicted by a House and Senate full of Libs and GOPee’s who cast their votes to impeach and convict under the color of “High Crimes and Misdemeanors” but with no laws broken by the President and, in reality, just because the Libs and the GOPee’s don’t like him and fear he will expose them in their sell-influence-and-get-rich-rackets?

If so, does the President have any legal recourse?

Carl, I do think that the Congress can impeach for reasons they see fit. Meaning, for whatever reasons they want.

However, doing so with no real justification would be politically perilous for them. Thus, it’s much better to try to impeach after receiving “damning” reports from a special counsel, outside judges (Cohen stuff), etc.

I’m not sure if the president has legal recourse if a rogue Congress tries to railroad him.

Nullifying the will of 63 million Americans who carried the election is a very dangerous line to walk. So even if you want to do so because you dislike Trump, you better have some solid political cover to try to do so.

        Here’s the reality.
Look at the Constitution. There is no oversight on Congress’ ability to impeach, so who’s going to stop them? He can be impeached for wearing black socks if they want to and no one can stop them. The misdemeanors guidelines are meaningless in reality if there’s no oversight.
His only recourse is US…We the People.

Of course, we had the same situation with Obama, but there was not one single instance of impeachment resolutions that I can recall by legislators on our side.

        – until I see a trial or guilty plea
        – until I see a sentencing

I will choose to believe that all of these perpetrators will get off scott free.

I don’t mean to be negative, but I have seen the downward slide of our country because of the corruption in our government. If we see nothing less than a conviction of even one of the major perpetrators in this scandal (and I mean Obama, Lynch, Comey, McCabe, Rosenstein), then I will believe that there is justice left in our nation. And I will believe that there are still Americans who have the courage to uphold the law.

P/Trump has the direct power and a duty to make sure there are indictments. This has been P/Trump plan from Nov. 8 2016 and even while campaigning…

P/Trump has the power to ensure the CRIMINAL CODE is applied especially since it is the only answer to win the Civil War and to Save the United States….P/Trump knows if he doesn’t use his power granted by the Constitution he should not have left his Wonderful Life….AND P/Trump knows that P/Trump would be known throughout History for the President who had the Power to save the United States very Easily by just using the Criminal Code and instead let the Constitution and the United States Be Destroyed.

PRESIDENT TRUMP KNOWS ALL OF THIS AND WILL GO NUCLEAR WITH THE CRIMINAL CODE AND SAVE THE UNITED STATED. 100%!!!!!!!!

Good morning, I will post this right here:

    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/04/16/fec-hit-with-lawsuit-over-ignoring-civil-complaint-accusing-clinton-dnc-in-election-scheme.html

FEC hit with lawsuit over ignoring civil complaint accusing Clinton, DNC in election scheme:

    ——————————————————–

EXCLUSIVE: The Hillary Clinton Campaign and the Democratic National Committee allegedly used state chapters as strawmen to launder as much as $84 million in an effort to circumvent campaign donation limits, and the Federal Election Commission ignored complaints exposing the practice, a lawsuit filed Monday claims.
The Committee to Defend the President (CDP), a political action committee formally known as Stop Hillary PAC, filed its complaint with the FEC in December 2017 with the claims that the Hillary Victory Fund (HVF) solicited cash from big-name donors, and allegedly sent that money through state chapters and back to the DNC before ending up with the Clinton campaign.

As first reported by Fox News at the time, the CDP alleges in its complaint that about $84 million was funneled illegally from the DNC through state party chapters and back into the war chest of the Clinton campaign. The political action committee claims that even though the FEC acknowledged receipt of the complaint and claimed that an investigation would be conducted, the needle has barely moved.

“The Clinton machine has escaped accountability for its illegal practices for far too long,” Ted Harvey, CDP chairman, said to Fox News. “After months of review, the FEC has refused to address the Clintons’ $84 million money laundering scheme that violated several campaign finance laws.”

  34. Internal Affairs’ report of alleged misconduct by James Comey and Peter Kadzik during Trump’s Campaign for President to be released in May:

Peter Kadzik “led the successful effort to confirm . . . Loretta Lynch and Sally Yates” to run the Justice Dept.

Kadzik was a “fantastic lawyer” who “kept me out of jail” said Hillary Clinton’s Campaign Manager for President. That person was John Podesta.

Kadzik also rewrote FISA applicants that were rejected by the court.

    More today bits from Comey

GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: So that’s one reason that the Justice Department is compromised. What’s reason number two?

JAMES COMEY: Reason number two. And I have to talk about it very carefully. Classified information came into the possession of the U.S. intelligence community in the early part of 2016 that indicated there was material out there that raised the question of whether Loretta Lynch was controlling me and the F.B.I. and keeping the Clinton campaign informed about our investigation.

Now, I don’t believe that. And I don’t believe that’s true. But there was material that I knew someday, when it’s declassified, and I thought that would be decades in the future, would cause historians to wonder, “Hmm, was there some strange business going on there? Was Loretta Lynch somehow in — carrying water for the campaign and controlling what the F.B.I. did?”

Again, it wasn’t true. But there was material that would allow that to come out someday in the long future when it’s declassified. That all changed when someday, in my mind, became maybe tomorrow. That was in the middle of June, when the Russian government, using some fronts, started dumping stolen material that had been hacked from organizations associated with the Democratic party in the United States. And all of a sudden, it dawned on me that that someday decades from now when this material comes out actually may be now, tomorrow. And again, even though I didn’t believe it, the material was real. Whether what it said was true or not, I didn’t know. But it would allow people, partisans and even people who were partisans, to strongly argue that something was wrong

A little later and comey says he investigated but it wasn, true.

      Summary:

Comey is trying to get out in front of the coming info reveal, which is “Loretta Lynch was controlling me and the F.B.I. and keeping the Clinton campaign informed about our investigation.”

This is true, but he wants to deny it before it becomes public.

Comey is SUCH a douche nozzle.

Does anyone know what they are referencing

GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: –in a second. But I know you can’t talk about it, but I’ve read about it. I think a lotta the country has read about it as well. These are emails or memos released by the Russians. The F.B.I. knows they’re junk. How can you then allow that to influence this decision?

JAMES COMEY: Yeah, that’s tricky for me ’cause– ’cause the F.B.I.’s told me that I have to be very careful speaking about this ’cause it’s still classified. What I can say is the material is legitimate. It– it is real. The content is real. Now, whether the content is true is a different question. And again, to my mind, I believed it was not true.

I– I didn’t see any indication that Loretta Lynch was trying to cover this investigation for the Clinton campaign or direct me in any way. She stayed away from it as far as I could tell. But the point of it is I knew there was material that might hit the public square any moment, that would allow people to argue powerfully that there was monkey business going on–

Yes, I do believe I know what he’s referring to. I think this has already been reported by both Sara Carter and the NY Slimes. Someone with more time can look into this. But essentially, Comey came into possession of an email between people within the DNC, possibly Debbie Blabbermouth-Schultz, that claim that Lynch will not allow the Clinton email investigation to “go too far.” Of course the existence of the email is blamed on “Russia.”

This was the plan all along by the Soros Schumer cabal to get the Trump co investigation into the hands of the most rogue prosecutorial unit in the country

I still can’t see how Assad, in the face of an improving situation in Syria and the U.S. talking about leaving Syria, would then gas people (What people? What was the target?) which would certainly anger the U.S.

    So, here’s a thought.

Assad sees the U.S. planning to leave, but he’d really like them to stay and fight more rebels. So Assad gasses some people, and then comes up with a video showing that the gassing was planned, staged and conducted by the rebels, all to frame Assad so the U.S. (and the world) would hate him more.

But, the U.S. sees through the scheme and blows up three of Assad’s chemical and bio warfare facilities.

    Believable?

It appears as thought POTUS will be in Mar-A-Lago from today through Sunday. Information on that included in this hack msm report:

    https://www.palmbeachpost.com/news/trump-palm-beach-mid-afternoon-arrival-likely-begin-controversial-visit-mar-lago/N3W2Yklh9k0epZ7Z5NFnEK/

Trump will meet with Japanese Prime Minister Abe while at Mar-A-Lago.

I’m glad POTUS has time away from DC. No listening devices to worry about, and time to strategize on Mueller/Cohen away from the lights.

Meanwhile, Trump surrogates are making the rounds and carving up Comey after his apparently-dud performance on ABC last night.
