President Trump’s Stunningly Effective North Korea Policy Leaves Professional Diplomatic Corps Gobsmacked…

The statement tonight by South Korean National Security Adviser Chung Eui-yong is so jaw-dropping in significance it has left the professional diplomatic apparatus stunned.

A year of targeted and strategic geopolitical policy execution by President Trump, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley has resulted in North Korean leader Kim Jong-un accepting denuclearization and requesting a meeting with President Trump to achieve terms therein.

Yeah, HO-LEE-CATS is an understatement.  The possibility of a willingly denuclearized Korean peninsular is such an astounding policy victory; it is difficult to conceptualize.  Here’s the statement from South Korea’s Chung Eui-yong:

“Good evening, today I had the privilege of briefing President Trump on my recent visit to Pyongyang, North Korea.  I’d like to thank President Trump, the vice-president and his wonderful national security team, including my close friend General McMaster.”

“I thanked President Trump that his leadership, and his maximum pressure policy together with international solidarity, brought us to this juncture.  I expressed President Moon Jae-in’s personal gratitude for President Trump’s leadership.”

“I told President Trump that in our meeting North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said he is committed to denuclearization. Kim pledged that North Korea will refrain from any further nuclear or missile tests; he understands that the routine joint military exercises between the Republic of Korea and the United States must continue.  And he expressed his eagerness to meet President Trump as soon as possible.”

“President Trump appreciated the briefing and said he would meet Kim Jong-un by May to achieve permanent denuclearization.”

“The Republic of Korea along with the United States, Japan and our many partners around the world, remain fully and resolutely committed to the complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsular.”

“Along with President Trump we are optimistic about continuing a diplomatic process to test the possibility of a peaceful resolution.   The Republic of Korea, The United States and our partners stand together in insisting that we not repeat the mistakes of the past; and that the pressure will continue until North Korea matches it’s words with concrete actions.  Thank You.”   (link)

Korea Times – North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has expressed willingness to meet U.S. President Donald Trump for talks over denuclearization, South Korean officials visiting Washington said, Friday.

In response, Trump said he would like to meet him by May, they said.

National Security Office chief Chung Eui-yong, one of President Moon Jae-in’s envoys to Pyongyang who is now visiting Washington, said in a press briefing at the White House that he delivered such messages of Kim to Trump.

Kim also said he was “committed to denuclearization” and would “refrain from any further nuclear or missile tests,” Chung said. (link)

For whatever reason it seems liberal leaders never want to exercise enough muscle to really hurt our Communist/totalitarian adversaries. There is always some temporizing in their negotiations, some mechanism to escape being really tough.

I don’t mean to say that they shy away from using brass knuckles on like-minded leaders, but they always seem to listen more to the voices of moderation from their advisor groups. Voices of moderation vs. voices of results.

Trey Dawg, I am taking this with a grain of salt as a come-on only but Kim may surprise us, who knows. However, I hope they meet in a location where our President is not open to assassination or any other dastardly thing Kim may have in mind. If this goes as we hope, it proves once more that Trump sets the parameters in his art of the deal and it behooves Kim and others to be aware they are not being manipulated but working man to man to smooth things over. Kim must also be hurting meanwhile from not getting a lot of products/ supplies into his small country and not being able to send/sell products out and he does like living like royalty (while starving his people who, unfortunately most of them seeing him as a god because they have learned to be robots or be killed). We can pray this will truly and safely take place in May but in the meantime Kim and NK are suffering financially and economically and that hurts.

Kim may prefer something along NK/SK border, maybe Seoul, possibly somewhere in China.

Wasn’t Kim educated in Europe? Perhaps a European location.

Trump’s political philosophy is simply to fix all the problems those idiots created or didn’t have the intelligence or cajones to solve. In order to remain “elite” they’re gonna need to change the definition of that word.

Jong-Un might be assassinated. The Anonymous Conservative’s reaction was: Basically a total capitulation, and he can’t wait to do it. Trump rally is a master persuader, and master negotiator. How many decades have all the “professional” politicians failed. The God Emperor dealt with it permanently almost overnight.

My only concern would be Deep State sewing 50 lbs of explosives inside Jong-un’s belly right before the meeting, and forcing him to be a suicide bomber. I hope Secret Service forces him through an X-ray scanner like they had in Total Recall, before the meeting.

And if I was Trump, I would have all of my personal security there too, because I am certain the Secret Service was compromised at some level in the Kennedy assassination. There is no telling what any of Jong-un’s associates might be up to on behalf of their old Deep State masters.

But if things are as they seem, this is a huge confirmation that Q is the real deal, and something huge is happening behind the scenes.

Don’t have much time to listen to any of them except when I have a long drive to make.

I agree with you about Rush, though I’ve gone to the right of him these last 4 years! But that said: we need all the voices we can get, and he, Levin, Hannity, and even Savage and Alex J all land punches on the Leftwing Enemy, in different ways; they also reach different audiences. One thing Donny Two-Scoops realized shrewdly was that he needed them all in this battle, because the Enemedia has almost all the major megaphones.

I think of it as a battle where one of our media guys is a howitzer, another more of an anti-aircraft gun, another a railway gun, and yet another will lob grenades. We are the infantry, with rifles. Bloggers are the RPGs. And guess what? We need ALL of us in this fight.

A smart man would realize you can only let ’em eat cake and jail/torture/kill your internal adversaries for so long. Of course, you can only assume Kim has ulterior motives. Caliphate: destroyed within calendar year.

NoKo: within a little over a year, unprecedented face-to-face Heads of State meeting penciled in

I mean, do these other idiots just make it harder than it needs to be? Do they all just defer every decision to their policy makers and advisors? How… HOW… do you let the NoKo situation to get to this point? I mean WTF?

You give no credibility to anything NoKo says or agrees to, but still…

Obviously “our” politicos were all bought and paid for, whether directly or indirectly, by wealthy and powerful interests who wanted things that way.

The REAL reason the would-be Rulers of the World hate President Trump is that he is our Pro Bono President, not bought and paid for by ANYONE, and at long last, we AMERICAN CITIZENS have our own champion in the White House!!!

For too many decades: really since Reagan, we’ve been locked out of the room while the politicians of both parties and the would-be rulers of the world bought and sold our interests, and treated Americans like a herd of cattle, to be milked and slaughtered at will. Ayn Rand was right — they’re all LOOTERS.

For the record, Vinograd is a nobody. If you search her name in wikipedia, it’s a Bulgarian country and the second largest denomination is Sunni arab speaking. Paid fibber. Anyone that starts her bio off as being a “seasoned public policy and strategic communications professional” is a dustball seeking fame. Her area of study was the middle-east which is a chaotic mess of sects, religious zealots clambering on top of each other like gerbils, factions, terrorist cells, and affilitions. Apparently she can’t migrate her IQ to another zone where there’s one dictator and half an itsy bitsy country the size of her skinny nose.

NK’s largest revenues is from its slaves working aboard. They are hired on the cheap to do dangerous work, and their entire wages are then sent to NK government. The steel factories qualify as dangerous work, considering China’s standard on work safety. Yes, the regime is hit hard.

I can picture the meeting already:
Trump: “Ok Kim, you don’t have to kneel before me. You can stand up like a man.”
    Kim: “I am standing.”
Trump: “Ok, but could you at least take that stupid hat off?”
Kim: “I’m not wearing a hat.”
Trump: “Ok, now please get this cheap little whore out of here. I’m insulted that you think you can win favor with me that way. Don’t you know I have a beautiful wife that I love and respect?”
    Kim: “That’s my sister.”
Trump: “Like I said, get that cheap little whore away from me.”
Kim: “Ok, I just thought you might be ronry tonight”
Trump: “I guess you really are as stupid as you look. Now give us all your nuclear weapons before we anihilate your idiotic little regime.”
Kim: “Ok, but can you at least take my sister, too?”

Where to have the meeting? Well there’s the southside of the Korea dividing line, Guam or Japan- nope, Australia/ New Zealand- maybe, or if NK wants to leave China and join South Korea then consider holding negotiation talks in – India.

The Nork soldiers will need to protect their northern border against China, but that is a doable deal.

Some CNN twit claimed PDJT cannot possibly be ready in time for a May Summit. She has no clue whatsoever what he can do, and who he is. Impossible is his starting point only.

I am sure that our requirements and concessions are all long drafted, and have been updated continually, and plans for their execution all mapped out. On top of that, this Leader and his Team CAN move this quick, even without preparatory drafts.

This is merely Year Two of Eight in The Age of Trump, the World will be an unimaginably different place when he passes the baton.
